지하 발전소 환기설비에 대한 안전성 평가 (The Safety Assessment for Ventilation Facilities of Underground Power Plant)

  • Underground power plant is required the strict safety management and safety assessment. Because it is the high risk of explosion by characteristic of enclosed space. In case gas leak of enclosed space, the ventilation facilities is very important in order to prevent explosion by the maintain less than the LEL(lower explosive limit). Thus, Through a safety assessment of ventilation volume is to reduce the risk for ventilation facilities in Underground power plant.

발전 설비 지속 가능 운영 기술 연구 (A Study of the Sustainable Operation Technologies in the Power Plant Facilities)

  • 연구목적: 노후화된 발전기의 지속 가능한 운영을 위하여 효율적이며, 안전한 운영이 중요하다. 효율적 운영이란 경제적 관점이며, 안전한 운영은 발전 설비의 치명적 사고 발생에 대한 발생 이전의 사전 조치를 말한다. 그러므로 발전기의 지속가능 운영 모니터링을 위하여 관련된 센서 설치와 이를 기반으로 지속 가능에 대한 예측할 수 있는 모델에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 연구방법: 전기와 열에 대한 수요 예측, 엔진의 성능과 이상을 탐지하는 예측, 그리고 재 난 안전에 대한 예측 모델을 제시하였다. 이를 위하여 필요한 센서를 정의하였으며, 이를 기반으로 예측 모델을 각각 개발하여 수행하였다. 연구결과: 수요 예측 모델은 기존의 79%에서 90% 이상으로 예측 정확도를 향상시켰으며, 다른 2개 모델도 시스템의 지속가능한 안정적 운영을 지원하였다. 결론: 노후화된 발전설비의 지속가능 운영을 지원하기 위한 3가지 종류의 예측 모델을 개발하고 이를 제이비주식회사의 발전 설비에 실제 적용하여 운영하고 있다.

Ansys를 활용한 플랜트 시설물 내화성능에 대한 해석적 연구 (Analytical Study of Fire Resistance Performance of Plant Facilities using Ansys)

  • 연구목적: 본 연구는 화재위험도가 높은 플랜트 시설물에 적용하고 있는 국내 내화성능을 분석하고 적합한 내화저항성능을 확보하여 플랜트 시설물의 화재 안전성을 확보하고자 한다. 연구방법:유한요소해석 프로그램인 Ansys를 활용하여 화재하중과 내화피복을 변수로 열전달 해석과 구조해석을 수행하고 해석 결과에 따른 플랜트 시설물의 내화성능을 분석하였다. 연구결과: 국내 플랜트 시설물에 적용된 내화피복은 UL 1709에 제시된 탄화수소화재의 화재하중을 적용하였을 때 내화성능을 확보하지 못하였으며 화재 후 강재의 변형 또한 크게 나타남을 확인하였다. 결론:현재 플랜트 시설물에 적용된 국내의 내화성능은 석유화학 플랜트 등과 같이 급격한 화재성장과 큰 화재하중에서 내화성능을 확보할 수 없으며 플랜트 시설물의 성능평가를 통해 적합한 내화성능을 평가하여 화재 안전성을 확보하여야 한다.

  • As a way of improving the safety of the chemical facilities, the risk based-inspection(RBI) was executed for the facilities of the applied petrochemical plant using KS-RBI Ver. 3.0 program developed based on the API-581 based resource document(BRD). From an evaluation result of KS-RBI program, we could find the evaluation of the process safety management(PSM) for the applied plant, risk of the applied process, risk of static facilities and pipes, and the demage mechanism of the facilities. Also, we could suggest a proper inspection plan(frequency and method of inspection) using the calculated risk and the status of the facilities. Therefore, the applied plant could be achieved a reduced inspection cost by an extension of inspection frequency, improved productivity, improved reliability of the facilities, and a computerized history management.

Application and Maintenance Strategies for Eco-Friendly Facilities in Landscape Trees Nurseries

  • Recently, as the number of landscaping plant nurseries have increased, environmental problems such as topographical damage due to indiscriminate changes in land use, increased non-point pollution, and increased impervious areas are also occurring. In this study, we propose eco-friendly facilities and a detailed maintenance manual that can enhance the eco-friendliness and scenic beauty of landscaping plant nurseries that are increasingly located near cities. By exploring previous reports on eco-friendly facilities and related laws, we cataloged the types of eco-friendly facilities, and by referring to examples of eco-friendly facilities introduced in overseas cases and the environmental functions of agriculture, we cataloged the types of eco-friendly facilities suitable for introduction in plant nurseries. The selected facilities are rain gardens, tree boxes, vegetated filter beds, bio-retention, infiltration trench, infiltration tanks, permeable pavements, and sand filtration systems. The maintenance tasks of eco-friendly facilities were categorized and management plans were proposed, which is expected to be utilized as a basic data to prepare eco-friendly space planning and operation management plans when creating a landscape plant nurseries in the future.

실내에서 식물과 수경시설이 온열환경에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Plants and Waterscape Facilities on the Thermal Indoor Environment)

  • This survey is to investigate the effect of plants and waterscape facilities on the thermal indoor environment and to provide basic data for proper plant cultivation to enhance indoor landscape. The survey of the measure of comfort on the indoor environment for the residents of Taegu shows that the measure of comfort on the thermal-environment, which consist of temperature and humidity, has more negative responses than the measure on lighting . are . sound environment, which consists of air freshness, lighting condition and sound environment. The experiments on the effect of the amount of leaves and the distance of plants on the indoor thermal-environment are made. The experimental results illustrate that, as the capacity of a plant becomes greater and the distance from the plant shorter, the falling effect of temperature and the rising effect of humidity on the top of the plant are taken higher than on the side of the plant. When the same amount of leaves is set up, the distance range of the rising effect of humidity becomes wider than that of the falling effect of temperature. The investigation of the effect of waterscape facilities on the indoor thermal-environment shows that temperature and humidity of the space with installed waterscape facilities are lower and higher than without facilities, respectively.

  • The current study relates to RADAR (RAdio Detection and Ranging) application for level measurement of vitrified radioactive liquid nuclear waste. The vitrification of radioactive liquid waste is carried out in special equipment called 'Melters'. The study is directed towards the design and frequency modulation used in the level measurement of vitrified waste. More specifically, the RADAR design and frequency used for level measurement in a melter. This level measurement technique can also be used for dynamic vitrification process and can be used to measure the level variations without using any external medium/material and using only electromagnetic waves. Also, this technique is durable and accurate even under the high radioactive environment present inside the melter.

  • As power plant facilities are being deteriorated, their safety is getting more important, and more routine surveillance is being required. For this purpose, this paper presents an indoor localization system for field robot system which performs the surveillance of power plant facilities instead of human workers from the viewpoint of the workers' safety and work efficiency.

  • The purpose of this study is to provide the problems of insurance system of maritime facilities(Gas Plant) in korea. In order to find out the problems of insurance system of construction work, the literature research and case study on the maritime facility construction are adopted as research method. And this study analyzed the construction cases of maritime facilities(Gas Plant) to which the national contract law was applied for the first time. The findings of this study are as follows: In the case analysis of 00 facility construction, the contractor pay additional insurance fees for the construction. And the regulations on insurance registration are not stated clearly relating to the enforcement ordinance of the national contract law.

  • 최근 들어 화력발전소는 잦은 기동과 부하 변동 하에서 안정적인 운전 및 관리에 대한 요구가 높아지고 있다. 특히 터빈, 보일러와 같이 고온 고압의 조건에서 운전되는 발전 설비의 경우 크리프 및 피로 손상의 영향으로 설비의 수명이 감소하게 된다. 보다 안전한 발전소 운영을 위해 설비의 정확한 수명평가가 중요하며 현재까지 다양한 방법이 개발되어 적용되고 있다. 그러나 현재까지는 표준화된 가이드라인이나 절차 없이 정성적/준정량적 분석에 의해 주요 설비의 수명을 평가하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 크리프 및 피로 손상기구에 근거하여 국내 화력발전 주요 설비의 수명 소비율을 평가하는 표준화된 기준을 개발하였고 실제 설비에 적용하여 평가 기준의 활용성을 검증하였다. 본 기준은 2010 전력기술기준에 수록될 예정으로 수명평가의 정확성 향상과 수명관리 표준화에 기여할 것이다.
