  • This study aimed to examine the operations of school food services to prevent the spread of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in schools nationwide. The survey data on school food service operations targeting nutrition teachers and nutritionists at 1,023 schools in 2020 and 1,177 schools in 2021 were used. The year 2021 saw an increase compared to 2020 in the following: 'average days to be served with meals for a year (144.5 vs. 184.7)', 'provided meals to all students (92.3% vs. 96.6%)', 'utilization of additional staff for foodservice assistance (33.4% vs. 38.8%)', 'installation of partitions (61.2% vs. 83.8%)', 'provision of general diet (96.1% vs. 99.1%)', and 'use of kitchen utensils (91.3% vs. 95.1%)', 'use of cafeteria water cup (9.9% vs. 31.0%)' and 'use of drinking water in school (46.8% vs. 52.1%)'. Compared to 2020, in 2021, it was confirmed that the school food service operations stabilized due to the increase in the normal school attendance rate and that systems were in place for operations during the COVID-19 pandemic. In the future, it will be necessary to develop manuals and special recipes necessary for responding to infectious diseases, and to operate a manpower pool that can quickly find replacement personnel if required.

  • Recently, the abnormal weather events and crop damages occurred frequently likely due to climate change. The importance of meteorological data in agricultural research is increasing. Researchers can download weather observation data by accessing the websites provided by the KMA (Korea Meteorological Administration) and the RDA (Rural Development Administration). However, there is a disadvantage that multiple inquiry work is required when a large amount of meteorological data needs to be received. It is inefficient for each researcher to store and manage the data needed for research on an independent local computer in order to avoid this work. In addition, even if all the data were downloaded, additional work is required to find and open several files for research. In this study, data collected by the KMA and RDA were uploaded to GitHub, a remote storage service, and a package was created that allows easy access to weather data using Python. Through this, we propose a method to increase the accessibility and usability of meteorological data for agricultural personnel by adopting a method that allows anyone to take data without an additional authentication process.

  • The path to becoming a cytotechnologist (also known as a cytologist) in the United States of America (USA) requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree and the completion of a training program certified by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs. Aspirants are recognized as cytologists after passing a test administered by the American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification on completion of a recognized cytotechnology training program. Cytotechnology training programs are currently provided by 18 universities and hospitals. Six of them provide master's level education, unifying existing programs to the master's level, which is necessitated due to a shortage of pathologists and the rapid development of the health care system. The improvement and unification of the curriculum, qualification renewal system, and the effort to change the title of qualified personnel from cytotechnologist to cytologist are seen as measures that would strengthen the capabilities of cytotechnologists as well as assist in keeping pace with the rapidly changing medical system. Knowledge about the educational courses available for cytotechnologists and the efforts to strengthen their expertise in the USA would be helpful to professors who guide students preparing for overseas employment and seeking professional improvement in Korea.

  • CF video content refers to various types of advertising content provided through TV media. CF video content includes various types of videos as well as promotion of products and brand companies. CF video content is often produced with relatively small personnel, and in many cases, it is produced without properly reflecting viewer preference factors. Therefore, it is necessary to increase viewers' viewing satisfaction through various studies on the method of directing motion typography suitable for the production of CF video content. To this end, the preference was investigated by classifying the visual components of motion typography, and the limitations of motion typography were found by the object and design analysis. For the specific analysis, based on a review of previous studies on the preference of CF video content, a questionnaire was conducted for viewers or users centering on the CFTV site, and the observation model was also intended to find preference factors focusing on Motion Typography Effect Analysis. This factor analysis is intended to activate various CF image contents in the future and to enhance the wide effect of motion typography.

So the pubic has become acutely aware of the need for fast and effective emergency care delivery system. The goal of emergency care delivery system is to meet the emergency care needs of patients. The emergency care delivery system is seeking to efficiently satisfy the care needs of people. Therefore the purpose of this study is designed to develop an effective programs for emergency care delivery system in Korea. The following specific objectives were investigated. This emergency care delivery system must have the necessary man power, for transfering the patients, communication net work, and emergency care facilities. 1) Man power Emergency care requires n0t only specialized traning in the emergency treatment but also knowledge and experience i11 other related area, so emergency care personnel traning program should be designed in order to adapt to the specific need of emergency patients. It will be necessary to ensure professional personnel who aquires the sufficient traning and experience for emergency care and to look for legal basis. We have to develop re-educational programs for emergency nurse specialist. They should be received speciality of emergency nursing care so that they will work actively and positively in emergency part. Emergency medical doctor and nurse specialist should be given an education which is related in emergency and critical care. Emergency care personnel will continue to provide both acute and continuing care as partner with other medical team. 2) Transfering the patients. Successful management of pre-hospital care requires adequate traning for the emergency medical technician. Traning program should be required to participate in a actual first aids activites in order to have apportunities to acquire practical skills as well as theoretical knowledge. The system of emergency medical technician should be remarkablly successful with first responder firefighters. Establishing this system must add necessary ambulances operating at any given time. It will be necessary to standardize the ambulance size and equipment. Ambulance should be arranged with each and every fire station. 3) Communication net work. The head office of emergency commumication network should be arranged with the head office of fire station in community. It is proposed that Hot-line system for emergency care should be introduce. • This paper presents an application of the Ecological Interface Design (EID) theoretical framework for developing an optimal display of railway safety monitoring system (SMS) in stations. Especially, Work Domain Analysis (WDA) which is the preceding research for EID was conducted. This study proceeds as follows: First, urban railway SMS in stations was defined as a system boundary for WDA, and work environment for station personnels was analysed through Abstraction Hierarchy (AH). AH represents five levels (Functional Purpose, Values and Priority Measures, Purpose-related Functions, Object-related Process, Physical Object) of informations that station personnels obtain from work environment, and Work Domain Model (WDM) was derived as a result of the AH. To confirm how well WDM represents the real work environment of SMS, Scenario Mapping was conducted with experts who has been working as a station personnel for more than ten years. Lastly, thirteen additional information requirements that are not provided by the existing SMS as well as all the information that are provided by the existing SMS were extracted using confirmed WDM. These information requirements can be used as essential information for EID of urban railway SMS.

  • In this study, the current status of digital humanities(DH) research support guide service, which is increasing recently in research-oriented academic libraries in the United States, was analyzed by comparing the contents provided by each institution's Website. Based on the ranking of research-focused academic libraries with the largest volume of books in North America as of 2018-19 in Association of Research Libraries(ARL) statistics, the service contents of 30 institutions providing DH research support guide service were analyzed. The criteria for analysis are 8 components of services presented in previous studies: (1) tools and technology, (2) funding, (3) community, (4) pedagogy, (5) projects, (6) resources, (7) publications and consultations, and (8) workshops and training. As a result of the analysis, it was found that most of the institutions operating the DH research support guide service provided 'DH resources', and more than half of the institutions were providing 'DH tools and technology' and 'DH community' information. In addition, most institutions are operating the DH research support guide service in cooperation with the library itself, on-campus research institutes and centers, or other departments for DH publication and project consultation, so they focused on research support information services through consulting. In the future, discussions on the DH research support guide service operation plan of domestic academic libraries and the competency of service personnel should be continued.
