The data wiping is a technique which perfectly deletes data in a storage to prevent data recovery. Currently, management of stored data is important because of increasing an accident of personal information leakage. Especially, if you need to discard data contained personal information, using a wiping tool which permanently deletes data to prevent unnecessary personal information leakage. The data wiping is also used for data security and privacy protection. However the data wiping can be used intentionally destruction of evidence. This intentionally destruction of evidence is important clues of forensic investigation. This paper demonstrates the methods for detecting the usage of wiping tools in digital forensic investigation.

Customized service is a vital and mandatory element for apps in improving their technical performance and app customer analysis. While apps require users' consent for their data extraction and usage, many of the terms and agreement forms are written intricately, making it harder for users to fully understand the whole concept of users' data collection for customized services. Ever since the Facebook-Cambridge Analytica scandal, personal data privacy has been re-examined, forcing many app companies to reinforce a reliable solution to data privacy issues. However, there has not been a secured solution, which worries many people about the future advanced issues when metaverse platforms are actively used in daily apps. The research aims to collect the reactions and behaviors of everyday app users who utilize apps with customized services to understand the nature of privacy data issues and the users' opinions about the future implementation of metaverse platforms. The method of the research was an online questionnaire that targeted university students. The study revealed many fearful and anxious reactions about personal data and further metaverse issues where most app users were uneducated about how current apps collect and utilize users' private data.

This paper presents the design of a prototype robot and architecture of a distributed control system. The robot, named as KAEROT, has been developed for the purpose of the reduction of personal radiation exposure and the remote maintenance tasks in nuclear facilities. The mobile system with robotic manipulator has been designed to go up and down stairs. For the dextrous handling, this manipulator will be designed as a redundant type to act like a human arm. Manipulator control system is to be extended easily for further usage with a modular architecture to get independency and reliability by minimizing EMI effects.

The use of global mobile technology has increased exponentially. In particular, a survey of consumers in the Philippines showed that 83% "could not live" without their mobile phones. We investigated factors, such as ease of use and personal innovativeness, to elucidate the consumer adoption of mobile technologies in the Philippines, to integrate existing adoption theories for academics and provide recommendations to practitioners based on our findings. Our research questions are as follows: (1) What key factors drive adoption of mobile technologies by Filipino consumers?; (2) Are Filipino consumers innovative in their use of mobile technologies?; And (3) How can telecom companies retain their customers? A structural equation model, which was built from a survey of 528 mobile Filipino consumers, showed support for repurchase intention to use mobile technologies. The hypotheses were generally supported by variables related to mobile phone usage with the Philippine consumer sample. Results support all of the hypothesized relationships for consumers using mobile technologies. Personal innovativeness did load on both attitude and repurchase intention for mobile applications as originally hypothesized but was strongly loaded for attitude toward using. This research is a first step in understanding the adoption of mobile applications by Filipino consumers. We initially hypothesized that consumer behavior toward mobile applications would involve constructs of innovativeness, ease of use, and satisfaction; however, we found that ease of use was less significant in understanding repurchase intention to use mobile technologies. Personal innovativeness was more important in explaining satisfaction with mobile application attitudes and repurchase intention. The Filipino context of this study also provides other interesting implications. As the Philippines transitions into a more international market, western products start to guide market behavior, particularly consumer adoption.

This study analyzes appropriate government policy frameworks for promoting IPTV industry by studying the way of adoption and diffusion of IPTV services. Until recently, most researches on government policies for technology adoption have focused on the personal context. This research adopts two theories, i.e., innovation characteristics theory for personal context and implementation process theory for organizational context. It also hypothesizes that the innovation characteristics more influence on the behavioral intention for usage new media in the level of personal innovativeness is high. Moreover, in the level of expectancy for diffusion policy is high, the implementation of IPTV services more influences on the behavioral intention. The results by statistical analysis, it is found that the higher the level of personal innovativeness is, and the higher the level of expectancy for diffusion policy is, the more behavioral intention will be influenced by the characteristics of innovation and implementation of IPTV service. Thus it is important for government agencies to find the way to facilitate personal innovativeness as well as expectancy for diffusion policy.

In this study, we propose a model for constructing a producer-centered self-publishing repository for the personal digital records and three operational process for practical application of the operational model. 1) As essential requirements for constructing a DSpace-based self-publishing repository, we propose producer-centered service provision, management subject, operation and management plan, how to activate the repository of digital personal records producers, copyright issues, development and dissemination process. 2) The repository model constructs a producer-centered circular structure considering these requirements. 3) Through a repository model with multiple agencies, it provides various services such as content distribution, keyword search, usage statistics, recommendation system, and open access to portal users and electronic publishers as well as individual users.

The recent increase in smartphone usage has ignited the development of new applications which have changed the way of living in this internet era in the world. Almost all users which have smartphone have used many kinds of applications for lots of part. Especially, Social Network Service is the most popular part for smartphone users. The greater part of smartphone users take messenger service for smartphone. This kinds of applications provide to manage as deactivation of user or change of device. When users take to manage their information, their information would be deleted securely. If secure deletion didn't work correctly and released, their personal information can be easily abused to by others through various means such as internet phishing. In this paper, we analysis that the messenger application's management function keeps on the Personal Information Protection Act and suggest to prevent legally and technically for user's personal information and privacy.

Recently, the proportion of housing lease has been increasing to an overwhelming level in line with the increase of single-person households and the change in the form of housing. In the normal case, the use of rental-type housing is subject to a housing lease agreement through a licensed real estate agent. In the event of a transaction conclusion, licensed real estate agent shall issue a contract containing the personal information of the lessee, the renter, and the licensed real estate agent to the transaction party. In this case, it is necessary for the lessee to provide the contract to a third party. This paper analyzes relevant laws and regulations and the status of housing transactions, focusing on personal information processed between offline housing lease agreements. And when issuing a contract through IRTS, we propose a way to protect personal information by providing a third party in three forms: information Data Subject-based, Purpose of usage-based De-identification, and Certificate of Contract.

Recently, personal information leakage incidents with increased usage of mobile services are increasing. Personal information leakage incidents can have a significant impact on an individual's mobile banking services. Accordingly, we examine relationships among individual's psychological characteristics, intention and behavior regarding compliance in an individual's perception on personal information leakage incidents in mobile banking contexts. In this study, for explaining our research model and understanding with personal psychology and behavior in mobile banking contexts, we adopted two theories, theory of interpersonal behavior and stimulus-response theory. We collected the 55 data using online surveyor and then analyzed structural equation model in order to find causal relationships among research variables. The results of this study should be useful to the mobile banking services companies in promoting service users to follow the information privacy policies.

A number of scientific researches are currently being conducted on the potential health hazards of power frequency electric and magnetic field (EMF). There exists a non-objective and psychological belief that they are harmful, although no scientific and objective proof of such exists. This possible health risk from ELF magnetic field (MF) exposure, especially for children under 17 years of age, is currently one of Korea's most highly contested social issues. Therefore, to assess the magnetic field exposure levels of those children in their general living environments, the personal MF exposure levels of 436 subjects were measured for about 6 years using government funding. Using the measured database, estimation formulas were developed to predict personal MF exposure levels. These formulas can serve as valuable tools in estimating 24-hour personal MF exposure levels without directly measuring the exposure. Three types of estimation formulas were developed by applying evolutionary computation methods such as genetic algorithm (GA) and genetic programming (GP). After tuning the database, the final three formulas with the smallest estimation error were selected, where the target estimation error was approximately 0.03 ${\mu}T$. The seven parameters of each of these three formulas are gender (G), age (A), house type (H), house size (HS), distance between the subject's residence and a power line (RD), power line voltage class (KV), and the usage conditions of electric appliances (RULE).
