  • This paper proposes perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness mediate this relationship. The results can be summarized as follows. First, the greater the property management system's information quality, the greater the perceived ease of use. Second, the greater the perceived ease of use, tile greater the perceived usefulness. Third, the greater the perceived ease of use, the greater the using intention of system. Forth, the greater the perceived usefulness, the greater the using intention of system. Finally, the greater the using intention of system, the greater the usage of system.

  • The total market capacities of our domestic on-line shopping malls had reached over one billion wons in 2005. They are also estimated to reach 1.8 billion wons in 2008. In order to reveal some relationships between six antecedent variables and intention-to-use of online shooing malls, this study has extended the original TAM2 model using these variables obtained from (1) perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use from TAM2 model, (2) compatibility from IDT theory, (3) perceived enjoyment from Flow theory, and (4) others (perceived risk and self efficacy). Two statistical packages such as SPSS 12.0 and Lirel 8.70 were used for data analyses. Among these seven proposed hypotheses, six hypotheses were accepted while one hypothesis regarding perceived risk was rejected. As perceived risk hypothesis concerning the intention-to-use was rejected, the perceived risk did not show the support of the intention-to-use.

  • This paper presents and tests a conceptual model of Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) that explains perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, organizational commitment and turnover intention in terms of psychological commitments in mandatory environments. The model focuses on the psychological commitments (Kelman's internalization, Identification, compliance) as the primary predictors of perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use and organizational commitment. We discuss our current understanding of technology acceptance as well as the notion of mandated use. The results are as fellows that organizational commitment is negatively related to turnover intention : perceived usefulness is positively related to organizational commitment : psychological commitments are positively related to organizational commitment, perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use : perceived ease of use is positively related to perceived usefulness in mandatory environments. Through this research, psychological commitments are the strong determinants of technology acceptance in mandatory environments. These findings advance theory and contribution to the foundation for future research aimed at Improving our understanding of user adoption behavior in mandatory environments.

  • This paper presents and tests a conceptual model of Technology Acceptance Model(TAM) that explains perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, organizational commitment and turnover intention in terms of psychological commitment in mandatory environments. The results and implications of the research are as follows. First, organizational commitment negatively influence turnover intention in mandatory environment. Second, perceived usefulness positively influence organizational commitment in mandatory environments. Third, psychological commitment positively influence organizational commitment, perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use in mandatory environments. Fourth, perceived ease of use positively influence perceived usefulness in mandatory environments. Through this research, psychological commitment is a strong determinant of technology acceptance in mandatory environments. These findings advance theory and contribution to the foundation for future research aimed at improving our understanding of user adoption behavior in mandatory environments.

A Study of Comparison between Internet Banking and Mobile Banking by Extending the TAM (기술수용모형을 이용한 인터넷 뱅킹과 모바일 뱅킹 이용의 차이에 관한 연구)

  • Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) considers perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness as the important determinants of user behavior regarding information technology. As an extension of TAM, this research examines perceived security as an additional determining variable to explain an individual's acceptance and use of mobile banking as well as internet banking. The results show that perceived ease of use does not affect the individual's attitude toward the use of mobile or internet banking, while perceived usefulness does. Furthermore, perceived security affects perceived usefulness in mobile banking, but not in internet banking. In addition, in mobile banking, perceived security is positively related to perceived usefulness, though perceived security is negatively related to attitude. Finally, the average scores of surveyed data for Internet banking are higher and significantly different than those for mobile banking.

  • Purpose Fintech has been recently drawing extensive attention all over the world as the innovative trend that will change the future of the global financial industry. However, fintech has been mostly focusing on the payment service in the embryonic stage in Korea. This paper will investigate the approach to increase the intention to use for those who do not use fintech at present. Design/methodology/approach This paper empirically analyzes the impact of innovation of users and the perceived ease-of-use and security on the intention to use through the perceived usefulness and confidence. The 255 survey responses were used to verify research hypotheses through covariate structural equation model. Findings According to the analysis results, it was found that innovation had a significant impact on the perceived usefulness, but had no significant impact on confidence. The perceived usefulness had a significant impact on perceived usefulness and confidence. Moreover, the perceived usefulness and confidence had a significant impact on the intention to use. Meanwhile, it was identified that the security perceived by those who do not use fintech had a negative impact on perceived usefulness, confidence, and intention to use related to fintech. Accordingly, fintech service providers need to determine an approach to help customers to have a positive perception on the security of fintech.

  • Airlines have been introducing self check-in kiosks to reduce check-in time and improve operational efficacy to increase business revenue. The domestic airlines have actively provided kiosks at airports which are expected to reduce their operating costs and enrich their passengers' travel convenience. Based on the above background, the study investigates the factors influencing intention to use the self check-in kiosks by employing the Extended Technology Acceptance Model (ETAM). The study, therefore, designed a research model by reviewing theories and studies on the relationship among information quality, innovativeness, perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and intention to use the kiosks. The structural equation model revealed the following. Information quality and innovativeness had a significantly positive influence on perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness; furthermore, perceived ease of use had a significantly positive influence on perceived usefulness. In addition, both perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness had a significantly positive influence on intention to use. The results indicate that the airlines should constantly develop user-friendly contents and design of the self check-in kiosks.

QRIS as a Drivers of Product Distribution Flows in Indonesia: Factors of Consumer Purchasing Behavior in the Use of Fintech Payments

  • Purpose: Consumers can experience better service for distribution of products with payment technology such as QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) compared to conventional purchase methods. This research aims to determine the experience of QRIS service users in Indonesia. Perceived Usefulness, Ease of Use, and Perceived Security were independent factors. Behavioral Intention to Use is the dependent variable. Furthermore, Word of Mouth Attitude is an intervening variable. Research Design, Data, and Methodology: Involving active QRIS users in a survey-based quantitative study in Indonesia. A survey sample of 400 people was taken from data records of 30.87 million QRIS users in Indonesia. Data were analyzed using SEM-PLS. Results: Show that Perceived Usefulness and Perceived Ease of Use significantly impact Attitudes Word of Mouth, and Behavioral Intention to Use. This research also found that Behavioral Intention to Use does not significantly impact Perceived Security. Conclusion: QRIS, as a revolutionary innovation, offers faster payments than previous methods, with a payment time of no more than one minute. QRIS is seen as valuable, simple, and safe, disseminating information to the public and continuing to use QRIS. The implications of this research are very significant in accelerating the flow of distribution of goods and services and facilitating transactions.

A Study of the Effects of Perceived Characteristics on Satisfaction and Continuous Usage Intention in Personal Communities (개인 커뮤니티의 지각된 특성이 만족 및 지속적 사용의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • The primary purpose of this study is to examine the effects of perceived characteristics on user satisfaction and continuous usage intention in personal communities. We developed a research model based on the literature reviews of personal communities, TAM, perceived risks, and satisfaction. The research model includes perceived playfulness, perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and perceived risk as perceived characteristics in personal communities. For validation of this theoretical model, we survey the users of 'Mini-hompy', one of the most popular personal communities in Korea. The research model was empirically verified by structural equation model analysis with data collected from 407 samples. Analysis of the results indicates that perceived ease of use is positively related perceived playfulness and perceived usefulness. Perceived playfulness, perceived ease of use, and perceived risks are significantly related to satisfaction. User's satisfaction has positive relationship with continuous usage intention in personal communities.

  • This study is designed to test the effects of innovativeness, information dependency, informative sufficiency, and review reliability on perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and eventually continuous use in mobile bakery applications and to provide useful information for the bakery industry. A total of 500 questionnaires were distributed for data collection from September $1^{st}$ to $30^{th}$ in 2014. Out of 455 returned questionnaires, 441 were useable. Statistical techniques utilized in the study were a factor analysis, reliability tests, and a covariance structure analysis using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0. The results were as follows: first, innovativeness had significant effects on perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. Second, information dependency had significant effects on perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. Third, informative sufficiency had significant effects on perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. Fourth, review reliability had significant effects on perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. Fifth, perceived ease of use had a significant effect on perceived usefulness. Finally, perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use had significant effects on the continuous use of a mobile bakery application.
