  • This review highlights the ontogenesis and the differentiation of motor neuron in spinal cord, and introduce the survival motor neuron(SMN) which is associated with growth and survival of motor neurons. The differentiation of floor plate cells and motor neurons in the vertebrate neural tube appears to be induced by signals from the notochord. This signal is Sonic hedgehog(Shh). The early development of motor neurons involves the inductive action of Shh. The SMN gene is essential for embryonic viability. SMN mRNA is also expressed in virtually all cell types in spinal cord, including large motor neurons. The SMN protein is involved in RNA processing and during early embryonic development is necessary fer cell survival. Two SMN genes are present in 5q 13 in humans: the telomeric gene(SMNt), which is the SMA-determining gene, and the centromeric analog gene(SMNc). The majority of transcripts from the SMNt gene are full length but, major transcripts of the SMNc gene have a high degrees of alternative splicing and tend to have little or no exon 7. The SMN is involved in the RNA processing(the biogenesis of snRNPs and pre-mRNA splicing), the anti-apoptotic effects, and regulating gene expression.

  • Purpose: The physical therapy diagnosis process requires high-level background knowledge, the ability to obtain added information from patients, accurate examination skills, and a framework for transforming thoughts into a diagnostic decision. Thus, the physical therapy diagnostic process is highly complicated and difficult work. To function as autonomous professionals, physical therapists must develop effective clinical diagnosis skills. As such, mobile application aids can help with accurate and scientific diagnoses. Therefore, this study aims to develop and evaluate the usability of a mobile application for physical therapy diagnoses. Methods: In this study, a diagnostic application was developed using App Inventor, the development environment was the Chrome web browser for Windows 10, and the mobile application was run on a Google Pixel 5. The developed application was evaluated for usability by 20 physical therapists with more than 5 years of clinical experience in the musculoskeletal physical therapy field, and a usability evaluation was conducted using a 5-point Likert scale for accuracy, convenience, satisfaction, and usability. The collected Likert scores were converted into percentages and analyzed as descriptive statistics. Results: The graphical user interface consisted of an initial screen with program guidance, 18 screens presenting the algorithm, and 12 screens presenting the estimated diagnosis based on the algorithm. As such, the usability evaluation of the developed application was as follows: accuracy 100%, convenience 90%, satisfaction 91%, and usability 88%. Conclusion: The newly developed mobile application for physical therapeutic diagnoses has a high accuracy, and it will aid in building an easy and reliable physical therapy diagnosis system.

  • The purpose of this study was to contribute to the development of clinical instruction by students ratings of teaching effectiveness in clinical education. The instrument used in this study was teaching effectiveness of clinical nursing by Yu and modified evaluation method by Kern and Mickelson. The results were are follows 1. Among the 12 categorial components of clinical teaching effectiveness, the highest satisfaction was 'encouraging to think for themselves' and the lowest was 'attitude of teacher and evaluation' 2. To compare teaching effectiveness between sex, 'resource for student' and 'professional competence' showed statistical significance. 3. To compare teaching effectiveness among clinical practice stage, 'encouraging' 'role model', 'professional competence', 'organization of subject mater' and 'attitude of teacher and evaluation' showed statistical significance. 5. Interrater ICCs for evaluation method did not showed statistical significance and interitem ICCs showed statistical significance. This article presents goal of clinical education, development of clinical instructor's educational program and a standardized method to measure clinical performance.

To cope with this situation, it is required for Korean port to prepare systematic and strategic measure as follows. First, the cooperation strategy is necessary to operate domestic port. Second, it is required to set strategy to construct infrastructure for physical distribution in the port. Third, it is necessary to consider inducing transshipment cargo and development of strategy for connected transportation network. Fourth, the system of international physical distribution centering around complex behind ports shall be constructed.

  • This study aims to make sustainable and future-oriented eco-archipelagic city through developed trend of analysis physical design method and correlation analysis between design method and development purpose for archipelagic development. First, EU cases had variety developed thema and identity such as science city, leisure and resort city, commercial city, ecology city in environmental theory aspects but, Korean cases have plenty of problems such as focused development of leisure and resort city for fund profit, imperfected native people's developed knowledge learning and understanding and figure out that they will not make to the sustainable development for islands of archipelagic. Second, as a in-depth analysis, the application of methods and developed trend were figured out by correlation analysis between physical design methods and development purpose through result(physical design methods) of case studies. As a result, contents and design methods from development purposes have to develop by multilateral aspects and also, native resident will have to require infrastructure expansion about service contents for smooth communication and sustainable information sharing.

  • With the rapid development of digital technologies potential exists to expand upon the accessibility of fashion archives and increase their use as a pedagogical tool for research. At present this is compromised due the three-dimensional, tactile nature of the objects being viewed and the fact that they are not necessarily replicable in a digital format. The aim of this paper is to examine art and design students physical object research skills and discuss how they are positioned in relation to creative tools and strategies they use to produce outcomes such as they own collections and design responses. Findings and conclusions are drawn from projects concerned with the development and use of physical and virtual archives and inform the methodology used. Traditional methods and tools within higher education are discussed together with students increased use of digital resources and innovative ways to engage students. The academic challenge of supporting student engagement in archival research across digital and physical dimensions is explored. The papers findings indicate a need for further research considering the impact of digital technology on students' physical integration with archives and the need for more structured support surrounding student physical and digital research investigations.
