As information and information technology become more important in competitive corporate environments, the risk of information security breaches has increased accordingly. Although organizations establish security measures to manage information security risks, members of organizations do not comply with them well, and their information security behavior intention is unclear. Therefore, to understand the information security risk management intention of the members of organizations, the present study developed a research model using Protection Motivation Theory, Supervisory Authority Pressure, and Background factors. This study presents empirical research findings based on the analysis of survey data from 201 members of financial institutions. Perceived Severity, Self-efficacy, and Supervisory Authority Pressure had a positive effect on intention; however, Perceived Vulnerability and Response Efficacy did not affect intention. Security Avoidance Habit, which was considered a background factor, had a negative effect on all parameters, and did not have an effect on intention. Security Awareness Training, another background factor, had a positive effect on information security risk management intention and perceived vulnerability, self-efficacy, response efficacy, and supervisory authority pressure, and had no effect on perceived severity. This study used supervisory authority pressure and background factors in the field of information security, and provided a basis to use supervisory authority pressure in future studies on behavior of organizations and members of an organization. In addition, the use of various background factors presented the groundwork for the expansion of protection motivation theory. Furthermore, practitioners can use the study findings as a foundation for organization's security activities, and to improve regulations.

The decision to integrate mobile cloud computing (MCC) in higher education without first defining suitable usage scenarios is a global issue as the usage of such services becomes extensive. Consequently, this study investigates the security determinants of the educational use of mobile cloud computing among universities' students. This study proposes and develops a theoretical model by adopting and modifying the Protection Motivation Theory (PMT). The study's findings show that a significant amount of variance in MCC adoption was explained by the proposed model. MCC adoption intention was shown to be highly influenced by threat appraisal and coping appraisal factors. Perceived severity alone explains 37.8% of students "Intention" to adopt MCC applications, which indicates the student's perception of the degree of harm that would happen can hinder them from using MCC. It encompasses concerns about data security, privacy breaches, and academic integrity issues. Response cost, perceived vulnerability and response efficacy also have significant influence on students "intention" by 18.8%, 17.7%, and 6.7%, respectively.

Purpose- This study examines the multi-mediation effect of personal self-congruity and social self-congruity to perceived value and brand attitude on aircraft customers in China. Research design, data and methodology- Survey was conducted on Chinese citizens who had flown via Chinese airlines and lived mainly in the Yangtze River delta. 727 cases were analyzed. SPSS 22.0 and AMOS 24.0 were used to analyze the data. Results - First, perceived economic value has a positive impact on personal self-congruity and social self-congruity but has no effect on brand attitude. Second, perceived functional value has a positive impact on personal self-congruity, social self-congruity, and brand attitude. Third, based on this, perceived economic value is not directly related to brand attitude. However, there is a relationship between perceived functional value and brand attitude, with personal self-congruity and social self-congruity having mediation effects. Conclusions - The Results show that perceived economic and functional value such as competitive airfare, mileage membership, check-in processes, diversified vouchers and coupons, and also basic services such as flight security and flight attendant service having an effect on personal self-congruity. To improve consumer brand attitude, airlines should take into consideration personal self-congruity factors such as their values and lifestyles, and their social self-congruity factors such as their social status and social security.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship of peer relationships, self-reported attachment security, perceived parental rearing attitudes, and loneliness in upper elementary school-age children. Methods: The data were collected from 207 students in grades 5 or 6, and descriptive statistics, t-test, Pearson correlation coefficients and Stepwise multiple regression were used with the SPSS/PC 12.0 program to analyze the data. Results: There was a significant difference in loneliness between the upper 25% and lower 25% groups of peer relationships, perceived parental rearing attitudes, and self-reported attachment security. Stepwise multiple regression analysis showed affection-hostility in parental rearing attitudes, validation and conflict in peer relationships, and attachment security explained 39.6% of the total variance in loneliness. Conclusion: These results may contribute to a better understanding of loneliness in upper elementary school-age children. The results of the present study indicate a need to develop nursing interventions to prevent and manage children‘s loneliness.

Privacy of financial customers is becoming important due to frequent leakage of personal information. Financial customers, who experience the leakage of personal information, feel threatened by their privacy and this changes customer's awareness about financial institutions or behavioral intentions. By examining the influence relation of personal information security vulnerability of the bank information system with usefulness, trust and attractiveness perceived by bank customers, this study aims to analyze the effect of each variable on bank customers' willingness to stay.

The main purpose of this study is to analyze the adoption and use of mobile banking by university students and its potential determining factors. This study comprises 259 completed questionnaires answered through an online survey method. The respondents are Mongolian university students who have experience in using mobile banking applications. Young adults rely heavily on technology and are more likely to adopt mobile banking applications; however, there is limited research on the acceptance and use of mobile banking applications among this cohort, particularly from the perspective of Central Asian developing economies. Through using the SmartPLS 3.3 software, confirmatory factor analysis was conducted to evaluate the construct and structural equation modeling. The main results indicate that performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions are the main constructs related to mobile banking technology acceptance; perceived security positively impacts perceived trust. Moreover, perceived trust is the construct of the use of mobile banking technology by the university students who responded to the questionnaire. However, the relationship between perceived risk and use behavior was not accepted.
This study investigates to investigate the factors that influence user resistance of mobile payment services. We suggested individual and technical characteristics of mobile payment services as factors influencing perceived risk and user resistance. In addition, we suggested negative security recognition as moderating variable. To test the proposed hypotheses, we collected 349 survey responses from the users of mobile payment services and conducted structural equation modeling with SmartPLS2.0. The results show that, first, negative social influence, risk aversion and distrust in existing services had an effect on the perceived risk. Second, the pace of change and vulnerability had an effect on the perceived risk. Third, perceived risk affected the user resistance while negative security recognition is related to the relationship between perceived risk and user resistance.
Intentional information systems (IS) misuse is a serious problem in many organizations. This study aims at developing the theoretical framework of deterring IS misuse on the basis of Nagin's General Deterrence Theory (GDT) which is very famous in the area of socio-criminology. Applying GDT to the IS misuse situation could be reasoned that the perceived certainty and the perceived severity of sanctions associated with committing IS misuse have positive impact on deterring the deviant behaviors. Also, these two constructs (certainty of sanctions and severity of sanctions) could be inferred to be influenced by the four types of IS security countermeasures (security policies, security awareness program, monitoring practices and preventive security software) derived through critically reviewing IS security-relevant literature. The proposed research model and ten hypotheses were empirically analysed using structural equation modelling with the data collected by conducting a questionnaire survey of staff members in business organizations in Korea. As a result, it was found that five ones of ten hypotheses were supported. It is thought that this study makes theoretical contribution to expanding research area of IS security and also has strong implications for IS security management practices within organizations.
Rapid progress of information technology and widespread use of the personal computers have brought various conveniences in our life. But this also provoked a series of problems such as hacking, malicious programs, illegal exposure of personal information etc. Information security threats are becoming more and more serious due to enhanced connectivity of information systems. Nevertheless, users are not much aware of the severity of the problems. Using appropriate password is supposed to bring out security effects such as preventing misuses and banning illegal users. The purpose of this research is to empirically analyze a research model which includes a series of factors influencing the effectiveness of passwords. The research model incorporates the concept of risk based on information systems risk analysis framework as the core element affecting the selection of passwords by users. The perceived risk is a main factor that influences user's attitude on password security, security awareness, and intention of security behavior. To validate the research model this study relied on questionnaire survey targeted on evening class MBA students. The data was analyzed by AMOS 7.0 which is one of popular tools based on covariance-based structural equation modeling. According to the results of this study, while threat is not related to the risk, information assets and vulnerability are related to the user's awareness of risk. The relationships between the risk, users security awareness, password selection and security effectiveness are all significant. Password exposure may lead to intrusion by hackers, data exposure and destruction. The insignificant relationship between security threat and perceived risk can be explained by user's indetermination of risk exposed due to weak passwords. In other words, information systems users do not consider password exposure as a severe security threat as well as indirect loss caused by inappropriate password. Another plausible explanation is that severity of threat perceived by users may be influenced by individual difference of risk propensity. This study confirms that security vulnerability is positively related to security risk which in turn increases risk of information loss. As the security risk increases so does user's security awareness. Security policies also have positive impact on security awareness. Higher security awareness leads to selection of safer passwords. If users are aware of responsibility of security problems and how to respond to password exposure and to solve security problems of computers, users choose better passwords. All these antecedents influence the effectiveness of passwords. Several implications can be derived from this study. First, this study empirically investigated the effect of user's security awareness on security effectiveness from a point of view based on good password selection practice. Second, information security risk analysis framework is used as a core element of the research model in this study. Risk analysis framework has been used very widely in practice, but very few studies incorporated the framework in the research model and empirically investigated. Third, the research model proposed in this study also focuses on impact of security awareness of information systems users on effectiveness of password from cognitive aspect of information systems users.
