결합 특성과 유도성 슬릿을 이용한 새로운 구조의 Wilkinson 전력분배기 설계 (Design of the Modified Wilkinson Power Divider Using Coupling and Inductive Slit)

  • 본 논문에서는 기존의 Wilkinson 전력 분배기의 1/4 파장 정합 선로를 유도성 슬릿이 삽입된 3가닥 결합 구조로 구현함으로써 점유면적을 줄이고 전기적 특성을 개선시킨 새로운 구조의 전력 분배기를 제안하였다. 정합 선로의 결합 구조로 인해 발생하는 전기적 특성과 위상의 변화를 유도성 슬릿과 선로의 길이 조정으로 보상하였다. 삽입된 유도성 슬릿의 인덕턴스 값은 폭과 깊이에 의해 결정되는데, 인덕턴스의 최적화를 통하여 상호 커패시턴스를 보상함으로써 전기적 특성을 향상시킬 수 있었다. 제작된 전력 분배기는 중심 주파수 f= 1.75 GHz에서 입,출력 단 반사 특성이 각각 -34.2 dB, -34.3 dB를 나타내었고 출력 단간 격리도 특성은 -36.7 dB를 나타내어 기존의 것에 비해 수치적으로 우수한 특성을 유지하였다. 크기 면에서도 3가닥 결합 구조로 구현함에 따라 2차원적인 점유면적을 기존의 약 1/3배로 줄였다.

A Novel Stator Hybrid Excited Doubly Salient Permanent Magnet Brushless Machine for Electric Vehicles

  • In this paper, a novel stator hybrid excited doubly salient permanent magnet (SHEDS-PM) brushless machine with a special magnetic bridge is proposed for the first time. The originality of this machine is purposely to add a magnetic bridge in shunt with each PM pole, which not only maintains the stator lamination in its entireness, but also amplifies the effect of DC field flux on PM flux. An equivalent magnetic circuit is presented to clarify the novelty. Based on the 2-D finite element analysis, the static characteristics of the SHEDS-PM machine, namely phase flux linkage, back-EMF, cogging torque, winding inductance and static torque are deduced. The corresponding results on a prototype machine illustrate that the proposed machine is promising for application to electric vehicles.

  • In this paper, the different techniques for the field weakening, also known as constant power speed range (CPSR) operation, for permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) will be introduced and analysed. Field weakening of PMSM, can be done using either vector control (VC) or conventional phase in advance (CPA). Implementation of these techniques depending on some features and constrains. Most of these features and constrains came from the motor parameters. One of these constrains is the motor inductance which determining whether the motor can be driven in the CPSR or not. A new approach for the field weakening will be discussed and to be verified to overcome this constrain. The new approach will be verified through both techniques VC and CPA.

  • 본 논문은 비대칭 2상 SRM의 센서리스 속도제어를 위한 초기각 검출 및 초기 기동방식과 자속관측기를 적용한 센서리스 제어에서 전동기의 온도 및 파라미터 변동에 의한 자속 오차 성분으로 인해 발생하는 위치 추정오차를 보상하기 위한 새로운 보상기를 제안한다. 제안된 방식은 전압펄스 인가로 초기각을 검출하고 검출된 초기 위치정보를 바탕으로 동일한 전압펄스 인가를 통해 비여자상이 여자상이 되는 회전자 위치를 검출하여 상여자를 교체하는 초기기동을 통해 자속관측기를 적용한 센서리스 제어로 안정적으로 진입하도록 한다. 이 때, 제안된 추정위치 보상기를 통해 추정된 센서리스 위치를 순시적으로 보상한다.

  • This paper presents a novel DC-DC Converter for 3 [kW] Fuel Cell System Residential Application. Phase shifted control is employed to regulate the output voltage and achieve soft switching. The transformer leakage inductance is utilized effectively to achieve zero voltage turn on for the power semiconductor switches. The current doubler rectifier has only one diode drop. The transformer secondary winding current rating is one half the load current. The overall effciency of the converter is improved.

  • This paper discusses the effects of CD type superconducting cable operation in 22.9kV multi neutral grounded distribution system during L-G fault and counterplans to power system protection. In case of using the 3-phase CD-type superconducting cable, the inductance of superconducting cable system would be decreased due to the current of shield part of superconducting cable, which is opposite direction and nearly equal value with respect to main superconductor. However, when the shield circuit system is operated in shorted state, shield current decreases faulted ground current and give effects to power system protection scheme. This study examines the phenomena of single line to ground fault case in above mentioned system using the EMTDC program and discusses the right operation method of superconducting shield.

  • This paper describes a indirect sensing method for the rotor flux position of interior permanent magnet (IPM) brushless DC motors. The phase inductance of an IPM motor varies appreciably according to the rotor position. The waveform characteristics of the terminal voltage of IPM brushless DC motors is analysed and a simple and practical method for indirect sensing of the rotor position is proposed. A compact sensorless drive is implemented and tested using a 87c196mc 16-bit microcomputer. The experimental results show the validity of the proposed method and the drive works well from 500 to 7,200rpm.

  • A reluctance motor is a electric machine in which torque is produced by the tendency of its movable part to move to a position where the inductance of the excited winding is maximized. This means physical fact that the energy stored in the field tend to be minimized as the energy stored in the field is converted the mechanical work. In this paper, we have studied the characteristics of the electromagnetic energy conversion about SRM which have 6 stator and 4 rotor poles with 3 phase. In addition we design the fundamental model of SRM with requirements(e.g. power, speed) and simulate with PC-SRD.

  • This paper presents design and characteristics analysis of transverse flux switched reluctance generator(TFSRG) for wind turbine. Dimension is calculated by using output equation and maximum magnetomotive force(mmf) equation per pole. Design specification within effective range of mechanical and electrical energy is suggested in order to perform the analysis. it is confirmed to torque, inductance and induced electromotive force(emf) for one phase through three dimension Finite Element Analysis. Then design specification can be verified by comparing with proposed specification.

  • Transient in an electrical system are generated by lightning and switching. This paper presents analysis of switching and lightning surge, and means of limiting the voltage magnification transient for high voltage power systems by using EDSA's EMTAP software package. One means of limiting the voltage magnification transient is to convert the end-user power factor correction banks to harmonic filters. An inductance in series with the power factor correction bank was used to decrease the transient voltage at the customer bus to acceptable levees. The interception of the impulse from the phase wire is fairly straight forward by properly installed surge arresters. The simulation shows that the addition of the surge arrester at the customer location can achieve a substantial reduction of the transient magnitude.
