Collection and use of personal information have enabled firms to improve their value propositions by offering personalization. On the other hand, they have caused widespread concerns by consumers that their privacy is invaded. Because previously distributed personal information can be integrated and utilized to offer more personalized services, those concerns may be intensified with the progress of the digital convergence environment. In this study, factors for privacy invasion and their impact on the privacy concerns are suggested. Then, an empirical study is conducted to examine some of the suggestions. From the analysis, several results are derived. First, as more personal data are collected, secrecy and autonomy concerns increase exponentially rather than steadily. Second, as targeting accuracy is improved, greater secrecy and autonomy concerns are expressed by consumers, but less seclusion concerns. Finally, monetary reward such as coupons can reduce seclusion concerns when targeting accuracy is high. Based on the results, implications for managing consumer privacy concerns are provided under digital convergence environment.

Background: This study was conducted to analyze the influence of socioeconomic characteristics of community on the food insecurity under the control of personal socioeconomic factors which may be influence to the food security. Methods: Food insecurity and individual socioeconomic characteristics were obtained from 2012 community health survey. Socioeconomic characteristics of communities were extracted from the data of Statistics Korea and local governments. Personal socioeconomic factors were sex, age, educational status, job, and monthly family income. Socioeconomic characteristics of communities were administrative district (urban vs. rural), senior population rate, degree of financial self reliance, degree of financial independence, portion of welfare budget, number of welfare facilities, and unemployment rate. We analysed the relationships between the food insecurity and socioeconomic characteristics of community using multi-level analysis under the control of personal characteristics. Results: On personal level age, sex, education status, and monthly family income were related with food insecurity. On community level administrative district (urban vs. rural), degree of financial independence, unemployment rate, and proportion of welfare budget among local general government accounts were related to individual food insecurity. Rural area, district with low levels of financial independence, low portion of welfare budget, and greater unemployment rate showed a higher level of food insecurity. Conclusion: To reduce the level of food insecurity in a community it is necessary to decrease the unemployment rate, in addition to providing support from the central government by increasing the proportion of the welfare budget so that both factors contribute to raising the degree of financial independence.
As the digital era accelerates, traditional perspectives have limitations in explaining the success or failure of export performance. The purpose of this study is to analyze new factors affecting export performance from the perspective of customer experience, which has emerged as an important factor in securing a competitive advantage and generating organizational performance. After deriving hypotheses based on literature review and discussion, a research model is designed in which three factors of customer experience such as understanding customer's objectives, customer value creation capability, and customer journey management are the antecedents, and export performance is the dependent variable. This model also includes organizational agility and personal contact as the moderating variables. To verify the hypotheses, multiple regression analysis was conducted on the collected data drawn from 198 SME exporters. According to the analysis results, it was found that all three antecedents positively affected export performance. In particular, the organizational agility and personal contact were confirmed to have a moderating effect that creates better export performance by interacting with customer value creation capability. The theoretical significance of this study is to find that effective customer experience management can be a key factor in creating export performance. The results suggest that checking the overall customer journey, exporters should select and intervene to intensively manage key touch points that can have a decisive impact on the quality of customer experience. At the end of the paper, practical implications to be considered in creating export performance through effective customer experience management are presented.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the factors affecting credit card attitudes, financial management practices, and sound credit card use among college students, and to conceptualize a theoretical model. Earlier studies identified a number of antecedent variables (such as gender, year in college, job experience, amount of allowance, family income, living with parents, having taken a personal financial management course) and intervening variables (such as attitudes towards credit cards and financial management practices) as useful predictors of sound credit card practices. Four hundred and thirty four undergraduate students in Daejeon participated in this study. Stepwise multiple regression and path analysis were conducted. The results of this study were as follows: 1. Students' attitudes towards credit cards were affected by their you in college, whether they were living with their parents, and the amount of their allowance. Similarly, students' financial management practices were affected by their year in college, whether they were living with their parents, the amount of their allowance, and whether and not they had taken a personal financial management course. 2. Sound credit card practices were influenced by students' gender, their year in college, the amount of their allowance, attitudes towards credit cards, and financial management practices. 3. The path-analysis model demonstrates the relationships among the antecedent variables, intervening variables (credit card attitude, financial management practices), and sound credit card use.

By using the U-Healthcare environment, it is possible to receive the health care services anywhere anytime. However, since the user's personal information can be easily exposed in the U-Healthcare environment, it is necessary to strengthen the security system. This thesis proposes the technique which can be used to protect the personal medical records at hospital safely, in order to avoid the exposure of the user's personal information which can occur due to the frequent usage of the electronic chart according to the computerization process of medical records. In the proposed system, the following two strategies are used: i) In order to reduce the amount of the system load, it is necessary to apply the partial encryption process for electronic charts. ii) Regarding the user's authentication process for each patient, the authentication number for each electronic chart, which is in the encrypted form, is transmitted through the patient's mobile device by the National Health Insurance Corporation, when the patient register his or her application at hospital. Regarding the modern health care services, it is important to protect the user's personal information. The proposed technique will be an important method of protecting the user's information.
While feeling anxious about the risk of exposure of personal information and privacy, users of microblogs and social network services are continuously using them. This study aims to develop a model to investigate this phenomenon. Specifically, this study explores the relationship between personal characteristics (represented by privacy concern and self-presentation) and an individual's self-disclosure. An individual's personal belief (represented by perceived risk and perceived trust) is also tested as an mediator between the relationship. Through a questionnaire survey to 183 twitter users in Korea, the results indicate that self-presentation has a direct influence on self-disclosure as well as an indirect influence through perceived trust. In contrast, privacy concern has not a direct but an indirect negative influence on self-disclosure through perceived risk. In conclusion, self-presentation has a stronger influence on self-disclosure then privacy concern to Twitter users. An individual who has a higher propensity for self-presentation will form a stronger perceived trust on Twitter, which in turn, affects the individual's self-disclosure. On the other hand, an individual who is more concerned with personal privacy will feel more serious about perceived risk, which in turn, negatively influences one's perception of the trust in Twitter as well as his desire for self-disclosure.
Today, Internet users start off using heavily SNS(Social Network Site) such like, Facebook, Twitter. The reason of the growth of using SNS would be closely related to the various services of gaming, playing, entertainment items, sharing information etc., provided by the SNS, technically, the most important one out of the services provided would be behaving of sharing knowledge among people who connected and networked in the site. In sum, we assume that the users may communicate well each other and pay attention to build closely a social network using that kind of activities. However, nevertheless the new trends of communications and sharing knowledge become popular, researchers have just began the research issues in explaining why Internet user rush into SNS and enjoy the time in there. Therefore, we investigate on the reasons of posting knowledge voluntarily in the SNS and how others response to the posted information and actually affected by the behavior. We appled personal relation and social identity theory for this study, which personal relation in SNS may affect on social identity and make them produce knowledge generation. We found that social identity and involvement in SNS is closely related and influence knowledge creation and generation. This empirical study resulted in the importance of social relations in SNS, which leads to a sharing knowledge.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the factors influencing personal disaster preparation and disaster nursing core competency among visiting nurses in public health centers. Methods: A descriptive survey study was adopted. A convenience sample was taken from 277 subjects in three regions. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, correlation, Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regression. Results: The mean personal disaster preparation and disaster nursing core competency scores were 11.13 and 76.87, respectively. Personal disaster preparation was statistically significant by experience of disaster victims and disaster management guideline. Disaster nursing core competency was statistically significant by participation in future disaster recovery. As a result of multiple regression analysis, personal disaster preparation accounted for 14.9 of the variance by experience of disaster victims and disaster management guidelines; disaster nursing core competency accounted for 8.9 of the variance by perception of disaster nursing. Conclusion: Although visiting nurses are ill-prepared for disaster, global natural and man-made disasters can occur regardless of time and place. Disaster education and training should therefore be included in nurses' fundamental education.
The study compared refractive surgery patients' hospital selection factors and satisfaction, through this to see the factors influencing patients' satisfaction, aiming at 235 patients visiting two Eye hospitals. The research results are followed. First, target group's hospital selection factors appeared facilities and environment factor, reliability factor, personal service factor, and accessibility factor in the order. Second, patients' satisfaction appeared reliability factor, facilities and environment factor, and personal factor in the order. Fourth, in the result comparing patients' expectation on hospital selection and satisfaction score, all factors of facilities and environment, personal service, and reliability had high satisfaction score than expectation. Third, in the result of factors influencing refractive surgery patients' satisfaction, in surgery determination period, surgery expenditure, and hospital selection factors among characteristics relating to refractive surgery, facilities and environment, personal service, and reliability appeared as satisfaction influencing factors. In conclusion, the study found that hospital selection factors and satisfaction influencing factors by refractive surgery patients' surgery type are considered to be able to be used to establish marketing strategy in the fields excluded from insurance application, the researches to improve patients' satisfaction in patient-oriented medical market should be continuously proceeded.

Purpose - This study aims to investigate the major capabilities of airline cabin crew to improve the performance of the organization by identifying how they are affected by turnover and customer orientation. Research, design, data, and methodology -The survey participants were limited to all airline cabin crew members in Korea to look at the component measurement items. To verify the validity of the questionnaire, the final questionnaire for this survey was prepared by modifying and supplementing the questionnaire by analyzing factors and validating the questionnaire through reliability verification Results - The analysis on the impact of personal capacity of the airline cabin crew on turnover revealed that some factors had an effect of the positive and the personal capacity of the airline cabin crew has a statistically positive effect on the customer orientation relationship, which is a sub-factor of the cabin crew Conclusions -The capacity of the cabin crew of the airline was defined and the components were established as technical capacity, knowledge capacity and expertise capacity. It was found that the intangible performance of the individual capabilities and customer orientation were very closely related. Airline cabin crew have verified the importance of good talent selection and capacity development training, which are essential requirements for securing the airline's competitiveness.
