A Study on Data Recording and Play Method between Tactical Situations to Ensure Data Integrity with Data Link Processor Based on Multiple Data Links (다중데이터링크 기반에서 데이터링크 처리기와의 데이터 무결성 보장을 위한 전술상황전시기 간 데이터 기록 및 재생 방법 연구)

  • Recently, the high performance of tactical situation display console and tactical data links are used to integrate the operational situations in accordance with information age and NCW (Network Centric Warfare). The tendency to maximize the efficiency of task execution has been developed by sharing information and the state of the battle quickly through complex and diverse information exchange. Tactical data link is a communication system that shares the platform with core components of weapons systems and battlefield situation between the command and control systems to perform a Network Centric Warfare and provides a wide range of tactical data required for decision-making and implementation.It provides the tactical information such as tactical information such as operational information, the identification of the peer, and the target location in real time or near real time in the battlefield situation, and it is operated for the exchange of mass tactical information between the intellectuals by providing common situation recognition and cooperation with joint operations. In this study, still image management, audio file management, tactical screen recording and playback using the storage and playback, NITF (National Imagery Transmission Format) message received from the displayer integrates the tactical situation in three dimensions according to multiple data link operation to suggest ways to ensure data integrity between the data link processor during the entire operation time.

A Study on Playback of Ship Collision Accident Using Free Running Model Test (자유항주 모형시험을 활용한 선박 충돌사고 재현에 관한 연구)

  • According to Korea Maritime Safety Tribunal, there have been 14,100 maritime accidents from 2017 to 2021. Among those accidents, ship collision accidents have been up to 1,275 cases. But in the accidents relating to small ships like a fishing vessel, analyzing the causes of the accidents would depend on statements of the persons related because there is often no navigational data. But those statements can be incorrect and give rise to disagreements between them so that it causes conflicts with each other during the trial. So a replay system of ship collision accident (RESCA) has been developed in order to reproduce the ship collision accident by using AIS, V-PASS or radar data. But the reproduced trajectory of ship collision accident is needed to be verified because it can be unreasonable physically. So a method to verify the reproduced trajectory and collect the physical data on ship collision accident is newly designed by using free running test. In the RESCA, the accident is reproduced using the navigational data from the trajectory for a ship and measured from free running model test for the other ship at the same time. Through free running test, the behavior of the model ship is transformed from model scale into real scale. In order to check into the accuracy of the new method, free running model tests by using RESCA are carried out on the actual ship collision accidents.

  • 본 논문에서는 우주전파를 VLBI 관측시스템으로 관측한 후 고속으로 저장/재생하기 위한 시스템 구축에 관해 소개한다. 한국천문연구원에서는 2001년부터 국내 유일의 VLBI관측 시스템으로써 한국우주전파관측망(Korean VLBI Network; KVN)을 구죽하고 있다. KVN에서는 1Gsps/2bit 우주전파를 샘플링하는 샘플러와 디지털필터로 구성된 자료획득 시스템(Data Acquisition System; DAS)을 갖출 예정이다. 관측된 우주전파는 샘플러와 DAS를 통하여 처리된 데이터를 1Gbps이상의 속도로 기록된다. 본 논문에서는 1Gbps급의 대용량 데이터를 처리할 수 있는 시스템으로써 Mark5B 시스템의 구축과 시스템 구성, VSI-H, 시스템 운용 및 실험결과 등에 대해서 기술하고자 한다.

  • 해상교통관제시스템(Vessel Traffic System: VTS)에서는 해상 사건/사고를 사후 확인하거나 해상 교통량 확인을 위해 사용하기 위한 목적으로 VTS에서 발생하는 데이터를 저장 및 관리한다. 특정 지역에 대한 장시간 교통량 확인에서는 녹화된 재생 데이터를 고속 배속으로 실행시켜 살펴보는 것이 시간 단축에 큰 도움이 된다. 그런데 일반 영상이 아닌 VTS 서브 시스템간 주고 받은 메시지와 영상이 포함된 VTS 녹화재생에서는 고속 배속을 지원하는데 자연스럽지 않은 문제점이 발생하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 VTS 녹화재생 기능이 고속 배속을 지원하기 위해 필요한 요구사항을 분석한다.

  • 최근 조선분야의 경우 생산원가의 절감, 품질의 고급화, 단순작업에 대한 근로기피 등의 이유로 로봇시스템 적용에 대한 필요성이 크게 대두되고 있다. 그러나 기존의 로봇 시스템의 교시방식이 교시-재생(Teaching-Playback)방식이어서 작업부재의 형상 및 치수가 매번 변경되는 중공업 분야에서는 적용이 불가능하였다. 본 연구에서는 조선용 아크용접 로봇을 위한 오프라인 프로그램밍(OLP: Off-Line Programming) 시스템을 개발하였다. 오프라인 프로그램밍 시스템의 경우 작업중인 로봇과는 상관없이 다음 부재에 대한 형상 데이터만을 이용하여 컴퓨터상에서 다음 작업프로그램을 미리 생성할 수 있으므로 기존의 온라인 교시-재생 방식의 교시시간의 과다라는 문제를 극복할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 강교 판넬 및 조선 소조립용으로 개발 중인 아크용접용 로봇 시스템을 위한 오프라인 프로그래밍 시스템을 개발하였다. CAD 데이터나 OLP의 모델링 기능으로 작업부재를 형상한 후 미리 데이터베이스화 되어 있는 자료를 검색하여 부위별 작업매크로 확보를 위하여 실제 로봇 시스템을 이용한 작업테스트를 수행하였다. 개발된 오프라인 프로그래밍 시스템은 기능보완 후 당사 아크용접용 로봇시스템에 적용될 계획이다.

  • UPnP AV Framework automatically integrates and manages various AV devices that are connected to network as an important component in home network. Therefore, user can access and control AV contents at any time. But, other existing home entertainment systems target multimedia service support that is based on multimedia home server system. In this paper, we propose an integrated home entertainment system (u-MUSE system) that supports remote control service. It can manage application in remote AV device or control AV contents directly in home network environment. The proposed system sufficiently performs role of control center for electronic devices in home via integrated system control and AV contents playback service.

  • Among the methods of developing tourist spots and culture as the experience contents, it is a common method to display high-quality video images on a large display, and it is necessary to make a special difference between the participant's active participation and the visual experience in other regions. In this paper, using the single molecular OLED and active type, the regional tourist spots blend transparent OLED dual-layer display systems with the extended image implementation and augmented interaction techniques to give the participants a real-world experience, such as directing to new experiences and beautiful sights. In this paper, additional images and UI layers are applied to the layers of the images to allow visitors to experience sightseeing information, weather, maps, accommodations, festivals and photo materials with image. In addition to the dual-layer system, it also added a multi-display system that additionally has one vertical 55-inch display on each side, adding to the experience the immersive experience and interface interlocking fun. By using transparent OLED, dual layer panel and 3-channel Multi-image playback technique, the augmented type experience contents which can experience the local attractions in Jeollanamdo province in Korea at all time without any limitation of time and space were developed.

  • This paper describes the implementation of a RTSP-based MPEG-4 streaming system. The implemented system consists of content authoring tool, streaming server and streaming client. The existing MPEG-4 multiplexer has been modified with improvement to generate a file format with which the server load and streaming delay are reduced. The streaming system uses RTSP, instead of DMIF, as its communication protocol. With RTSP, the server provides extensive control functionalities as in DMIF and its implementation effort is greatly simplified. The implemented system supports the user interactivity for both streaming and local file playback. The effectiveness of the proposed multiplexing scheme has been validated with the various experiments on the fully functional server.

  • Avionics system tends to be designed to have the integrated architecture, and it is getting difficult and complex to verify the flight-critical function because of sophisticated structure. In Korean Utility Helicopter, mission computer acts as the MUX Bus Controller to handle the data from both communication, identification, mission/display and survivability equipment inside Mission Equipment Package and aircraft subsystems such as fuel system and electrical system while it is interfacing with Automatic Flight Control System and Full-Authority Digital Engine Control via ARINC-429 bus. The Flight Displays which is classified as flight-critical function in aircraft is implemented on Primary Flight Display after mission computer processes data from AFCS in order to generate graphics. This paper defines the flight-critical function implemented in mission computer for KUH, and presents the static and dynamic test procedures which is performed on System Integration Laboratory along with Playback Recorder prior to flight test.

  • This paper analyzes metadata workflow from creation to browsing, and discusses metadata authoring and browsing technology. Unlike usual multimedia authoring, broadcast metadata authoring means metadata editing synchronized with video. In order to make practical application of other systems, the result is in XML or MXF(Material eXchange Format) based on common metadata scheme. The MXF Browser developed with the consideration of broadcast metadata that is time-synchronized with AV content provides not only metadata authoring capability but also advanced content browsing services such as summary playback and highlight browsing based on metadata multi-track.
