본 논문에서는 헝가리 출신의 작곡가 스티븐 헬러(Stephen Heller)의 피아노 작품들을 활용해 리듬과 발란스를 중심으로 중급과정의 학습자들의 피아노 테크닉이 향상될 수 있는 연습방법 및 교수방안을 제시하고자 한다. 스테판 헬러는 낭만시대의 작곡가로 우리에게 비교적 많이 알려지지는 않았지만 그의 작품을 살펴보면, 기초적인 피아노 테크닉을 향상시키고 더 나아가 음악성을 개발시킬 수 있는 작품들을 많이 작곡한 것을 알 수 있다. 헬러의 작품들은 대부분 피아노 연습곡임에도 불구하고 음악적이고 중급 또는 고급과정의 학습자들이 다루기에 흥미로운 작품들이 많다. 또한 그의 작품들은 음악적 표현력을 개발시키고 연주용 레퍼토리로 사용하기에 가치 있는 곡들로 낭만시대의 쇼팽, 리스트, 슈만 등과 같은 낭만시대 대작의 작품을 연주하기 전 단계에서 중급과정의 학습자들이 다루기에 효과적이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 스티븐 헬러의 피아노 작품들을 활용해 피아노 테크닉 향상과 음악성을 개발시키기 위한 연습방법을 리듬과 발란스 중심으로 제시하고 이를 통해 피아노 교육의 질적 향상과 교수법적 연구에 중요한 의미를 갖고자 한 논문이다.

Music performance techniques have been primarily trained by apprenticeship. The technique transfer, which relies on the imitation of experience and actual performance without scientific evidence, required the pianists more time and effort than necessary. However, if the players in the field discover the principles of universally applicable piano playing techniques in collaboration with scientists, they will avoid errors and prepare a new paradigm in the development of piano playing techniques. This is why music performance science is needed. Little has been studied about it in Korea, but it has been activated abroad since the mid-1990s. The core science of music performance science is expected to be computer science fitting data analysis. In this paper, we introduce music performance science for the pianist and present how computer can help it.

IT기술을 교육 서비스에 접목시키는 에듀테크 시대가 도래함에 따라, 음악 교육에서도 다양한 시도들이 행해지고 있다. 교수자 중심에서 학습자 중심으로 옮아가면서 학습자 맞춤형 학습에 대해 관심이 높아졌으며, 이를 위해서 학습자의 숙련도를 파악하는 것이 필요하다. 피아노 학습에서 코드 운지법은 반주자가 필수적으로 익혀야 할 기법이다. 본 논문에서는 맞춤형 코드 운지법 학습 도구를 제안하고 코드 운지법 패턴 분석을 통한 활용 방안을 보였다. 구체적으로는, 학습자의 축적된 코드 연습 데이터를 활용하여 코드의 난이도나 학습자의 숙련도를 파악하고, 코드 사이의 유사도에 기반한 계층적 클러스터링을 수행하여 코드 클러스터들을 통하여 보다 향상된 코드 연습에 대한 활용방안을 제시하였다. 본 연구의 의의는 연습 데이터로부터 의미 있는 정보를 획득하여 맞춤형으로 코드 학습을 할 수 있다는 데 있다. 또한 테스트와 같은 부가적인 노력 없이, 연습 시에 저장되는 데이터들을 이용하여 숙련도와 코드 학습 난이도가 산정되므로 학습자 입장에서의 부담을 경감시킬 수 있다.

In the past decade, considerable progress has been made in developing the appropriate biotechnology for microalgal mass cultivation aimed at establishing a new agro-industry. This review points out the main biological constraints affecting algal biotechnology outdoors and the requirements for making this biotechnology economically viable. One of them is the availability of a wide variety of algal species and improved strains that favorably respond to varying environmental conditions existing outdoors. It is thus just a matter of time and effort before a new methodology like genetic engineering can and will be applied in this field as well. The study of stress physiology and adaptation of microalgae has also an important application in further development of the biotechnology for mass culturing of microalgae. In outdoor cultures, cells are exposed to severe changes in light and temperature much faster than the time scale re-quired for the cells to acclimate. A better understanding of those parameters and the ability to rapidly monitor those conditions will provide the growers with a better knowledge on how to optimize growth and productivity. Induction of accumulation of high value products is associated with stress conditions. Understanding the physiological response may help in providing a better production system for the desired product and, at a later stage, give an insight of the potential for genetic modification of desired strains. The potential use of microalgae as part of a biological system for bioremediation/detoxification and wastewater treatment is also associated with growing the cells under stress conditions. Important developments in monitoring and feedback control of the culture behavior through application of on-line chlorophyll fluorescence technique are in progress. Understanding the process associated with those unique environmental conditions may help in choosing the right culture conditions as well as selecting strains in order to improve the efficiency of the biological process.

본 논문에서는 적응적 변이추정 기법을 이용한 새로운 중간시점영상합성 방법을 제시하였다. 즉, 스테레오 입력 영상으로부터 특징값을 추출하고, 설정된 임계값과 비교하여 특징값의 크기를 결정한 다음, 특징값의 크기에 따라 정합창의 크기를 적응적으로 선택하여 정합함으로써 중간시점의 영상을 합성하는 새로운 기법을 제안하였다. 제안된 기법에서는 배경과 같인 특징값이 작은 영역에서는 비교적 큰 정합창에 의한 블록정합이 이루어지고 물체의 윤곽선과 같이 특징값이 큰 영역에서는 상대적으로 작은 정합창에 의한 미세한 정합이 적응적으로 수행되기 때문에 전체적인 정합성능의 개선뿐만 아니라 기존의 기법에서 나타나는 오정합이나 블록화 현상등의 문제점 해결의 가능성을 제시하였다. 또한, 'Parts' 및 'Piano' 영상을 사용한 실험결과 본 논문에서 새로이 제안한 중간시점 영상합성 방법은 기존의 방식에 비해 평균적으로 PSNR은 약 2.32∼4.16dB가 향상되었고, 수행시간은 약 39.34∼65.58% 감소됨을 확인하였다.

1900년대 항구도시인 뉴올리언즈에는 다양한 민족과 인종들이 뒤섞여 대혼란을 이루고 있는 시기였다. 아프리카에서 끌려온 흑인노예들이 불렀던 노동요, 영가, 블루스와 영국 민요, 프랑스의 민속음악과 발레음악, 스페인의 춤곡, 군악대의 행진곡 등이 크레올의 래그타임(Rag Time)등과 뒤섞여 문화적인 다양성을 가지게 되었고 이러한 상황이 초기의 재즈로 발전하는 계기가 되었다. 20세기 역사상 가장 대중적이고 대중들의 사랑을 많이 받았던 스윙 재즈, 즉 비밥은 빅 밴드의 편곡 위주로 연주되던 스윙 재즈와는 달리 소규모 악기편성을 선호하였고 '즉흥연주'가 전면으로 나서게 된 재즈의 변형된 형태로 발전하게 되었다. 비밥의 빠르고 복잡한 코드진행에 반기를 들고 새로운 스타일을 개척한 쿨 재즈를 비롯해 20년 전의 비밥보다 훨씬 더 강도 높게 재즈의 전통으로 부터 근본적인 단절을 꾀한 양식으로 받아들여진 프리 재즈가 탄생하게 된다. 재즈의 역사의 중심에 있었던 마일스 데이비스가 재즈에 록(Rock) 비트를 도입하면서 시작된 퓨전 재즈 등으로 발전되었다. 이렇게 시대별로 각기 다른 이름으로 발전해온 재즈의 매력은 '즉흥연주'에 있다고 볼 수 있다. 시대별로 코드 진행과 스케일, 리듬 등에 약간의 스타일적인 변화가 있었지만 결국 21세기를 살고 있는 지금의 연주자들도 재즈의 연주에서 제일 중요하게 생각하는 것은 다름 아닌 '즉흥연주'이다. 같은 시대에 살면서 음악활동을 했던 유명 연주자들도 그 시대의 전체적인 분위기를 따라 가면서 각기 다른 자신만의 연주 스타일을 가지고 있었다. 그렇기 때문에 똑같은 곡을 연주해도 헤드는 비슷하게 연주 하지만 솔로 부분에서는 각기 다른 자기만의 즉흥연주 스타일을 표현하게 되는 것이다.

This study analyzed the knit wear trend, which has gained attention as a sensuous and luxury item, through collection magazines, and used the technique of hand-knit to produce and present the knit wear that was designed based on the study results. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to raise awareness of the expansion of hand knit's new expression techniques and expression areas and to verify its possibility as a higher value-added product. The trends of hand-knit wear resulted from the analysis of collections divided into the following four groups, and the knit designs were also grouped accordingly: First was "The design using object." The trend survey showed the results that the form of drops or flowers was often used as a factor of object. Accordingly, as for the study design, the drop-knitting technique, which is one of the pattern knitting techniques, was used to present a design that employed drops as the object. Second was "The design matched with woven material." It is a way to emphasize aesthetic formativeness and at the same time to activate the area of knit design by matching woven material, which is different from knit in texture, with knit. This study presented a design that tried to combine knit texture and woven material by connecting denim material with various textures and colors. Third was "The design to express see-through." A sense of showing through knit wear was expressed through changes in the type of thread or knitting technique. In this study, the sense of see-through was expressed using piano wires and wool threads and through changes in the thickness of needle. Fourth was "The design to emphasize coloring." It was analyzed that regarding the production of hand knit, the method of coloring expression was to express points, lines and sides or to create harmony by changing the material's color or texture to show particular objects or shapes. In this study, a jacket was designed using the method to express points, lines and sides by changing the material's color.

22,000 Ton hydraulic press was developed using wire winding method. The hydraulic press consists of three piece of frame type. The outer layers of yoke-column frame and main cylinder linear were wound with piano wire(1mm${\times}$4mm) under controlled tension and the total length of wound wire was about 450Km. The developed hydraulic press is used for the forming of heat plate with ultra-large size. To obtain large force with relative small apparatus, high pressure of $1,500 Kgf/cm^2$ was supplied to main cylinder through pressure amplification by booster pump. Therefore sealing technique of main cylinder is so crucial that the seals were made of mitre ring type with super-elastic metal. The press total weight is about 150 tons, which is quite light and compact relative to that of conventional hydraulic press.

청음이란 어떤 음악을 듣고서 그 음의 높이를 음계적 혹은 화성적으로 측정할 수 있는 능력을 말한다. 본 연구에서는 현대 일상생활의 필수품인 컴퓨터를 이용하여 음악교육에서 가장 중요한 청음연습을 위한 시스템에 대한 고찰을 하고자 한다. 제안하는 시스템은 한글화를 통해 초보자나 아동들이 쉽게 청음 연습을 할 수 있도록 하였고 음악을 전공하는 이들에게도 유익하도록 다양한 기능이 가능하게 하였다. 또한 실질적인 기능의 충실함과 더불어 여러 학습자 등록 기능을 추가하여 다른 사용자와 비교 할 수 있으며 성적을 수치화, 그래프화하여 확인 가능하므로 학습 성취도를 높이도록 하였다. 효과적인 청음연습을 위한 시스템에 대한 본 논문의 제안은 향후 체계적인 청음훈련을 위한 시스템개발에 관한 관심을 높이는데 기여하리라 사료된다.

20세기 초 나타나기 시작한 다양하고 실험적인 음악 사조들의 흐름속에서 중요하고 의미있는 역할을 하는 작곡가 무진스키의 음악세계와 작품들을 살펴보고 오늘날의 다양한 장르의 음악과의 발전관계를 이해하는데 이 연구의 목적을 두었다. 이 논문에서는 그의 작품 중 근본이 되는 피아노 음악들을 분석하여 양식적 특성 즉, 형식, 선율, 화성, 조성, 리듬 그리고 구조 등 다양한 형태의 기법들을 살펴보고 작곡가의 음악적 성장 과정과 철학적 배경 등을 소개하고 있다. 무진스키의 음악은 20세기 음악의 다양한 형태 즉, 무조음악, 12음기법, 전위음악, 전자음악 등의 자유적인 양상에 반하여 신고전주의, 신낭만주의 혹은 신바로크적인 특징을 보여주고 있는 작가로서 전통적인 형식을 사용하였으나 작품의 성격은 매우 자유스러운 형태를 띠고 있다. 또한 1960년대 다큐멘터리 영화음악 제작에 참여하여 매우 독창적이고 감각적인 음악들을 남기고 있다. 무진스키의 음악은 현대음악 시기에 존재하지만 조성의 성격을 버리지 않고 경제적인 아이디어와 서정적인 선율, 복조성, 9음 음계 등 신고전주의적이며 신낭만주의적인 특징을 가지고 있어 매우 독창적이고 작품성 있는 음악으로 평가받고 있으며 오늘날 영화음악과 재즈음악 발전에 매우 좋은 토양이 되었다는 점에 그 의미가 크다고 할 수 있다.
