우리 나라 자생 왕포아풀의 수집지 분포 및 특성 (Geographical Distribution and Characteristics of Kentucky Bluegrass(Poa pratensis L..) Native to Korea)

  • This research has been conducted to collect regional ecotypes of Poa pratensis throughout the southern part of korean peninsula during 2000~2002. 227 local ecotypes of Poa pratensis were collected mostly from roadsides, riversides and rice paddies. The $35^{\circ}$ latitude was supposed to be the southern limit of native Poa pratensis habitat. 130 ecotypes of Poa pratensis found from the poor environmental condition such as roadsides showed Poa pratensis naturally grew throughout the country. When surveyed the habitat environment, it was concluded that native Poa pratensis were mostly found on open fields or half shaded areas, on sandy soil or sandy loam soil, and in the individual patch type.

  • 최근 유비쿼터스(Ubiquitous) 시대가 도래함에 따라 홈 네트워킹(Home Networking)환경과 이동컴퓨팅 환경에 주로 사용되는 임베디드 시스템을 효과적으로 이용하기 위해서 미들웨어가 필요하게 되었다. 그러나 임베디드 시스템의 제한된 자원을 효율적으로 이용하기 위해 미들웨어의 최적화가 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 CORBA 컴포넌트(Component)중 POA(Portable Object Adapter)와 ORB(Object Resource Broker)사이의 상황을 모니터링 함으로써 기존 POA의 지속적인 서비스정책을 유동적으로 설정하고 특정 POA에 집중된 Servant들을 로드 밸런스를 한다. 이를 통해 임베디드환경에 맞는 효과적인 CORBA POA를 구성할 수 있는 기법을 제안한다.

'세원' 왕포아 잔디(Poa pratensis L. 'Sewon')의 형태 및 생육특성 (Morphological and Growth Characteristics of Sewon Poa pratensis L.)

  • The research was carried out to define the morphological and growth characteristics of Poa pratensis L.(Kentucky bluegrass) 'Sewon' in native to Korea. Poa pratensis 'Sewon' was collected at the terrace land on the river in Guiman-ri, Cheongcheon-myeon, Goesan-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do on May 5, 1995. The collected Poa pratensis 'Sewon' was grown under non-mowing naturally growing condition. The morphological characteristics of Poa pratensis 'Sewon' are as follows. : The height of plant was 21.6cm but was increased to 33cm at the flowering time. The height of first node from the base was 5.0cm and the length and width of leaf were 9.6cm and 4.1cm, respectively. The length of inflorecences was 37.8cm and the length of a spike was 7.3cm. Based on these morphological characteristics, Poa pratensis 'Sewon' was defined to dwarf~medium and coarse texture type Kennturky bluegrass. 1 to 9 scale of visual quality, visual color and visual density were measured. Poa pratensis 'Sewon' showed best turf qualities among native Kentucky bluegrasses. In spring and fall growing season, Poa pratensis 'Sewon' were measured to be excellent performances for turf qulities similar to foreign excellent quality cultivars such as Midnight, Nuglade and Brilliant Kentucky bluegrasses. But turf quality of Poa pratensis 'Sewon' decreased by plant disease according to temperature increase in summe compared to foreign excellent quality cultivars. So, Poa pratensis 'Sewon' should be improved of disease tolerent quality by incessant breeding work in order to compete foreign excellent quality cultivars.

한국산 포아풀속(Poa L.)의 소수 형태에 의한 분류학적 연구 (A taxonomic study on the spikelet morphology of Korean Poa L. (Poaceae))

  • 본 연구는 국내산 포아풀속(Poa L.) 17분류군에 대하여, 화서, 소수(spikelet)의 형태, 소화축(rachilla), 포영(glume), 호영(lemma), 내영(palea) 등의 소수의 외부형태학적 형질을 관찰하였다. 소수의 무성아(bulbil) 유무, 화서의 돌기 유무, 호영 기반(callus)의 털 유무 그리고 내영 표면의 털, 유두상 및 자상 돌기의 유무는 아속을 구분하는 형질로, 내영 용골(keel)의 유무, 내영 용골의 털 유무, 제1포영(lower glume) 맥수, 호영 측맥(lateral nerve)의 뚜렷함은 절을 구분하는 형질로, 소화의 개수, 소화축의 유무, 제1포영 맥수, 포영 맥 위의 자상돌기의 유무, 호영 표면의 털과 유두상 및 자상돌기의 유무 등은 종의 식별형질로서 가치를 지니는 것으로 판단되었다. 따라서 한국산 포아풀속 17분류군은 3아속(Ochlopoa, Poa, Stenopoa) 7절(Arenariae, Ochlopoa, Homalopoa, Poa, Pandemos, Tichopoa, Stenopoa)로 정리되었으며, 기존 분류체계에 포함되어 있지 않은 6분류군중 P. ullungdoensis(울릉포아풀), P. takeshimana(섬포아풀), P. matsumurae(가는포아풀)의 3분류군은 Poa아속 Poa절, P. nipponica(큰꾸러미풀), P. radula(좀꾸러미풀)의 2분류군은 Poa아속 Homalopoa절, P. viridula(청포아풀)은 Stenopoa아속 Stenopoa절에 속하였다. 또한 P. nemoralis(선포아풀)은 기존에 Stenopoa아속 Stenopoa절에 속하였지만 Poa아속의 특징을 보여 Poa아속 Poa절에 옮겨져야 한다고 판단되었다. 그리고 1955년 신종으로 발표된 P. ullungdoensis(울릉포아풀)은 최근까지 그 실체가 불분명하였으나, 본 연구에서 그 실체를 확인하였다.

입원 시 상병의 수집 및 활용에 관한 보건의료정보관리사의 관점: 질적 연구 (Perceptions of Hospital Health Information Managers Regarding Present on Admission Indicators in Korea: A Qualitative Study)

  • Purpose: This qualitative study was conducted to examine the current status and problems concerning the collection of present on admission (POA) indicators and determine how to use these indicators for evaluating the quality of care and degree of patient safety. Methods: A total of 11 health information managers were divided into two groups according to the size of their hospitals. Two focus group discussions (FGDs) were conducted, one for each group, which followed a pre-developed semi-structured guideline. The verbatim transcriptions of the FGDs were analyzed. Results: The majority of participants were concerned about entering POA flags honestly because they did not know how future POA indicators would be used. In particular, for some participants, POA N was a burden that could imply a signal of mismanagement within the medical institution. In addition, the lack of awareness and indifference of physicians regarding POA indicators were some of the difficulties for POA flag entry. Although medical institutions are making efforts to improve the accuracy of POA flagging, many participants mentioned the need to develop real case-oriented POA entry guidelines to improve the accuracy of POA flagging. Conclusion: To increase the validity of POA indicators, it is necessary to increase the level of awareness of POA indicators in physicians and other medical professionals. Furthermore, efforts related to POA indicators by individual medical institutions need to be reflected in the process evaluation.

켄터키블루그래스와 토끼풀 간 혼합파종 비율에 따른 초기 생육 특성 (Characteristics of Initial Growth on Kentucky bluegrass (Poa patensis) and white clover (Trifolium repens) by Mixed Sowing Rates)

  • This study has been conducted to investigate the appropriate mixed sowing rates with white clover (Trifolium repens) and Kentucky bluegrass (Poa pratensis) by evaluating initial growth. Six different mixed sowing rates (CT, Control Trifolium repens; CP, Control Poa pratensis; T1P3, Trifolium repens 1 : Poa pratensis 3; T1P2, Trifolium repens 1 : Poa pratensis 2; T1P1, Trifolium repens 1 : Poa pratensis 1; T2P1, Trifolium repens 2 : Poa pratensis 1; T3P1, Trifolium repens 3 : Poa pratensis 1) with three repetitions were implemented in greenhouse experiment plastic pots (50.5 length × 35.0 width × 8.5 cm height). Plant height, leaf length, leaf width, number of leaves, root length, fresh weight, and dry weight were measured after a week from the germination for three months. Initial growth of Kentucky bluegrass significantly increased as mixed sowing rates with increasing, while that of white clover kept relatively decreasing than that in Control. Initial growth strongly affected sowing mixed rates by Kentucky bluegrass and not by white clover in this experiment, indicating that grasses played a dominant role during initial growth period. However, seeding rates with white clover will be dependent on the use of a turf and the desired green cover. There remains a need to further study of the mechanisms and dynamics of legume and grass competition to underpin sustainable management practices.

Strength and chloride penetration of Portland cement mortar containing palm oil fuel ash and ground river sand

  • This paper presents a study of the strength and chloride penetration of blended Portland cement mortar containing ground palm oil fuel ash (POA) and ground river sand (GS). Ordinary Portland cement (OPC) was partially replaced with POA and GS. Compressive strength, rapid chloride penetration test (RCPT) and chloride penetration depth of mortars were determined. The GS only asserted the packing effect and its incorporation reduced the strength and the resistance to chloride penetration of mortar. The POA asserted both packing and pozzolanic effects. The use of the blend of equal portion of POA and GS also produced high strength mortars, save cost and excellent resistance to chloride penetration owing to the synergic effect of the blend of POA and GS. For chloride depth, the mathematical model correlates well with the experimental results. The computer graphics of chloride depth of the ternary blended mortars are also constructed and can be used to aid the understanding and the proportioning of the blended system.

영어 어말 폐쇄음 파열 유무에 따른 위치성 및 유.무성성 인식에 관한 연구 (A study on the perception of POA and voicing in relation to the release and nonrelease in the English word-final stops)

  • This study reveals the perceptual role of stop release burst to Koreans' recognition of POA(place of articulation) and voicing in the English word-final stops. 10 Korean subjects participated in a perception experiment wherein the stimuli are prepared on the basis of the amount of acoustic information, which includes the release burst. The result shows that i) release burst plays an important role in the recognition of POA in the order of velar, alveolar, and bilabial stops, and ii) the release burst more enhances the correct recognition of voiceless stops than that of voiced stops. This result leads us to conclude that the role of stop release burst differs with respect to the POA and voicing of the stops, and it is possibly related to the different intensity of release in voicing and in each POA.

새포아풀 방제를 위한 Roundup Ready Bentgrass의 개발 (Development of Roundup Ready Bentgrass for the Control of Poa annua)

  • 애뉴얼 블루그래스는 골프장에서 방제하기가 대단히 어려운 잡초이다. 방제가 어려운 이유로는 애뉴얼 블루그래스의 경우 불량환경에서도 왕성하게 종자생산을 할 수 있는 특성과 또한 낮은 예초환경에서도 적응력이 있기 때문이다. 하지만 무엇보다도 유전적으로 다양성이 있기 때문에 골프장의 잔디에 비해 우점할 수 있는 것이다. 일반적으로 애뉴얼 블루그래스는 일년생 한지형 잔디로, 생육형은 주형이다. 하지만 포복경이 있어 다년생의 특성을 갖는 생태형이 다른 애뉴얼 블루그래스도 있다. 골프장에서 애뉴얼 블루그래스 방제를 위해 화학적 방법과 재배적 방법에 관한 수많은 연구가 지난 85년간 진행되었다. 연구결과 일부 종류의 애뉴얼 블루그래스 방제에 성공적인 결과도 있지만, 모든 종류의 애뉴얼 블루그래스 방제에 성공적인 방법은 아직 없는 실정이다. 이 모든 방제 방법들 중에 Roundup ready creeping bentgrass의 사용은 다양한 종류의 새포아풀을 방제 할 수 있다. Roundup readgy bentgrass는 Roundup에 내성이 있어 약해 피해 없이 생존이 가능하다. 따라서 골프장에서 이 새로운 기술을 활용하면 새포아풀이 없는 그린, 티, 훼어웨이를 유지할 수 있다.

한국 미기록 벼과식물: 성긴포아풀 (An unrecorded species from Korea: Poa tuberifera Faurie ex Hack. (Poaceae))

  • 국내 미기록 식물인 성긴포아풀(Poa tuberifera Faurie ex Hack.)을 제주도 제주시 조천읍 사려니숲에서 확인하였다. 근연분류군인 실포아풀(P. acroleuca Steud.)과 마디포아풀(P. acroleuca var. submoniliformis Makino)에 비해 화서에 소수가 성기게 달리고, 호영 기반에 털이 없는 특징으로 구별된다. 성긴포아풀은 일본의 고유종으로 알려져 있으나, 국내분포가 이번 연구에서 밝혀졌다.
