  • The platform screen door(PSD) hasn't been installed yet within the manual operation system, that is, ATS & ATC Signal system. In other countries, it is mostly installed and operated within automatic operation system, that is, ATO. Especially, as a part of the environment friendly system installation, the installation of PSD shall be considered aggressively to improve the air quality in the underground area and to maintain the air-conditioning. Besides the number of suicides in the subway station gets increased these days causing safety hazard, so the installation of PSD is positively reviewed. To install PSD in the manual operation system, it is important to stop the train at the correct position. So we would like to suggest the technical system thereby.

  • 지하철 스크린도어(PSD)에서 발생할 수 있는 안전사고 예방을 위한 영상처리 알고리듬을 제안한다. 우선 지하철 스크린도어 영상에 대해 에지를 검출 하고, 사람의 스크린도어 접근 여부를 판단하기 위해 호프변환을 이용하여 직선을 검출한다. 이를 위해 스크린도어 경계면에 일직선을 긋고 이 직선의 끊김 여부로 사람의 접근을 판단한다. 일반적으로 에지는 영상의 가장 기본적인 특징을 나타내며, 에지 검출은 영상처리 및 컴퓨터 비전 분야에서 매우 중요하다. 에지 검출 방법에는 로버츠, 소벨, 프리윗, 라플라시안 등 고정된 값의 마스크를 사용하는 방법과 영상을 형태학적 관점에서 접근하여 처리하는 모폴로지 방법 및 캐니에지 검출 방법 등이 있다. 본 논문에서는 캐니에지 검출방법과 호프변환을 이용하여 지하철 스크린도어에서 사람의 접근 여부에 대한 감지 알고리듬을 제안하고 실제 그 결과를 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션으로 나타내었다.

  • Many casualties are being occurred due to many misses the railway platform, and the accident occurrence is being increased. Recently in Korea, efforts to prevent casualties fundamentally are being made by installing and operating the PSD(Passenger Screen Door) as to prevent these casualties of passengers. However, in case of the PSD system, although it can solve the problem of public casualties at platform fundamentally, it is impossible to install it at whole railway platforms. This paper proposes the safety equipment using LaserRadar sensor for the prevention against casualties of passengers at platform. The safety equipment using novel sensor is the safety equipment making an approaching train stopped if the falling object is a person by detecting the obstacle at platform, and it has the merit possible to apply it to platform since it may detect accurately under ambient environmental elements such as the snow, rain and yellow dust, etc. also. We manufactured a prototype of the safety equipment to reduce public casualties at platform by using LaserRadar sensor and carried out its performance test, and the result is presented in this paper.

  • This paper focused on the ways of disater prevention and risk analysis of the passengers setting up the hypothesis when urban rapid transit broke out fire in subway tunnel which is PSD(Platform Screen Door) installed environment. compared the flud dynamic changes and evacuation specifications whether PSD being installed or not, tried to search the effective ways for sustaining passengers safety.

  • A PSD system has a lot of characteristic for safety. Trust of performance test is very important. But PSD performance test has an effect on trust by proficiency of test staff because it is difficult to automate. In that specially the effort test, manual opening and shutting test and abrasion measurement, test staff is demanded for proficiency. Therefore the paper repeated measurement in same condition and studied proficient factor of examiner according to increased measurement counter. As a result, measurement uncertainty has improved.

도시철도 승강설비의 가용성, 유지보수성 및 안전성 입증 (Validation of Availability, Maintainability and Safety for Subway Elevating Equipment)

  • Purpose: In order to fulfill the RAMS (Reliability Availability Maintainability and Safety) requirements in Korean railway systems, specific target metrics should be measured and met the requirements when ordering a new system. This paper presents a procedure to predict and demonstrate the availability, maintainability and safety of subway elevators, escalators and PSD (platform screen doors) systems. Methods: The system manufacturer predicts availability and maintainability with lab and field tested data. After installation, availability and maintainability are demonstrated based on the actual operational data. The data was collected from the FRACAS (Failure Report and Corrective Action System). Results: Methods and process of assessing and analyzing the availability, maintainability and safety are presented for elevating services and PSD systems. The data obtained through the actual operation of the equipment is analyzed and maintained to predict the RAMS based on the component and system level failure data acquired. Conclusion: This study presented an application using IEC 62278 and operational data which can be used in the design and development stage to achieve the RAMS target value of the subway elevators, escalators and PSD systems.

Although this PSD can solve the problem of public casualties at platform fundamentally, it is impossible to install it at whole station buildings since its installation cost is high, and in case of the ground station building of general railway whose operation speed is higher, installation of PSD is impossible due to the characteristics of railway system.   • 본 논문에서는 하이브리드 궤도회로를 이용한 정위치 정차시스템에 대한 가능성에 대해 연구하였다. 하이브리드 궤도회로는 UHF대역의 RFID시스템을 이용하고 실시간 운영체제를 기반으로 철도차상시스템과의 통신이 가능한 차세대 철도신호시스템의 한 부분이다. 본 논문에서 사용된 UHF대역 RFID 시스템은 원형편파의 태그와 리더 안테나가 사용되고 일체형 리더기는 송신출력 25dBm에서 우수한 인식회수를 얻었다. 현재 수동운행중인 지하철 차량에 이 시스템을 적용하여 정위치 정차를 하게 되면 기존 수동운전에서 기관사의 실수로 역을 지나거나 PSD(Platform Screen Door)와 열차출입문이 Mismatch 되는 현상을 방지할 수 있다.

  • It followed in system development and SMRT(Seoul Metropolitan Rapid Transit Co)System reached to an automatic train operation(ATO) and driverless operation(DLM) from the manual operation due to the train driver. The train like the general bus or the car vehicle was not serial riding in a car and the Parallel concept which the numerous passenger rides in a car simultaneously occur frequently the charge of the train driver unmanned bitterly from existing manual handling was a possibility of doing, train open door control(ODM) which bites also ATO, it handles it minimized. Like this ATO/DLM, the control system which bites being a Wayside to Train communication for immediacy, it is a system of the Vital concept the immediacy of the citizen Data evil the radio information transmission and the train of the interface which is accurate from unmanned operation and, will decipher, will accomplish it will guarantee. It respects the passenger accident prevention and an air question environment improvement from subway platform and phul leys the screen door of Platform(PSD) with the fire tube frost it refers and part it treats and to sleep it does, ODM which bites is accuracy and immediacy of altitude and when seeing from the viewpoint which demands the trust of altitude, ODM system the trust of car incest interface in the equipment construction which is safe and the comparative analysis back of the system analysis against the control which bites and case study and other subway system it leads from the research which it sees and signal - train in base grudge to sleep it contributes it does.
