차체 구조용 에폭시 접착제의 접합부 특성에 미치는 Zirconate 첨가효과 (The Effect of Zirconate Addition on the Joint Properties of Epoxy Adhesive for Car Body Assembly)

  • The effect of zirconate having - NH functional group on the T-peel and lap shear strength of $CaCO_3$ containing structural epoxy adhesive for car body assembly was investigated. Curing behavior of epoxy adhesive samples were investigated by differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) techniques. The addition of zirconate up to 7.5 phr did not affect the curing mechanism of epoxy adhesive. While the small amount of zirconate addition less than 1.1 phr increased the cross-linking density, the excess addition of zirconate resulted in the increase of uncross-linked impurity. From the increase of T-peel and lap shear strength and the change of fracture mode from the adhesive failure to the mixed one, it was considered that the small addition of zirconate was effective in improving the adhesion strength of epoxy adhesive to the adherend and inorganic filler surfaces. The formation of uncross-linked impurity with the excess addition of zirconate was considered to decrease the joint strength by decreasing the cohesive strength of the cured epoxy.

유화중합에 의한 전분-아크릴 그래프트 공중합에 관한 연구 (A Study on Starch-acrylic Graft Copolymerization by Emulsion Polymerization)

  • 전분을 매트리스 고분자로 하여 아크릴 모노머인 2-ethylhexylacrylate와 methyl methacrylate, acrylic acid를 그래프트 중합하였다. 중합은 라디칼 유화중합에 의하여 전분의 함량을 증가시키면서 수행되었다. 효소인 $\alpha$-amylase 가 전분 대비 0.174% 투입되었을 때 가장 안정한 중합물이 얻어졌으며 전분의 함량이 증가함에 따라 중합물의 유리전이온도가 상승하였다. 전분 함량의 증가에 따라 계내의 -OH기가 많아짐에 따라 중합물의 입자 크기와 점도가 증가하였다. Peel strength는 전분 함량이 증가할수록 -OH기 증가에 의해 중합물이 피착체 표면과의 친화력 상승이 일어나서 증가하였다. 반면 초기 점착력은 전분 함량이 증가할수록 유리전이온도의 증가에 따라 필름의 경도가 증가하면서 감소하였다.

  • A key point of a soldering process for photovoltaic (PV) modules is to increase an adhesive strength leading a low resistivity between ribbon and cell. In this study, we intended to optimize a heating condition for the soldering process and characterize the soldered joint via physical and chemical analysis methods. For the purpose, the heating conditions were adjusted by IR lamp power, heating time and hot plate temperature for preheating a cell. Since then the peel test for the ribbon and cell was conducted, consequently the peel strength data shows that there is some optimum soldering condition. In here, we observed that the peel strength was modified by increasing the heating condition. Such a soldering property is affected by a various factors of which the soldered joint, flux and bus bar of the cell are changed on the heating condition. Therefore, we tried to reveal causes determining the soldering property through analyzing the soldered interface.

리오셀직물의 심지접착에 따른 외관적 성능 및 역학적 특성(제1보) (The Effect of Fusible Interlining on the Appearance related Properties & Mechanical Characteristics for the Lyocell Fabric(Part I))

  • The goal of this research is to investigate the effect of fusible interlinings on the mechanical characteristics and appearance related values for the Lyocell fabrics. In this study, to establish optimum fusing conditions, peel strength of the fused fabrics depending on the fusing temperature, pressure and time was measured. Appearance related properties and mechanical characteristics of the fused fabrics ere determined. The reulst are as follows: In the fusing condition of $120^{\circ}C,\;3kgf/textrm{cm}^2$, 15sec, peel strength was excellent. Peel strength was excellent in the case of tencel/cotton fabric, with increasing cover factor of woven interlining, with twill and nonwoven interlining. Flex stiffness was increased in the case of tencel/cotton fabric, with increasing weight of woven interlining, with twill and nonwoven interlining. Drapability was excellent in the case of 100% tencel fabric, with decreasing weight of woven interlining, with plain and woven interlining. Crease recovery was excellent in the case of 100% tencel fabric, with increasing weight of woven interlining, with twill and woven interlining. Shear and bend properties were increased in the case of tencel/cotton fabric, with increasing weight of woven interlining, with plain and nonwoven interlining.

자외선 경화형 점착제의 접착 및 재박리 특성 (Adhesive and Removable Characteristics of UV Curable Adhesive)

  • 아크릴계 점착제를 합성한 후 이관능성 혹은 육관능성 우레탄-아크릴레이트 올리고머를 혼합하여 자외선 경화형 점착제를 제조하였다. 올리고머 종류 및 함량을 변화시켜 그에 따른 접착력 변화와 재박리 특성을 조사하였다. 자외선 경화전에는 올리고머의 함량의 증가에 따라 박리력이 증가하였으나 자외선 경화 후에는 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 저장 탄성률(G')이 낮을수록 박리력은 증가하지만 점착제 내부의 상용성과 손실계수(tan ${\delta}$) 값에 따라 점착제의 박리정도와 접착력에 영향을 주는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

다관능 우레탄 아크릴레이트 단량체의 합성과 분석, 및 폴리페닐렌에테르 기판소재용 경화성분으로의 적용 (Synthesis and Analysis of Multi-functional Urethane Acrylate Monomer, and its Application as Curing Agent for Poly(phenylene ether)-based Substrate Material)

  • 폴리페닐렌에테르[PPE, poly(phenylene ether)] 수지의 경화성분으로서 다관능 우레탄 아크릴레이트 단량체를 합성하고, 이후 PPE와 혼합하여 유전체 기판을 제작하고 그 특성을 평가하였다. 단량체 합성 후 FTIR, NMR 분석을 통하여 우레탄 결합이 형성되었는지 확인하였다. 복합물 쉬트를 필름 코터로 성형한 후, 진공가 압적층하여 테스트 기판을 제작하고, 단량체의 종류 및 함량에 따른 유전율, 유전손실, peel 강도를 평가하였다. 2종의 하이드록시 아크릴레이트 중 페닐기를 가진 2-hydroxy-3-phenoxypropyl acrylate를 이용하여 합성된 단량체를 경화성분으로 사용한 경우 유전손실이 더 작았으며, 단량체의 함량이 줄어들면서 유전율과 손실이 감소하는 경향을 나타내었다. Peel 강도는 단량체의 종류에 따라서 특별한 경향성을 보이지 않았다. 실험결과 동박 접합 강도가 약 10 N이고, 1 GHz에서 유전율이 약 2.54, 유전손실이 0.0027로 작은 고주파 대역용 고분자 기판소재를 얻었다.

삼관능 모노머의 종류 및 함량에 따른 자외선 경화형 감압 점착 필름의 특성 (Effects of Tri-functional Monomers on the Properties of UV-curable Pressure Sensitive Adhesives (PSAs))

  • Polybutadiene diol (PBD)과 isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI)의 반응을 통하여 이관능 우레탄 아크릴레이트 올리고머 (PB-UAO)를 합성하고, 여기에 삼관능 아크릴레이트 모노머 (Tris(2- acryloyloxyethyl) isocyanurate (TAOEIC), 또는 Trimethylolpropane triacrylate (TMPTA) 또는 Pentaerythritol triacrylate(PETA)), 단관능 아크릴레이트 모노머 (Stearyl Acrylate) 그리고 광개시제를 혼합한 후 이형필름 위에 코팅하고 자외선 경화를 통하여 감압 점착 필름을 제조하였다. 삼관능 아크릴레이트 모노머의 구조 및 함량에 따른 감압 점착제의 박리강도, 인장강도, 신율, 열안정성 및 흡습 특성의 변화를 고찰하였다. 삼관능 아크릴레이트 모노머의 함량이 증가할수록, 그리고 분자량이 작을수록 감압 점착 필름의 박리강도, 연신율 및 흡습율은 감소하는 경향을 보였으며, 인장강도 및 열안정성은 증가하는 것을 확인하였다.

FDM 방식을 활용한 3D 프린팅 복합직물의 박리강력 측정 연구 (Study on Peel Strength Measurement of 3D Printing Composite Fabric by Using FDM)

  • One way of appling 3D printing to garments is through the combination of 3D polymer filaments in textile fabrics. it is essential to understand the interface between the polymer and the 3D composite fabric in order to enhance the adhesion strength between the polymers and the peeling strength between the fabric and the polymer. In this study, the adhesion of composite printed specimens using a combination of fabric and polymers for 3D printing was investigated, and also the change in adhesion was investigated after the composite fabric printed with polymers was subjected to constant pressure. Through this process, the aims to help develop and utilize 3D printing textures by providing basic data to enhance durability of 3D printing composite fabrics. The measure of the peeling strength of the composite fabric prepared by printing on a fabric using PLA, TPU, Nylon polymer was obtained as follows; TPU polymer for 3D printing showed significantly higher peel strength than polymers of composite fabric using PLA and Nylon polymer. In the case of TPU polymer, the adhesive was crosslinked because of the reaction between polyurethane and water on the surface of the fabric, thus increasing the adhesion. It could be observed that the adhesion between the polymer and the fiber is determined more by the mechanical effect rather than by its chemical composition. To achieve efficient bonding of the fibers, it is possible to modify the fiber surface mechanically and chemically, and consider the deposition process in terms of temperature, pressure and build density.

복합재료 Wavy-Lap Joint의 3-D 상세 응력 해석 (Refined 3-D Stress Analysis of Composite Wavy-Lap Joint)

  • Due to intrinsic load eccentricity, severe peel stress concentration occurs at both ends of the single-lap joint. To avoid load eccentricity as well as the singular tensile peel stress in the joint interface, composite wavy-lap joint is proposed. In this paper, refined 3-D stress analysis of wavy-lap joint is performed by finite element method using parallel mutifrontal solver. Analysis results show that the singular tensile peel stress concentration is totally avoided in wavy-lap joint, and that loads are more evenly transferred over the length of the joint. Therefore, the strength of wavy-lap joint is significantly higher than that of conventional single-lap joint. And it is believed that even higher strengths can be obtained by optimizing the new design configuration.
