영상 품질 기반의 지문 데이터베이스의 난이도 정량화 (Measuring Level of Difficulty of Fingerprint Database based on Sample Quality)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 지문인식 평가용 데이터베이스의 난이도(Level of Difficulty)를 지문영상 품질 평가를 통하여 정량화 하는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 지문 데이터베이스의 난이도 정량화 방법으로 품질 분포도 분석 방법과 품질 차이 분석 방법을 제안한다. 품질 분포도 분석 방법은 지문 영상의 품진 등급별 빈도수를 기반으로 데이터베이스 전체의 난이도를 표현한 방법이고, 품질 차이 분석 방법은 데이터베이스를 구성하는 동일 지문의 영상들 간의 각 품질 차이별 빈도수를 동시발생 매트릭스(Co-occurrence Matrices)를 이용하여 난이도로 나타낸 방법이다. 두 방법론에 의한 실험 결과 지문영상 품질 기반의 데이터베이스의 난이도는 인식 성능과 상관관계를 가지며, 품질 분포도 기반의 난이도보다 품질 차이 기반의 난이도가 더 높은 상관관계를 보임을 확인할 수 있었다. 특히 MPQ(Matching Pairwise Qualities) 동시발생 매트릭스의 OQ(Opposite Qualities) Block 기반의 난이도 정량화 방법이 인식 성능과 가장 높은 상관관계를 나타내는 것을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구를 통해 지문영상 품질 기반의 지문 데이터베이스의 난이도를 정량화할 수 있었고, 난이도와 인식성능이 높은 상관관계를 가짐을 알 수 있다.

  • In this article, We propose research propositions about correlates of job interest, job difficulty, job effort, and job performance as well as job performance and emotions while working. The purpose of this study is to review existing research on emotions and job performance, particularly emotions at work. The purpose of this article is to review existing research on job performance and emotions, particularly at the job relevant cognitions level. In this study, We propose research propositions about correlates of job performance and emotions while working. The purpose of this article is to develop and propose research propositions about potential correlates of perceived performance at the job relevant level. Correlates include those that should function mainly as antecedents of performance, such as job difficulty, job interest, and job effort in the study are emotions experienced concurrently with job performance. Therefore, We suggest the predictive direction and bivariate relationship of the set of among variables in explaining job performance and emotions.

  • 건설 프로젝트의 대형화, 복잡화에 따라 경쟁력 확보를 위하여 비효율성을 제거하고 합리적인 관리전략 수립을 위한 프로젝트 성과측정의 중요성이 부각되고 있다. 따라서 프로젝트의 성공에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대한 연구가 지속적으로 진행되었으나 이러한 성공요인은 프로젝트 시공자가 성과 증진을 위하여 실행하는 관리방법과 개선할 수 없이 받아 들어야 하는 프로젝트 고유의 특성이 혼재되어 있어 측정된 성과 자료를 벤치마킹하는데 어려움이 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 프로젝트의 성과에는 영향을 미치지만 시공자가 개선할 수 없는 요인을 프로젝트 특성으로 정의, 분류하였으며, 특성에 따른 성과증진에 어려움 정도를 프로젝트 관리 실무자 조사를 통하여 정량적으로 평가하였다. 본 연구에서 도출한 프로젝트 성과 난이도 지수로 프로젝트 초기단계의 프로젝트 특성 정보를 활용한 프로젝트 수행의 어려움 정도를 예측할 수 있으며, 프로젝트 시공자의 효율적인 프로젝트 관리를 가능하게 할 것이다.

HIV감염인 상담간호사의 직무역량 분석 (Analysis on Job Competencies of HIV Counseling Nurses)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to identify the job competencies of HIV counseling nurses and to figure out the importance, level of difficulty, and performance frequency of the competencies. Methods: The job competencies were drawn from 22 HIV counseling nurses by developing new models and utilizing specialist groups. The importance, level of difficulty, and performance frequency of the competencies were analyzed using the average and deviation. Results: The results of this study identified 6 job competencies such as counseling performance, expertise utilization, cooperation, support, administration, and self-development, 28 sub-competencies, and 48 job descriptions. Out of the 6 job competencies, counseling performance recorded high levels in the importance, level of difficulty, and performance frequency. Conclusion: The study results will be used as the basic data of the training programs for strengthening the job competencies of HIV counseling nurses. Furthermore, it is expected that the results will contribute to the prevention of HIV/AIDS transmission, the core of the national HIV/AIDS control programmes, and the improved health and quality of life in people living with HIV.

Orientation field의 정합을 이용한 지문영상 DB의 난이도 분석 (Analysis of Level of Difficulty of Fingerprint Database by matching Orientation field)

  • 본 논문은 지문 인식 알고리즘의 신빙성 있는 성능 평가를 위해 실험에 사용되는 지문 영상 데이터베이스의 특성을 정량화하는 방법과 지문 영상 데이터베이스들의 난이도를 측정하는 방법을 제안하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 지문 영상 정합 시에 영향을 미치는 요소들을 정의하였으며, 두 지문 영상의 정합을 minutiae 기반이 아닌 orientation field을 사용하여 요소들을 평가한다. Orientation filed는 기존의 orientation 방법을 이용하되 계층적으로 측정함으로써 정합시의 속도와 정확성을 개선하였다. 실험 결과, 두 영상을 정합하여 얻어진 각각의 요소들의 측정수치는 데이터베이스들의 특성을 보여준다. 데이터베이스 난이도의 측정은 지문 인식 알고리즘들의 성능을 객관적이고 정량적으로 비교할 수 있게 해준다.

Three-dimensional Teleoperation Performance Measures: Their correlations and effects of task difficulty

  • Present study was performed to compare different types of teleoperation performance measures. A modified Cooper-Harper rating scale and a distance measure were newly introduced and compared to two traditional measures, the error rate and time-to-completion. Participants performed a simulated telerobotic task with varying visual display interfaces. The results of correlation analyses revealed that the modified Cooper-Harper ratings had a close association with the error rate measure. The distance measure also appeared to be a consistent performance measure, which accounted for both the error rate and time-to-completion. A further analysis, however, showed that the effectiveness of each performance measure varied with the level of task difficulty. The results imply that the choice of performance measure should be made based on the task difficulty as well as the particular task being studied. The results revealed here also have implication for performance measures of various display and control systems including aircraft navigation displays and tactical displays.

Application and Consideration on Open-ended Problems in Mathematics Tests of Shanghai Senior Middle School Entrance Examination

  • After reviewing China's appearance and research on the Math open-ended problems, together with the application of those problems in mathematics test of Shanghai Senior Middle School Entrance Exams (SSMSEE) since 1999, this paper points out the difficulty in establishing an evaluation system for such problem. Through comparative study, the paper gives an operational definition of open-ended problem, and it attempts to establish an evaluation system and non-systematic competence targets that are appropriate to Math open-ended problems. Meanwhile, it describes the performance feature of those targets. By applying the standard international grading system of difficulty, it discusses the elements of difficulty in Math open-ended problems, and puts forward an evaluation as well as a level-of-difficulty forecasting system that is appropriate to the Middle School Entrance Exam.

뇌졸중 환자에서 이중 과제로서의 산술 과제 난이도가 보행에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Arithmetic Task Difficulty level as a Dual Task on the Gait in Post-stroke Patient)

  • Many daily activities require people to complete a motor task while walking. Substantial gait decrements during simultaneous attention to a variety of cognitive tasks have been shown by a group of severely injured neurological patients of mixed etiology. And previous studies have shown that the attentional load of a walking-associated task increased with its level of difficulty. The purpose of this study was to analyze subjects' gait changes are affected by the effects of arithmetic task difficulty and performance level. Participants performed a walking task alone, three different Arithmetic tasks while seated, and among them, two kinds of the simillar Arithmetic tasks in combination with walking. Reaction time and accuracy were recorded for two of the Arithmetic tasks. The mean values of the gait were measured using a Timed Up and Go test among 11 with post-stroke patients while walking with and without forward counting (WFC) and backward counting(WBC).There was significant Arithmetic Task Difficulty level between the 10-forward counting task condition(FC) and the 10-backward counting task condition(BC)(p=0.008). The mean values of T.U.G time were significantly higher under backward counting dual-task condition than during a simple walking task(p=0.009) and WFC(p=0.009). The change in T.U.G time during WFC was higher when compared with the change during a simple walking, but there was no significant difference (p=0.246). This study suggesting that a high interference could be linked with a high level of difficulty, whereas adaptive task enabled participants to perfectly share their attention between two concurrent tasks. Future research should determine whether dual task training can reduce gait decrements in dual task situations in people after stroke. And the dual-task-based exercise program is feasible and beneficial for improving walking ability in subjects with stroke.

Selecting Optimum Management Practicesin Pre-construction Phase Considering Project Characteristics

  • The importance of project performance management as an alternative for solving problems is rising, which are followed by the hardships of managing construction project in the construction industry. This research classifies and applies the improvements made by the operator's work, in order to apply factors of success on the construction project, as performance management factors. In addition, in order to predict the results reflecting the project characteristic of performance management factor un-improvable by the operator in the initial stage of construction, the effect of project characteristic to the performance was drawn by performance difficulty. Also, in order to improve the predicted performance, researches on setting valid best practices according to the performance territory through a correlation analysis between the best practices improvable through the operator's work, and the performance was made.

게임플레이 상태의 성과를 통한 게임숙련도 평가방법 (Estimation Method of User's Gameplay Skill Level through the Performance of Gameplay Status)

  • 컴퓨터게임은 재미를 위해 지속적으로 유저의 몰입상태를 유지시켜야 한다. 몰입이론에 따르면 몰입상태의 유지는 유저의 게임숙련도와 게임 난이도의 계속적인 균형을 요구한다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 제로섬 게임을 가정할 수 있는 캐주얼 액션게임에 적용할 수 있는 9등급 수준의 게임숙련도 평가방법을 제안하였고 부가적으로 유저가 경험한 9등급 수준의 게임난이도 추측방법을 제안하였다. 제안하는 방법은 조건별 수학식에 의한 판정방법이기 때문에 신속하고 쉽게 구현이 가능하다. 커스터마이징한 팩맨게임에 대해 제안하는 방법의 정확성을 실험해본 결과 숙련도의 정확성은 평균적으로 1.2등급의 차이가 나타났고 난이도의 정확성은 평균적으로 1.81등급 차이가 나타났다. 실험결과를 통해 제안하는 방법을 제로섬 조건을 만족하는 캐주얼 액션 게임에 적용할 수 있는 정확성을 갖고 있음을 확인하였다.
