Concept Car Development using Personal Digital Design Process based on Engineering Technology (공학 기술 기반 개인 디지털 디자인 프로세스를 적용한 컨셉카 개발)

  • Every car manufacturer desires to reduce the new car development time spent in improving the safety, NVH, lightweight, reliability and environment friendly features of the car. Other considerations such as planning, exterior and interior styling, packaging, color, and material selection increase the complexity of the car design process. This paper proposes a personal DDP (Digital Design Process) to utilize the engineering analysis and design/styling software for car design. DDP can be efficiently used by a team of car research center or a studio with small number of engineers, helping ordinary engineers becoming ambidextrous in design as well as engineering applications. The concept model starts from idea sketch, rendering, and 3D surface model with CAS (Computer Aided Styling) to the final safety estimation by using proposed DDP based on engineering technology (CAD, CAE). The concept model proposed a hydrogen fuel cell sports coupe which could be available within next 10 years. The proposed DDP can not only reduce the new car development time but also be adapted into designing of varied products such as aircraft, yacht, electrical equipment and sports gear.

  • By using the U-Healthcare environment, it is possible to receive the health care services anywhere anytime. However, since the user's personal information can be easily exposed in the U-Healthcare environment, it is necessary to strengthen the security system. This thesis proposes the technique which can be used to protect the personal medical records at hospital safely, in order to avoid the exposure of the user's personal information which can occur due to the frequent usage of the electronic chart according to the computerization process of medical records. In the proposed system, the following two strategies are used: i) In order to reduce the amount of the system load, it is necessary to apply the partial encryption process for electronic charts. ii) Regarding the user's authentication process for each patient, the authentication number for each electronic chart, which is in the encrypted form, is transmitted through the patient's mobile device by the National Health Insurance Corporation, when the patient register his or her application at hospital. Regarding the modern health care services, it is important to protect the user's personal information. The proposed technique will be an important method of protecting the user's information.

  • Users' demands on the space are changing in variety. These demands include reasonable space and form, harmonious composition with surroundings and esthetic satisfaction that could be brought by personal tastes and preferences. In addition, models that are introduced from designing process and from various forms tend to lack objective decision making standard. Accordingly it is difficult to find a clear alternative plan and process. In an effort to solve these problems, the objects of this study are; to propose an analysis model of image and space by using image process techniques that are on study in the field of artificial intelligence based on acquisition of digital image and to verify the application possibilities of such analysis model, 'Isovist' on quantitative analysis. The model can be applied with variable analysis model, as digital image process and other analysis model such as 'Isovist' It is possible that further study can complement problems from this study.

  • With supplied computers and the development of information and communication thropugh the Internet, the space of personal home pages in potal sites has been filled with photos taken by digital cameras, and 'the introduction of privacy' done in the personal home pages has become a general trend in society. As the use of Photoshop, available to edit and modify digital photos, in this social atmosphere, has grown general, they have shown their interest in the retouching technique of Photoshop. Computer graphics, marked based on the treatment of a variety of information into pictures or a technology to mark it, recently various application methods have been found in make-up. Especially, Adobe Photoshop, used to edit and modify images, is a sofetware program proper to perform beauty make-up in correcting and creating images in an effective way. The purpose of this study is to express each factor in Adobe Photoshop CS2 about the beauty make-up. As a result, I can say, the process that digital image is retouched by Adobe Photoshop CS is similar work to beauty make-up. The process of Photoshop retouching can be used as the materials for educating of make-up and as the materials for presentation of beauty make-up trend. And also we can serve the simulation to the customer before real make-up. Therefore, this study is for the effective performance of diverse beauty makeup integrating retouch technique with Photoshop CS.

  • This study aimed at identifying the significant effects and effectiveness of patients with mild dementia when using personalized reminiscence therapy digital services using AI voice technology. In the process of interpreting the results of stakeholder interviews, the design idea of personal customization using voice AI technology was derived, and prototypes were created and usability tests were conducted in the first and second rounds. The main results are as follows: Since reminiscence therapy itself is highly influenced by personal experience and can receive customized care guides based on treatment status and results through customized treatment programs, the concept of personalization can improve the quality of treatment than existing treatment methods. However, it is expected that the usability of the service will further increase if we study micro-interactions that can prevent errors and increase usability, as issues that may arise due to the forgetting cognitive characteristics of mild dementia patients are observed.

  • It is needed to support intelligent customized health information service for user convenience in PHR based Personal Health Care Service Platform. In this paper, we specify an ontology-based health data model for Personal Health Care Service Platform. We also design a knowledge search algorithm that can be used to figure out similar health record by applying machine learning and data mining techniques. Axis-based mining algorithm, which we proposed, can be performed based on axis-attributes in order to improve relevance of knowledge exploration and to provide efficient search time by reducing the size of candidate item set. And K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm is used to perform to do grouping users byaccording to the similarity of the user profile. These algorithms improves the efficiency of customized information exploration according to the user 's disease and health condition. It can be useful to apply the proposed algorithm to a process of inference in the Personal Health Care Service Platform and makes it possible to recommend customized health information to the user. It is useful for people to manage smart health care in aging society.

  • The most significant part of this study is in developing an experimental medel of user-friendly PDL. This study proposes both theoretical (conceptual) and physical (operational) models. The theoretical model includes the analysis on various factors and the realtionsips among factors which have a serious impacts on the design, building, and managing of PDL. And the physical model shows the shows the detailed structure and process which could be useful for both PDL designers and managers. Also provided is the images of major user interfaces, of which a PDL would be developed on the basis of the proposed medel in near future.

  • In recent years the industry has utilized some of the 3D printers in the manufacturing process a trend which spread also a personal desktop 3D printer priced. The 3D printer can create the 3D object by using an ink or a laser instead of the powders, and various liquid plastic material. Properties of 3D printers are liquid, solid, powder and raw materials are also classified as varied. New ideas and processes in the form of designer furniture, becoming increasingly evolved through the development of materials and technologies. Science, art and technology combine to create a new aesthetic for the complex and free binding structure is a combination of design and materials are available in craft and the structure appears not showing. 3D scanning was not simply continue to develop as the production process by a variety of tools and content transformation. Create new mathematical tables and chairs designed by the theory fit the digital age shows a coupling structure with decoration into small pieces. It has created a new craft technique in the digital age.

  • This paper will discuss the process behind creating casual games utilizing Spritekits. Casual games, which recently have been on this rise due to the increasing use of personal adhered media and SNS, are significant in that they are leading the way to various changes in the gaming industry whilst making it popular. With this background in mind, and through research on Casual Games, we have divided the production process of Casual Games into three parts and created the game "Round and Round" which utilizes Spritekits. We have sectioned and organized the production process of Casual Games into four parts as followed: information architecture, design, program development, and debugging. This research will propose an easier methodology to approaching the production of casual games and be a guideline for creating games with the minimal amount of personnel.
