열분해법에 의한 전력기기용 초전도 합성 기술에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Fabrication of Superconductor Using Pyrolysis Methods for Electric power Machinery)

  • A high Tc superconducting with a nominal composition of $Bi_2Sr_2Ca_2Cu_3O_Y$ was prepared by the citarte method. The solid precursor produced by the dehydration of the gel at 120$^{\circ}C$ for 12h is not in the amorphous state as expected but in a crystalline state. X-ray diffraction peaks of nearly the same angular position as the peaks of high Tc phase were observed in the precursor. After pyrolysis at 400$^{\circ}C$ and calcination at 840$^{\circ}C$ for 4h, the (001)peak of the high Tc phase was cleary observed. Experimental results suggest that the intermediate phase formed before the formation of the superconducting phase may be the most important factro in determining whether it is easy to form the high Tc phase or not, because the nucleation barriers of the two superconducting phase may be altered by the variation of the crystal structures of those intermediate phase.

  • This work deals with a switching method for minimizing overcurrent in a three-phase interleaved bidirectional DC-DC converter with frequency modulation. Generally, a three-phase interleaved DC-DC converter is used to reduce a current ripple component. The combined operation of three-phase and two-phase converters can significantly reduce the ripple component. However, the conventional PWM method cannot solve severe overcurrent during phase transfer or frequency variation for power control. To overcome this problem, this work proposes a new PWM switching method. A 3 kW DC-DC power converter is designed and implemented, and the converter is operated in discontinuous current mode with varying switching frequencies for power control. Simulation and experimental results show the validity of the proposed switching method. The proposed switching method can be widely used in the field of current ripple reduction for three-phase interleaved bidirectional DC-DC converters.

  • The rotated bending fatigue test was conducted in air md in 3.5% NaCl salt solution to investigate the fatigue fracture behaviour of raw material and F.E.M dual phase steel made from raw material(SS41) by a suitable heat treatment. This study has compared the initial microcrack creation of material by tensile test with that by fatigue test. And the rotated bending test of cantilever type under the condition of 3.5% NaCl salt solution and air has investigated the corrosion fatigue fracture behaviour with the variation of stress concentration factor determined by each of notch shapes. The initial microcrack have been developed in fragile grainboundary with general corrosion occurring in raw material : in the pits built up by corrosion in F.E.M. dual phase steel because pits bring out stress concentration. It is small that the degree of decrease in corrosion fatigue life for F.E.M. dual phase steel compared with raw material because the notch sensitivity of F.E.M. dual phase steel is lower than raw material in reason of characteristics with two-phase construction.

  • This paper proposes a new measurement method using virtual power concept to measure the effective value of 3-phase voltage with variable frequency. The conventional effective value measurement method uses a method of integrating data sampled during one or half cycle of the power voltage and averaging it. In this method, since the effective voltage is calculated every cycle, a time delay occurs in the measured effective voltage and it is s a problem to measure the effective value of a device whose frequency varies from time to time, such as a generator. The proposed 3-phase voltage rms measurement method has an advantage that it can measure accurate voltage RMS value regardless of measurement frequency variation. In particular, there is an advantage in that it is possible to measure a 3-phase effective voltage rather than an average value of the effective voltage of each phase in a 3-phase unbalance voltage. In addition, the validity of the proposed method is verified by using the Psim simulation tool and the experimental results are analyzed by applying the proposed measurement algorithm to the actual three phase synchronous generator voltage measurement experiment.

Experimental study on single- and two-phase flow behaviors within porous particle beds

  • In this study, the pressure drop behavior of single- and two-phase flows of air and water through the porous beds filled with uniform and non-uniform sized spherical particles was examined. The pressure drop data in the single-phase flow experiments for the uniform particle beds agreed well with the original Ergun correlation. The results from the two-phase flow experiments were analyzed using numerical results based on three types of previous models. In the experiments for the uniform particle beds, the data on the two-phase pressure drop clearly showed the effect of the flow regime transition with a variation in the gas flow rate under stagnant liquid condition. The numerical analyses indicated that the predictability of the previous models for the experimental data relied mainly on the sub-models of the flow regime transitions and interfacial drag. In the experiments for the non-uniform particle beds, the two-phase pressure loss could be predicted well with numerical calculations based on the effective particle diameter. However, the previous models failed to accurately predict the counter-current flooding limit observed in the experiments. Finally, we propose a relation of falling liquid velocity into the particle bed by gravity to appropriately simulate the CCFL phenomenon.

GENERAL FAMILIES OF CHAIN RATIO TYPE ESTIMATORS OF THE POPULATION MEAN WITH KNOWN COEFFICIENT OF VARIATION OF THE SECOND AUXILIARY VARIABLE IN TWO PHASE SAMPLING

  • In this paper we have suggested a family of chain estimators of the population mean $\bar{Y}$ of a study variate y using two auxiliary variates in two phase (double) sampling assuming that the coefficient of variation of the second auxiliary variable is known. It is well known that chain estimators are traditionally formulated when the population mean $\bar{X}_1$ of one of the two auxiliary variables, say $x_1$, is not known but the population mean $\bar{X}_2$ of the other auxiliary variate $x_2$ is available and $x_1$ has higher degree of positive correlation with the study variate y than $x_2$ has with y, $x_2$ being closely related to $x_1$. Here the classes are constructed when the population mean $\bar{X}_1\;of\;X_1$ is not known and the coefficient of variation $C_{x2}\;of\;X_2$ is known instead of population mean $\bar{X}_2$. Asymptotic expressions for the bias and mean square error (MSE) of the suggested family have been obtained. An asymptotic optimum estimator (AOE) is also identified with its MSE formula. The optimum sample sizes of the preliminary and final samples have been derived under a linear cost function. An empirical study has been carried out to show the superiority of the constructed estimator over others.

레이더 센서용 발진기의 양산성 향상에 관한 연구 (A Study on Improving Mass Production of the Radar Sensor Oscillator)

  • 본 논문에서는 써미스터를 이용한 온도보상회로를 이용하여 레이더 센서의 양산성을 향상시킬 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다. 레이더 센서에 사용되는 DRO(Dielectric Resonator Oscillator)의 유전체공진기를 제거한 후, FET의 게이트에 적절한 바이어스전압을 인가할 수 있는 온도보상회로를 이용하여 정확한 발진주파수를 조정하는데 필요한 시간을 절약함으로써 양산이 용이하도록 하였는데, 본 논문에서 제안한 방법으로 제작한 레이더 센서의 출력주파수는 $-20^{\circ}C-+55^{\circ}C$의 온도범위에서 15.67MHz의 변화량을 보였으며, 출력크기의 변화는 0.65dB, 위상잡음 특성은 1MHz에서 -105.47dBc로 같은 온도범위에서 25MHz의 출력주파수 변화, 0.42dB의 출력크기 변화, -107.40 dBc의 위상잡음 특성을 보이는 유전체공진기를 이용한 발진기보다 우수하거나 비슷한 특성을 나타내었다.

다중 전극 Index-Coupled DFB 레이저에서 결합 세기 및 각 영역의 길이가 Self-Pulsation 동작 특성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of varying the coupling strength and section length on the self-pulsation characteristics of multisection index-coupled DFB lasers)

  • 두 개의 DFB 영역과 위상 조정 영역으로 구성된 다중 전극 index-coupled DFB 레이저에서 self-pulsation 동작 특성을 수치 해석으로 분석하였다. 금지 대역폭 내에 존재하는 전체 공진기 모드 수가 감소할수록 두 DFB 영역의 브래그 파장 차이인 $\Delta$λ$_{B}$가 변화할 때 발진 모드의 호핑이 발생하는 경우의 수가 적어져 pulsation 주파수가 불연속적으로 변화하는 경우의 수가 감소한다. 또한 고정된 $\Delta$λ$_{B}$에 대하여 위상 조정 영역의 위상이 변화할 때 pulsation 주파수가 연속적으로 변화한다. 결합 세기와 위상 조정 영역의 길이가 고정되어 있을 때 금지 대역폭 내에 존재하는 전체 공진기 모드의 수는 DFB 영역의 길이가 길수록 감소한다. 반면에 DFB 영역의 결합 세기와 길이가 고정되어 있을 때 금지 대역폭 내에 존재하는 전체 공진기 모드의 수는 위상 조정 영역의 길이가 작을수록 감소한다. 따라서 결합 세기 및 각 영역의 길이를 적절히 조정하면 $\Delta$λ$_{B}$ 또는 위상조정 영역의 위상이 변화하여도 모드 호핑이 발생하지 않아 안정된 pulsation 동작을 얻을 수 있음을 보였다.을 보였다.

시각장애 아동의 보행 시 하지의 운동역학적 분석 (Kinetic analysis of the lower limb in visual handicap children)

  • 이 연구는 시각장애 아동과 비 장애 아동의 보행형태를 비교 분석하여 하지분절의 생체역학적 변화와 패턴 및 이에 대한 시각장애 아동과 비 장애 아동의 차이를 구명하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 하지에 최근 6개월간 병적 결함이 없는 시각장애 아동 4명과 비 장애 아동 2명을 선정하였다. 두 그룹의 보행 특성에 관한 자료 수집을 위해 적외선 카메라 6대와 지면반력기 1대를 사용하였다. 또한 기초자료 수집은 QTM프로그램을 이용하였고, Visual3D 프로그램을 이용하여 운동역학적 변인을 계산하였으며 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 지지국면의 전 후 최대 지면반력은 제어기와 추진기 모두 시각장애 아동이 비 장애 아동에 비하여 지면반력이 작게 나타났으며, 제어기의 비율이 추진기에 비하여 긴것으로 나타났다. 하지관절 모멘트의 경우 발목에서는 일반적인 보행에 비하여 신전모멘트가 매우 작게 나타났으며, 무릎관절의 경우 지지국면동안 변화가 거의 없는 것으로 나타나 일반적인 보행 패턴과 상이한 결과로 나타났다. 그러나 엉덩관절 모멘트는 다른 관절에 비하여 상대적으로 크게 나타났다. 하지분절의 에너지 변화는 발과 정강이의 경우 비 장애 아동과 유사한 형태를 보였으나 에너지 발현이 매우 작은 것으로 나타났으며, 대퇴의 발현 형태는 다소 다르지만 다른 분절에 비하여 가장 에너지가 많이 발생하는 것으로 나타났다.
