모 브랜드-일치성이 확장브랜드에 대한 태도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of The Parent Brand-Congruity on the Attitude to Expanded Brand)

  • Purpose - This study presents the relationships between parent brand-self image congruence, parent brand -functional congruity, perceived fit between parent brand and extension product, and consumer's attitude toward extension product using the structural equation model. As for preceding concepts having a direct effect on consumer's attitude toward brand extension, the study focuses on parent brand-self image congruence and parent brand-functional congruity. It also looks at the effect of parent brand-self image congruence and parent brand-functional congruity on the consumer's attitude toward extension product and identifies if the perceived fit between parent brand and extension product is a concept playing a mediating role between parent brand-self image congruence or parent brand-functional congruity and consumer's attitude toward brand extension product. Research design, data, and Methodology - SPSS for Windows 18.0 and AMOS 18.0 were used for data analysis. Then, the Cronbach's α coefficient was obtained using SPSS for Windows 18.0 to measure reliability. In addition, the convergence and discriminative measures of the measured items were statistically verified using AMOS 18.0. Finally, we have validated a path model and a parameter model in which brand personality-self-matched attitude toward brand extension. Results - Studies have shown that the impact of parent brand-self image consistency and parent brand-functional consistency on the attitude of extended products was positive. Perceived fit between parent brand and extension products has been shown to play a role of intermediary between parent brand-self image congruence and consumer attitudes to extended products. However, perceived fit between parent brand and extension products did not play a role as intermediary between the parent brand-functional congruity and the attitude toward the extended product. Finally, in relation to the causal relationship between parent brand-congruity (self image/functionality) and attitudes to extended products. The effect of parent brand-functional coherency on attitudes toward extended products was found to be greater in groups with higher involvement than in those with lower involvement. Conclusions - Although few studies have been done on what variables mediated when parent brand-self image consistency and parent brand-functional coherency affect consumer attitude, this paper is significant in finding whether perceived fitness between the parent brand-congruity and the extension product is mediated.

품패자산조성부분간적상호관계(品牌资产组成部分间的相互关系): 관우산품충류조절작용적탐색연구(关于产品种类调节作用的探索研究) (Relationships among Brand Equity Components: An Exploratory Study of the Moderating Role of Product Type)

  • 对于品牌资产的组成, 测量和管理的研究开始于David A.Aaker (1991) 和Kevin Lane Keller(1993). 最近, 很多的研究都集中于品牌资产的组成: 品牌意识, 质量预期, 产品形象和品牌忠诚度. 本文主要针对于这些成分间相互关系, 而且特别主意产品种类(实用或者享受)的调节作用. 基于以上所提及的关系所建立的模型可以参看图1. 本文的假设如下: 顾客的品牌意识对于顾客的忠诚度和品牌形象有积极的影响; 顾客的质量预期对于品牌忠诚度和品牌形象有积极的影响; 品牌形象对于品牌忠诚度有积极影响; 这些品牌资产成分间的关系可以被产品种类所调节. 具体说明就是, 对于实用性产品, 质量预期对于品牌忠诚度的作用会增强, 而对于享受产品品牌形象对于品牌忠诚度的作用会更强. 为了确定适用于本研究的产品, 58名首尔的大学生参加了前测. 结果是计算机被选择成为实用性产品, 而牛仔裤被选定成为享受产品. 每一种产品各选择了两个品牌: 三星和惠普以及李维斯和NIX. 在研究中, 首尔地区的237名大学生回答了问卷. 研究对象被划分为两组: 一组(121名)回答关于计算机的问卷, 其他的116名回答关于牛仔裤的问卷. 搜集的数据通过AMOS 7来验证可信度, 效度以及变量间的相互关系. 验证性因子分析证明本研究的模型是可以用来进一步研究的. 品牌资产成分间的相互关系也通过AMOS 7 来验证. 结果模型的结果展现在图2中. 质量预期对于品牌的形象有积极的影响, 但是品牌意识却没有. 但是品牌意识, 质量预期, 以及品牌形象都对品牌忠诚度有积极的影响. 并且, 这些关系受到产品种类的调节. 本文的研究结果可以增进我们对于品牌资产成分间相互关系的了解, 并且可以支撑对于品牌资产的测量. 本文也对于产品种类的作用进行了阐述. 在现实的营销管理中, 这些结果可以提供一些建议来有效保持品牌资产.

온라인 소비자 구매행동에서 제품관여도의 조절효과에 관한 연구 (The Moderating Effect of Product Involvement on the Online Consumer's Purchasing Behavior)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of four influencing variables (brand diversity. product information, entertainment, and trust) on purchase Intention and to .examine whether this relationship varies according to the buyer's perceived level of Product involvement. Analysis of 264 responses using the hierarchical regression indicated that all four independent variables were found positively influencing purchase intention. Furthermore, the effects of brand diversity, product information, and trust on purchase intention were revealed to be moderated by perceived product involvement. However, the moderating effect of product involvement on the relationship between entertainment and purchase intention was not statistically significant. Discussions for research findings and managerial implications are discussed.

E-tail Uses and Gratifications to Understand Apparel Consumers

  • The purpose of the study is to examine the role of consumer perceptions of websites' entertainment and informativeness in developing their attitudes (attitude toward the retailer and attitude confidence toward the product) in the context of apparel e-tailing. A structural equation model was developed for an empirical test based on the literature on uses-and-gratifications and attitude confidence. A sample of 119 consumers who live in the United States participated in the online survey. The results generally supported the proposed model. Specifically, the analyses revealed that consumers' purchase intention toward the displayed product is positively influenced by their attitudes toward the retailer and by their confidence in their attitudes toward the product. Interestingly, only one of the two cognitive antecedents, perceived entertainment, has a positive impact on consumers' attitude toward the retailer. Perceived informativeness, however, had a positive impact on attitude confidence. These findings suggest that consumers who have high perception of an e-tail website's entertainment are more likely to exhibit favorable attitudes toward the e-tailer, while consumers who have high perception of an e-tail website's informativeness are more likely to hold strong confidence in their attitudes toward the product displayed on the website. Both consumer attitudes toward the e-tailer and their attitude confidence lead to their purchase intentions.

Impact of Service Quality and Perceived Value on Customer Satisfaction and Behavioral Intentions: Evidence from Convenience Stores in Vietnam

  • This research investigates the relationship among product quality, service quality, perceived value, customer satisfaction, and behavior intentions. Validated measurements were identified from a literature review. The measurement model and the conceptual model depicting hypothesized relationships were evaluated based on responses from 220 customers using confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling. The testing results show that, for the direct path, product quality has a significant, positive influence on customer satisfaction, and behavioral intentions. Also, perceived value directly influences customer satisfaction and behavioral intentions and satisfaction is an antecedent of behavioral intentions. For the indirect path, service quality has a significant, positive influence on behavioral intentions through the customer satisfaction. The major finding of this study suggest that service quality easily attract more customers, especially the young consumers. About the sale personnel, communication skills, knowledge and ways of treatment to customers are crucial to retailers to gain competitive advantage over competitors. Therefore, it should have clear and consistent processes, procedures with criteria that create the best condition for organization and individual to open this kind of retailing store. Furthermore, product quality improvement is essential; all products must have clear originality; and diversifying products and services is also the way to appeal more consumers.

묶음제품 가격 할인 제시 프레이밍 효과: 지각된 소비 혜택과 품질 불확실성의 영향을 중심으로 (Discount Presentation Framing & Bundle Evaluation: The Effects of Consumption Benefit and Perceived Uncertainty of Quality)

  • 묶음제품의 매력도를 증가시키기 위해 소비자들이 번들 오퍼에서의 가격 제시 프레이밍(framing)에 민감하다는 것을 이해할 필요가 있다. 동일 가격을 할인하더라도 묶음제품 요소 중 어느 요소에 가격할인을 표시하느냐에 따라 소비자의 묶음제품에 대한 지각된 매력도를 바꿀 수 있기 때문이다. 선행연구는 더 중요한 제품 요소에 할인이 할당될 때 효용이 증가한다는 주장과 덜 중요한 제품 요소에 할인을 위치시키는 것이 선호를 증가시킨다는 주장을 동시에 보이고 있다. 본 연구는 선행연구를 보완하여 묶음제품 가격 할인 제시 프레이밍효과에 대한 새로운 기제를 제시한다. 그리고 선행연구에서 믹스드(mixed)된 결론을 보이는 이유를 분석하여 밝힌다. 본 연구는 현실적인 번들링 전략 사용 상황을 고려하였으며, 좀 더 리얼한 번들링 세팅을 이용하여 가격 할인 제시 프레이밍 효과를 조사하고, 순수번들 및 혼합번들을 포함한 다양한 묶음제품을 이용하여 품질 불확실성 지각에 따른 조절효과를 분석하였다. 본 연구 결과, 소비자들은 높은 소비 혜택(high consumption benefit)보다 낮은 소비 혜택(low consumption benefit) 요소에 가격 할인을 위치시키는 것을 더 선호하였다. 가격민감성(price sensitivity)이 주요혜택에서는 낮고, 낮은 혜택에서는 높기 때문에 동일 가격이 할인될 때 낮은 혜택을 할인한 매장 제품에 대한 평가가 더 높게 나타났다. 또한 구매 시점에서 품질의 불확실성(perceived uncertainty of product quality)이 높을수록 가격민감성이 혜택 지각에 가지는 효과가 더 커지고 있었다. 본 연구의 공헌은 소비 혜택 지각 및 가격민감성 기제와 지각된 품질 불확실성의 조절효과를 통해 선행연구를 통합하고, 가격 제시 형태의 프레이밍 효과를 명확하게 설명하였다는 점이다.

360 제품 사진의 특성과 내적혁신성이 지속이용의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on The Effect of 360 Product Photography Characteristics and Internal Innovation on Intention to Continuous Use)

  • 360 제품 사진은 실사를 기반으로 하는 VR 제작 방식의 하나로 피사체를 다각도에서 관찰할 수 있는 실감 미디어 기술 중 하나이다. 본 연구는 기술수용모델을 통하여 360 제품 사진의 특성과 내적혁신성이 지속이용의도에 미치는 효과를 살펴보았다. 온라인 설문조사 결과, 360 제품 사진의 특성인 정보성은 지각된 용이성과 지각된 유용성에 모두 영향을 미치고 있는 반면, 신뢰성과 오락성은 지각된 유용성에만 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 내적혁신성은 지각된 용이성에 영향을 미치고 있었지만 지각된 유용성에는 영향을 미치지 않았다. 매개변인인 지각된 용이성과 지각된 유용성은 모두 지속이용의도에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 아직까지 미흡한 360 제품 사진 관련 분야에 다양한 연구를 위한 참고자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다. 더불어, 360 제품 사진의 실무 제작에 전략적인 시사점을 제공할 수 있다.

Influence of time pressure on the purchase decision making process in apparel shopping

  • Studies show that time pressure affects the purchase decision-making process of consumers. However, in the case of apparel shopping, few studies have looked into the influence of time pressure on the purchase decision-making process. This study aims to determine how perceived time pressure in apparel shopping, time pressure situations, and product type and the interactions between these variables influence the clothing purchase process. An empirical study was conducted among males and females in their 20s and 30s. Perceived time pressure in apparel shopping was measured using four items. Time pressure situations and product types were given in the form of scenarios. A $2{\times}2{\times}2$ experimental design was used, and perceived time pressure in apparel shopping, time pressure situations, and product type were used to create eight different situations. The dependent variables included decision-making speed, anticipated regret, and anticipated purchase satisfaction. Data from 512 subjects were collected through an online data collection. Results showed that the high perceived time pressure group and the shopping situation with time pressure involved a significantly high level of decision-making time, anticipated regret, and anticipated purchase satisfaction. Marketers must understand the real-time pressure situations of consumers.

A Study on the Impact of Perceived Value of Art Based on Artificial Intelligence on Consumers' Purchase Intention

  • 본 연구의 목적은 인공지능예술작품 구매할 때 소비자들이 어떤 감지가 있는지, 그리고 구매의 향과 어떤 관계가 있는지 살펴보는데 있다. 본 연구에서 고객감지가치가 제품감지가치, 서비스감지가치 그리고 사회감지가치 총 3가지를 제시하였다. 이를 바탕으로 고객감지가치와 구매의향 간의 모델을 구축하였다. 연구를 위해 데이터 수집은 온라인 설문 조사를 실시하였다. SPSS24.0와 AMOS24.0을 통해 수집한 데이터의 신뢰성, 타당성 및 구조 방정식 분석을 통해 가설 검증을 하였다. 검정결과를 보면 제품인지가치와 서비스인지가치는 소비자의 온라인 구매의향에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다. 그러나 사회인지가치가 소비자의 구매의향에 영향을 주지 않는 결과가 나타났다.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the types of perceived risk of Internet shopping and the impact of perceived risk on purchasing behavioral intention of Internet shopping mall shoppers. A self-administrated questionnaire was e-mailed to INR research (www.inr.co.kr) panel who had purchasing experience of fashion product through Internet shopping mall. The perceived risk was reduced when the innovativeness increased and purchasing experience in Internet shopping mall increased. The financial risk had an effect on purchasing intention, and social/psychological risk had impact on revisiting intention and word-of-mouth intention negatively. The performance risk perception had significantly negative influence on word-of-mouth intention. Internet using time per week, purchasing experience and Internet innovativeness were positive impact on purchasing behavioral intention of Internet fashion product.
