This study was carried out to understand the characteristics of stairs in Palladio's villa. The subject of study are selected the twenty two villas with drawing in his book ‘The four books of Architecture’. Their cases are represented the characteristics of stair in architectural composition. Accordingly, it was analyzed and classified the architectural characteristics into space, form and plan at a villa. In conclusion, in aspect of spacial plan, staircases of Palladio's villa was presented more open and light in comparison with darked space of the medieval age. And it was intended to the connection or division between spaces of different character In an aspect of formal plan, dynamic form of stairs was divided into the two types. First, it was represented the effect of articulation in form. Second, stairs were represented the diagonal with the shape of itself. In an aspect of plan, his idea is coexisted with traditional thought and rational idea through the arrangement of symmetry md asymmetry. But at any rate, his concern was sought for the reasonable position. Also, he had represented the various characteristics in stairs such as his works in Renaissance period.

This plan is for a different type of welfare facilities devised by analyzing problems with existing welfare centers and focusing on connection with residents and link between culture and welfare and among generations. In terms of re-development plan of Youngsun-2-dong, Youngdo-gu, Busan and the neighborhood under this plan, Youngsun-dong, Youngdo-gu is one of the densely populated districts of the aged, with lower growth rate and poor housing and welfare facilities. However, the district has a blessed natural environment and historical site of cultural relics of the Neolithic Age as well as growth potential as a logistics center with broader network of roads linking with Bukhang Bridge when Namhang Bridge construction is complete, showing the aspiration for change toward hi-tech maritime city in the 21st century of Youngdo-gu. This plan is expected to promote unity between the old and children, protection from social marginalization, and re-socialization education and set the stage for participation and solidarity of residents in the community.

This plan for the Medical and Information Technology University which is built by the will and support of Korea at the small county Kingdom of Swaziland in Africa. As we consider the essential condition of self-supporting of nation is the education for the poor country in culturally and socially. The establish the University in the downtown is a significant work in socially and culturally as the urban infrastructure. Besides, this is presenting the master plan not only educational institution purpose but the place for the desirable communication between regional resident in educational and cultural circumstances. It is the main concept for this plan that flexible arrangement of the lower stories buildings on the gentle hill according to the geographic features of the field, road situation, supporting equipment, construction ability and Building materials.

This present study purposed to propose a plan of building a future oriented school library that supports teachers' teaching with various multimedia and Internet materials applicable in class immediately, helps students' self directed learning activities, and plays its role as a cultural center of the local community. As for research methods, this study examines the basic directions and characteristics of school libraries defined by the Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development, and investigates the current state of school libraries. In addition, we survey cases of library plans in Incheon, and suggest standards for planning and propose a plan. Ultimately, we establish a library plan for S Elementary School in Incheon and execute the plan and, in the course, derive ideas for satisfying students' demands with regard to their sentiment, stable and flexible layout and flow lines, facilities and space within the library, etc. What is more, we create indexes for library planning so that school libraries can contribute to various cultural activities and the development of local community beyond their functions as school library facilities.

There are several kinds of service standards for 3G($3^{rd}$-Generation) wireless communication as WCDMA, CDMA2000 and WiBro(Wireless Broadband Internet). Especially WiBro Wave2 system is a marked currnt issue. In this paper, we describe on the cell plan tool to desgin WiBro Wave2 network. For this, we treat from basic theory to practical substance to produce new(or modified) path loss prediction model for 2.3GHz. And we explain the method how to implement new technology MIMO(Multiple Input Multiple Output) deployed in Wave2 system. Also we emphasize on the importance of LOS(Line Of Sight) analysis in WiBro network design.

Purpose: In this study, the detailed implementation plan for product safety evaluation and management suggested by KS A ISO 10377 to reduce the risk of harm to consumers and users is presented so that companies can strategically implement it. Methods: In order to achieve the purpose of this study, the upper elements and detailed execution plans shown in KS A 10377 are classified into hierarchies and set as a decision hierarchy. A pairwise comparison is performed to derive it. Results: Among the top factors, 'design safety (D)' was the most important factor, with 0.314. Therefore, ensuring safety in the design stage that can prevent defects in advance is the most important action plan for companies to supply safe products. Conclusion: The results of this study, it is intended to help companies and related organizations more easily understand and continuously apply KS A ISO 10377.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to derive a plan to establish a more sophisticated master plan so that the direction of master plan study can be sustained in the mid to long term. Methods:: Compare and analyze the differences between the master plan and the design to identify causes and problems. First, after establishing the master plan, compare the expansion area, net area per bed, and service area with the design drawing of the first project to determine the degree of recovery to the level required by the recent medical environment. Second, the possibility of responding to future internal changes is reviewed by comparing and analyzing the arrangement and connection method of extension buildings. Third, comparing the difference between the project following the first project and the phased of masterplan. Results: The first one is that continuous participation of person or group with high understanding of the master plan. Second, establishing a master plan and proceeding with the project through the determination of the correct business budget. Third, a specific area of the mechanical and electrical room suitable for the size and purpose of the hospital should be presented, and research on the arrangement method should be conducted. Finally, the feasibility of the hospital's own plan for securing parking facilities should be accurately investigated. Implications: It is important for the hospital to recover from the past to the present and respond to the future that the direction of the master plan continues after the establishment.

미국에서의 친환경적이고 지속가능한 도시설계 사례를 중심으로 통합적인 친환경 설계 프로세스에 대해 살펴보고 우리나라 친환경 설계에의 시사점을 제시하고자 한다. 이번 호에서는 먼저 친환경건축을 위한 통합설계에 대해 살펴보고 대표적인 사례로 Treasure Island Master Plan을 소개하고자 한다. 이어서 Parkmerced Vision Plan, Transbay Terminal Master Plan, Encinal Terminal Master Plan & Other cases를 총 5회에 걸쳐 소개하고자 한다.

This paper deals with an economical sampling plan, recently being concentrated on and, namely, investigates how to determine the basic concepts to settle the sampling plan of a minimum cost. On an inspection of sampling, a Linear Cost Model of a cost function which is concerned with the representative cost dements, is established and by the investigation of its possible solution economical single sampling plan for recitying inspection by attribute is suggested.
