The diffusion of advanced mobile technology has introduced new types of personal information or 'location data'. These new data mean new opportunities for businesses, such as location-based services (LBS), but have resulted in new consumer anxieties regarding disclosure of personal information. This study examines the effects of the consumers' perceived control over "time-andplace" information in location-aware services on their perceived privacy risk. A total of 270 respondents participated in this study. Conditions of perceived privacy control were operationalized over time-and-place information, in a $2{\times}2$ factorial design. Results indicate that the perceived control over time-and-place personal information is a significant predictor of perceived risk, and control assurances over time-and-place information enhances the perception of control, thus alleviating the perceived risk. In addition, the effect is much more significant when time and place were combined.

본 논문에서 스케일 불변 특징 분포를 이용한 장소 모델링과 실제 입력되는 특징을 추출하여 데이터베이스에 저장된 장소모델을 비교하여 장소를 인식하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법에서 모든 장소는 각각 다른 장소와 확실히 구별되는 고유한 특징들의 분포로 표현 가능하다고 가정한다. 제안된 방법은 각 장소마다 전역정보를 사용하며, 하나의 장소는 하나의 장소모델로 표현된다. 따라서 장소의 인식을 위해 비교 대상이 되는 장소의 수가 증가하여도, 장소인식을 위한 시간의 복잡도가 기하급수적으로 증가하지 않는다는 장점을 가진다. 제안된 방법의 성능을 검증하기 위한 실험으로 인식에 사용된 특징의 수와 입력영상의 수를 변화시키며 실험을 수행하였고, 실험을 통해 기존의 방법보다 공간적, 시간적인 면에서 제안된 방법이 효율적임을 입증하였다. 제안된 방법은 로봇의 자율항해, 시각장애인의 도움이 시스템, 웨어러블 컴퓨팅 분야 등, 다양한 분야에 활용도가 있으리라 기대한다.

The Beautiful rest room is simple how to think. We need to understand that excretion is important as much as eating. When we didn't have foods, eating was important in itself no matter what our lives environments. But now we want to eat in more dignified and more cultural place. Most of restaurants spend money on adjusting place for the consumes' desire. It is same way about rest room, it is time to change our rest room to place of rest and speculation over the place which we fix our natural urge. We can fix our natural urge, take a rest, and get creative ideas in more convenient, more healthy and more comfortable. It is time for us to change out thought about rest room; it is not dirty and stink place, but civilized living place like developed country. Also, we need new concept to take a triangular position about rest room is one of structure over just decorations. This research suggest new public rest room without precedent based on instance analysis about rest room inside and outside the country.

Although there are a lot of primary factors to be able to make characters and identities in Pusan South Harbor, Badly Planned development prevented enhancing the sense of place in urban waterfront. The point in the waterfront development is how to secure amenities based on indentity and orientation; node, landmark, edge, path, district. This study aims at developing waterfront area of Pusan South Harbor and attempting to establish an identity through studying characteristics of ‘places’ in Pusan South Harbor. The place consists of two elements; orientation and identity, which can be explained the environmental totality, ‘character’ and ‘space’ respectively. The urban waterfront has strong characteristics which consists of land area, water area, and transit zone combining two areas. The place of Pusan South Harbor is analysed those four elements. We proposed objectives and criteria which can be used in enhancing the sense of this place.

There are a lot of reasons to use In-place tests. Construction schedules often require that operations such as form removal, post-tensioning, termination of curing, and removal of reshores be carried out as early as possible. To enable these operations to proceed safely as soon as possible requires the use of reliable in-place tests to estimate the in-place strength. In-place test results are not reliable for engineering judgment. These results should be interpreted and correlated to standard compressive strength, based on the test method. In this paper some of these test procedures and their limitations are discussed. In this study we will go on for Rebound number, Pullout, Ultrasonic pulse velocity, and Cast-in-place cylinder methods which are most useful methods in the Asia.

The traditional market has formed for itself through a long time thus has special value of the place. The tangible value of the traditional market is high, however, it became jeopardized to be dismantled since it can not cope with the consumption environment of modern society. Modern industrial society provides an inefficiently and standardized solution to the traditional market by ignoring the identity of place only by the value the traditional market in the law of large distribution industry. This study aims to define the placeness of Namdaemun traditional market by considering tangible value of place. The identity of the place was analyzed as a spatial configuration, space organization, and sense of place through the place's physical setting, activities, and meanings by Edward Ralph. Based on the analysis by Ralph, we analyzed the traditional market and compare to the department store, which is the representative of large scale distributor, using comparative method. We performed quantitative and integrative analysis for the placeness and provide a way to appraise the worth of the traditional market by deviating from the traditional evaluation method.

최근 모바일 환경의 보급에 따른 위치기반서비스의 발달로 POI 정보의 중요성이 더욱 부각되고 있다. 따라서 빠르게 변화하는 장소들의 정보를 반영하기 위해서는 POI의 최신성과 정확성이 담보되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 POI 정보의 효율적인 구축을 위해 다수의 사용자가 정보를 구축하는 크라우드 소싱 기반의 장소 정보 구축 시스템을 제안한다. 또한 POI 정보를 넘어서서 영역 형태의 정보를 포함하는 장소 정보의 개념을 제시하고, 장소 정보의 구축을 위해 그래프 데이터 모델을 활용하였다. 그리고 그래프 데이터 모델과 크라우드 소싱을 활용한 시스템을 설계하고, 이를 실제로 구현하였다. 그 결과 단순 POI로부터 영역 형태를 포함하는 장소의 개념의 클러스터링이 가능하였고, 크라우드 소싱을 통해 정보의 구축 및 갱신이 가능하였다.

최근 급속한 고령화로 인해 고령사회에 대비하는 다양 한 연구가 진행 되고 있다. 증가하는 노년층을 위한 실버산업으로 웰니스, 독거노인 모니터링 및 지원 서비스, 응급 의료 지원 서비스가 성장하고 있지만 경제적 문제로 인해 부분적으로 제공 되고 있다. 또한 고령사회의 문제로 노년층의 거주 문제와 고령 환자의 돌봄 문제도 해결되어야 할 중요한 문제로 부각되고 있다. Aging in Place는 시설 거주에서 나타나는 지역이탈, 통제적 커뮤니케이션, 자립 상실의 문제를 해결하기 위한 대안으로 부상하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 ICT 기반 Aging in Place 정보 확장 지원을 위한 IoT 환경 구축을 제안한다. Aging in Place 지원을 위한 IoT 환경 구축을 통해 사용자는 익숙한 환경에서 노후를 맞을 수 있는 서비스를 제공 받을 수 있다. 제안 방법은 이용자의 정보를 기반으로 자립 할 수 있는 환경을 구축하고 고령자를 위한 의료, 교통, 생활지원 서비스를 제공한다.

Inspired by the multi-scale nature of hippocampal place cells, a biologically inspired model based on a multi-scale spatial representation for goal-directed navigation is proposed in order to achieve robotic spatial cognition and autonomous navigation. First, a map of the place cells is constructed in different scales, which is used for encoding the spatial environment. Then, the firing rate of the place cells in each layer is calculated by the Gaussian function as the input of the Q-learning process. The robot decides on its next direction for movement through several candidate actions according to the rules of action selection. After several training trials, the robot can accumulate experiential knowledge and thus learn an appropriate navigation policy to find its goal. The results in simulation show that, in contrast to the other two methods(G-Q, S-Q), the multi-scale model presented in this paper is not only in line with the multi-scale nature of place cells, but also has a faster learning potential to find the optimized path to the goal. Additionally, this method also has a good ability to complete the goal-directed navigation task in large space and in the environments with obstacles.

In modern society, the place we live and reside decides quality of our lives and pattern of behaviors, and it appears with indeterminative and circulating forms. The place provides different experiences and restrictions to us as intentions of human being and order of nature merges into each other. Formation of such place decides the character depending on its relationship of orders. There would be various methods to prescribe for the ability, that is, characteristics, of space. It is the purpose of this research to classify different components defining the character of the space based on a general notion of place and to find out how it is reflected in the space itself. It is to analyze difference case studies by finding out the relationship between the factors affecting the formation of places and aspects of different expressions within the space. The research would assist in forming different harmonious places reflecting the phases of this modern time as designing interior spaces, and it is also to provide footstone for the formation of space which is not only growing but also future oriented.
