리브를 갖는 FRP 판과 고인성섬유보강콘크리트로 이루어진 합성보의 파괴거동에 대한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study for Failure Behavior of Composite Beams with DFRCC and FRP Plank with Rib)

  • 고인성섬유보강콘크리트는 기존의 콘크리트에 비해 인성을 크게 개선한 재료로써, 콘크리트 구조물의 여러 분야에 적용 가능한 건설 신재료로 평가되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 고인성섬유보강콘크리트와 리브를 갖는 FRP 판을 인장 보강재 및 영구거푸집으로 활용한 합성보의 파괴거동에 관한 실험을 실시하였다. 비교를 위해 일반콘크리트와 PVA계열인 RF4000과 PP계열인 PP-macro의 섬유를 사용하였으며, 각각 RF4000+RSC15, PP-macro+RSC15를 혼입하여 합성보를 제작하여 실험하였다. FRP 판에 잔골재를 미부착한 경우는 보의 중앙에 발생한 휨 균열이 크게 벌어지면서 FRP 판과 콘크리트가 미끄러짐에 의한 파괴형태를 보여주고 있음으로 잔골재 부착은 필수적 사항이라 판단되며, 파괴모드에 대한 섬유보강재의 영향은 크지 않은 것으로 판단된다. FRP 판에 잔골재를 부착한 실험 결과는 1200, 2000mm 모두 콘크리트와 FRP 사이에 충분한 부착이 형성되었다. 일반콘크리트보다 섬유보강재를 혼입한 경우 최대 하중이 높게 나타났고, 그 중 PP계열의 섬유보강재를 혼입한 경우 최대 하중이 가장 높게 나타났다. 균열이 섬유보강재에 의해 지연되면서 FRP 리브와의 합성작용에 의해 발생한 것으로 판단된다.

엉덩관절모음과 플랭크운동이 보행에 미치는 영향 (Effect of the Hip Joint Adduction on Walking During the Plank Exercise)

  • 본 연구는 건강한 20대 남자 대학생 30명을 대상으로 플랭크운동과 탄력밴드에 의한 엉덩관절모음운동이 보행에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 알아보고자 하는 것이다. 연구방법은 플랭크운동집단 10명, 양쪽 엉덩관절모음-플랭크운동군 10명, 한쪽 엉덩관절모음-플랭크운동군 10명을 30분씩, 주 3회, 총 6주로 진행하였다. 그 결과 분속수의 변화와 왼쪽다리의 한걸음길이, 오른쪽다리의 한걸음길이, 오른쪽 다리의 한걸음시간이 시기와 집단 간 상호작용에서 유의한 차이가 있었다(p<0.05). 본 연구의 결론은 양쪽 엉덩관절의 모음에 대한 저항 운동이 일반적 플랭크운동과 한쪽 엉덩관절 모음보다 몸통의 자세불안정성을 더욱 증가시켜 보행 능력을 향상시키는 것으로 차후의 자세불안정성을 증대하는 다양한 운동프로그램 개발이 보행능력의 향상에 도움이 될 것으로 기대해본다.

건강한 성인의 엉덩관절 벌림 서스펜션 플랭크 운동과 수정된 브릿지 운동이 몸통근육 두께에 미치는 영향 (Effect of suspension plank exercise with hip abduction and modified bridge exercise on the trunk muscle thickness in healthy adults)

  • BACKGROUND: The purpose of this study was to find out which exercise is more effective for the activation of the trunk, when the suspension plank and modified bridge exercise are performed. Weakening of the trunk muscles can lead to secondary injuries such as back injuries. In order to prevent injury, trunk muscles must be strengthened, and representative trunk strengthening exercises include planks and bridges. Each has been developed with a modified method, but since there is no paper comparing which exercise is more effective for trunk muscle strength, it was written to compare the two exercises. METHODS: The subjects were a random sample of 30 healthy men who agreed to participate in the study. The subjects were divided into two groups of 15 people each, and the suspension plank and the modified bridge exercise were performed for six weeks. The thickness of the transverse abdominis (TrA), internal abdominal oblique (IO), external abdominal oblique (EO), rectus abdominis (RA), multifidus (MF) was measured before and after the exercise. The two groups were analyzed using an independent t-test and paired t-test to compare the muscle thickness and the difference before and after exercise. RESULTS: The trunk muscle thickness was increased in both groups with suspension plank and modified bridge exercise, and there was a statistically significant difference. When comparing the two groups, the suspension plank group also showed a significant difference in RA (p<.05). CONCLUSION: As a result of this study, suspension plank exercise can have a positive effect on activating the trunk muscles and strengthening the strength of RA. Therefore, it is considered that suspension plank exercise is a more effective intervention to strengthen trunk muscle than modified bridge exercise.

Difference in Muscle Activities According to Stability on Support Surface During Plank Exercise

  • PURPOSE: The present study aimed to measure muscle activities in the pectoralis major, the erector spinae, and the quadriceps femoris according to support surface states of arms and legs during plank exercise. METHODS: The subjects of this study were 21 healthy males in their 20s and their muscle activities at three states were measured as follows: The first state was where the support surface of arms and legs was stable. The second state was where only arms were unstable, and the third state was where only legs were unstable. Electromyography (EMG) was used to measure muscle activities. Pectoralis major, quadriceps femoris, and elector spinae were measured for muscle activities. RESULTS: The muscle activities in the pectoralis major were statistically high when arms were unstable. The muscle activities in the quadriceps femoris were statistically high when legs were unstable. The muscle activities in the erector spinae were higher when arms and legs were unstable compared to that at the stable support surface. No significant difference was revealed statistically when arms and legs were unstable. CONCLUSION: If the instability of arms and legs is employed during plank exercise, exercise on the upper and lower bodies or the erector spinae is expected to be more effective.

Effect of Kinesio Tape for Fascia on Trunk Muscle Activity during Plank

  • Purpose: Many studies have reported increased muscle activities in treatments using kinesio tape. However, most studies have focused on only muscles, so the effects of kinesio tape on structures other than the muscles are unknown. The purpose of this study is to explore the effect of kinesio tape for the fascia on trunk muscle activity during plank. Methods: Eighteen healthy participants took part in this study. The participants were asked to perform the plank in two conditions: on stable surface and unstable surface. Two kinesio tapes were attached along the spiral line introduced in the anatomy train. EMG was measured in each condition. EMG data were collected before and after attaching kinesio tape in each condition. Repeated analysis of variance (repeated ANOVA) was conducted to compare EMG activities levels between conditions. Results: EMG activities levels of trunk muscles, especially rectus abdominis and erector spinae activities were significantly increased during the plank with KT on both stable and unstable surfaces. Conclusion: KT applying on the fascia of targeted muscle increases the muscle activity. Therefore, we can also focus on the fascia to increase muscle activities not only on muscles.

Comparison of hamstring muscles activity between subjects with normal and shortened hamstring muscle during plank exercise

  • Background: Plank exercise (PE) is an effective exercise to enhance lower back stability by strengthening the core and lower limb muscles. However, in patients with a shortened hamstring muscle (HAM), PE may cause abnormal movement of the pelvis and lower back due to HAM hyperactivity. Therefore, the objective of this study was to investigate the effects of PE on the core muscles and HAM in subjects with a shortened HAM. Design: Cross-sectional study. Methods: Subjects were divided into a normal length of HAM group (NHG; 9 subjects) and a shortened length of HAM group (SHG; 14 subjects). The activities of the erector spinae (ES), rectus abdominis (RA), external oblique (EO), and HAM muscles were measured using surface electromyography. Results: The results showed that RA, EO, and ES muscle activities were higher in the NHG than in the SHG; however, no significant differences were detected. Conclusion: HAM activity was significantly higher in the SHG than in the NHG. In subjects with a shortened HAM, PE may hyperactivate the HAM, adversely affecting the pelvis and lower back.

현장타설 고강도콘크리트와 유리섬유 FRP 판 사이의 부착슬립관계에 관한 연구 (Bond Slip Relationship between GFRP Plank and Cast-in-place High Strength Concrete)

  • GFRP 판을 영구 거푸집 및 주요 인장 보강재로 활용한 GFRP-콘크리트 하이브리드 구조의 활용에 대해 최근 활발하게 연구가 이루어지고 있다. GFRP 판과 콘크리트 하이브리드 구조의 거동을 이해하기 위해서는 GFRP 판과 현장타설 고강도콘크리트 사이의 정량적인 국부 부착슬립모델이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 하이브리드 구조에 간단하게 적용할 수 있는 2중 직선 단순 부착슬립관계를 제안하고자 한다. 본 연구에서 제안된 단순 부착슬립관계의 최대 평균 부착응력은 3.29MPa이며, 초기 기울기는 35.66MPa/mm, 총 슬립은 0.23mm이고 계면 파괴에너지는 0.37kN/m로 나타났다.

  • 본 연구에서는 유리섬유강화폴리머 판을 영구거푸집 및 인장 보강재로 활용한 현장타설 고강도콘크리트 합성보를 대상으로 판 하부의 잔골재 부착여부, 웨브의 천공유무 및 간격, 상부플랜지 폭을 변수로 하여 휨 파괴실험을 수행하였다. GFRP 판 웨브를 천공하지 않은 경우 잔골재 부착효과 여부를 위한 실험 결과, 잔골재를 부착한 경우 미부착의 경우 보다 약 43% 높은 극한하중 값을 보여주었으며, 웨브의 천공유무 및 간격효과는 잔골재를 부착하지 않은 경우 천공간격이 3배인 경우가 약 23% 정도 높은 극한하중 값을 보여주었으며, 잔골재를 부착한 경우 천공 간격이 5배인 경우가 약 11% 정도 높은 극한하중 값을 보여주었다. 상부플랜지 영향을 살펴보면, 폭 20mm 경우가 40mm에 비해 약 12% 정도 큰 극한하중 값을 보여주었다.

TRX 스트랩 길이에 따른 체간 근육의 활성도 비교 (Comparison of Trunk Muscle Activity according to Different Strap Length of TRX)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate muscle activation according to the four strap lengths in the TRX plank exercise to provide scientific and accurate data on effective training methods. Method: Twenty healthy men who had at least 6 months of weight training experience and could fully adjusted plank exercise, were participate in this study (age: 25.2 ± 3.7 yrs., height: 174.2 ± 3.9 cm., weight: 71.2 ± 9 kg). To pursue the study purpose, surface electrodes were attached to trunk muscles (pectoralis major, rectus abdominis, external oblique, internal oblique, erector spinae, latissimus dorsi) and lower extramity muscles (gluteus maximus, rectus femoris, gastrocnemius), and the muscle activity was measured using 11-channel electromyography equipment. In order to verify the muscle activation according to the four strap lengths during TRX plank exercise, an one-way ANOVA with repeated measure was used with statistical significance level set at as α=.05. Results: First, there were statistically significant differences in pectoralis major, rectus abdominis, external oblique, internal oblique, and erector spinae among TRX strap lengths. Second, there were statistically significant differences in gluteus maximus, rectus femoris, and gastrocnemius among TRX strap lengths. Third, even though no statistically significant difference found in latissimus dorsi, but increased muscle activation tendency was showed as the length of the strap increased. Conclusion: From the results of this study, it may be possible that TRX exercise prevent injuries and improve lower extremity muscle as well as trunk muscles by setting appropriate length of strap.

응급구조학과 학생들의 체간근육 훈련이 심폐소생술에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Trunk Muscle Exercise of Paramedic Student on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)

  • 본 연구는 심폐소생술에 주로 사용되는 체간 근육이 플랭크 운동을 통해 가슴압박에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보고자 하였다. 연구대상자들은 12주 프로그램에 참여하였으며 한 명의 대상자가 8분 동안 가슴 압박만을 실시하였다. 플랭크 운동에 의한 근육량 변화는 프로그램 4주차부터 8주차까지 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다(p<.01). 근육 활동 변화는 3주부터 10주까지 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다(p<.01). 흉부 압박 깊이는 4주차부터 8주차까지 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다(p<.01). 또한 불완전한 압박 후 가슴 이완은 4주차부터 10주차까지 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다(p<.01). 가슴압박 유지 시간은 2주에서 12주까지 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다(p<.01). 연구대상자의 근육량과 근육 활동은 플랭크 운동 프로그램에 참여한 후 이전보다 더 많이 증가하여 가슴 압박에 도움이 된다는 것을 보여주었다.
