건강증진 프로그램에 참여한 방문건강관리 여성노인의 체력과 삶의 질 (Effects of Health Promotion Program on Physical Fitness and Quality of Life of Elderly Women Receiving Home Visiting Health Care Services)

  • Purpose: The study evaluated the effectiveness of health promotion program on the physical fitness and quality of life of elderly women receiving home visiting health care services. Methods: There were 122 elderly women participants. The data were collected between March and December 2019. The participants were provided with the 36-weeks health promotion program consisting of health education, such as nutrition, depression, urinary incontinence, fall, oral care, and exercises, such as stretching, weight-bearing exercise, and elastic resistance training. The balance, muscle strength, flexibility, and quality of life were measured before and after the program. The results were analyzed with paired t-test using the SPSS/WIN 26.0 program. Results: The dynamic balance, muscle strength, flexibility significantly increased. Conclusion: The health promotion program positively affected elderly women in terms of physical fitness, but there are limitations to increasing the quality of life of elderly women. Through this study, it is necessary to be supplemented in improving quality of life of elderly women.

하지근력의 좌우 비대칭성이 드롭랜딩 시 동적 안정성에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Asymmetric Muscle Force in the Lower Extremity on Dynamic Balance on during Drop Landing)

  • This study aims to analyse difference in biomechanical factors between dominant legs and recessive ones according to muscular imbalance during drop landing targeting talented children in sports. The subjects of the study were ten primary students who are attending to Sports Program for Talented Children organized by C university (age: $12.28{\pm}0.70$ year, height: $1.52{\pm}0.11$ m, and weight: $45.2{\pm}4.9$ kg). Strength legs were classified into dominant side and strengthless legs were classified into non-dominant legs. For three-dimensional analyses of the data collected, 6 video cameras(MotionMaster200, Visol, Korea) were used. To analyse ground reaction force, two force platforms(AMTI ORG-6, MA) were used and to analyse electromyograghy a 8-channeled wireless Noraxon Myoresearch made in USA was used at 1000 Hz for sampling. As a result, it was discovered that the dominants legs controlled knee bending motions more stably than strengthless legs as the maximum vertical ground reaction force was significantly high in dominant legs(p<.05), and joint moment of knee joints of the dominant legs was high(p<.05). Therefore, this study suggested that injury prevention program focusing on muscular balance as well as the existing sports programs for talented children should be developed based on results of the study and it is expected that the results will be useful for improvement of sports programs for talented children.

  • 연구는 체육계열 대학생이 인식한 경력개발지원과 구직강도의 관계에서 구직효능감의 매개효과의 관계를 규명하는데 목적이 있다. 이러한 연구 목적을 달성하기 위한 연구대상은 서울, 충남, 경상권에 소재한 대학교의 체육전공자 중 3, 4학년을 대상으로 223명의 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 20.0 프로그램을 이용하여 설문지의 신뢰도와 타당도검사, 상관분석을 실시하였으며, 경로분석은 AMOS 20.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석을 실시하였다. 이러한 과정을 통해 얻어진 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 체육계열 대학생이 인식한 경력개발지원은 구직효능감에는 통계적으로 정적인 영향을 미치고, 구직강도에는 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치지 못했다. 둘째, 체육계열 대학생의 구직효능감은 구직강도에 통계적으로 정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 체육계열 대학생이 인식한 경력개발지원과 구직강도 사이에서 구직효능감은 완전 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

Effects of Water Exercise on the Foot Pressure Distribution of a Female Adult with Hemiplegia: A Biomechanical Case Study

  • This case study was conducted to determine the effects of water exercise on the foot pressure distribution (FPD) of persons who have a hemiplegia. A 43-year old female with hemiplegia acquired at the age of 3 years was selected from a local disability program. A 12-week water exercise program (60 min. per session and twice a week) focusing on gait training was developed and implemented as the intervention of this study. A recent product of the Pedar-X (Novel, Germany) was used to measure the FPD of hemiplegic gait before and after the intervention. Variables considered in this study included the average pressure (AP), contact area (CA), maximum pressure (MP), ground reaction force (GRF), and center of pressure (COP). The data collected were analyzed via the descriptive statistics and qualitative analyses on the graphical presentations of the FPD. Results revealed that the AP and CA of the hemiplegic foot was considerably increased before and after the intervention. Similar results were also found in the MP and GRF. Additionally, the graphical route of the COP related to hemiplegic foot was changed in a positive way after the intervention. It can be concluded that water exercise may be beneficial to restore hemiplegic gait. Limitations related to measurement and generalizability are further discussed.

일 지역 대학생의 교양 교과 연계 흡연예방 및 금연교육 프로그램의 효과 (Effects of Education Program of Smoking Prevention and Cessation through the Linkages between Subjects of College Students in Some Area)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to effects of education program of smoking prevention and cessation through the linkages between subjects on smoking knowledge, grit, health promoting behaviors of college students in some area. Methods: A non-equivalent control group pre-post test design was used. The intervention group received the education program for 6 weeks from October 1 to November 15, 2019. The control group lived only usual daily life. Results: t-test showed that Smoking Knowledge (t=3.78, p<.001) and grit (t=3.75, p<.001) were significant differences between the two groups. In terms of health promotion behaviors, total(t=2.89, p=.002) and physical activity(t=3.20, p=.002), health responsibility(t=3.90, p<.001), spiritual growth(t=1.99, p=.049), interpersonal relations(t=2.61, p=.010) were significant difference between the two groups, in other hands nutrition(t=0.89, p=.372) and stress management(t=1.69, p=.092) were no significant difference between two groups. Conclusions: the education program of smoking prevention and cessation through the linkages between subjects was founded to be an effective education program in improving smoking Knowledge, grit, health promoting behaviors of college students in some area.

지역사회 청소년을 위한 소프트웨어 교육 기반 ESG 공학교육 사례 연구 (Case Study on ESG Engineering Education based on Software Education for Community Youth)

  • Recently, in terms of the future education, the need of the software education according to the 4th industrial revolution and the need of the ESG(environmental, social and governance) education according to social requests for sustainability are increasing at the same time. There may be a number of ways to satisfy the needs at the same time. In this paper, as an effort for meaningful implementation of the future education, a case study on the ESG engineering education based on the software education for community youth was analyzed and a future development direction was suggested. This ESG engineering education deals with the development and application of the program considering terms of target, method and implementation in order to enhance its systematicity and using physical computing and upcycling methods and a collaborative education support system. To verify the education program, a survey is performed and analyzed. Through this, the basis of an software education-based ESG engineering education model was established.

건강한 한국여성들을 대상으로 한 유방암 수술 후 물리치료 적용에 대한 인식도 조사 (Awareness of Physical Therapy Rehabilitation Program after Breast Cancer Surgery in Healthy Korean Women)

  • PURPOSE: The purpose this study was to investigate the awareness of physical therapy as one of rehabilitation interventions for post-operative women with breast cancer in healthy Korean women. METHODS: This study recruited 223 adult women aged 20 and older who never had breast cancer but received physical therapy. This study used a structured questionnaire consisting of 13 items in 3 fields designed to focus on socio-demographic characteristics, breast cancer experience of friends or family, and awareness of physical therapy as one of methods to improve rehabilitation of patients following breast cancer surgery. RESULTS: Among respondents who completed the survey, 62.8% were interested in breast cancer. However, 78.1% had never heard of physical therapy as a rehabilitation intervention for post-operative women with breast cancer. 44.4% believed that physical therapy is necessary after breast cancer surgery. 69.5% of the respondents were willing to participate in a physical therapy rehabilitation program if there were diagnosed with breast cancer, and 59.2% believed that the participation in this program would be beneficial. 42.9% acquired some information that physical therapy is one type of rehabilitation to improve physical condition for women with breast cancer from the Internet or television. In addition, education level affected interest and awareness of physical therapy for breast cancer. Awareness about breast cancer and physical therapy were higher among well-educated respondents. CONCLUSION: This study suggests that a physical therapy rehabilitation program is specifically developed, and correct information on it is provided to improve health condition in women following breast cancer surgery.

중년여성의 건강증진을 위한 단기교육과 강화요법 프로그램의 효과 (The Effects of the Short Term Education and Reinforcement Program to Health Promotion in Women in Mid-life)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of the short term education and reinforcement program to health promotion in women in mid-life. This study has been done between February and April, 2004 and the subjects of the study were 26 women in mid-life. The treatment intervention was applied during total 8 weeks as 5 days for the short term education and 7 weeks for reinforcement with 1 time per a week. The short term education included health education for menopause, effect of exercise, healthy diet, management of stress and management of chronic illness and stretching exercise and recreation. The collected data were processed using the SPSS Win(12.0) program and analyzed using Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. The result of this study are as follows : 1. The short term education and reinforcement program significantly effected on the total cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol, triglyceride. 2. The short term education and reinforcement program significantly effected on the anxiety, but not depression. 3. The short term education and reinforcement program non significantly effected on the sleep disturbance and self-efficacy of exercise. 4. The short term education and reinforcement program significantly effected on the practice of healthy life. In conclusion, the short term education and reinforcement program effected on the physical health index, anxiety and practice of healthy life.

자기효능증진법을 병용한 척추교정운동이 척추측만증 중학생의 신체적, 심리적 기능에 미치는 효과 (Effects of an Exercise Program Including Promotion of Self-Efficacy on the Physical and Psychological Functions of Middle School Students with Minimal Scoliosis)

  • Purpose: This study was done to identify the effects of an exercise correction program for scoliosis on the physical and psychological functions of middle-school students with scoliosis. Method: The design of this study was a nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design. The students who participated in the study were 45 middle school students with scoliosis. Twenty-four students were assigned to the experimental group and 21 to the control group. The treatment given to the experimental group was a scoliosis correction exercise program. The scoliosis correction exercise program was given 3 times a week for a period of 12 weeks. Result: For Cobb's angle, a significant decrease was observed in the experimental group. For flexibility, the sit-and-reach test showed a significant increase in the experimental group. For depression, self-esteem and body satisfaction, the difference between the two groups was not significant. Conclusion: Based on the above results, the effects of a spine correction exercise program produced a decrease in Cobb's angle and an increase in the sit-and-reach test for flexibility. This program is not expensive and is convenient, and thus has been identified as a good nursing intervention for correcting scoliosis.
