치기공과 실습 중 안전사고 실태 조사 Ⅰ (Accidents research Ⅰ for the college students in their Dental Laboratory Technology-major classes)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify injury characteristics happened in the college dental laboratory technique classes and to provide the empirical accident findings for safety education development for the college dental technology classes. The research data were collected from a self-administered survey distributed to the conveniently selected college students. The study participants were 476 freshmen, sophomore and junior students whose major was the dental laboratory technology of the 4 colleges in 2 metropolitan cities and 2 medium-size cities. All collected survey responses were encoded and analyzed in SPSS 12.0. The findings were as follows. The accidents happened to the college students during the dental laboratory technology classes: 1. The accident rate was the highest in the sophomore and the freshmen, junior in order. 2. The body parts frequently injured were hands, face, eyes, arms, and legs in order. 3. The frequent injury types were cut, burnt, stuck, wound, and suffocated in order. 4. The treatment methods for their accidents were the simple first-aids, no treatment, and the emergency room visits in order. 5. The laboratory training conditions inducing the accidents were significantly frequent under wire-related, and wax-related, iron-related, alcohol-related jobs in order, but not frequent in investing material-related, porcelain-related, resin-related, and agar-related jobs. Polishing was the most accident-prone job explaining 63% of the laboratory accidents and then, model producing, wax patterning, casting, burning, and investing jobs in order. In summary, the college dental laboratory accidents had the certain patterns by the training level and by the material or machine involved in each class. Thus, the planned and organized safety education programs should be produced and investigated for college students before their major laboratory classes.

청소년대상 영상매체 성교육자료분석 -비디오를 중심으로- (An Analysis of Sexual Health Education for Korean Adolescents)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide fundamental information for the development of new sex education image media through the analysis of those tools produced by Planned Parenthood Federation of Korea. Twenty three video tapes related to the sex education were analysed. The data were sampled on the basis of the sex education instructions for primary and secondary schools published by the Seoul Office of Education in 1996 and the list of sex education information composed by the Planned Parenthood Federation of Korea with the following requirements. 1) The education materials are oriented to the middle and high school students as well a juveniles and are being used in public health centers and schools. 2) The education materials are not confined to the single subject such as AIDS or contraception. Because this study is focused on the analysis of image media, an analysis method widely and effectively used in public media study was chosen. The frequency analysis and percentage treatment were done by an SAS program. The results of the study are as follows : 1. An analysis of the material structure type showed that the frequency of the following subjects in 15 video tapes, composed as drama and cartoon, had this decreasing orde : sex behavior, sex relation ships, sex health, human development, personal technique, and society and culture. 2. The eight tapes of explanation and counseling showed a different sequence from that of the drama and cartoon material, primarily treating human development with 5419 seconds (47.9%) of type. The following were also considered in decreasing order: at 2000seconds (17.6%) sex behavior, at 1366 seconds (12.1%) sex health, at 1240 seconds (11.0%) society and culture, at 667 seconds (6.0%) relation ships, and at 611 seconds (5.4%) personal technique. 3. In a thematic analysis those education materials dealing with human development show this frequency sequence: anatomic physiology, reproduction, and adolescence. In relation, ships the sequence is dates, love, marriage and vows, and family. For personal technique, it is expressed as asking for help, and an empnasis on moral values. For sex behavior, they focus on abstinence, the co-responsibility of sex behavior, the sexual response of the human, and sexual nightmares. For the sex health area, the focus is contraception with abortion and reproductive health following that. In society and culture diversity is considered. 4. An analysis of the differences in production and content between 1980s and 1990s was also done. For materials produced in the 1980s the frequency of the subjects follows this order: sex behavior, human development, relation ships, sex health, personal technique, and society and culture with sub subjects such as abstinence, dating, adolescence, anatomic physiology, reproduction, calls for help, and the sexual response of a human being. For materials produced in the 1990s, highest frequency was sex behavior, the same as the 1980s. The rest of the material follows this decreasing order: relationships, human development, sex health, society and culture, and personal technique with sub subjects such as dating, co-resposibility in sex behavior, abstinence, and love frequently considered.

Calibration and Validation Activities for Earth Observation Mission Future Evolution for GMES

  • Calibration and Validation are major element of any space borne Earth Observation Mission. These activities are the major objective of the commissioning phases but routine activities shall be maintained during the whole mission in order to maintain the quality of the product delivered to the users or at least to fully characterise the evolution with time of the product quality. With the launch of ERS-l in 1991, the European Space Agency decided to put in place a group dedicated to these activities, along with the daily monitoring of the product quality for anomaly detection and algorithm evolution. These four elements are all strongly linked together. Today this group is fully responsible for the monitoring of two ESA missions, ERS-2 and Envisat, for a total of 12 instruments of various types, preparing itself for the Earth Explorer series of five. other satellites (Cryosat, Goce, SMOS, ADM-Aeolus, Swarm) and at various levels in past and future Third Party Missions such as Landsat, J-ERS, ALOS and KOMPSAT. The Joint proposal by the European Union and the European Space Agency for a 'Global Monitoring for Environment and Security' project (GMES), triggers a review of the scope of these activities in a much wider framework than the handling of single missions with specific tools, methods and activities. Because of the global objective of this proposal, it is necessary to put in place Multi-Mission Calibration and Validation systems and procedures. GMES Calibration and Validation activities will rely on multi source data access, interoperability, long-term data preservation, and definition standards to facilitate the above objectives. The scope of this presentation is to give an overview of the current Calibration and Validation activities at ESA, and the planned evolution in the context of GMES.

중학교 과학수업에서 형성평가의 실제 - 구성주의적 관점에서의 형성평가를 중심으로 - (The Characteristics of Formative Assessments Practiced in Middle School Science Teaching from a Constructivist Perspective)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 실제 과학수업에서 형성평가가 어떻게 이루어지고 있는지를 파악하는 것이었다. 이를 위하여 중학교 과학수업을 관찰, 녹화하였으며, 교사와 학생을 대상으로 면담을 실시하였다. 수업 중 형성평가가 실제로 어떻게 이루어지는가를 관찰한 결과, 형성평가는 계획된 형성평가, 상호작용 형성평가, 계획된 형성평가에서 상호작용 형성평가로의 전환으로 구분되었다. 교사들은 형성평가를 통하여 개인적 발달, 사회적 발달, 과학적 발달을 평가하였으며, 과학적 발달은 내용평가, 과정평가, 상황평가로 구분되었다. 수업 중 이루어지는 대부분의 평가는 과학적 발달평가였으며, 그 중에서도 내용평가에 치중되어 이루어졌다. 형성평가가 이루어지는 과정은 정보얻기, 판단하기, 피드백하기로 구분되었고, 이 세 과정은 서로 밀접하게 관련되며 순환적으로 이루어졌다. 또한 교사의 질문유형과 피드백의 유형은 교사와 학생의 수업 중 상호작용 정도에 영향을 미쳤다. 위의 결과는 과학 수업에서 형성평가가 학생들의 다양한 측면을 평가할 수 있어야 하며, 상호작용이 보다 활발히 일어날 수 있도록 정보를 얻는 방법, 피드백을 하는 방법 등에 있어서 보다 많은 연구와 전략의 개발이 필요함을 시사해준다.

경인 아라뱃길 친수경관 기본설계 (Landscape Design of Gyeong-In Ara Waterway)

  • 본 연구에서는 국내 최초 운하인 경인 아라뱃길의 친수공간에 대한 설계전략과 내용에 대해 언급하고자 하며, 대상지가 갖는 지리적 특성, 경관적 가치, 효율적 접근성을 설계의 주요 인자로 삼으며, 새로운 뱃길경관을 창출하는데 주안점을 두었다. 서해바다에서 한강으로 경인 아라뱃길의 물길을 따라 형성되는 수변의 주요 공간계획으로써 뱃길을 따라 경관적 거점으로 수향팔경을 계획하였고, 주운수로를 따라 인천에서 김포까지 연결되는 2차선의 경관도로인 파크웨이를 조성하여 선형의 녹지축과 다양한 친수시설을 계획하였다. 그리고 주요 테마공간을 연결해 주는 산책로와 자전거도로를 계획하였으며, 자전거도로를 따라 수변 쌈지공원을 다양하게 구성하였다. 본 연구에서는 경인 아라뱃길로 인해 표출되는 새로운 수변공간을 환경 문화 레저 관광의 다원적 기능이 어우러지는 신 수변문화공간으로써 정체성을 갖도록 하였으며, 스토리텔링과 다양한 문화 컨텐츠 도입에 의한 운영프로그램을제시하였다.

인공위성 화상데이터를 이용한 북한 서해안지역의 농지기반조성 현황조사 (Survey for Farmland Development in Western Coast of North Korea Using Satellite Image Data)

  • 본 연구에서는 북한 서해안 지역의 농지기반조성현황을 조사하기 위하여 Landsat TM. JERS OPS, SPOT PAN데이터를 주로 사용하는 원격탐사기법과 시대별 진척상황을 추적하기 위하여 발행년도가 다른 지도 등을 이용하였다. 농업시설물을 판독하기 위하여 기하보정, 디지털 모자이킹 , 영상중합, 선형추출, 토지이용분류 등의 기법을 연구하였으며, 이를 응용하여 북한 서해안지역에 계획되어 있는 간척가능지구, 미완공간척지, 수리계획 등을 조사하였다. 확인된 간척가능 면적은 완공 또는 부분 완공되었거나 방조제노선이 계획된 지구를 합한 총면적이 177,766ha로서 북한이 발표한 30만 ha의 59%에 해당된다. 또한, 1994년도 『북한의 동향』에서 발표한 제3차 7개년 계획기간(1987-1993)에 북한정부가 추진한 총 면적 27,100ha의 간척지 개발면적을 조사한 결과, 기 개발된 면적 16,555 ha와 미완공 간척지면적 16,826 ha로 나타났다. 이들 간척지구는 해안지역에 위치하고 자체유역이 작아 용수가 부족한 실정으로 서해안으로 흐르는 압록강, 청천강, 대동강, 예성강 등으로부터 용수공급을 받는 2000리 물길사업과 연계되어 있으나 용수의 과부족은 검토를 요한다.

유아의 창의적 사고 프로그램의 개발 및 효과 (Development and Effects of a Child Creative Thought Program)

  • This research was carried out to develop a program that would promote children's creative thought processes and also to ascertain the effect on their development. The creative thought program consists of three stages : at the first stage, information for the development of the program was gathered and the theoretical basic model established. Considering Divergent and Feeling Factors, the program was planned based on the William's educational curriculum as it was applied and tested in an actual life situation. At the second stage, in order to formulate an activity plan for the creative thought program, William's activity plan was analyzed. At the third stage, the activities which would be applied to the creative thought program in the actual situation were considered with teaching strategy, activity arena and creative thought factors. In conclusion, according to these research results, children's creative thought programs should not just promote Divergent Factors or limited areas of activities, but other activities which include Feeling Factors should be planned and more diverse creative thought programs developed. To design an education program that encourages efficient creative thought, various teaching strategies in creative thought education need to be developed. Teacher training for current teachers should be conducted and parents who have the most direct influence of their children - be made aware of the creative thought process in children. It needs to be stated that this research on creative thought programs is not a complete program: it needs to be further adjusted and supplemented. As development of the tools to evaluate Feeling Factors objectively and the application on the program due to insufficient time, a more continuous application of the program and further research and evaluation of its effects are required.

계획개발된 단독주택지구의 주차문제에 대한 토지이용 원인 -강릉 교동2택지개발사업지구를 대상으로- (Cause of Land-use on the Parking Difficulties in the Planned Residential Area -Case Study of GyoDong 2 Land development District in GangNeung City-)

  • 본 연구는 계획적으로 조성된 단독주택지구의 주차부족을 야기하는 근본적 원인이 현실을 제대로 고려하지 못한 토지이용계획에 있음을 제기하고 이에 대한 개선방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 강릉시 교동2택지개발지구의 단독주택지구를 사례로 개발계획에 나타난 토지이용계획과 주차계획 등을 검토하였으며, 현장조사를 통해 토지이용현황과 주차실태를 조사하였다. 단독주택지구의 주차문제를 발생시키는 주요 요인으로는 현실을 제대로 반영하지 못한 토지이용계획에 있는데, 이는 주차수요가 과소 추정되고 주차장 공급이 부족한 결과를 낳았다. 또한 개발 이후의 토지이용과 주차에 대한 관리가 소홀했다는 점도 들 수 있다. 이와 같은 문제에 대한 개선방안으로는 토지이용계획 수립 시점부터 향후 토지이용 변화를 예측하여 적절한 토지이용계획 및 주차장 확보계획이 이루어져야 하며, 주차수요의 변화를 반영한 토지이용 관리가 이루어져야 할 것이다.

비전문가에 의해 계획된 건강주택 사례들에 나타난 특성연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Healthy Houses Planned and Built by Non-experts People)

  • As rapid aging society comes and people have growing interest in health, health issue has become an important value in modern society. The demand for healthy and comfortable residential environment has also increased and people themselves have made effort to build healthy residential environments. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to identify the characteristics of health housings planned and built by ordinary people. The study analyzed the contents of healthy houses that were broadcasted on TV with the title of healthy houses. Analyzed items were the planning elements and motives of building such healthy houses reflected in the samples of respective healthy houses. The result of the study revealed there were many examples of housings for healing purpose and the planning elements were in the order of architecture elements, natural elements, decoration elements, other elements and technical elements. While the experts usually put priority on technical elements for developing of healthy houses, ordinary people put priority on natural elements. This study comprehensively presents the overall characteristics of healthy houses which ordinary people pursue, on empirical basis. It is expected that this study will inspire to think about the desirable direction of healthy houses for the residents by comparing with or along with the concepts of housings that experts pursue.

일본 관동지방의 도시내 친자연공간 조성에 관한 사례연구(I) - 계획 및 관리 - (Study of Ddvdlopment of Ecological Urban Open Space in Eastern Area, Japan(I) - Planning and Management -)

  • 본 연구는 국내에서 도시내 친자연공간의 조성시 방향성을 제시하기 위한 연구로서 일본 관동지방을 대상으로 하였다. 대상지는 6개의 사업유형으로 분류되었으며 이들 사업의 입안 배경을 파악하였다. 각 대상지의 기본구상, 환경조건 및 생태적 조건조사, 계획 및 설계(zoning)과 이용계획, 목표설정 및 관리계획), 자연환경의 정비, 관리, 모니터링에 대한 내용 및 기법을 분석하였다. 도시내에 자연과의 접촉공간 창출을 위해 계획이 수립되었으며 비오톱조성기법에 의해 환경이설형, 환경창출형, 환경개량형을 기본으로 하였다. 또한 현 환경과 생태계를 보전하면서 새로운 비오톱을 창출하는 형태가 가장 많았으며 조성계획시 목표종의 설정은 조성방향성을 명확히 하는데 핵심적인 사항으로 판단되었다.
