The purpose of this study is not only to investigate the effects of air layer in the turbine chamber on the performance and internal flow of the cross-flow turbine, but also to suggest a newly developed air supply method. Field test is performed in order to measure the output power of the turbine by a new air supply method. CFD analysis on the performance and internal flow of the turbine is conducted by an unsteady state calculation using a two-phase flow model in order to embody the air layer effect on the turbine performance effectively. The result shows that air layer effect on the performance of the turbine is considerable. The air layer located in the turbine runner passage plays the role of preventing a shock loss at the runner axis and suppressing a recirculation flow in the runner. The location of air suction hole on the chamber wall is very important factor for the performance improvement. Moreover, the ratio between air from suction pipe and water from turbine inlet is also significant factor of the turbine performance.

Company's survival in a changing business environment is depend on what kind of strategy will be used for facing this business competition society. Purpose: In an infinite market competition, companies are adopting management systems to gain a competitive advantage. The expectancy effect of the management system is management performance improvement and accurate measurements. These can be made through quality records with integrity and maintainability. This paper examines the operation of records management standards, which are records, storage and management standards for quality records to understand the needs of records management standards and empathize with their needs. Methods: This paper examines PEC's (Pields Engineering Co., Ltd.) specific processes and standards for integrating individual management systems and establishing records management standards. We also look at the specific features of the Search Tool and Document Storage Management Standards that support records management standards. Results: The integration process of PEC's individual management system consists of five steps. A PDCA-based process was established to erode the confusion and inefficiencies caused by overlap between individual management systems. Also, by accurately grasping corporate competence, PEC established a record management standard suitable for the characteristics of the company. PEC's records management standards are used as a useful standard for organizing quality records, and have an impact on management performance improvement. Conclusion: PEC's records management standards enable the verification of quality performance rates and performance measures. Companies can implement appropriate quality improvement strategies based on the numbers identified by introducing records management standards. Companies can succeed in improving management performance when operating quality management that combines performance measurement techniques and records management standards.

아웃소싱은 국내 소매기업에서 대부분이 활용하고 있을 만큼 보편화되어 있지만 지금까지 이에 대한 체계적인 연구는 부족한 실정이며, 특히 소매기업의 아웃소싱이 마케팅 성과에 어떤 영향을 미쳤는지에 대한 선행연구는 이루어지지 못하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 소매기업의 현실적인 여건을 염두에 두고 문헌연구를 종합적으로 고찰해 연구 모형을 구축하여 아웃소싱의 전략요인인 아웃소싱 목표 및 범위의 명확화, 코소싱, 공급기업 관리, 인적자원의 참여가 마케팅 성과 요소인 서비스 품질 향상, 고객만족, 종업원의 능력 향상에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 또한 아웃소싱 전략요인이 마케팅 성과에 미치는 영향은 아웃소싱 동기 및 인적자원의 아웃소싱 정도에 따라 어떠한 차이가 나는지에 대해서도 분석하였다. 아웃소싱 전략요인이 마케팅 성과에 미친 영향에 대한 가설을 검증한 결과, 코소싱은 서비스 품질 향상에, 인적자원의 참여는 서비스 품질 향상과 종업원의 능력 향상에, 공급기업 관리는 고객만족과 종업원의 능력 향상에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 아웃소싱 목표와 범위의 명확화는 마케팅 성과 변수에 영향을 미치지 않은 것으로 밝혀졌다.

Purpose: This study analyzes the characteristics of the Quality Management performed by SMEs in the Defense Industry in supply chains and analyzes the effect of the continuous improvement activities based on cooperation. Especially, for Military Supplies, the suitability of products is usually decided by judging their conformity to the specification, and from this structural characteristic, this study would analyze the structural relationship of systematic improvement activities with Supply Chain Quality Management(SCQM) and Business Performance(BP). Methods: Continuous improvement activities(CI) have significance as the driver force for the promotion of Quality Management. Thus, this study analyzed the causal relationships from the perspective of the process among CI, SCQM and BP. For an analysis of the structural characteristics and causal relationships among the constituents, AMOS was used, and 297 companies in the Defense Industry were utilized as samples. Results: It turned out that CI had significant impacts on Management Infra(MGT_Infra), Process Management(PM), Human Resources Management(HRM) and Communication(COMU) and had an indirect impact on the enterprises' financial performance through the parameters of HRM and Communication. Meanwhile, it turned out that between CI and non-financial performance, there was a direct effect, and there was also an indirect effect through the variables of the Management Infra and Communication. Conclusion: It turned out that CI had a positive effect on SCQM as a proactive driver and that they had significant relationships with BP(financial, Non-financial), both financial performance and non-financial performance. However, PM did not have a significant relationship of effect with BP because of the character appearing by the evaluation method of military supplies for the conformity to the specifications.

This study is to evaluate member fisheries cooperatives' self-effort for managerial improvement qualitatively and quantitatively. The impaired member cooperatives' got grant from National Federations of Fisheries Cooperatives for managerial improvement for 2003~2004 with establishment of MOU. This MOU describes a self-effort of memebr cooperatives' required fulfillment items for managerial improvement. From the various level of analyses, we conclude that per capita total return or ROA has direct and positive effect on the improvement of net capital ratio or profit ratio. However, other MOU items like human resource management or an investment increment did not have a correlation with it. In addition, an aggregate financial indicator, such as ROA, seems to have a positive effect on the improvement of net capital ratio or profit ratio for the group of well restructured member cooperatives, but does not for the bad performance group. This is because the good performance has leads to the improvement of net capital ratio for the well-restructured member cooperatives since there is little chance to have additional weakness. From this study we can check the proper selection of MOU items should be based on the analysis of its effect on the managerial improvement.

Purpose - This study aims to improve the distribution structure of the OLED market and develop cost-effective optimization techniques. Specifically, it is a study on the optimization of ferric chloride to improve the etch of SUS MASK for OLED. Research design, data, and methodology - Applying the optimal conditions of the experiment, the final confirmation was evaluated for improvement by the Process Capability Index (Cpk). It is possible to derive social performance such as improvement of precision of SUS MASK manufacturing, economic performance such as defect rate, reduction of waste generation and treatment cost, technological achievement such as SUS MASK production technology, improvement of profit structure of technology development and process improvement do. Results - The improvement of the Cpk before the improvement was made was confirmed to be 0.57% with a defect estimate of 25.07% with a failure estimate of 0.57% after the improvement, and 8.84% with a failure estimate of 0.57% level after the improvement. Conclusions - If the conclusions obtained from the specimen experiment are applied to the manufacturing process of SUS MASK, it will be possible to expect excellent cost-effective competitiveness due to the improvement of precision and reduction of defect rate to enhance the OLED market penetration.

For the improvement of a conventional railway speed, tilting train(Tilting Train express) is under the development aiming for a maximum speed 180km/h. Compared to the existing conventional rolling-stock, tilting train could take an advantage of speed improvement about $20{\sim}30%$ on curve sections due to the improvement of cowing performance. However, this speed increasement creates a severe load at wheels, thus it is necessary to study the safety of wheel for tilting train preferentially. On the other hand, it is under consideration that the wheel for conventional railway rolling-stock at speeds of 150km/h will be applied to tilting train at speeds of 180km/h. In this paper, we have studied the strength of wheel structure, the geometrical contact characteristics, and the dynamic performance of wheel to evaluate the safety of wheel for tilting train.

The customer-focused enterprise is interested in integrating every record of an interaction with a customer. This study is to investigate the structural relationship of data integration customer analysis capability, marketing & sales capability, customer service capability, and CRM performance. 205 survey data were collected from the company which implemented the CRM package. SEM analysis shows that data integration has influence on the CRM performance through the improvement of customer analysis capability, marketing 8t sales capability, and customer service capability. The revised model for further goodness-fitting model shows that data integration has influence on the improvement of customer analysis capability, marketing & sales capability, and customer service capability. but customer analysis capability has indirect influence on CRM performance through the improvement of marketing & sales capability, customer service capability.

In Korean, each digit is monosyllable and some pairs are known to have high confusability, causing performance degradation of connected digit recognition systems. To improve the performance, in this paper, we employ various discriminant analyses (DA) including Linear DA (LDA), Weighted Pairwise Scatter LDA WPS-LDA), Heteroscedastic Discriminant Analysis (HDA), and Maximum Likelihood Linear Transformation (MLLT). We also examine several combinations of various DA for additional performance improvement. Experimental results show that applying any DA mentioned above improves the string accuracy, but the amount of improvement of each DA method varies according to the model complexity or number of mixtures per state. Especially, more than 20% of string error reduction is achieved by applying MLLT after WPS-LDA, compared with the baseline system, when class level of DA is defined as a tied state and 1 mixture per state is used.
