인지된 위험의 유형이 소비자 신뢰 및 온라인 구매의도에 미치는 영향 (The Impact of Perceived Risks Upon Consumer Trust and Purchase Intentions)

  • Internet-based commerce has undergone an explosive growth over the past decade as consumers today find it more economical as well as more convenient to shop online. Nevertheless, the shift in the common mode of shopping from offline to online commerce has caused consumers to have worries over such issues as private information leakage, online fraud, discrepancy in product quality and grade, unsuccessful delivery, and so forth, Numerous studies have been undertaken to examine the role of perceived risk as a chief barrier to online purchases and to understand the theoretical relationships among perceived risk, trust and purchase intentions, However, most studies focus on empirically investigating the effects of trust on perceived risk, with little attention devoted to the effects of perceived risk on trust, While the influence trust has on perceived risk is worth studying, the influence in the opposite direction is equally important, enabling insights into the potential of perceived risk as a prohibitor of trust, According to Pavlou (2003), the primary source of the perceived risk is either the technological uncertainty of the Internet environment or the behavioral uncertainty of the transaction partner. Due to such types of uncertainty, an increase in the worries over the perceived risk may negatively affect trust, For example, if a consumer who sends sensitive transaction data over Internet is concerned that his or her private information may leak out because of the lack of security, trust may decrease (Olivero and Lunt, 2004), By the same token, if the consumer feels that the online merchant has the potential to profit by behaving in an opportunistic manner taking advantage of the remote, impersonal nature of online commerce, then it is unlikely that the merchant will be trusted, That is, the more the probable danger is likely to occur, the less trust and the greater need to control the transaction (Olivero and Lunt, 2004), In summary, a review of the related studies indicates that while some researchers looked at the influence of overall perceived risk on trust level, not much attention has been given to the effects of different types of perceived risk, In this context the present research aims at addressing the need to study how trust is affected by different types of perceived risk, We classified perceived risk into six different types based on the literature, and empirically analyzed the impact of each type of perceived risk upon consumer trust in an online merchant and further its impact upon purchase intentions. To meet our research objectives, we developed a conceptual model depicting the nomological structure of the relationships among our research variables, and also formulated a total of seven hypotheses. The model and hypotheses were tested using an empirical analysis based on a questionnaire survey of 206 college students. The reliability was evaluated via Cronbach's alphas, the minimum of which was found to be 0.73, and therefore the questionnaire items are all deemed reliable. In addition, the results of confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) designed to check the validity of the measurement model indicate that the convergent, discriminate, and nomological validities of the model are all acceptable. The structural equation modeling analysis to test the hypotheses yielded the following results. Of the first six hypotheses (H1-1 through H1-6) designed to examine the relationships between each risk type and trust, three hypotheses including H1-1 (performance risk ${\rightarrow}$ trust), H1-2 (psychological risk ${\rightarrow}$ trust) and H1-5 (online payment risk ${\rightarrow}$ trust) were supported with path coefficients of -0.30, -0.27 and -0.16 respectively. Finally, H2 (trust ${\rightarrow}$ purchase intentions) was supported with relatively high path coefficients of 0.73. Results of the empirical study offer the following findings and implications. First. it was found that it was performance risk, psychological risk and online payment risk that have a statistically significant influence upon consumer trust in an online merchant. It implies that a consumer may find an online merchant untrustworthy if either the product quality or the product grade does not match his or her expectations. For that reason, online merchants including digital storefronts and e-marketplaces are suggested to pursue a strategy focusing on identifying the target customers and offering products that they feel best meet performance and psychological needs of those customers. Thus, they should do their best to make it widely known that their products are of as good quality and grade as those purchased from offline department stores. In addition, it may be inferred that today's online consumers remain concerned about the security of the online commerce environment due to the repeated occurrences of hacking or private information leakage. Online merchants should take steps to remove potential vulnerabilities and provide online notices to emphasize that their website is secure. Second, consumer's overall trust was found to have a statistically significant influence on purchase intentions. This finding, which is consistent with the results of numerous prior studies, suggests that increased sales will become a reality only with enhanced consumer trust.

  • Purpose - Several domestic telecommunication companies have made a considerable effort to continuously grow and survive, and they have strived to thrive in the midst of mature market competition. To overcome this challenging situation and to grow continuously, while still meeting customer needs that are becoming more diverse and complicated with the passage of time, extensive support for internal marketing is essential. Without such internal support, companies face serious limitations and market roadblocks. The communication industry is a high-level service industry and a basic communications industry characteristic is its significant dependence on the employees delivering the services. Therefore, entrepreneurs in the information/communications industry, as well as existing competitors, should look to satisfy external customers through critical investment in internal customers (employees). Therefore, it is important for research to examine how internal factors influence technology innovation and service quality, which are the key drivers for companies that are seeking leading market positions. Research design, data, and methodology - The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship of technology innovation and perceived service quality with the internal marketing factors in the communication industry and to offer suitable and effective internal marketing suggestions. The independent variables of this study are internal communication, education and training, the support of the executives, reward systems, and empowerment. The dependent variables are technology innovation and perceived service quality. Utilizing these, this paper studies the influence of internal marketing factors on technology innovation and perceived service quality. Results - The study results revealed the following. First, the identified internal marketing factors have a positive effect on technology innovation. Among the five internal marketing factors, three had a significant effect on product innovation, empowerment, the support of executives, and education and training, in this order. Second, the internal marketing factors also had a positive effect on the process innovation of technology innovation. The marketing factors, the support of executives, empowerment, internal communication, and education and training, in this order, significantly affect process innovation. Third, technology innovation had a positive effect on perceived service quality. All of the five service quality factors, namely, tangibles, reliability, assurance, responsibility, and empathy, in this order, significantly affect product innovation. Additionally, tangibles, reliability, responsibility, empathy, and assurance, in this order, significantly affect process innovation. Fourth, product and process innovation significantly affect tangibles and reliability in technology innovation. To enhance tangibles and reliability, process innovation should first be enhanced. Fifth, product and process innovation significantly affect responsibility and empathy in technology innovation. To enhance the responsibility and empathy, process innovation should first be enhanced. Sixth, product and process innovation significantly affect assurance in technology innovation. To enhance the assurance, product innovation should first be enhanced. Conclusions - According to the results, a company's internal marketing factors have a positive and significant effect on technology innovation and, further, product and process innovation have a positive and significant effect on the perceived serviced quality.

  • Purpose: The widespread use of social network services (SNS) has caused users concern about the disclosure of their privacy or personal information. The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors of privacy concern and self presentation that affect the user resistance in the use of social network service. Methods: This study verifies the factors that affecting the user resistance in SNS. The research model suggested in this study is tested via a survey of 260 SNS users. SPSS and Smart PLS had been used to test the suggested hypotheses. Results: This study shows that privacy experience, privacy awareness, self esteem, and social desirability significantly influence perceived risk and that privacy awareness, self esteem, self efficacy, and perceived risk significantly influence perceived trust. It also verifies that perceived risk and perceived trust positively affect user resistance. Conclusion: This paper suggests that high awareness on privacy of SNS user encourages the SNS companies to consider the privacy protection mechanism for eliminating various factors that affecting the risk. This study also shows that the privacy calculus model applies to understanding the mechanism on resistance of SNS user.

시장 개방하에서 수입 의류의 시장 침투와 의류상품의 원산지에 대한 소비자 태도 조사 (A Study on the Market Penetration of Imported Apparel and Consumer Attitude toward the Country-of-Origin)

  • The success of apparel goods mainly depends on the purchase behavior of end use consumers. The decision making processes of apparel merchandise are very complicated according to the many information cues available to the consumers. The country-of-origin is one of the extrinsic cues to affect the consumers 'decision. To study the effect of country -of-origin, the Polo style knit shirts were chosen as stimuli to the male and the female subjects (total 527) aged from 18 to 35. The identical nine shirts (3 countries$\times$3 levels of price) were carefully manipulated for the treatments. The three countries labelled are Italy as industrialized country, China as less developed one, and Korea. In addition to the country-of -origin, the prices of the shirts were exposed to the respondents. The price levels were 14,000 won for the low, 39,000 won for the moderate, and 64,000 won for the high price level. The findings were as follows: 1) As price was increased, the perceived value and purchase intention were decresed. Price was not statistically significant to perceived quality, but it was significant to perceived value and willingness to buy. 2) The merchandise of "Made in Italy" was evaluated higher than those of "Made in Korea" and "Made in China" The country-of-origin had statistically significant influences on the perceived quality, perceived value and also willingness to buy. 3) The interaction between the two factors, country-of-origin and price, was not observed.n and price, was not observed.

SNS에 기반을 둔 전자상거래의 서비스 품질에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대한 연구 (A study on factors that affect service quality of SNS based commerce)

  • 현재 한국의 전자상거래 시장은 급성장 중이고 특히 온라인 상거래에서는 SNS를 통한 거래가 지속적으로 증가하는 추세입니다. 본 연구는 정보시스템 성공 모델을 적용하고 이를 SERVQUAL의 수정과 결합함으로써 고객의 관점으로 전자상거래 상황에서 SNS 기반 상거래에 대한 서비스 품질 결정 요인의 영향에 대해 조사합니다. 본 논문은 누적 샘플링 기술을 사용하여 진행한 온라인 설문 조사에서 총 216개의 표본을 분석했습니다. 독립변수로 확신성, 공감성, 반응성, 신뢰성, 자각된 유용성 및 고객만족을 사용하였습니다. 종속변수로는 자각된 유용성, 고객만족 그리고 순이익으로 설정하였습니다. SPSS 25 통계 프로그램을 통해 빈도 분석, 요인분석&신뢰도분석, 회귀분석을 진행하였습니다. 이로써 총 11개의 가설에 대한 결과를 도출하였습니다. 결과는 확신성(Assurance), 공감성(Empathy), 반응성(responsiveness) 그리고 신뢰성(Realiability)은 자각된 유용성(Perceived Usefulness)과 고객만족(Customer Satisfaction)에 중요한 영향을 미친다는 것을 보여줍니다. 또한 SNS기반의 상거래에서 자각된 유용성, 고객 만족도 및 순이익 간의 긍정적인 유의미한 관계를 보여주고 있습니다. 이러한 유의미한 결과를 토대로 향후 관련된 후속 연구에 도움이 될 것이라 기대합니다.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 IPTV 활성화를 위한 정부 지원정책의 IPTV 수용요인에 대한 영향 여부를 실증연구를 통해 살펴보고 그 효율성과 효과성을 확인하고자 함에 있다. IPTV 활성화를 위한 정부의 정책적 지원에는 공공수요 창출, 다양한 공공 콘텐츠 확대, 융합형 콘텐츠 제작 지원, 시장 규제 완화 등 다양한 분야에서 이루어지고 있다. 한편 IPTV 수용요인에는 여러 연구자들에 의해 기술적 품질, 콘텐츠 품질, 합리적 비용 등이 있는 것으로 확인되었다. IPTV 활성화를 위해서는 다양한 정부의 지원정책이 IPTV 수용요인의 활성화에 기여를 할 필요가 있지만, IPTV 정책 관련 연구들은 주로 규제와 관련된 연구들이 주를 이루고 있다. 본 연구의 결과 정책적 지원은 기술적 품질과 콘텐츠 품질에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 기술적 품질, 콘텐츠 품질, 합리적 비용 등은 모두 수용의도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 IPTV와 같이 새로운 기술 확산을 위한 지원 정책을 수립하거나 수정할 때 참조할 수 있다.

스마트 팩토리 품질요인이 스마트 팩토리 고도화 의도에 미치는 영향: 지각된 가치 및 스마트 팩토리 성과의 매개효과 (The Impact of the Quality Factor of Smart Factory on the Intention to accept Advance Smart Factor: Mediating Effect of Perceived Value and Smart Factory Performance)

  • 본 연구에서는 국내 스마트 팩토리 도입 기업이 스마트 팩토리 품질(시스템 품질, 정보품질, 서비스 품질)에 대해 지각된 가치 및 성과를 통하여 현 수준보다 개선된 스마트 팩토리의 도입 및 확장 간의 관계를 분석하고자 하였다. 분석결과, 지각된 가치에는 정보품질, 서비스 품질 요인이 통계적으로 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 스마트 팩토리 성과에는 시스템 품질, 정보품질 및 서비스 품질 모두 통계적으로 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 지각된 가치는 스마트 팩토리 성과에, 지각된 가치와 스마트 팩토리 성과는 모두 스마트 팩토리 고도화 의도에 통계적으로 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 시스템 품질과 정보품질은 지각된 가치와 스마트 팩토리 성과를 통해 지속가능성에 미치는 관계가 유의하게 나타났으며, 서비스 품질은 지각된 가치를 통해 스마트 팩토리 성과에 미치는 간접효과와 지각된 가치, 그리고 스마트 팩토리 성과를 통해 스마트 팩토리 고도화 의도에 미치는 간접효과 모두 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 본격적으로 스마트 팩토리를 도입하고 있는 기업들을 대상으로 한 스마트 팩토리 품질요인을 기반으로 스마트 팩토리 수준을 고도화할 수 있는 하나의 시사점으로 제시할 수 있다고 본다.

  • 한국과 같이 무역의존도가 높은 국가에서 항만은 국제무역증진, 해운산업의 발달 및 연관산업을 직간접으로 발전시킨다는 점에서 경제적 중요성이 크다고 할 수 있다. 또한 항만은 상품의 수출입기능을 수행하는 육 해상수송의 연결지로서 뿐만 아니라 생산수단으로서 더욱 중요한 역할을 수행하고 있다. 항만 서비스 요인들의 효율성을 달성하기 위해서는 항만 물류정보화에 대한 시스템 구축이 선행되어야 한다. 또한 항만에서의 정보기술에 대한 사용자의 수용행태를 이해하고 보다 효율적인 항만물류 서비스 목적을 달성하기 위해 지속적인 항만물류 서비스 시스템을 개선해야 할 것이다. 본 연구에서는 항만물류서비스의 정보기술 서비스의 수용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 기술수용모델을 기반으로 항만서비스 사용기업들의 특성을 반영한 연구모형을 개발하였다. 이와 같은 개발된 연구모형에 따라 항만물류 서비스의 기술수용모델의 요인들을 개발하여 항만서비스의 기술수용모델의 적용에 따른 효율성을 찾고자 한다. 결론적으로 항만에서 정보기술을 도입하여 항만 이용 당사자에게 제공함으로써, 항만제품 서비스 품질에 만족할 수 있고, 항만서비스에 정보기술을 도입하면 사용행동의도가 높아진다는 것이다. 그리고 사용행동의도가 실제적으로 항만 서비스 품질을 사용하는데 긍정적 효과가 있다. 따라서 항만 관계 시설에 정보기술을 도입하면, 항만 이용자에게는 업무 신속성과 비용절감, 인적감소, 항만 환경보호 등 전반적으로 직간접적인 항만 생산성 향상에 기여하게 될 것이다. 따라서 항만 정보기술의 지속적인 개발과 도입을 함으로써 글로벌 경쟁력을 발생할 것이다.

모바일 결제 앱에서의 보안과 신뢰 : 개인의 성향과 보안 신호를 중심으로 (Security and Trust of Mobile Payment Apps : Focus on Personal Predisposition and Security Signal)

  • 최근 모바일 결제 앱 시장이 점차 확대되고 있으나 보안과 프라이버시에 대한 염려로 인하여 모바일 결제 앱 사용률이 서비스 제공자들의 기대에 미치지 못하고 있다. 본 연구는 모바일 결제 앱을 사용하는 개인의 성향과 결제 앱 자체의 보안 신호가 사용자들의 인지된 개인정보 유출 위험과 보안 위험에 어떠한 영향을 주며, 이러한 요인들이 최종적으로 어떻게 모바일 결제 앱의 신뢰에 영향을 주는지 설문을 통하여 살펴보았다. 그 결과, 프라이버시 염려도는 인지된 개인정보 유출 위험을 증가시키고 모바일 시스템 보안 정도를 감소시키는 반면, 친숙도, 인지된 명성, 보안 마크는 인지된 개인정보 유출 위험을 감소시키고 모바일 시스템 보안 정도를 증가시키는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 인지된 개인정보 유출 위험의 감소와 모바일 시스템 보안의 증가가 모바일 결제 앱의 신뢰도에 긍정적 영향을 미친다는 점을 밝혔다.

푸드 코트 서비스의 고객만족 영향요인에 관한 연구 (Analysis of Customers' Satisfaction Factors Regarding Large Food Court Service)

  • The purposes of the study was to identify customers' satisfaction factors regarding foods and services in food courts in big department stores and discount stores in Seoul and Cheonan. A survey of 235 customers was conducted regarding customer satisfaction levels and factors of food and services. Customers' perceived level of attributes were identified into eight underlying dimensions by factor analysis as follows: factor 1 was "cleanliness": factor 2 "service quality": factor 3 "accuracy": factor 4 "atomosphere": factor 5 "food quality": factor 6 "menu information": factor 7 "price" and the eighth factor was "food result". Regression analysis indicated that "cleanliness" was found to be the most important factor contributing to customers' overall satisfaction. There were significant differences in customers' perceived satisfaction level of "food quality"(p<0.01), "accuracy", and "price" factors(p<0.05) between department stores and discount store. The customers' perceived satisfaction levels of "accuracy", "food quality" and "price" factor at a large store food court are higher than those of department store food court. Comparing location of food court, there were significant differences in customers' perceived satisfaction level of "accuracy" and "price" factors between in Seoul and Cheonan(p<0.001). The customers' perceived satisfaction levels of "accuracy" and "price" at the discount store in Seoul are lower than those of food court at Cheonan. It is suggested that the management should pay attention to the sanitation of their dinning halls, kitchens, hygienic dishes, hygienic water fountain, employee hygiene, and a proper place to put used dishes to increase the customers' satisfaction.
