화장품 제조업 근로자의 화학물질 인식도 비교 (Comparison of Recognition of Chemical Substances of Cosmetics Manufacturing Workers)

  • To identify the relationship between types of employment(regular and non-regular group) and departments classification (administration, product and research group) and the levels of recognition of chemical substances, a total of 117 workers in cosmetics workplaces. Mainly, regular group and research group showed higher recognition of chemical substances (PPE, ventilation, chemical management, hazards in handling chemicals, skin contact) than non-regular group and administration, product group, but In some cases, production and administrative groups were high. Descriptive statistics(SAS ver9.2)was performed. the results of recognition of chemical substances were analyzed the mean and standard deviation by t-test, and anova, (P=0.05). These results cosmetics manufacturing workplaces have normal level of the perception of chemical substances. In most of the employment types, the regular workers showed high recognition, and the working departments showed high recognition in the research and production groups. Therefore, OEM and ODM cosmetics manufacturers regularly identify characteristics and needs of workplaces and workers, and suggest the development of experience and practiced education programs and risk assessment tools that can raise worker awareness.

일부지역 대학생의 식품위생 안전실태 및 행동인식 조사 (Survey on Actual Status and Recognition of Food Safety among Undergraduate Students)

  • Objectives: This study was conducted to find out the actual status and recognition of food safety among undergraduates in some areas and verified the results. Method: 328 undergraduate students at two colleges in J-city, J-province were chosen and data were collected from May 10 to June 20, 2008 and analyzed. For data analysis, SPSS 12.0 Version was utilized. Results: Of the students surveyed 66.8% had experienced food poisoning. Of the students who had experienced food poisoning, 57.1% were treated after food poisoning. 75.6% of the students surveyed said that food safety recognition on food distribution was insufficient. The relationship between expectation and satisfaction of food safety was positive(r=.575, p<.01). Recognition scale of food hygiene behavior was 1.32 points on average. And recognition scale of personal hygiene was 1.24 points and recognition of food management related-hygiene was 1.39 points.

Curvature and Histogram of oriented Gradients based 3D Face Recognition using Linear Discriminant Analysis

  • This article describes 3 dimensional (3D) face recognition system using histogram of oriented gradients (HOG) based on face curvature. The surface curvatures in the face contain the most important personal feature information. In this paper, 3D face images are recognized by the face components: cheek, eyes, mouth, and nose. For the proposed approach, the first step uses the face curvatures which present the facial features for 3D face images, after normalization using the singular value decomposition (SVD). Fisherface method is then applied to each component curvature face. The reason for adapting the Fisherface method maintains the surface attribute for the face curvature, even though it can generate reduced image dimension. And histogram of oriented gradients (HOG) descriptor is one of the state-of-art methods which have been shown to significantly outperform the existing feature set for several objects detection and recognition. In the last step, the linear discriminant analysis is explained for each component. The experimental results showed that the proposed approach leads to higher detection accuracy rate than other methods.

Non-contact Palmprint Attendance System on PC Platform

  • In order to overcome the problems of contact palmprint recognition, a non-contact palmprint recognition system is developed on personal computer (PC) platform. Three methods, namely "double-line-single-point" (DLSP), "double-assistant-crosshair" (DAC) and "none-assistant-graphic" (NAG), are implemented for the palmprint localization to solve the severe technical challenges, including the complex background, variant illuminations, uncontrollable locations and gestures of hands. In NAG, hand segmentation and the cropping of region of interest are performed without any assistant graphics. The convex hull contour of hand helps detect the outside contour of little finger as well as the valley bottom between thumb and index finger. The three methods of palmprint localization have good operating efficiency and can meet the performance requirements of real-time system. Furthermore, an attendance system on PC platform is designed and developed based on non-contact palmprint recognition.

국소 극대-극소점 간의 간격정보를 이용한 시간영역에서의 음성인식을 위한 파라미터 추출 방법 (A Time-Domain Parameter Extraction Method for Speech Recognition using the Local Peak-to-Peak Interval Information)

  • In this paper, a new time-domain parameter extraction method for speech recognition is proposed. The suggested emthod is based on the fact that the local peak-to-peak interval, i.e., the interval between maxima and minima of speech waveform is closely related to the frequency component of the speech signal. The parameterization is achieved by a sort of filter bank technique in the time domain. To test the proposed parameter extraction emthod, an isolated word recognizer based on Vector Quantization and Hidden Markov Model was constructed. As a test material, 22 words spoken by ten males were used and the recognition rate of 92.9% was obtained. This result leads to the conclusion that the new parameter extraction method can be used for speech recognition system. Since the proposed method is processed in the time domain, the real-time parameter extraction can be implemented in the class of personal computer equipped onlu with an A/D converter without any DSP board.

Development of Infants Music Education Application Using Augmented Reality

  • Augmented Reality (AR) technology has rapidly been applied to various application areas including e-learning and e-education. Focusing on the design and development of android tablet application, this study targeted to develop infant music education using AR technology. We used a tablet instead of personal computer because it is more easily accessible and more convenient. Our system allows infant users to play with teaching aids like blocks or puzzles to mimic musical play like game. The user sets the puzzle piece on the playground in front of the tablet and presses the play button. Then, the system extracts a region of interest among the images acquired by internal camera and separates the foreground image from the background image. The block recognition software analyzes, recognizes and shows the result using AR technology. In order to have reasonably working recognition ratio, we did experiments with more than 5,000 frames of actual playing scenarios. We found that the recognition rate can be secured up to 95%, when the threshold values are selected well using various condition parameters.

  • The purpose of this research is to develop the Automatic Fingerprint Verfication System by digital computer based on specially in PC level. Fingerprint is used as means of personal identity verification in view of that it has the high reliability and safety. Fingerprint pattern recognition algorithm is constitute of 3 stages, namely of the preprocessing, the feature extraction and the recognition. The preprocessing stage includes smoothing, binarization, thinning and restoration. The feature extraction stage includes the extraction of minutiae and its features. The recognition stage includes the registration and the matching score calculation which measures the similarity between two images. Tests for this study with 325 pairs of fingerprint resulted in 100% of separation which which in turn is turned out to be the reliability of this algorithm.

  • 본 논문에서는 인터랙티브 TV 컨트롤 시스템(ITCS)에 적용될 수 있는 근적외선 얼굴 영상에 대한 얼굴인식 방법을 제안하였다. 근적외선 얼굴 영상에서 ULBP(uniform local binary pattern) 히스토그램 피쳐를 추출하고 SVM 판별기를 이용하여 좌우 눈좌표 및 얼굴 영역을 검출하였다. 또한, 가버 변환과 ULBP 히스토그램 피쳐를 이용한 얼굴인식 시스템을 구현하여 이를 인터랙티브 TV 컨트롤 시스템 개인 인증 과정에 사용하였다.

숲길체험지도사의 조직몰입 영향 요인에 관한 연구: 직무동기를 중심으로 (A Study on the Influencing Factors of Forest Trail Guide's Organizational Commitment: Focused on the Job Motivation)

  • 숲길에 대한 국민들의 관심이 높아지면서 숲길체험활동에 대한 확대가 중요한 시점이다. 본 연구는 건전한 숲길이용을 위한 체험활동의 목표를 달성하고, 이용자의 만족도를 충족시키기 위해 숲길체험지도사의 조직몰입과 직무동기를 중점으로 두 변수간의 관계를 규명하고, 직무동기 요인에 따른 조직몰입도의 차이를 확인하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 숲길체험지도사 직무동기는 '개인적 만족추구', '일 자체의 가치', '외적 보상 인정'요인으로 구분되었고, 개인적 만족추구, 일 자체의 가치, 외적 보상 인정 순으로 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 직무동기는 조직몰입과 정의 상관관계가 있었으며, 특히 개인적 만족추구와 외적 보상 인정에 있어서 정의 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 숲길체험지도사의 직무동기의 하위요인 가운데 '개인적 만족추구'는 타 하위요인보다 직무몰입과의 관계에 미치는 영향이 큰 것으로 나타나, 숲길체험지도사로서의 활동이 개인에게 자부심을 가질 수 있도록 하는 등의 개인적 만족감을 높여주는 방안 강구가 필요하다.

개인의료정보보안인식이 편의성에 미치는 영향 (Impact of Personal Health Information Security Awareness on Convenience)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 병원이용 경험이 있는 일반인과 의료종사자 사이의 개인의료정보의 중요성, 개인의료 정보 관련 법규, 의료정보시스템에 관한 인식차이와 이를 토대로 병원이용 편의성에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보기 위함이다. 이를 위해 선행연구 고찰 이후 연구모형을 설정하였고, 일반인 150부, 의료종사자 150부 총 300부의 설문을 회수 후 분석을 실시하였다. 먼저 집단 간의 차이분석에서 일반인과 의료종사자 간의 인식의 차이가 있음이 밝혀졌다. 그리고 성별, 연령별, 거주지별 집단 간에도 인식의 차이가 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 병원이용편의성에 있어서도 의료종사자들은 개인의료정보보안에 대한 인식이 강화되면 병원 이용 편의성이 향상된다는 인식이 일반인에 비해 높은 것으로 밝혀졌다. 가설 검정 결과에서는 개인의료정보의 노출 및 의료정보시스템에 관한 인식이 높을수록 의료기관 활용에 있어서 의사결정 편의성이 높아짐을 확인할 수 있었다. 반면 개인의료정보보안 관련 법규에 관하여는 인식이 높아질수록 병원 이용의 의사결정 편의성과 거래 편의성에 영향을 주지 않음을 확인할 수 있다. 본 연구의 결과는 개인의료정보보안에 대한 인식의 강화는 의료서비스를 제공받고 선택함에 있어서의 의사결정과 거래편의성을 향상시킨다는 것을 실증분석 했다는 것이다.
