It is well known that the aromatic polycarbonate of bisphenol A (hereafter BPA polycarbonate) possesses superior transparency, exceptional toughness, high heat resistance and mechanical properties, which allow it to be diversely used for automotive, electrical, electronic, appliance and optical industries. In this paper, polycarbonate is reviewed on not only prospects of technology but market trend from the industrial point of view. It also demonstrates the diverse applications of polycarbonates with respect to its development history.

In this study behavior of deformation and fracture under static tensile load in friction welded dissimilar materials and necking 0phenomenon occuring at tensile yeilding point were shown. Fibrous zone with view of macroscope and dimple pattren with a view of microscope were observed at shear surface.

The railway shall be verified with the view point of dynamic performances before delivering to the Customer and the verification procedure shall be followed the Customer's demands or relevant international standard, UIC 518 (Testing and approval of railway vehicles from the point of view of their dynamic behavior-Safety-Track fatigue-Ride quality). In this paper, verification procedures in UIC 518 and the test results for domestic project are summarized.

There have been many studies concerning the relationships between stock returns and volatilities. Their positive relationship is well known from the theoretical point of view, but not empirically shown. Franch, Schwert and Stambaugh [11] has empirically provided the indirect evidence of the positive relationship betwen expected stock return and expected volatility. However, their study lacks some statistical validity. This study reexamines the relationship using regression diagnostics and GARCH model from an international point of view. The empirical results fall to show the positive relationship between expected stock return and expected volaiility, which contradicts those of France, Schwert and Stambangh [1].

The purpose of this thesis is to figure out the mechanism that how can be shown the aesthetic distances of novel in the film. At discussion of the view point, novel can be told by two factors which are 'who is teller' and 'who is watcher' but in the film, novel's narration is divided into visual point and auditive point. And I will consider the phenomenon on the part of this difference. Next, I will argue about difference between novel and film from the Park Jongwon's aesthetic distances which interpreted Lee Munyeol's work. This thesis is going to observe that how the film adapted three types of view point and how that related the subject of the original novel. For this thesis, I tried to track 'the distances' between figure and identity, and reader and author. Also I did approach that how can be accepted the problem of 'aesthetic distance according to identity' based on this novel in the film and novel's text by reader. This study make a proposal or analysis to the differences between novels and films in terms of narrative point of view. Although it is shown by dividing into each chapter in novel and on connectivity in film, this paper finds out that both film and novel are shown the subject of reader's difference of the view point about 'author and director's identity'.

In the present study, the friction coefficients (Fanning and Moody coefficients) and the Nusselt number is reviewed from an educational point of view. It is discussed that these dimensionless numbers can be treated with two lengh scales. Also, the similarity between the momentum and heat transfer is discussed based on the length scales.

The bubble point pressures of binary mixtures of carbon dioxide ($CO_2$) and N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF) were measured by using a high-pressure experimental apparatus equipped with a variable-volume view cell, at various $CO_2$ compositions in the range of temperatures above the critical temperature of $CO_2$ and below the critical temperature of DMF. The experimental bubble point pressure data were correlated with the Peng-Robinson equation of state (PR-EOS) to estimate the corresponding dew point compositions at equilibrium with the bubble point compositions. The experimentally measured bubble point pressures gave good agreement with those calculated by the PR-EOS. The variable-volume view cell equipment was verified to be an easy and quick way to measure the bubble point pressures of high-pressure compressible fluid mixtures.

"Kotchujang" is a favorite food among the Korean. "Kotchujang" is a fermented food made from rice, red pepper, table salt, water, and "Maeju". "Maeju" is a fermented Soybean and is the fermentation source for Kotchujang. The freshly prepared Kotchujang is quite hot due to the hot component of red pepper, Capasaicin and it is getting to decrease the hotness resulting to the delicious and milder taste after fermation for some time (one to two months ususally at home). When the past architecture is renovated, the important point is to approach from social and historical point of view. In Europe, there are many cultural and architectural hereditaments by backed-up ancient history and are usually happened modernistic applications of these architectures. Specially, when the past architecture is renovated, this study is focused on cases of museum and gallery which the people are approachable by me. I studied how to expressed the durability and to distinguish the design characteristics that is connected with the past from the European cases at modernistic point of time. The design characteristics are discovered two kinds. The first is 'consideration of the past architecture' and the second is 'consideration of the present age'.
