Engineering is a sector with more than three times the industrial effectiveness of manufacturing. In the domestic engineering life cycle, the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) phase is a relatively high level of technology. Based on accumulated knowledge of O&M phase, it is necessary to advance operating technology and expand overseas O&M market expenditure. This study is the early stage of knowledge-based power plant O&M service framework reference model. In this study, we propose a conceptual model of architecture framework for power plant O&M. We survey the architecture framework and reference model and propose conceptual model of architecture framework for power plant O&M. The conceptual model of architecture framework for power plant O&M consists of stakeholder, O&M scenario, O&M technology. In particular, the O&M technology is defined as the fourth industrial revolution intelligence information technology. We defined a meta model from the conceptual model to define the power plant O&M architecture framework. In the future, we intend to development an architecture framework from the conceptual model and meta model.
The ecotoxicological effects of nanomaterials on animal, plant, and soil microorganisms have been widely investigated; however, the nanotoxic effects of plant-soil interactive systems are still largely unknown. In the present study, the effects of ZnO nanoparticles (NPs) on the soil-plant interactive system were estimated. The growth of plant seedlings in the presence of different concentrations of ZnO NPs within microcosm soil (M) and natural soil (NS) was compared. Changes in dehydrogenase activity (DHA) and soil bacterial community diversity were estimated based on the microcosm with plants (M+P) and microcosm without plants (M-P) in different concentrations of ZnO NPs treatment. The shoot growth of M+P and NS+P was significantly inhibited by 24% and 31.5% relative to the control at a ZnO NPs concentration of 1,000 mg/kg. The DHA levels decreased following increased ZnO NPs concentration. Specifically, these levels were significantly reduced from 100 mg/kg in M-P and only 1,000 mg/kg in M+P. Different clustering groups of M+P and M-P were observed in the principal component analysis (PCA). Therefore, the M-P's soil bacterial population may have more toxic effects at a high dose of ZnO NPs than M+P's. The plant and activation of soil bacteria in the M+P may have a less toxic interactive effect on each of the soil bacterial populations and plant growth by the ZnO NPs attachment or absorption of plant roots surface. The soil-plant interactive system might help decrease the toxic effects of ZnO NPs on the rhizobacteria population.
With PV market extension, Operation & Maintenance (O&M) went on the floor as an effective method so solve the reduction phenomenon of Performance Ratio (PR) of PV power plant and as a new business model of photovoltaic industry. This study chose institutionalization of O&M to vitalize domestic photovoltaic industry improving level of photovoltaic technology and dominate the market in advance. The result of analyzing advanced researches and domestic cases indicates that O&M is essential of operating PV power plant, therefore, now is the time for a systematic approach to establish O&M policy.
Tomato seedlings (20- days old) were transplanted to infested soil with Orobanche cernua and non-infested soils. All plants were maintained under 0, 25, 50 and 75 mM NaCl soil salinity levels throughout their growing period under greenhouse conditions. Plants grown in O. cernua infested soil infIltrated with 0, 25, and 50 mM NaCl solution for salinity showed significant reduction in their growth as well as their total soluble carbohydrate and protein contents in compared with those grown in non-infested soil. However, under 75 mM NaCI salinity level all plants showed similar growth values whether they were grown in O. cernua infested or non-infested soil. Starting at the fifth and through out the eighth week after transplantation there was a significant increase in plant height in the 0, 25 and 50 mM NaCl irrigated plants over other treatments. Irrigation with 50 mM NaCl significantly reduced the emergence of O. cernua (2/plant) and the number of attachments (4.4 attachments) on roots of tomato. Furthermore, irrigation with 75 mM NaCl resulted in complete elimination of O. cernua emergence.

Colonization of Pseudomonas chlororaphis O6, a nonpathogenic rhizobacterium, on the roots induced systemic resistance in cucumber plants against tai-get leaf spot, a foliar disease caused by Corynespora cassiicola. A cDNA library was constructed using mRNA extracted from the cucumber leaves 12 h after inoculation with C. cassiicola, which roots had been previously treated with O6. To identify the genes involved in the O6-mediated induced systemic resistance (ISR), we employed a subtractive hybridization method using mRNAs extracted from C cassiicola-inoculated cucumber leaves with and without previous O6 treatment on the plant roots. Differential screening of the cDNA library led to the isolation of 5 distinct genesencoding a GTP-binding protein, a putative senescence-associated protein, a galactinol synthase, a hypersensitive-induced reaction protein, and a putative aquaporin. Expressions of these genes are not induced by O6 colonization alone. Before challenge inoculation, no increase in the gene transcriptions could be detected in previously O6-treated and untreated plants but, upon subsequent inoculation with the pathogenic fungus, transcription levels in O6-treated plants rose significantly faster and stronger than in untreated plants. Therefore, the O6-mediated ISR may be associated with an enhanced capacity for the rapid and effective activation of cellular defense responses which becomes apparent only after challenge inoculation on the distal, untreated plant parts, as suggested by Conrath et al. (2002). This work was supported by a grant R11-2001-092-02006-0 from the Korea Science and Engineering Foundation through the Agricultural Plant Stress Research Center at Chonnam National University.
The experiment was carried out to study the influence of planting densities and fertilizer application levels on some agronomic characters and yield of flower-head in Zingiber mioga ROSC. The results obtained are summarized as follows ; Plant hight was long in dense planting, and short in spacious planting. Stem diameter was thick in spacious planting, and was thin in dense planting. Flower-head weight per plant was decreased in dense planting and was increased in spacious planting. Yield was higher in dense planting densities (10$\times$20 : 50plants /m$^2$, 20$\times$20 : 25plant /m$^2$). Fertilizing (N : P$_2$O$_{5}$ : $K_2$O=15 : 15 : 15kg /10a) was increased than without fertilizing because plant height and number of stem was good.d.
This study was conducted to investigate the effect of growth regulators and $GeO_2$ on the induction and proliferation of callus and the effect of $GeO_2$ and citric acid on the Ge content of callus from explants and plant, Angelica koreana Max. The results obtained were summarized as follows. The callus induction was most effective on MS (Murashige and Skoog) medium containing 1. 0ppm 2, 4 - D with petiolule. The proliferation of callus was most effective at 2. 0ppm 2, 4 - D on the medium, at 2. 5ppm $GeO_2$ on the medium containing 2. 0ppm 2, 4 - D, and at $0.\;1{\sim}1mM$citric acid on the medium at pH6 containing 2. 0ppm 2, 4 - D and 2. 5ppm $GeO_2.$ The more $GeO_2$ in MS medium up to 20ppm, the more Ge content in callus. Ge content in callus was highest when the medium was supplemented with 0. 1mM citric acid and the pH of medium was low. The Ge content in plant was high in order of leaf > root > stem. Application $GeO_2$ to the soil increased Ge content in plant and application of 1mM citric acid with $GeO_2$ resulted in increasing Ge content highest in plant, but application more than l0mM citric acid resulted in Ge content decreased. Application of $GeO_2$ increased Ge content in callus and plant but had a tendency to decrease some mineral content, on the other hand application of $0.\;1{\sim}1mM$ citric acid with $GeO_2$ had a tendency to increase mineral content.
AlN plates were fabricated by hot pressing at $1700-1900^{\circ}C$ using yttria and alumina (3 and $10\;{\mu}m$ particle size) powders as additives and characterized: density, thermal conductivity, transverse rupture strength, and grain size measurement by SEM and EDS. Density values of $3.31-3.34\;g/cm^3$ are largely attributed to hot pressing of powder mixtures in carbon mold under $N_2$ atmosphere which caused effective degree of oxygen removal from yttrium-aluminate phase expected to form at $1100^{\circ}C$. The grain size of hot pressed AlN was almost homogeneous, with size approximately from 3.2 to $4.0\;{\mu}m$ after hot pressing. $Al_2O_3$ powder of $3\;{\mu}m$ particle size resulted in better transverse rupture strength and finer grain size compared to $10\;{\mu}m$$Al_2O_3$ powder. The thermal conductivity of AlN ranged between $83-92.7\;W/m{\cdot}K$ and decreased with $Al_2O_3$ addition. Fine grain size is preferred for better mechanical properties and thermal conductivity.
