소형궤도차량 시스템에 적합한 유도전력 집전 장치의 모델링 (The Modeling of inductive power collector for light railway system)

  • In this paper, the inductive power collector using electromagnetic induction for the PRT{Personal Rapid Transit) system is suggested and some ideas for power collector design to improve the power transfer performance are presented. The proposed the inductive power collector is used for the PRT system, which has a large air-gap and demands a large electrical power capability. But, low output power is generated due to a loosely coupled characteristic of the large air-gap. Therefore, double layer construction of secondary winding, which was divided in half to increase both output current and output voltage was suggested. Also, model of power collector and parallel winding structure are presented, in addition, the performance of inductive power collector to alignment condition between the primary power line and the inductive power transformer was verified by computer simulation of 2kW model.

  • The contact-less inductive power transformer (IPT) uses principle of electromagnetic induction. Generally, there were many methods to improve the transfer performance of traditional transformer. But, though the principle of IPT is similar to that of general transformer, it is impossible to apply the methods because of large air-gap. Consequently, many linear numerical formulas for analysis of performance and design of traditional transformer cannot be used in development of IPT. The concept of the IPT for vehicle like PRT(Personal Rapid Transit) system is suggested and some suggestions for power collector(core & winding) design of IPT to improve power transfer performance arc presented in this paper. The characteristic of power delivery with these novel methods in design is presented by simulation and examination.

  • This paper suggests the inductive power collector using electromagnetic induction for railway vehicle such as the PRT(Personal Rapid Transit) system. Some ideas for inductive power collector design to improve the power transfer performance are presented. The inductive power of secondary part is related to mount of linked flux to secondary part by the length of air-gap, which is expected by such a system parameter as leakage reactance and magnetizing reactance. This paper will study for some performance of traditional transformer from equivalent circuit considering leakage reactance.

  • This paper shows the analysis of the inductive power transfer system in conjunction with series resonant converter operating variable high frequency. Of particular interest is the sensitivity of the complete system to variations in operational frequency and parameters. In inductive power transfer system, electrical power is transferred from a primary winding in the form of a coil or track, to one or more isolated pick-up coils that may relative to the primary. The ability to transmit power without contact enables high reliability and easy maintenance that allows inductive power transfer system to be implemented in hostile environments. This technology has found application in many fields such as electric vehicles, PRT(Personal Rapid Transit) etc. The coupling between the primary and secondary is then presented to include the effects of parameter and operational frequency variation.

  • 차량 자동주행제어시스템에서 차량의 주행중 위치정보는 매우 중요한 요소이다. 이를 위해 GPS를 기반으로 하는 많은 연구가 수행되어 왔다. 하지만PRT(Personal rapid transit) 시스템과 같이 건물내부 또는 터널 등 위성의 가시권을 벗어난 영역에서는 사용성이 크게 제한된다. 본 논문에서는 이런 적용환경을 고려하여 국내에서 개발되고 있는 PRT차량의 주행제어 시스템에서 활용하기 위한 자석검지시스템과 자석검지기술을 제시하였다.
