메뉴 교체의 관리 방안에 관한 연구 -호텔 레스토랑을 중심으로- (A Study on the Menu Management of Betel Restaurants)

  • The rapidly changing environments of today's hospitality industry lays more and more emphasis on the management of food & beverage sector. Hotel restaurants changes their menus 2 times a year. But they tend to modify or complement old items, or imitate other restaurants'menus, rather than try new ones. In addition, the change cycles are determined without any systematic and scientific criteria. Based on the survey, a plan for managing menu change cycles is proposed. The proposed plan is summarized as follows: First, the survey result demonstrates that the appropriate frequency of menu changes is: twice a year for the fixed menu; four times for the seasonal menu; four times for the promotion menu; twice for the business menu; and, three times for the event menu. Second, under the management maintained by consistent monitoring of menu change. Third, menu change should be managed through the menu analyses on its profitability, popularity, and the potential for further growth. Fourth, menu change should be managed through the periodic investigations of the tastes and preferences of the customers. fifth, a unique system for the menu change should be constructed by analyzing of other competitive restaurants or restaurant chain stores.

광 디스크 드라이브의 편심 보상을 위한 적응 반복 제어 (Adaptive Repetitive Control for an Eccentricity Compensation of Optical Disk Drive)

  • 본 논문에서는 변하는 주기 기준 신호를 추종하기 위한 광학 디스크 드라이브의 적응 반복 제어 기법을 제시한다. 주기가 알려진 주기적인 외란은 반복 제어 개념을 이용하면 충분히 제거할 수 있다. 광학 디스크 드라이브는 다양한 속도를 지원하기 때문에 변하는 주기의 외란을 가진다. 기준 주기 변화를 추종하기 위해 샘플링 주파수를 변화시키는 반복 제어를 기초로 하여 주기가 변하는 외란을 다루기 위한 적응 반복 제어를 제안한다. 제안한 제어 기법은 반복 제어기와 주파수 발생기고 구성된다. 전자는 외란 주파수의 고정 배수에서 동작하는 가변 샘플러를 사용하고 후자는 외란 주파수에 따라 변하는 샘플링 주파수를 발생한다. 광학 디스크 드라이브 제어 대한 실험 결과에서 제안한 기법의 우수성과 랜덤 탐색 시간의 개선을 보인다.

Experimental Investigation of Porous Bearings Under Different Lubricant and Lubricating Conditions

  • The performance of porous bearing under different lubricants and lubricating conditions was experimentally investigated in this study. In order to carry out the experiments, a new test rig was designed to determine the tribological properties of based sintered bronze journal bearings that were manufactured by powder metallurgy (P/M) techniques. To determine the effects of lubricating conditions with and without oil supplement (OS) on the tribological characteristics of these bearings under static loading and periodic loadings, some experiments were carried out using different lubricants. In the tests, pure base oil (SAE 20W50), two fully formulated commercial engine oils (SAE20W50) and lubricating oils with commercial additive concentration ratio of 3% were used. The worn surfaces of test bearings were examined using optical microscopy. Experimental results showed that the change in friction coefficient was more stable and in smaller magnitude under static loading than that of periodic loading. In addition, the friction coefficient and the wear rate conducted with base oil resulted in higher values than those of fully formulated oils with and without OS lubricating conditions. The experimental results obtained in this study indicated that the correct selection of lubricant and suitable running conditions were very important on the tribological characteristics of porous bearings.

주기적 연료 공급이 비애혼합 화염 특성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (The Effects of Periodic Fuel Supply on the Flame Stability and Soot Formation)

  • The effects of periodic fuel supply on the nonpremixed flame stability and soot formation were experimentally studied. A solenoid valve was used to control the period of fuel supply. The laser induced incandescence technique was used to visualize cool: volume fraction profile. The flame base shape was changed significantly by the fuel supply period and partially by the fuel flowrates. The portion of bluish flame near the flame base became larger as the period increased. When the period was long, two flames coexisted within one period. It seemed that the characteristic of flame stability were repeated with 4.68m change of fuel supply line length. The soot mass measurements and soot volume fraction measurements revealed that the maximum suppression of soot by the perioic fuel supply was approximately 75% , which occurred when the occurred when the fuel supply period was relatively long.

  • Ti 확산 리튬나오베이트 채널 광도파로의 z-축 분극을 주기적으로 $180^{\circ}$ 위상 변화시키는 Ti:PPLN 제작 공정을 검토하고, 개선하였다. 분극반전 공정에 적합한 지그와 Labview 프로그램을 이용하여 전하량 제어시스템을 고안하였다. 분극반전에 필요한 전하량으로부터 분극에 적절한 고전압 펄스와 duty-cycle을 조절하였으며, 분극에 필요한 임계 전압 보다 작은 전압을 인가한 상태에서 누설전류의 변화를 관찰하여 절연파괴 현상을 또한 최소화하였다.

  • In this study, we consider the characteristics of channel flow in the presence of an infinite streamwise array of equispaced identical rotating circular cylinders. This flow configuration can be regarded as a model representing a micro channel or an internal heat exchanger with cylindrical vortex generators. A numerical parametric study has been carried out by varying Reynolds number based on the bulk mean velocity and the cylinder diameter, and the gap between the cylinders and the channel wall for some selected angular speeds. An immersed boundary method was employed to facilitate implementing the cylinders on a Cartesian grid system. No-slip condition is employed at all solid boundaries including the cylinders, and the flow is assumed to be periodic in the streamwise direction. The presence of the rotating circular cylinders arranged periodically in the streamwise direction causes a significant topological change of the flow, leading to increase of mean friction on the channel walls. More quantitative results as well as qualitative physical explanations are presented to justify the effectiveness of rotating cylinders to modify flow topology, which might be used to enhance heat transfer on the channel walls.

MJO의 다중스케일 분석을 통한 수십년 변동성 (A multi-scale analysis of the interdecadal change in the Madden-Julian Oscillation)

  • A new multi-timescale analysis method, Ensemble Empirical Mode Decomposition (EEMD), is used to diagnose the variation of the MJO activity determined by 850hPa and 200hPa zonal winds from the National Centers for Environmental Prediction/National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCEP/NCAR) Reanalysis data for the 56-yr period from 1950 to 2005. The results show that MJO activity can be decomposed into 9 quasi-periodic oscillations and a trend. With each level of contribution of the quasi-periodic oscillation discussed, the bi-seasonal oscillation, the interannual oscillation and the trend of the MJO activity are the most prominent features. The trend increases almost linearly, so that prior to around 1978 the activity of the MJO is lower than that during the latter part. This may be related to the tropical sea surface temperature(SST). It is speculated that the interdecadal change in the MJO activity appeared in around 1978 is related to the warmer SST in the equatorial warm pool, especially over the Indian Ocean.

우리나라 수산업의 시기별 특징과 구조변화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Periodic Characteristics and the Structural Change in Korean Fisheries)

  • The fisheries industry has been changed drastically during the so - called Golden Growth Era of Korea. Recently, WTO/DDA agenda drove industries out of their safe refuges toward infinite competitions in the world. This paper aims at finding out distinguished features in the structural changes of fisheries since 70s. Furthermore, policy implications are investigated in order for the fisheries to survive in the outdoors. The paper consists of the following sections. First, we consider why and for what the structural change of fisheries in historical perspective should be investigated. And we introduce how we can approach to the goal in various aspects in the second section. In the third section, we examine the historical change of Korean fisheries in respect of national economy, resource allocation mechanism, industrial structure, and fisheries society. In the fourth section, we extract the development steps in fisheries from the periodic characteristics, using various methods of the above approaches. And we deduce the next step for Korean fisheries in the future. Finally, we conclude that there needs some turning point of fisheries policies in Korea, striving to foster the fisheries industry in the future. As results of empirical analysis in this paper, we find that fisheries industry in Korea has experienced some momentous changes during 30 years, using I/O data of B.O.K. The weight of fisheries sector in the whole economy of Korea increased during early 70s, initially leading the national economy to export - oriented engine for growth. But fisheries sector has shrunk rapidly since late 70s. Almost resources in Korea were allocated to expanding manufacturing industries. Further, fisheries industry has encountered perfect international competitions since the late 90s. This paper draws that fisheries industry in Korea will jump across to next step of qualitative growth in the future. Therefore, we recommend that the policies should be focused on enhancing the industrial competitiveness, switching quantitative growth to qualitative advance in fisheries.

구한말${\sim}$일제강점기 한강 중류지역에 있어서 교통기관의 발달에 따른 유통구조의 변화 (Changes of Periodic Markets by Transportation Facilities Development in the Middle Stream Region of Han-River during the Late Chosun dynasty and Japanese Colony Period)

  • 구한말과 일제시기 동안 조선 후기의 유통구조는 근본적인 변화를 겪었는데, 한강 중류지역의 변화를 통해 그 변화 모습의 대강을 찾아볼 수 있었다. 구한말과 1900년대 초반 원거리 운송은 주로 한강 수운에 의해, 단거리 운송은 소와 사람에 의해 이루어졌다. 따라서 포구가 원거리 운송의 결절점으로서 물자 이출입의 통로 역할을 하였다. 1905년 경부선 철도의 개통과 1911년부터 대대적으로 벌어진 신작로 개설 및 우마차의 본격적인 사용은 한강 원거리 유통구조에 일대 혁신을 불러왔다. 이출부분에서 경부선 철도의 개통으로 현재의 이천시와 용인시 안성시의 행정적 경계가 경부선과 남한강 수운 영향권의 경계선으로 등장하였다. 이입부분에서는 경부선 철도의 개통으로 철도역과 관계되어 있는 안성장, 오산장, 수원장 등이 고차중심지로 새롭게 떠오르고, 우마차의 본격적인 사용으로 중 단거리 운송비가 1/4 정도로 절감됨에 따라 서울 한강변 포구와의 경쟁력이 급속히 강화되어 남한강 서쪽지역의 대부분까지 그 영향권을 확대한 것으로 보인다. 1927년 천장선(天長線)(천안${\sim}$장호원), 1932년 수려선(水驪線) 철도(鐵道)가 개통(開通)됨으로써 원거리 유통구조는 다시 한번 변화를 겪게 된다. 이들 노선의 개통으로 이출부분에서 여주 이천 남쪽 지역의 대부분을 철도가 장악함으로써 남한강 수운에 대한 결정적 타격을 입히게 되었다. 이입부분에서는 한강 중류지역으로부터 유입되던 물자가 경부선 철도역 장시들을 통하지 않고 직접 들어오게 됨에 따라 안성장, 오산장, 수원장의 한강 증류지역에 대한 고차중심지적 성격이 거의 사라지게 되었다. 양평 지역은 1930년대까지도 철도의 영향권 밖에 있었기 때문에 남한강 수운에 대한 의존도가 매우 높았던 것으로 보인다. 하지만 중앙선이 1939년 양평까지, 1942년 원주까지 개통됨에 따라 비슷한 변화가 나타났을 것으로 예상된다.

산업안전교육의 효용성 제고방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effectiveness Raise of Industrial Safety Training)

  • Every safety and health activity relies to some extent on education and training. Through effective education and training, people learn how to recognize safety and health hazards and how to control them. Thus, in most cases education and training is the first step in an accident prevention program. In this study, we analyzed safety training course-compare with Industrial Safety & Health Act, KISCO and KISA's rules,-and applied to workplace. In the safety training of workplace on the ground of the Industrial Safety & Health Act, the ratio of periodic employee refresher training to the total training subjects is only 25% and it of supervisor training is 16.7%. The ratio of training implemented in workplace about Knowledge, Skill, Attitude is as follows Periodic update training ; 15.1% : 7.5% : 64.2% New employees training ; 15.7% : 5.9% : 58.8% Job-change training ; 32.6% : 23.2% : 39.5% Specific safety & health training : 34.8% : 8.7% : 45.6%.
