In fact, there is a urgent need to set clear roles and responsibilities for them. This study scrutinizes how to disaster managers should behave in specific setting that differentiates from other administrative managers based on domestic and foreign literature review. Although, the role of disaster manager seem to be similar to administrative manager, there are some differences particularly in the areas that disaster manager has to work as an expert in saving lives and properties that has to be further emphasized. When working on disaster management process of prevention and resoration, the key task are based on mid and low level officers. On the other hand, preparedness and response process that involve rapid decision making and cooperation with other department, persuasion of local residents and resource pooling are carried out by mid and high level managers because it requires control capacity and decision making skills.

  • Pictorial Images are often used when persuading someone, since people believe that photographs tell us what happened in reality. This paper aims to strengthen the role of pictorial images as a powerful method of persuasion through interpolating sensibility, which is a key factor in decision making, into the pictorial images. This paper analyses the structure of sensibility in pictorial images, in order to draw out specific factors that arouse positive impression. Furthermore, intensional meanings were given to various factors that compose the sensibility of pictorial images, and the factors are prioritized to enhance applicability. Recognitions of the sensibility in pictorial images differ due to diverse variables, but the photographed subjects themselves and the specific attributes of picture quality are the primary factors that influence the recognition. In order to achieve general and detailed results, broadly selected shooting subjects and images that have various picture quality attributes.

  • In the sustainable waste management, the necessity of environmental education which improves acquisition of the knowledge, attitudes and values for the environment is being emphasized to help students make environmentally desirable decision and promote responsible environmental behavior. However, the environmental education in high schools, as a whole, would be susceptible to many problems caused by tile educational administration focusing only on the college entrance examination. Therefore, this study modifies and applies a program using four teaching/learning methods (Investigation study, Internet-based learning, Field work, Issue analysis study) which deals with the sustainable waste management as the learning subject for the environmental education, and tries to find its effects on the students' environmental sensitivity and environmental conservation behavior in high schools. The main results of this study are summarized as fellows. First, the waste management program had little influence on the environmental sensitivity of experimental groups, while it had positive effect on their improvement of the environmental conservation behavior. Second, there were little meaningful effect on general environmental conservation behavior, but there were some significant results to environmental conservation behavior related to the sustainable waste management. In addition, positive results were found in ecomanagement and consumerism, whereas there were no meaningful results about in persuasion and legal action, which were sub-domains of the waste management program. Among the waste management programs, the school waste investigation study had the most positive effect on the students' recognition and solution of environmental problems as well as improvement of environmental conservation behavior. The easiest one of the four teaching/learning methods was the Internet-based learning, while the most difficult one of them was the issue analysis study. Consequently, in order to achieve the goals of the environmental education in the academic field, there has to be selected the most suitable one of the teaching/learning methods and to be applied to the class, according to the detailed objectives and loaming contents for the environmental education.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze how the experiences of nurses influence their role model function when they are mothers of children who in turn have become nurses or nursing students. Method: The subjects of this study were 12 nurses, 8 of their children who became nurses and another 4 children then in training to become one. Data were collected through in-depth personal interviews and subsequently analyzed through a phenomenological approach. Results: Four main themes were identified as follows; 'Persuasion and dissuasion,' 'Proud but still pathetic,' 'As mom and senior nurse' and 'Great to pass it down.' Conclusion: The results of this study show that the nurse as mother could be a positive professional role model for her children. However, they tended to stress the arduous clinical routines and poor work conditions nurses currently experience. Should such routines and conditions improve, mothers who are nurses would be more willing to recommend the nursing profession to their children. Improving the professional environment is thus important because intergeneration nursing mobility provides a reliable resource to recruit qualified and dedicated nursing personnel.

The level of morale according to the general variables were significantly different in such variables ; home care nursing antecedent(p = .000), motivation for job selection(p= .030), intention to quit the job(P= .000). Variables of intention to quit the job(15.7%) and home care nursing antecedent; 6.7%(p=.001) showed 22.4% of explanatory persuasion effect on level of morale. • While the short term effect of diet and exercise therapy has been proven, there has still been a problem of its long term effect. So, researchers has utilized behaviour modification therapy. It is expected to lead to natural weight loss by modifying wrong dietary life patterns and practices. However, this approach has turned out to be a more effective method for weight maintenance than loss of weight. In spite of its strength, as a matter of fact, persistent and continuous effort for weight management has not worked properly. This study proposes an artificial intelligence approach with the advantages of behaviour modification therapy, overcoming current approaches which is goal-driven and too uniform. For this, we plan to develop a health management program in which users get the messages that are customized for themselves according to different situations so that it can promotes persistent effort for exercise. Here, customized messages are handled by AI techniques, which eventually promotes soft persuasion, encouragement, and motivation.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a self-directed e-learning program for ICU nurses and to evaluate how the proposed e-learning program affects the level of knowledge, nursing performance and job satisfaction of ICU nurses. Methods: The e-learning program was developed with the Computer Assisted Instruction Design Model using sources of self-efficacy which included the inactive attainment, vicarious experience, and verbal persuasion of ICU nurses. The program was evaluated by experts. Following the revision of the program, it was applied to a total of 59 ICU nurses (experimental group n=29, control group n=30) from three hospitals. Four weeks later, we measured the level of knowledge, nursing performance and job satisfaction. Results: The level of knowledge significantly improved in the experimental group (t=5.691, p<.001). Moreover, the level of nursing performance significantly increased in the areas of circulatory diagnostic test (t=2.143, p=.039), EKG (t=2.911, p=.006), aortic balloon pump (t=2.491, p=.017), and nebulizer therapy (t=2.085, p=.044). Overall, job satisfaction did not significantly increase (t=1.664, p=.105); however, job satisfaction in terms of relationships with coworkers (t=2.371, p=.023) and the needs of nursing performance (t=2.940, p=.006) were significantly increased. Conclusion: The results showed that the proposed e-learning program using sources of self-efficacy from ICU nurses was an effective learning method to increase the level of knowledge and nursing performance. The propose de-learning program would be a useful teaching tool for ICU nurses improving the quality of ICU patient care.
