The Characteristic of Reward in Computer Assisted Learning

  • Computer Assisted Learning (CAL) is quite different from in many aspects. CAL provides individualistic learning environment and facilitates autonomy of the learner. Thus the learners who uses CAL program has more sense of control and engages in more strategic learning than conventional learning environment. In this experiment, we used KORI (KORea university intelligent agent) which is a new type of ITS adopting TA (Teachable Agent) that fosters learning by teaching, So, we investigated the critical motivational factor that have influences in CAL learning and the effects of reward in CAL are another area of our interest. Thus, we divided two conditions that presence of reward and absence of reward. The 174 elementary school students(5th) were participated and they are randomly assigned the one of the reward conditions. Before entering the experimental instruction, all participants measured about metacognition, self-efficacy and goal orientation questionnaire as independent variables. Then, Participants were instructed of method of using KORI program and asked to study for ten days with KORI program at least 20 minutes everyday in their home, about 10 days. After 10 days, they were rated interest and comprehension. Regression results suggest that regardless of the presence of reward, metacognition is a positive predictor in interestingness. It indicate that metacognitive skills are required in CAL learning situation irrespective of reward. But on comprehension in the absence of reward, only self- efficacy appeared to be a positive predictor. In the presence of reward, performance goal orientation showed as a negative predictor of comprehension, whereas self-efficacy was a positive predictor. This result suggest that presence of reward especially interferes learning process of performance goal orientation in CAL learning situation. It could be interpreted that reward interferes the learning process of performance goal orientation by debilitating intrinsic motivation.

  • 서론 : 뇌줄중 환자의 상지 운동 결손은 일상생활에서 수행하는 많은 활동에 큰 어려움을 겪게 만든다. 작업치료사들은 다양한 활동을 제공함으로써 일상생활의 참여를 돕기 위해서 노력하지만 학습자의 특성과 환경을 고려하지 않은 채 훈련이 이루어지고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 운동 학습 이론과 원칙에 대해 알아보고 작업치료 영역에 적용하기 위한 임상적 고려에 대해 제언해보고자 한다. 본론 : 운동학습의 원칙으로는 학습의 단계, 과제의 형태, 실행 또는 연습, 피드백이 있는 학습의 단계에 따라 운동학습의 원칙을 적용할 수 있을 것이다. 초기단계에서는 학습목표와 작업환경에 대한 충분한 이해가 선행되어야 하며 지속적이며 차단된 연습, 전체 과제 연습이 학습을 촉진시킨다. 후기단계에서는 내제적 피드백에 의존하도록 유도하여야 하며 열린과제, 무작위 연습이 수행을 증진시킨다. 결론 : 치료기전으로 제공되는 다양한 운동학습의 원칙을 적용하기 위해서는 치료계획 수립 시에 체계적으로 결정되어야 할 것이다. 작업치료사들은 환자 각각의 평가결과를 바탕으로 환자의 수준에서 수행을 증진시킬 수 있는 효과적인 운동학습의 원칙을 계획하고 치료적 변화를 계속 모니터링하면서 변경시켜나가야 할 것이다.

행위중심적 유방자가검진 교육이 간호학생의 지식, 자기효능감 및 수행능력에 미치는 효과 (Effects of Action Oriented Breast Self-examination(BSE) Education on Knowledge, Self-efficacy, and Performance Competence in Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: This study was undertaken to test effects of action oriented BSE education on knowledge, selfefficacy, and performance competence in nursing students. Methods: A non-equivalent pre-posttest of time serial quasi-experimental design was used to prevent diffusion of the experiment. Out of 53 nursing students selected by convenient sampling in the third grade at a nursing college, 27 students were randomly assigned to the control group and were first given a traditional lecture on BSE. For the experimental group of 26 students action oriented BSE education consisted of lectures, demonstrations with breast models, and BSE skill practice by micro teaching. Results: There was no significant difference in general and BSE-related characteristics between the two groups. Scores of the experimental group in knowledge, self-efficacy, and performance after the intervention were significantly higher than those of the control group. Conclusions: Results showed that action- oriented BSE education was effective in increasing knowledge, self-efficacy and performance competence in nursing students. Education for students should incorporate strategies reinforcing confidence by practicing actual BSE skills as well as acquiring knowledge of BSE, so that students can become competent and practical cancer prevention educators.

양궁 수행력 향상을 위한 훈련관리 시스템 개발 (Development of Archery Training Management System for Archer's Performance)

  • 본 연구는 양궁 수행력 향상을 위한 훈련관리 시스템 개발을 위해서 기존 스포츠용 전산 프로그램 및 시스템 분석과 문헌 검토를 통해 훈련관리 영역과 요인들을 도출하였다. 전산 프로그램 개발 전문가 2인, 양궁 지도자 2인, 체육학 박사 1인으로 구성된 전문가 회의를 통해 훈련관리 시스템의 구성 요인을 범주화 하였다. 개발된 양궁 훈련관리 시스템은 약 12개월이 소요되었으며, 크게 로그인 및 주화면 영역, 신상정보, 심리검사 및 체력검사 측정 등의 선수정보 영역, 탄착군 정보 영역, 기간별로 거리와 발수에 따라 다양한 탄착군 분석과 통계 분석이 가능한 빈도수 추이분석 영역, 원하는 Set의 다양한 정밀분석과 선택한 기간내 탄착군의 오발분석이 가능한 정밀 분석 영역으로 구성되었다. 개발된 양궁 훈련관리 시스템은 종합적이고 과학적인 선수 훈련관리가 가능하며, 양궁 수행력 향상에 타당한 것으로 사료된다.

병원의 특성에 따른 시장지향성 분석과 성과에 있어서 환경의 조절 역할 (The Degree of Market Orientation by Type and Size of Hospital, and Moderating Effect of Environments on Performance)

  • This study was to examine the degree of market orientated effort by hospital type and size,. and analyzed the moderating effect of environments between market orientation and it's performance. First, there was no significant differences by hospital type, such public hospital, university hospital, and private hospital. However, the orders of market orientation implementation was university hospital. private hospital, and public hospital This finding suggest that university hospital and public hospital, should be market-oriented, or customer-oriented more now, relatively. Second, there were no significant differences in marketing as management policy by hospital types, i.e. public, university or private sector hospitals. However, as to the intensity of the implementation of the market-oriented approach, private hospitals came first, followed by the university hospitals, then the public ones. This finding suggests that university and public hospitals should be more market or customer oriented to compete in the market. Third, only the competitive environment does active moderating roll on hospital performance. The competitive environmental factor forces the organization to be more market oriented. This means the more you are positively situated in the competitive environment, the more you are looking for a market oriented approach. You become more aware of the value of customers and you become more focused on the customer satisfaction and thus become more patient oriented in every facet of decision making. And market oriented hospitals recognize the importance of utilization of high tech medical treatment skills and equipment in patient care. Fourth, according the analysis, market oriented effort gives more influence on hospital performance than the environmental factors. This means that the market oriented effort should become a culture of the hospital which seeks to out distance themselves from its competitors.

정부 R&D 지원사업의 참여요인이 중소기업의 R&D 성과에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Government R&D Subsidies Program Participation Factor for SMEs R&D Performances)

  • 본 연구는 정부의 R&D 지원사업에 참여하는 중소기업들의 참여요인이 기업의 R&D성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 것이다. 현재 정부의 R&D 지원사업은 여러 형태로 운영되고 있으며, 각 기업에 보조금이나 설비 및 장치, 인력, 교육 등의 지원이 이루어지고 있다. 각 기업들 또한 다양한 사업 참여요인을 가지고 지원 사업에 참여하게 된다. 따라서 본 연구는 이와 같은 정부 R&D 지원사업의 사업수행 종료 후, 기업의 다양한 참여요인이 관리적 성과에 해당하는 사업관리능력에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는지 대한 가설을 검증한다. 또한, 사업관리능력이 기술적 성과인 R&D 투자 강화와 기술역량 강화에 영향을 미치는지에 대한 가설을 검증한다. 이 분석결과를 통해 향후 정부지원사업에 참여하는 여러 기업들의 전략적 R&D성과 관리를 위한 방향설정에 도움이 될 것이다.

  • 최근 10년간 정부에서는 서비스산업에 대한 많은 정책들을 발표 및 추진하고 있으며 서비스산업의 중요한 역할은 일자리 창출이며 안정적인 고용창출능력을 가졌을 뿐만 아니라 고용파급효과도 매우 크다. 2015년 6월 통계청의 발표를 보면 청년실업률(15~29세)은 10.2%를 나타냈다. 이는 6월 기준으로 1999년 6월 11.3%를 기록한 이후 16년 만에 가장 높은 수준이다. 서비스산업은 이처럼 악화되는 경제상황을 타개할 수 있는 하나의 대안으로 인식된다. 이에 서비스산업 유형별로 한국형 GWP변수를 적용하여 경영했을 때 어떤 성과의 차이가 있을까? GWP변수들은 서비스산업별로 어떤 변수가 더 중요하게 인식될까? GWP변수들은 구성원의 팀워크 활동에 어떤 영향을 미치고 직무몰입에는 어떤 영향을 미칠까? 그리고 그간 사례연구로만 검증하였던 경영성과에 대한 영향관계도 실증적으로 검증해보고자 했다.

CAD/CAM 전문 인력 양성을 위한 교육 및 업무의 필요성 (The Need of Education and Practice to Bring Up CAD/CAM Experts)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to ascertain the need to reform curriculums for digital experts in a way that include the practical and educational aspects of dental labs by determining why educational reforms are needed to comply with changes in dental technology business that are brought by the applications of digital scanning and what changes are being actually brought by the use of CAD/CAM. Methods: This study analyzed the need of education and practice in relation to CAD/CAM by using the independent sample t-test and One-way ANOVA. in accordance with the participants demographic characteristics and job-related variables and factors related to CAD/CAM, and provided only some of the analysis results that were found statistically significant. Concerning the need of education and practice in relation to CAD/CAM, the study also used the independent sample t-test to measure difference in the perception of that need within each of the three groups, or those of job performance, job efficiency and knowledge gain at the signficance level of ${\alpha}=.05$. Results: Dental technologists surveyed here were perceiving that the use of CAD/CAM would bring changes in their job performance, job efficiency and knowledge gain. They were expecting that the biggest changes would be made in work climate and product quality as sub-areas of job performance. However, they said that in terms of job efficiency, the use of CAD/CAM would change job contribution, job satisfaction and job efficiency, but not lead to staffing. These results suggest that more special programs for CAD/CAM education are needed to bring up CAD/CAM experts who are more specialized. Conclusion: Among 13 skills related to CAD/CAM, what is most needed to be educated to dental technologists was "molding the occlusal surface" (M=4.19), followed by "designing the 3-D work" (M=4.17), "final shape modification" (M=4.16), "molding the border" (M=4.15) and "checking the fit of prothesis" (M=4.14) in order.

  • 근래, TV 방송의 지상파와 케이블 방송 등에서 가창력 평가를 통한 엔터테인먼트 프로그램이 대단히 큰 인기를 끌고 있다. 그러나 높은 인기에도 불구하고 현재의 가창력을 포함한 음악적 공감대 평가방법은 청중 평가단의 정성적 느낌 평가에 절대적으로 의존하고 있는 실정이다. 이에 이 같은 정성적 느낌을 정량적인 지표로 객관화하기 위한 방법의 제시가 엔터테인먼트 산업 분야에서 중요한 이슈가 되었고 또 더 나아가 사회의 요구사항이 된 실정이다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 ICT 기술을 적용하여 대중 가수들 및 음악적 공감대를 평가 받아야 하는 분야에 있어 이를 시각적, 정량적으로 평가 할 수 있는 기술적 방법론에 대해 제안하고자 한다.

표준화 환자에 대한 학생 평가와 환자의사관계 점수와의 관계 (The Relationship between Medical Students' Assessment of Standardized Patients and Patient‐Physician Interaction Score)

  • When standardized patients (SPs) are used for educational purposes, the authenticity of role play and the quality of feedback are essential requirements of SPs. This study was conducted to investigate medical students' assessment of SPs and to identify the components of SPs' performance that were most strongly correlated with patient-physician interaction score. One hundred and forty-two fourth-year medical students were asked to complete the Maastricht Assessment of Simulated Patients (MaSP) at the end of a clinical performance examination. SPs evaluated the patient-physician interactions using a 4-point Likert scale (1=poor to 4=excellent). Medical students' assessment of SPs using the MaSP was positively correlated with patient-physician interactions (r=0.325, p<0.01). Items addressing the authenticity of role play (e.g., "SPs appear authentic," "SPs might be real patients," and "SPs answer questions in a natural manner") were closely correlated with patient-physician interactions (p<0.001, p=0.027, and p=0.017, respectively). These results showed that the MaSP appears to be a useful instrument for evaluating SPs' performance and that the authenticity of SPs' performance was positively correlated with medical students' interactions. In order to improve patient-physician interactions, medical students should be given opportunities to practice their skills with SPs who have been trained to portray patients with a specific condition in a realistic way.
