  • The purpose of this paper is to estimate the revenue function of the personal income tax of Korea. Unlike the traditional approach employing the data adjustment, this paper explicitly includes the explanatory variables of the tax rate or schedule in the revenue function and further estimates the functions by income sources such as labor, interest, global, and dividend incomes. One of the main findings is the GNP elasticity of the combined personal income tax is around 1.2 when evaluated on the basis of the estimates of the GNP elasticities of tax revenue from respective income sources, which is somewhat smaller than those in the previous studies. Another interesting result is that the GNP and interest rate elasticities of the interest income, are found around one and .15 respectively, as expected. Also, the estimate of the tax-free income coefficient is significantly negative in the labor income tax revenue function.

Concerns Based Adoption Model (CBAM) was modified to provide a conceptual framework for this study. Frequencies, SD, mean, mode, range were used to determine the stages of concern of HE teachers. To determine the relationships between stages of concerns and personal and professional characteristics of HE teachers, coefficient of Chi-Square contingency tables was used. Content analysis was used to determine aspects of interest about the practical problem-bsed curriculum approach, such as W&FLC. The median of the stages of HE teachers' concerns about W&FLC was Stage 1, Information Stage. About 60% of HE teachers were interested in learning more details about W&FLC. Chi-square revealed no statistically significant relationships between stages of concerns about W&FLC and characteristics of HE teachers. Content analysis was used to determine aspects of interest about W&FLC of HE teachers. Nine categories were found: content, teaching strategies, implementation of the curriculum, philosophical framework, how to adopt W&FLC, resource materials, students' outcomes, in-service teacher training, and HE teacher organization. The majority of HE teachers were interested in relationships with family and others, resource management, family relationships, personal development, communication skill, family life, creating a self-identity, life planning, roles of family members, homemaking management, child care, and parenting.

  • This study examined the factors affecting the intention of the public to share electronic medical records(EMR) based on the theory of reasoned action and the privacy calculus model. It also investigated whether the purpose of EMR sharing varies depending on personal characteristics, such as the degree of interest in health and personal medical history. According to an online survey of 145 people, altruistic enjoyment, awareness of personal information protection, recognition of legal and institutional roles, and interest in health had a positive impact on the level of EMR sharing, and trust in hospitals positively adjusted the relationship between recognition of legal and institutional roles and sharing intentions. Accordingly, we confirmed that the public recognized the role of the government and hospitals in the sharing process as necessary. The public interest benefits of sharing are critical to activating public participation in the sharing of EMR, and it is also essential to prepare guidelines that legally guarantee the security and proper use of EMR.

  • As a solution to the rapid urbanization problem, interest in and use of personal mobility devices such as bicycles and electric kickboards are increasing, and accidents are also rising every year. In this study, a smart vest to prevent traffic accidents and promote safe driving of personal mobility users was designed and implemented. Unlike the existing products on the market that indicate directions using buttons, the smart vest designed and implemented in this study indicates the moving direction by shaking a bracelet and displays the direction by LEDs on the vest. Therefore, this product was designed and implemented to be safer and differentiated from other existing products.

  • Human works shift its roll from physical condition to the system supervisory control task In this paper safety-presentation configuration is discussed instead of well-known fault-warning configuration. Of paticular interest was the personal factor which include the cognitive process. Through a performance between each person information processing(d') and decision process($\beta$) was pointed out to explain the sensitivity of personal cognitive process. Impact of uncertainty effect the supervisor having doubt situations. These facts are released by the use of flat fuzzy number of $\beta$ and its learning rate R.

  • In the trend of continuously increasing collection and use of personal information, there are legal grounds for protecting personal information and various policies and systems are implemented, but there is insufficient analysis about education and its effect of personal information protection. In this study, we surveyed and analyzed the degree of awareness and actual perception level in the protection of personal information of college students, and investigated the satisfaction of personal information protection education. The results of the analysis showed that students' interest in privacy protection and concern about personal information exposure was very high, but the efforts to protect personal information and the perception level of rights and systems for protecting personal information was very low. In addition, the experience and satisfaction of education for personal information protection were found to be very low. Students felt that the necessity of education for personal information protection was strongly agreed and preferred regular and continuous education rather than one-time education.

Specifically, two major aspects of parental authority-legitimacy and obedience-were explored. The subjects of this study were 120 children from an elementary school in Kwangju. There were 40 subjects (20 males and 20 females) in each of three age groups: 7-, 9-, and 11- year-olds. The subjects were administered an interview individually. Based on Tisak (1986) open-ended questions concerning three family rules (moral rule, social-conventional rule, personal issue) were administered. Responses to the assessment questions were coded as positive or negative. Responses to the judgment conception questions were coded into 7 categories : Other's Walfare, Social Coordination, Personal choice, Deservedness of Punishment for Wrongdoing, Existence of Authority, Conflicting Personal Interest and Authority, and Personal Development. Statistical analysis of obtained data was by percentage and ${\chi}_2$ test using log linear procedure. The children (average 96%) stated that it was all right for parents to make rules prohiliting an act when it pertained to moral and social conventions. However, the majority of the children (average 40%) stated that it was not right for parents to regulate personal issues. (2) There was a significant interaction effect between type of rule and age. (3) There was a significant main effect of rules on the children's judgment conception of parental authority. (4) There was a significant interaction effect between rules and ages on children's judgment conception of parental authority.
