아동 감염성 질환관리에 대한 보육교사의 역할인식, 지식, 실천 자신감 및 교육요구도 (Child Daycare Teachers' Role Perception, Knowledge, Self-confidence and Educational Needs Regarding Infectious Disease Management in Children)

  • 본 연구는 보육시설 아동의 감염성 질환관리에 대한 보육교사의 역할인식, 지식, 실천 자신감 및 교육요구도를 알아보고, 이들 변수간의 관련성을 파악하기 위한 상관관계연구이다. 연구 대상자는 보육교사 180명이었다. 연구대상자의 78.9%는 감염성 질환관리에 대한 교육 경험이 없었으며, 감염성 질환관리에 대한 지식 정답률은 52.3%, 실천 자신감은 낮았다. 그러나 감염성 질환관리에 대한 역할인식은 전반적으로 높았으며, 감염성 질환관리에 대한 교육요구도는 높았다. 감염예방을 위한 손씻기 및 위생관리법, 감염성 질환차단방법, 감염성 질환별 관리 및 간호법, 감염성 질환별 증상에 대한 교육요구도가 높았다. 대상자들의 역할인식은 그들의 지식과 교육요구도와 유의한 상관관계가 있었다. 보육교사 대상 감염성 질환 예방 및 관리를 위한 교육 프로그램의 개발, 적용 및 평가가 요구된다. 특히 보육교사들의 감염성 질환관리에 대한 역할인식을 향상시키기 위한 노력이 요구된다.

공공도서관 장애인 서비스에 관한 이해 관계자 요구 분석 연구 (A Study on Needs Analysis of Stakeholders in Public Library Service for Persons with Disabilities)

  • 이 연구는 공공도서관 장애인 서비스와 관련한 이해 관계자를 대상으로 요구 분석하여 개선 방안을 제언하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 공공도서관 장애인 서비스 현황 분석과 공공도서관 서비스 수혜자인 장애인과 서비스 제공자인 담당 직원을 대상으로 IPA 분석과 FGI를 진행하여 이해 관계자 요구 분석을 하였다. 그 결과 공공도서관 장애인 서비스 현황에서는 장애인 이용자, 장애인 서비스 관련 예산, 장애인용 특수자료 등에서 매우 열악한 수준으로 나타났다. 공공도서관의 장애인 서비스 요구 분석에서는 IPA 분석 결과 정책 차원의 개선과 이용자 요구를 반영하여 통합형 프로그램 운영이 필요한 것으로 나타났으며, FGI 분석 결과에서는 장애인과 비장애인 그리고 직원 등 상호 간의 장애인식 개선이 필요하며, 공공도서관의 서비스를 장애인 이용자도 보편적으로 이용할 수 있도록 이용안내와 홍보가 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 공공도서관 장애인 서비스 개선을 위한 기본방향을 다음과 같이 제안하였다. 첫째, 공공도서관 서비스 대상으로서 '장애인'을 핵심 이용자 계층으로 수용, 둘째, 장애 유형별 다각화한 맞춤형 서비스 개발, 셋째, 보편적 공공도서관 서비스에 기반한 장애인 서비스 디자인 적용의 필요성과 유니버설디자인을 적용한 방향으로의 전환이다.

단독주택지의 어린이공원 리모델링을 위한 아동 요구에 관한 조사연구 (A Survey on Children's Needs for Children's Park Remodeling at Detached Residential Area)

  • This survey is to find out children' needs of D children's park to remodel into a new one and their common opinions about the child playground, and to contribute these results to drive alternative plans. This park is very old and located in detached residential area, Wooa-dong, Deokjin-gu, Jeon-city. The survey was performed by a questionnaire, and the questionnaire was based on the relative literature reviews and was redesigned by researchers. Data were collected from 198 children, who had attended elementary school in Wooa-dong. By analyzing those data, findings were as follows: 1) Play experiences of D children's park were very important for children, so they remembered it. Above all, they remembered the perceptions of D children's park through playing on the playground facilities and the communication with their friends at that time. 2) Children would like to play creatively with facilities, but they need the traditional play facilities like a slide and a swing. So, it would be important for D children's park to plan well with the good facilities, and even it was mentioned in the literature reviews. The planning of park should be checked as an adventure playground, which can allow children to play creatively and with variety, however it should be still considered with some traditional playground facilities.

고령친화 홈네트워크 서비스개발을 위한 중장년층 소비자 선호에 관한 연구 (Preference of Consumers After Late 40's for Developing Future Home Network Services)

  • Development of digital technology has become closely connected with housing environment. Especially for the matured population, it is very important because they need substantial support in their daily lives. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to identify needs of digital network services for future housing development. Previous researches were limited to digital technology of network systems and its usages. On the other hand, this study focuses on not only the technology but services. This study consists of literatures review and empirical survey. The subjects were the mid-age and pre-elderly between 45 to 65. The analysis of this study results outlined as follows: First, the pre-elderly appeared to have, in general, positive perceptions about digital services of the housing environment. The results of needs for each space's, showed strongly in basic safety and aiding system for memories. Second, there are differences in needs according to respondent's characteristics such as sex, income, job, house type, experience in digital system. Third, there are differences between what they think and what they really responded in both spaces and services. It menas that present planning elements may not attractive and suitable to residents. Therefore it is necessary to redesign the services. In the future, the most important thing is, making comfortable space not convenient space. That is, excluding unnecessary elements and pick up the right ones for resident's real demands.

인공지능 스피커 사용 동기 형성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Motivation of Artificial Intelligence Speaker)

  • In this study, I researched whether consumers would adopt artificial intelligence speakers. A study was conducted on the motivations that arise when consumers want to use artificial intelligence speakers. Key motivational factors include needs and wants, and emotion is also included in the hypothesis as influencing the intended use. These factors have modeled the motivational process in which consumers want to use artificial intelligence speakers. In the empirical study, the survey was conducted and the survey data was analyzed by applying the method of analysis of the structural equation model. As a result of empirical research, consumers' expectations to meet their general needs for artificial intelligence speakers affected their expectations to meet their wants and their favorable perceptions. And consumers' expectations of meeting their quasi-desire for artificial intelligence speakers have affected their expectations of meeting the wants and affected their perception of favorability. Finally, consumers' expectations for satisfying their wants and their perception of favorability affected their intention to use artificial intelligence speakers. The implications of this study is that it helps to formulate strategies for information technology products with combined functionality. The specific components of motivation can play an important role in increasing consumers' intention to use artificial intelligence speakers.

예비교사의 디지털 시민성 요구도 및 디지털 시민성 교육에 관한 인식 분석 (Analysis of the pre-service teachers' needs for digital citizenship and perception of digital citizenship education)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 예비교사의 디지털 시민성에 대한 요구도 도출과 디지털 시민성 교육 현황에 관한 인식 분석을 통해 예비교사의 디지털 시민성교육 방안을 탐색하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 교육대학원에 재학하고 있는 예비교사를 대상으로 온라인조사가 이루어졌으며, 응답한 245명의 자료가 분석에 사용되었다. 요구도 분석은 대응표본 t검증, Borich 요구도와 The locus for focus model 등을 종합해 우선순위를 정하였으며, 인식 분석은 빈도분석을 시행하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 예비교사가 인식하는 디지털 시민성 요구도 분석을 종합해 보면, 최우선순위는 '자기보호'로 나타났다. 둘째, 디지털 시민성 교육 현황에 관한 예비교사의 인식을 분석한 결과 예비교사들은 디지털 시민성 교육의 필요성을 인지하며, 교육에 참여할 의향이 높았으며, 전문기관과 학교가 주관하여 비교과나 교직이론 수업에서 이루어지기를 바라고 있었다. 이를 바탕으로 예비교사의 디지털 시민성 강화를 위한 교육방안을 제시하였다.

Analysis of Spiritual Care Experiences of Acute-Care Hospital Nurses

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the experiences of acute care hospital nurses' on spiritual care with focus group interviews. Methods: Data were collected from 24 nurses recruited from one acute-care hospital in a southern province of Korea. Six focus groups were assembled considering age and religion. All interviews were recorded and transcribed. Data were analyzed using qualitative content analysis. Results: Five categories with 14 sub-categories emerged: 1) ambiguous concept: confusing terms, an additional job; 2) assessment of spiritual care needs: looking for spiritual care needs, not recognizing spiritual care needs; 3) spiritual care practices: active spiritual care, passive spiritual care ; 4) outcomes of spiritual care: comfort of the recipient, comfort of the provider; and 5) barriers to spiritual care: fear of criticism from others, lack of education, lack of time, space constraints, and absence of a recording system. Conclusion: Participants perceived spiritual care as an uncertain concept. Some participants recognized it as a form of nursing care, and others did not. They practiced spiritual care in acute-care settings according to their personal perceptions of spiritual care. Therefore, in order to perform spiritual nursing in acute-care hospitals, it is a priority for nurses to recognize the concept of spiritual nursing accurately. It is also necessary to prepare a hospital environment suitable for the provision of spiritual care.

Wearable Designs for Hair Designers with 3D Virtual Images and 3D Printed Models

  • Improving work efficiency and satisfying customers through personalized services is becoming more important in an increasingly competitive hair industry. Wearables may help to improve hair designers' work efficiency and customer satisfaction by analyzing customer and hair designers' conditions and provide hair stylingrelated data. However, there is limited research on developing wearables for hair designers (WHDs), and many existing wearables were developed without understanding user needs and perceptions. This research investigated preferences, perceptions, and intentions on WHDs based on hair designers in the U.S., which is the largest hair market. Specific design options that hair designers preferred and possible options to meet requirements that hair designers expect for wearables were identified and suggested in WHD design guidelines. Second, most people preferred a WHD design of a black-colored bracelet/watch that can be a necklace designed with preferred functions; in addition, 3D virtual images and 3D printed models were prototyped. Third, developed designs were evaluated. More than 70% of users were satisfied and considered it as useful and easy to use, with an intention to purchase. The results are expected to provide insights to designers when developing WHDs.

Employers' Perceptions of Intimate Partner Violence among a Diverse Workforce

  • Objectives: Intimate partner violence (IPV) is a significant global public health concern, affecting 5.3 million US individuals annually. An estimated 1 in 3 women globally are abused by an intimate partner in their lifetime, and the effects carry over into the workplace. This article examines employers' perceptions of IPV in the workplace, targeting supervisors of Latina employees. Methods: Fourteen employers and supervisors of small service-sector companies in Oregon were interviewed using semi-structured interviews. Interpretive description was used to identify themes. These qualitative interviews preceded and helped to formulate a larger workplace intervention study. Results: The following themes were found and are detailed: (1) factors associated with recognizing IPV in the workplace, (2) effects of IPV on the work environment and (3) supervisors' responses to IPV-active vs. passive involvement. Also, supervisors' suggestions for addressing IPV in the workplace are summarized. Conclusion: These findings demonstrate the need for more IPV-related resources in the workplace to be available to supervisors as well as survivors and their coworkers. The needs of supervisors and workplaces vary by site, demonstrating the need for tailored interventions, and culturally appropriate workplace interventions are needed for Latinas and other racially and ethnically diverse populations.

An Analysis of Consumers' Internal Perception of Soup and Sauce using ZMET

  • There is a growing global interest in food choices that could affect health. Consumer food choices are dictated by numerous factors such as attitudes, beliefs, desires and preferences stemming from psychological and physiological attributes. The present study aimed to understand consumers' internal perceptions about cream soup, cream sauce, and tomato sauce using ZMET (Zaltman's Metaphor Elicitation Technique). The 9 step ZMET interview process was conducted for a sample of 36 consumers (12 consumers for each sauce). A content analysis of the survey results was carried out. From this, 56 concepts of cream soup were derived, and 15 constructs that met with the agreement of more than one-third of the total sample consumers were extracted. These 15 constructs included 'Soft', 'Recollection', 'Familiar', 'Warm', 'Comfortable', etc. Similarly, for cream sauce, 67 concepts and 20 constructs 'Silky', 'Warm', 'Restaurant', 'Family', 'Memory', etc. were deduced. A total of 66 concepts and 20 constructs for tomato sauce 'Sourness', 'Sauce Bottle', 'Pleasant', 'Ingredient', 'Cooking', etc. were derived. The analysis of consumers' consensus maps through this study provides a deep and useful understanding of consumers and their latent needs. Also, the results of this study indicate that exploring consumers' internal perceptions is critical to understanding their healthy food choices. This can be used as basic data for formulating marketing strategies.
