The Relationship between the Perceived Mental Benefits, Online Trust, and Personal Information Disclosure in Online Shopping

  • The study examines the relationship between perceived mental benefits, online trust, and personal information disclosure when shopping online in Vietnam. The e-commerce market has been booming in Vietnam since 2015. The number of online transactions and e-commerce sites has increased steadily in recent years. However, the number of online sales in Vietnam is still not high, and consumers are still limited in buying from websites when they have to provide too much information during and after the shopping process. The mix-method is used to ensure the scientific nature of the study. Qualitative research method (phenomenological research) along with the quantitative research method (survey) are applied to meet the research objectives. The data in the study was collected through the group discussion with eight experts and the survey with 917 respondents. Data processing result via SmartPLS software indicate the positive relationships between the factors in the research. The perceived mental benefits have the most potent influence on the online trust of Vietnamese customers; at the same time, both the perceived mental benefits and online trust affect customers personal information disclosure in electronic commerce. Some managerial implications relating increasing the perceived mental benefits, and customers' online trust are proposed for online businesses.

이혼가정 아동의 학교적응: 아동의 개인적 변인과 가족 변인을 중심으로 (The Effects of Personal and Family Variables on the School Adjustment of Children in Divorced Families)

  • The purpose of this study investigated the effects of personal variables(gender, grade, self-esteem, and depression) and family variables(economical level, marital conflict, and parenting behaviors) on the children's school adjustment(school interest, academic achievement, observance of school regulation, and friend relationship) of children in divorced families. The participants were 165 children in divorced families(73 boys and 92 girls). The results were as follows. First, children's school interest was affected by depression, self-esteem and grade. Second, children's academic achievement was affected by depression and grade. Third, children's observance of school regulation was affected by gender, grade, self-esteem, and parenting behaviors. Fourth, children's friend relationship was affected by depression, parenting behaviors, self-esteem, and gender. Fifth, children's school adjustment was more influenced on children's personal variables than children's family variables.

A Study on the Private Consumption Value of Franchise Companies: A Comparison of Foreign and Domestic Brand Consumers

  • Purpose - The relationship between personal consumption value and brand trust and brand attitude, brand trust and brand attitude, and brand loyalty was analyzed at a time when customers visiting domestic and foreign brands with mutual competition recognized the coffee shop as a new cultural space. Research design, data, and methodology - To examine these research models, samples were collected from 348 peoples who visited Coffee Franchise Companies during March to April, 2019. Results - The results of the study showed that Most of the assumptions about consumers' personal consumption values and brand trust, brand attitude and brand loyalty were adopted. This shows that there is a positive and organic relationship between these variables. Conclusions - Consumers' personal consumption values are found to have a positive impact on brand trust and brand attitudes. This means that the more positive an individual's consumption value is, the more confidence and likability a brand has. Brand trust has been shown to have a positive impact on brand attitudes. Brand attitudes and brand trust also have a positive impact on brand loyalty. This means efficient management of brand trust and brand attitudes in chain service companies is necessary.

장애인활동지원사의 소명의식과 서비스 질의 관계에서 자기효능감의 매개효과 (The Mediating Effect of Self-efficacy in the Relationship between Sense of Calling and Service Quality of Personal Assistants for People with Disabilities)

  • 본 연구는 장애인활동지원사의 소명의식과 서비스 질의 관계에서 자기효능감의 매개효과를 살펴보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 경상남도 K시 장애인활동지원기관 4개소에 소속되어 활동하고 있는 장애인활동지원사이고, 총 308부의 설문지가 최종 분석에 사용되었다. 자료수집은 2023년 3월 13일부터 4월 28일까지이며, 수집된 자료는 SPSS 24.0을 이용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 장애인활동지원사의 소명의식, 자기효능감, 서비스 질간의 상관관계를 분석한 결과, 모든 하위변인에서 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 소명의식과 서비스 질의 관계에서 자기효능감은 부분 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 소명의식의 하위요인인 친사회적 지향과 서비스질의 관계에서 자기효능감은 부분 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 장애인 활동지원사의 서비스 질을 높이기 위해서는 소명의식과 자기효능감을 높일 필요가 있음을 시사하고, 이에 대한 제언을 하였다.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between Self-concept, Personal variables and Clothing selection behavior. Self-concept was measured with Choi Jung Hun's 'Perceptual Orientation Scale' and Clothing selection behavior scale was prepared for this study. The questionnaire were completed by 389 women in Taegu. Statistical analysis was performed using F-test, Scheffe's test. The results were as follows; 1. There was significant relationship between Self-concept and Clothing selection behavior. (individuality, conformity, economy, modesty). 2. There was significant difference in clothing selection behavior variables according to age. 3. There was significant difference in individuality and economy according to marital status. 4. There was significant difference in individuality, economy and modesty according to education level. 5. There was significant difference in clothing selection behavior variables according to monthly clothing expenses.

임부의 공포와 개인 및 환경변인의 상오관계에 관한 연구 (A Study on Relationship Between Fear During Pregnancy and Person and Environmental Variables in Pregnant Women)

  • Antenatal care is zoomed toward3 assisting the Individual to achieve safe and wholesome state of health during pregnancy. Nature of fear is assumed to be rooted to complex interaction between past experiences, human relationship and present state of health, however. specific relationship between fear and the variables have not yet been ascertained. This study is designed to investigate the nature of fear of pregnancy, and the correlation between fear and the personal and environmental variables such as personal characteristics past experiences. and psycho-social factors. During the period from October 23 to November 5, 215 pregnant and 104 non-pregnant women of similar chronological are group residing in Seoul were interviewed according to check-list by random General anxiety test, general personality test and test for fear of pregnancy, family according to specific variables such as past experiences of Pregnancy and childbirth, structure of family, family relationship and month of pregnancy was done to the group of pregnant women. To non-pregnant group, general anxiety test was performed to compare with pregnant group. Results of the study are as follows; 1. Hypothesis 1; Degree of general anxiety will be higher e pregnant women compared to that of non-pregnant women. There is no significant difference between the general anxiety of pregnant women and that of non-pregnant women. Therefore, hypothesis I is rejected. 2. Hypothesis 2: Fear of pregnancy and general anxiety will be correlated with personality factors. Through test for fear of pregnancy and general anxiety, a meager contra-correlation between fear and only two personal factors (R and E factor) is revealed but there is no significant correlation between fear and other personal factors (A.S. and T factor). Degree of fear of pregnancy tends to b: higher in the group with low personality factors; responsibility and emotional stability expect the correlation between ascendancy, sociability, and confidence-inferiority. non-significant. Through general anxiety test, level of general anxiety tends to be higher in the group. with low personality factors; responsibility. emotional stability, and confidence except ascendency and sociability, non-significant. Hypothesis 2 is partially supported. 3. Hypothesis 3; General anxiety and fear of pregnancy will be correlated with the past experience-ol pregnancy, and child-birth experience. Though general anxiety test and test for fear of pregnancy, non-significant difference is revealed by P〉.05 level Hypothesis 3 is rejected. 4. Hypothesis 4: General anxiety and fear of pregnancy will be correlated with the month at pregnancy will be correlated with the month of pregnancy. Through tests of general anxiety and fear, significant correlation is revealed degree of fear by-P〈.05 level (CR=1.98) and level of general anxiety by P〈.005 level (CR=3. 11) is higher in the earlier stage of pregnancy. Hypothesis 4 is supported. 5. Hypothesis 5, 6, 7; General anxiety and fear of pregnancy will be correlated with socio-economic status, family structure, and family relationship. Through general anxiety test and tear of pregnancy test, non-significant is revealed by P〉.05 level. Hypothesis 3.6.7 are rejected. Conclusion and recommendation Level of general: anxiety and degree of fear of pregnancy is shown not to be correlated with variables of past experiencers of pregnancy and child-birth. and family factors except the month of - pregnancy. Personal characteristics are shown to be partially contra-correlated meagerly with genera anxiety and fear of pregnancy. This study revealed contrasted results, in regard to presence of correlation between general anxiety and fear of pregnancy to other thesis. In this context. further studies under controlled environment is recommended.

  • 최근 웹 기술은 통합화, 가상화, 사회화의 세 가지 원동력에 의해 발전해왔다. 그러나 웹 기술은 소셜 네트워킹 능력의 증가를 제공하는 반면에 개인의 디지털 컨텐츠에 대한 프라이버시의 노출을 더욱 복잡하고 해결하기 어려운 문제로 심화시키고 있다. 대표적으로 세부적인 관계의 정의나 관리가 불가능하여 컨텐츠의 수집, 요약으로부터 개인의 정보 및 관심사가 추론될 수 있고, 정보 소유자만의 소셜 네트워크 구축이 어려운 문제점이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 웹 2.0 환경에서 사용자만의 디지털 컨텐츠를 보호하기 위해 기존의 접근 통제 방법에 관계(Relationship)와 컨텐트 시맨틱(Content Semantic)의 개념을 적용한 RCBAC(Relationship-Content based Access Control) 모델을 제안한다. 이 방법은 개인적인 성향 등의 프라이버시가 노출되지 않고 세부적인 관계의 정의나 관리가 가능하도록 하여 정보 소유자가 자신의 소셜 네트워크를 구축할 수 있고, 이것을 웹 컨텐츠로 적용 및 확장할 수 있다.

윤리적 리더십과 종업원의 행동 간의 관계-종업원의 자기효능감과 리더에 대한 신뢰의 조절효과를 중심으로 (The moderating roles of employees' self-efficacy and trust in leader on the relationship between ethical leadership and employees' behaviors)

  • 본 연구는 윤리적 리더십이 종업원의 행동(일탈행동과 자기주도성)에 미치는 영향과 윤리적 리더십과 종업원의 행동 간의 관계에서 자기 효능감과 리더에 대한 신뢰의 조절효과를 살펴보는 것이다. 선행연구 검토를 통해 4개의 가설을 개발하고 개발된 가설은 단순 회귀분석과 위계적 회귀분석을 통해 검증하였다. 분석결과 윤리적 리더십은 종업원의 일탈행동에는 부(-)의 영향을 그리고 자기 주도성에는 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 종업원의 자기 효능감과 리더에 대한 신뢰가 조절역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 실증 분석결과를 바탕으로 실무적 시사점과 미래 연구 방향 등을 제시하였다.

서비스 실패 상황에서 고객관계 품질, 고객 파워, 브랜드 명성이 불만 행동에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Customer Relationship Quality, Customer Perceived Power, and Brand Reputation on Complaint Behaviors)

  • Purpose - This study aimed to investigate the effects of customer relationship quality and perceived power on complaint behaviors in a context of service failures in a restaurant. Two different types of complaint behaviors were employed: personal complaining that disappointed customers directly approach to a service manager and public complaining that customers ask for related institutions, like consumer protection organization, for help. This study also examined the moderation effects of brand reputation on the relationships between customer perceived power and two types of complaint behaviors. Research design, data, and methodology - The author developed a structural model in which customer relationship quality is proposed to affect customer perceived power, thus influencing personal and public complaint behaviors. The model also includes the moderating role of brand reputation; the effect of customer perceived power on two types of complaint behaviors becomes stronger when brand reputation is high. To analyze the research model, a survey based on a scenario regarding the contexts of service failures in a restaurant was conducted toward 126 female college students. SPSS 22.0 and AMOS 21.0 were utilized to test the hypotheses. Results - The findings are as follows. First, customers who had positive relationships with a restaurant are more likely to perceive that they have strong power to influence the service provider. Second, customer perceived power had a significant and positive effect on both personal and public complaint behaviors. Finally, when the brand reputation for a restaurant is high, dissatisfied customers who think they can exercise influence to the restaurant complain more actively toward the service provider. Conclusions - The findings of this study are against the traditional viewpoint on customer loyalty that loyal customers compared respond more generously to the mistakes of a company, but consistent with the 'love becomes hate' effect proposed by Grégoire, Tripp, and Legoux(2009). In complaining contexts, companies should manage customers with positive and strong relationship more carefully and strategically to prevent the expansion of economic and social risks from customers' complaining behaviors. This is more significant for companies with strong brand reputations.

Multi-Mediation Effects of Personal Self-Congruity and Social Self-Congruity to Perceived Value and Brand Attitude on Chinese Airlines Customers

  • Purpose- This study examines the multi-mediation effect of personal self-congruity and social self-congruity to perceived value and brand attitude on aircraft customers in China. Research design, data and methodology- Survey was conducted on Chinese citizens who had flown via Chinese airlines and lived mainly in the Yangtze River delta. 727 cases were analyzed. SPSS 22.0 and AMOS 24.0 were used to analyze the data. Results - First, perceived economic value has a positive impact on personal self-congruity and social self-congruity but has no effect on brand attitude. Second, perceived functional value has a positive impact on personal self-congruity, social self-congruity, and brand attitude. Third, based on this, perceived economic value is not directly related to brand attitude. However, there is a relationship between perceived functional value and brand attitude, with personal self-congruity and social self-congruity having mediation effects. Conclusions - The Results show that perceived economic and functional value such as competitive airfare, mileage membership, check-in processes, diversified vouchers and coupons, and also basic services such as flight security and flight attendant service having an effect on personal self-congruity. To improve consumer brand attitude, airlines should take into consideration personal self-congruity factors such as their values and lifestyles, and their social self-congruity factors such as their social status and social security.
