An important challenge in polymer-based advanced materials aimed at the fabrication of individualized functional molecular objects exhibiting specific and well-defined properties. The strategy developed in our group involves the construction of single giant highly branched macromolecules with controlled architecture and topology. Our presentation will be focused on the design of a series of comb copolymers with (a) PS-PI diblock branches, (b) randomly distributed PS and PI branches and janus type PS-comb-b-PI-comb diblocks. Their synthesis and a study of their behavior in solution and in bulk will be described.

The hydrogenation of $AlB_2$-type BaGaGe exhibits a metal to insulator (MI) transition, inducing a puckering distortion of the original hexagonal [GaGe] layers. We investigate the electronic structure changes associated with the hydrogen-induced MI transition, using extended H$\ddot{u}$ckel tight-binding band calculations. The results indicate that hydrogen incorporation in the precursor BaGaGe is characterized by an antibonding interaction of $\pi$ on GaGe with hydrogen 1s and the second-order mixing of the singly occupied antibonding $\pi^*$ orbital into it, through Ga-H bond formation. As a result, the fully occupied bonding $\pi$ band in BaGaGe changes to a weakly dispersive band with Ge pz (lone pair) character in the hydride, which becomes located just below the Fermi level. The Ga-Ge bonds within a layered polyanion are slightly weakened by hydrogen incorporation. A rationale for this is given.

Let $\pi : P \to S^4$ be a principal G-bundle over $S^4$ whose the structure group G is a compact, connected, simple Lie group. Since $\pi_3(G) = \pi_4 (BG) = Z$, we can classify the principal bundle $P_k$ over $S^4$ by the map $S^4 \to BG$ of degree k. Atiyah and Jones [2] showed that $C_k = A_k/g^b_k$ is homotopy equivalent to $\Omega^3_k G \simeq \Omega^4_k BG$ where $A_k$ is the space of the all connections in $P_k$ and $g^b_k$ is the based gauge group which consists of all base point preserving automorphisms on $P_k$. Here $\Omega^nX$ is the space of all base-point preserving continuous map from $S^n$ to X. Let $M_k$ be the space of based gauge equivalence classes of all connections in $P_k$ satisfying the Yang-Mills self-duality equations, which we call the moduli space of G instantons.

Experimental evidence suggests that spin pinning conditions for standing spin mode in polycrystalline $Ni_{84}Fe_{16}$ alloy film, is confirmed using the four categories of Camley et al. and the value of q$\bot$ for the pinning conditions, this was achieved by performing Brillouin light scattering measurements. The value of q$\bot$ was observed, in order to increase at a rate of $\pi$/2 with an increasing mode number. With this condition, the coexistence of standing spin wave modes was shown, with intermediate pinning, in addition to free and strong pinning. The values for spin-wave-stiffness constant ($D_B$), g-factor (g), and surface magnetization (4$\pi$M) of the Permalloy film were obtained from the results of BLS, and determined to be $D_B=1.85{\pm}0.05Oecm^2$, $g=2.11{\pm}0.02$, and 4$\pi$M=8.7 kG, respectively.

자율주행 연구가 활발히 진행되면서 ADAS(Advanced Driver Assistance System)에서 차량의 위치를 파악하고 경로를 유지하는데 차선 검출은 필수적인 기술이다. 차선 검출은 허프 변환과 RANSAC(Random Sample Consensus)과 같은 영상처리 알고리즘을 이용하여 검출한다. 본 논문은 라즈베리파이3 B+에 OpenCV를 이용하여 선형 도형 검출 알고리즘을 구현하고 있다. OpenCV 가우시안 블러 구조와 캐니 에지 검출을 통해 문턱값을 설정하였고, 선형 검출 알고리즘을 통한 차선 인식에 성공하였다.

This paper presents a new velocity estimation strategy for a non-salient permanent magnet synchronous motor drive without high frequency signal injection or special PWM pattern. This approach is based on the d-axis current regulator output voltage of the drive system, which contains the rotor position error information. The rotor velocity can be estimated through a rotor position tracking PI controller that controls the position error at zero. For zero and low speed operation, the PI gain of the rotor position tracking controller has a variable structure according to the estimated rotor velocity. Then, at zero speed, the rotor position and velocity have sluggish dynamics because the varying gains are very low in this region. In order to boost the bandwidth of the PI controller during zero speed, the loop recovery technique is applied to the control system. The PI tuning formulas are also derived by analyzing this control system by frequency domain specifications such as phase margin and bandwidth assignment.

본 논문에서는 센서잡음이 있는 선형계의 구동기에 도입되는 미지고장을 추정하는 방법에 대해 연구하였다. 구동기의 미지 고장추정을 위하여 새로운 PI관측기를 도입함으로써 기존의 추정 방법에 비해 추정 성능을 개선시킬 수 있었으며, 시뮬레이션 결과로부터 본 연구방법의 유용성을 입증할 수 있었다.

We study the quasi-commutativity in relation with powers of coefficients of polynomials. In the procedure we introduce the concept of ${\pi}$-quasi-commutative ring as a generalization of quasi-commutative rings. We show first that every ${\pi}$-quasi-commutative ring is Abelian and that a locally finite Abelian ring is ${\pi}$-quasi-commutative. The role of these facts are essential to our study in this note. The structures of various sorts of ${\pi}$-quasi-commutative rings are investigated to answer the questions raised naturally in the process, in relation to the structure of Jacobson and nil radicals.

In this paper, the fairing effects on the aerodynamics stability of basic plate-girder sections are investigated trough wind tunnel tests. As basis sections, two types of $\pi$-type shape sections with aspect ratios(D/B) of 1/5 and 1/10 are employed as the basic sections. And three types of triangular fairings are applied such as right-angled triangle(F1), inverted right-angled triangle(F2) and regular triangle(F3). The effects of attack angle on the dynamic response of each section are also investigated. As the results of experiments, fairings F2 is most effective to suppress flutter phenomenon or vortex induced vibration among three types of fairings.

Mutagenic activities of extracts from the filtrate of the cultured broth (PI-I), mycelia (pI-II), and the fruiting bodies (PI-III) of Phellinus igniarius were examined by Ames/Salmonella tests. No mutagenic activity was found in Salmonella typhimurium strains TA98 and TA100, either with or without S9 activation. In contrast, PI-I, PI-II, and PI-III showed inhibitory effects on the mutagenic activities by the directly-acting mutagens, 4-nitro-ο-phenylenediamine(NPD) and sodium azide ($NaN_3$), and also by the indirectly-acting mutagens, 2-aminofluorene (2-AF) and benzo[a]pyrene (B[a]P). These results suggest that P. igniarius possesses some antimutagenic activity and may contain some chemopreventive agents.
