농가의 병해충 관리 현황 이해를 위한 설문조사 결과 (Survey Results to Understand the Current Status of Pest Management in Farms)

  • 한국농수산대학 재학생 및 졸업생 151명을 대상으로 병해충 관리 현황을 조사하기 위해 설문조사를 수행하였다. 설문 내용은 기본문항과 병해충 관리 문항으로 구성되어 있다. 기본문항에는 응답자의 연령, 학적상태, 재배작물, 재배면적등을 포함하고 있으며, 병해충 관리 문항에는 병해충 방제 방법, 농약 선택 근거, 병해충 예찰 방법 등을 포함하고 있다. 기본문항의 응답을 요약하면 전체 응답자 중에서 20대 응답자가 91.2%로 가장 높았고, 응답자의 재배 면적은 3헥터 이상이 34.5%로 가장 높은 비중을 차지하고 있었다. 병해충 관리 문항의 응답을 요약하면 병해충 관리 방식에서는 화학적 방제법이 66%로 가장 높은 비중을 차지하였다. 농약 선택 근거에서는 본인 스스로 기존의 방제 기술을 토대로 결정(30%)하거나 농약 판매상(29%)의 결정을 따랐다. 병해충 예찰 방법은 농촌진흥청 소속기관(29%)과 국가농작물병해충관리시스템(27%)을 활용하는 것으로 나타났다. 농약 판매상의 병해충 진단과 농약 처방에 대한 질문에 응답자의 97%가 보통 이상의 신뢰도를 보였으나 강한 신뢰도를 선택한 경우는 전혀 없었다. 병해충 진단 및 농약 처방을 위한 전문인력 양성 필요성에 대해서는 응답자의 79%가 높은 필요성이 있는 것으로 응답하였는데, 특히, 응답자의 47%는 매우 강한 필요성이 있다고 응답하였다. 이러한 결과는, 병해충 진단과 농약 처방을 위한 정교한 기술을 지닌 병해충 관리를 위한 전문인력이 농업 현장에 필요함을 의미한다. 농민의 시각에서 조사한 설문 결과는 병해충 관리 현황을 이해하고 향후 발전 방향을 제시하는 데 중요한 정보를 제공해 줄 것이다.

친환경농업 해충방제용 제제의 현황과 전망, 그리고 산업화의 중요성 (Status and Future Prospects of Pest Control Agents in Environmentally-friendly Agriculture, and Importance of their Commercialization)

  • The use of bioactive materials derived from microorganisms and plants has played a role in pest management in environmentally-friendly agriculture (EFA) system. In Korea, a number of agricultural agents for the control of insect pests have been registered officially as biopesticides and marketed widely. However, most of the biopesticides has a limitation in the resource availability of bioactive materials, which has been one of main problems related to the commercialization of agricultural agents. Plant materials and microbial metabolites are the best sources as starting components to commercialize natural-occurring agricultural agents for pest management. The lack of modernized system for the standardization and quality control of the starting materials, however, has also received as a main problem related to the commercialization of agricultural agents. Considered that EFA business has kept growing bigger and bigger with global economic status, the commercialization of agricultural agents is necessary to meet the required number of agricultural agents officially available in EFA. This study describes the status and future prospects of pest control agents in EFA. A number of main issues hindered in the commercialization of agricultural agents are discussed in order to present a promising approach to successful commercialization.

Sampling, Surveillance and Forecasting of Insect Population for Integrated Pest Management in Sericulture

  • Pest monitoring through field surveys and surveillance helps in forecasting the population build up of pest. It reduces the load of pesticides application and forms the basis of Integrated Pest Management in sericulture. Common sampling techniques for quantifying pest populations and damage caused by them are reviewed emphasizing the need for quick and simple sampling methods. Various direct and indirect sampling methods for establishing pest populations are discussed and methods have been discussed to use indirect sampling method under IPM programme in sericulture. The use of pheromone lures and traps forms one of the important ingredients of integrated pest management, which calls for integration of all available methods in a cost effective and environmental friendly manner offering consistent efficacy. Silk-worms feed on the variety of silk host plants and spin cocoons. Each silk host plant is attacked in the field by number of insect pest species. Several pests are common to mulberry, tasar, oak tasar, muga and eri host plant but pest status and seasonal abundance differs from each crop. The key pests are serious perennially occurring persistent species which cause considerable yield loss every year on large areas and require control measure. Regular occurrence of minor pest is noticed but sudden increase in its population is not known. The occasional pests are sporadic but potential causing sufficient damage. Silk losses due to attack of all the pests have not been calculated. However, information on pest biology and ecology, and control practices being practiced is available but the period of outbreak of major pests and predators on silkworms and its host plant needs to be reinvestigated. Pest and predators forecasting based on surveillance information may provide an opportunity to minimize the losses, particularly to reduce expenditure involved in pest management.

국내 산림해충 페로몬 연구현황과 발전 방향 (Current Status of Pheromone Research of Forest Insect Pests in Korea and Development Direction)

  • 페로몬을 비롯한 화학통신물질들은 곤충의 화학 통신에 이용되는 물질들로 개체군 모니터링, 대량 포획 및 교미교란 등에 폭넓게 이용되고 있다. 본 종설에서는 북방수염하늘소, 솔수염하늘소, 솔껍질깍지벌레, 광릉긴나무좀, 회양목명나방, 솔알락명나방, 매미나방, 복숭아유리나방, 별박이자나방 등 국내 주요 산림해충의 페로몬 연구현황을 소개하고 국외의 연구 결과와 비교하였다. 국내 연구현황 분석을 통해 추후 산림해충 페로몬 연구 방향을 제시하고 발전 방향에 대해 제언하였다.

  • According to the research of the cultivation result on the spot farmers for 5 years in order to investigate its cultivation conditions and problems of Lycium chinetrse Mill, the development of the variety with early mature, pest tolerance, and high yielding is urgent and it is call for the development of rooted cutting cultivation by testing of bed soil, growth regulator and cutting times. The development of cultivation method with planting year, planting density, supplementary period and amounts of supplementary of Lycium chinense Mill planted in growing field are required and for the disease and the effective control of disease and insect pest resistance is needed by auxotrophic fertilizing and organic agricultural method, met by agricultural chemicals.

부산지역 초등학교 급식시설,설비의 소독실태 및 영향요인 -영양사, 조리종사원 및 급식소 특성에 따른- (Disinfection State and Effective Factors of Foodservice Facilities and Utilities of Elementary Schools in Busan -Based on the Characteristics of Dietitian, Employee and Foodservice-)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate disinfection state and effective factors of foodservice facilities and utilities of elementary schools in Busan area. Foodservice facilities and utilities investigated in this study were ceiling, wall, floor, trench, greasetrap, hood, pest and dumb waiter. The questionnaire which was administered to 196 dietitians was used as a survey method. The results were as follows. The washing method of foodservice facilities and utilities was mainly used by detergent washing-natural dry. The disinfection method of foodservice facilities and utilities was mainly sanitized by sodium hypochlorite. Dumb waiter and hood were sanitized by 70% ethyl alcohol and iodine. In washing and disinfection frequencies of foodservice facilities and utilities ceiling was twice/year, wall, hood and pest control facilities were once/week, floor, trench, greasetrap and dumb waiter were everyday, respectively. Floor, trench, greasetrap and dumb waiter were disinfected properly, whereas ceiling, wall, hood and pest were not disinfected properly. The washing method was related to dietitian's marital status and education. The disinfection state was related to dietitian's age and career, having of sanitation check list. The disinfection method was also affected dietitian's marital status, number of employee, duration of foodservice, number of total serving and having of sanitation check list. Therefore based on the results of this study, it should be given to the microbiological study on disinfection of facilities and utilities such as ceiling, wall, floor, trench, greasetrap, hood, pest and dumb waiter and the dietitian and employee's sanitation training also should be conducted continuously.

육계농장에서 외미거저리(Alphitobius diaperinus) 발생양상 보고 (Infestation Status of the Darkling Beetle (Alphitobius diaperinus) in Broiler Chicken Houses of Korea)

  • 딱정벌레목(Coleoptera) 거저리과(Tenebrionidae)에 속하는 외미거저리(Alphitobius diaperinus (Panzer))는 저장곡물해충의 하나로 알려져 있지만, 대부분 이미 피해를 받은 곡물을 섭식하기 때문에 경제적으로 심각한 위협을 초래할 정도는 아니다. 그러나 이 외미거저리 해충은 많은 나라의 가금산업에서 매우 중요한 해충으로 간주되고 있다. 우리나라의 육계농장에서도 외미거저리가 발생하여 문제를 야기하고 있음이 확인되었고, 이 해충의 발생으로 야기되는 문제로는 육계농장의 보온효과 및 병아리의 전반적인 활력을 떨어뜨리고, 병원균을 전염시킴으로써 가금업자에게 상당한 경제적 손실을 가져다주고 있다. 한편, 육계농장에서 이 외미거저리 개체군을 한 가지 방법으로 완전히 제거하기가 쉽지 않기 때문에 적절한 방제방법을 개발하기 위한 노력이 절실하다.

솔잎혹파리의 생태와 방제전략 (The Eclogy of the Pine Needle Gall Midge (Thecodiplosis japonensis Uchida et Inouye) ana Its Control Strategies)

  • The pine needle gall midge, Therodiplosis japonensis Uchida et Inouye, is the most important insect pest. It requires two different habitats for the development; on trees and under the ground. The habitat specific mortality rates ere $30\~40\%,\;and\;50\~60\%$ for the respective habitats. The key developmental stage is the prepupa, and the key mortality factor is the moisture contents of the soil and its variability. Since the insect is an exotic, the population status is the periphery and in the source of infestation are considerably different. Such a difference in habitats and the population status of the insect should be considered in relation to suppression of the insect. The control strategies should be directional and rational based on the reality of the pest status. There have been substantial information on the control methods of the pine needle gall midge, and each control method has an important place, but none has always provided a satisfactory solution to the many problems associated by this insect. These methods should be applied to a system based on the ecology of the insect. There should be continued support for directed effort on the development of operational management systems for the insect: specifically, estmation of the critical economic injury level, and of the absolute density of the insect.

계층분석을 활용한 창의적 SW인재양성 정책방향 도출 (Derivation of Creative SW HRD Policy Using Analytic Hierarchy Process)

  • 최근 들어 SW산업이 모바일과 클라우드 기술환경으로 패러다임이 급격하게 변화하고 있는데, 국내 SW인력양성의 현황 및 문제점을 PEST-SWOT분석을 통해 PEST요인과 연계하여 내외부 환경요인을 도출하였다. 또한 산학연 전문가를 대상으로 AHP모형을 적용한 설문조사를 하여 실증 분석한 결과, 스마트 산업 생태계의 변화에 대응하기 위한 SW인재 양성정책 방향으로서 SW융합인재 양성, 창의성이 요구되는 SW분야 대학교육 내실화, 글로벌 인재양성 및 교류, 인프라인 SW벤처생태계 활성화 등을 도출하였다. 그리고 AHP모형으로 SW인재정책비전에 대한 정책우선순위를 분석한 결과, SW기술 활용증대에 따른 SW융합인재 양성, SW벤처 생태계 활성화, SW창업 활성화를 통한 일자리 창출, SW분야 대-중소기업 상생발전 조성, 창의적 SW인재양성, 글로벌 우수인재 확보 순으로 중요도가 높았다.
