Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate the difference of perception on direct-to-consumer advertisement (DTCA) of prescription drugs between healthcare providers and consumers. Methods: The online and offline survey was conducted from May 26th to June 5th, 2013. The questionnaire was composed of 15 items about perception on DTCA of prescription drugs. Results: A total of 215 healthcare providers and 202 consumers responded to the questionnaire. Consumers had an overall positive attitude on permitting DTCA of prescription drugs and carried favorable views about the influence of the DTCA of prescription drugs on providing drug information, promoting communications between healthcare providers and consumers, and improving images of healthcare providers. Healthcare providers displayed negative perception for the needs of permitting the DTCA of prescription drugs compared to consumers. They showed somewhat skeptical perception about the influence of the DTCA of prescription drugs on necessities and efficiencies of delivering drug information, promoting communications between healthcare providers and consumers, and improving images of healthcare providers. Both healthcare providers and consumers were concerned about the increase of drug prices following the increase in advertisement expenses of pharmaceutical products. Conclusion: This study identified the perception differences on direct-to-consumer advertisements of prescription drugs between healthcare providers and consumers. This study could be of much help in the process of review on permitting DTCA of prescription drugs in Korea.

Purpose: In this study, an attempt was made to identify the extent of dental technicians' perception of professionalism and examine to what extent the perception of professionalism impacts self-development and professionalism improvement activities. Methods: An online survey was conducted for 391 dental technicians for 20 days (i.e., from October 20 to November 10, 2020). Pearson's correlation analysis was performed to examine the correlation between the independent variable and the dependent variable, and multiple regression analysis was performed to analyze the degree of influence of independent variables on self-development and professionalism improvement activities. Results: As a result of examining the impact of dental technicians' perception of professionalism on self-development and professionalism improvement activities, it was revealed that all four subareas of the perception of professionalism, i.e., professional qualification, professional autonomy, social perception, and the sense of calling, were positively impacted. Conclusion: (1) It is necessary to compare and analyze the differences in the perception of professionalism among various dental technologist groups, prepare programs to improve them, and endeavor to ensure the growth of organizational operating system. (2) Self-development and professionalism improvement activities need to be supported so that dental technologists can immerse themselves in their duties with affections for the organization and contemplate and provide educational programs to workers.

The purpose of this study was to survey primary students' perception of the global and local environmental issues. The subjects were 853 fifth primary students in Seoul, Busan, Daejeon, Anyang, Gimpo and Cheongju. The results were as follows: First, the perception level of the global environmental issues were global warming (M=3.99), drinking-water pollution (M=3.92), acid rain (M=3.77), yellow dust (M=3.66), ozone depletion (M=3.57), deforestation in tropical areas (M=3.52), desertification (M=3.36), biodiversity (M=3.40) and their perception level of local environmental issues were waste disposal (M=3.87), air pollution (M=3.74), bad smell (M=3.70), noise (M=3.61), river pollution (M=3.57), soil pollution (M=3.44). Second, it was shown that the metropolitan students' perception levels of environmental issues were higher than the non-metropolitan students'. There wasn't a significant difference in the perception levels of two scale environmental issues and characteristics for sex (p>.05). Third, the result of analyzing on the effects between characteristics was that the factors like 'environmental interest' and 'impact on personal life' had a strong influence on the 'behavior will' to solve the global environmental issues, and 'environmental interest' and 'personal knowledge' had a strong influence on the 'behavior will' to solve the local environmental issues. Fourth, the result of analyzing on the characteristics according to the types of the environmental issues showed that 'personal knowledge', 'environmental interest' and 'behavior will' were high in the global environmental issues (p<.01) and 'virtual contamination', 'human responsibility' and 'impact on personal life' were high in the local environmental issues (p<.05).

The aimed of this research was to identify the influence of perception of the vocational ethics and education on job stress and job commitment in occupational therapists. 173 occupational therapists measure for perception of vocational ethics and education, job stress and job commitment, the findings of the study were as follows. First, perception of vocational ethics and education was correlated with job stress, job commitment(p<.01). Second, perception of vocational ethics and education sub-factor of education experience(p<.01), seriousness of ethical issues(p<.05) was found to have affected the job stress. Third, perception of vocational ethics and education sub-factor of education experience(p<.05) was found to have affected the job commitment. Through the results of this study, systematic education will be needed to recognize the importance of vocational ethics and improve it.

The purpose of this study was conducted to determine the influence of perceptions of the campus environment and health perception on stress of nursing students. Data were collected from three nursing colleges from December 01 to December 30, 2016, and data were collected by 223 students using the SPSS/WIN 21.0 program. Result of this study, the general characteristics of differences in stress were age, experience of clinical practice, gender, type of housing, personality and eating habits type, and experience in using the school health center. Stress showed negative correlation between perceptions of the campus environment and health perception. Factors influencing stress were eating habits, gender, perceptions of the campus environment and health perception, and their explanatory power on stress was 23.1%. Therefore, to reduce the stress of nursing college students, various programs should be developed and operated to improve the perceptions of the campus environment and increase the perception of health.

This study shows that, in a situation where the influence of the mobile Internet is increasing in all areas of modern society, SNS users' participation in sports has a significant impact on the development of the sports market and the public's exercise methods and sports awareness. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to determine the impact of awareness of sports values through SNS on participation in sports activities. In order to achieve this research purpose, the population of the study was adults who had experience participating in SNS sports communities. The sampling method used was convenience sampling, and a total of 300 people, 150 men and 150 women, were selected as research subjects through sharing the questionnaire link online and via email. The survey tool used was a questionnaire, and it was modified and supplemented for this study based on a questionnaire that had secured reliability and validity in previous studies. The statistical analysis used for data analysis was frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, and multiple regression analysis using SPSS Windows 20.0 Version. The conclusions obtained in this study through data analysis according to these methods and procedures are as follows. First, SNS sports community participants' perception of sports value was found to partially affect their perception of fun. Second, SNS sports community participants' perception of sports value was found to partially affect sports activities. Third, SNS sports community participants' perception of the fun of sports partially influenced sports activities.

The purpose of this study was to examine the characteristics of consumer evaluative criteria based on clothing quality perception of adult males and females. A demonstrative study was conducted using a questionnaire on adults over 20 years old who were considered to afford to purchase clothes. A total of 650 questionnaires were distributed, and among them, 380 were used for the demonstrative analysis. The study used SPSSWIN V.8.0 for the analysis. Factor analysis and reliability analysis were introduced as analysis methods using the varimax rotation to classify consumer evaluative criteria for clothing purchasing. In addition, frequency analysis, correlation analysis, 1-test, multiple regression analysis, and duncan test are executed. The study result is as follows. First. expectation, importance and performance are examined by customer quality perception. Four factors- practicability, care, aesthetics, and symbolism- are classified through the factor analysis of 19 evaluative attributes based on importance. Second, differences of quality perception f3r expectation, importance and performance were found partly in customers' demographic characteristics. Third, the influential relation of satisfaction and quality perception is examined. Aesthetics and practicability have significant influence on the general satisfaction of evaluative attributes by performance.

This study analyzed the influences of personal variables and perception of social support on the anxiety, depression and self-esteem of 102 children with cancer living in Seoul. Data were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, and hierarchical multiple regression. Results showed that personal variables that influenced depression, anxiety and self-esteem of children with cancer were sex, grade in school, monthly income of the family, and regularity of school attendance. Perception of social support influenced depression and self-esteem; subjects higher in perception of social support were lower in depression and higher in self-esteem.

Purpose : The purpose of this experiment is to find out the effectiveness which exert influence on cognitive skills by using the Driver Rehabilitation program for senior citizens who are over 65 years old and live in Busan. Method : From July first, 2014 to August 28th, 2014, we researched the 60 elderly people who are over 65 and go to community relief center which is in Busan. - 30 are experimental group and the other is control group. In the experimental group, we used Nintendo wii's driving simulation program and RC Car driving program in the model road. For estimation, we used MVPT-3(Motor-Free Visual Perception Test-3), Trail Making Test - 1, Trail making Test - 2 and LOTCA(Loewenstein Occupational Therapy Cognitive Assessment). Result : Nintendo wii's driving simulation program and RC Car driving program in model road results efficient visual perception ability. This programs results effectively in visual perception ability and space perception ability. This programs results effectively in motor apraxia ability. This programs results effectively in control ability for visual perception. This programs results effectively in thinking operation. Conclusion : Nintendo Wii's driving simulation program and RC Car driving program in model road positively influence improving for visual perceptual ability and cognitive function of elderly people. Also it is considered as being more efficient for improving visual perceptual ability and cognitive function to implement basic rehabilitation training with driving rehabilitation program than basic training itself.

As recent virtual reality technologies provide a more natural three-dimensional interactive environment, users naturally learn to explore space and interact with synthetic objects. The virtual reality researcher develops a technique that realizes realistic sensory feedback to get appropriate feedback to sense input behavior. Although much recent virtual reality research works extensively consider the human factor, it is not easy to adapt to all new virtual environment contents. Among many human factors, distance perception has been treated as very important in virtual environment interaction accuracy. We study the experiential virtual environment with the feature of the virtual object connected with the real object. We divide the three-dimensional interaction, in which distance perception and behavior have a significant influence, into two types (whole-body movement and direct manipulation) and analyze the real and virtual visual distance perception heterogeneity phenomenon. Also, we propose a statistical correction method that can reduce a near-body movement and manipulation error when changing the interaction location and report the experiment results proving its effectiveness.
