교류 고속철도계통에서 BESS의 도입을 위한 전력소비 및 충·방전효과 분석에 관한 연구 (Study on Analysis for Power Consumption and Charge/Discharge Effect with BESS in AC High-Speed Electric Railway System)

  • The power consumption pattern of high-speed railway has rarely during night time. But, during service time, the power is consumed irregularly related to train operation. Especially certain unusual about 1-2 days of service time interval to indicate the power consumption is rapidly growing phenomenon, which causes the capacity of the power contract is the annual electricity bill to rise rapidly as the cause. Normally, amount of peak power consumption bill rate at railway substation is over 20% of total electrical bill. Therefore, high-speed railway substation is expected to be considerably larger savings by reducing the peak power of the default charge(demand power).

테이핑에 따른 발목 근력, 고유수용성감각에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of a Taping on Muscle Strength, and Proprioception in Ankle)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study was to investigate changes of muscle strength, ROM and proprioceptive function as before & after ankle taping in soccer players. For this study fifteen sports club whose had no ankle injuries were volunteered. Methode : Fifteen healthy male in soccer players participated in this study. Biodex pro system3 was used to measure isokinetic muscle strengths at $60^{\circ}$/sec angular velocity. Performances of ankle joint were measured peak torque, total work, average power, total work. To measure proprioceptive function used goniometer. Results : 1. proprioceptive sensation error were significantly differences by before & after taping(p<.05). 2. Compare of total work of dorsi flexion plantar flexion weren't significantly differences by before & after taping(p>.05). 3. Compare of average power of dorsi flexion weren't significantly differences by before & after taping(p>.05). 4. Compare average power of plantar flexion were significantly differences by before & after taping(p<.05). 5. Compare average peak torque of dorsi flexion weren't significantly differences by before & after taping(p>.05). 6. Compare average peak torque of plantar flexion were significantly differences by before & after taping(p<.05). Conclusion : Taping can have propriocetive aberrative angular measure, power & peak torque of plantar flexion were significantly differences. But, total work of dorsi flexion plantar flexion and power & peak torque of dorsi flexion weren't significantly differences.

한국 전력시장에서의 가스터빈(GT) 발전기 경쟁력 및 시장 미진입 적정성 분석 (Analysis of Gas Turbine Competitiveness and Adequacy of Electricity Market Signal in Korea)

  • This study analyzed competition in peak load plants between CCGT and GT instead of competition between base and peak load plants like in previous studies. In common overseas power markets, CCGT and GT claim certain market shares as peak load plants with the latter boasting a high utilization rate as reserve plants. In South Korea, however, there has been no introduction of GT in the market that opened in 2001 with no analysis cases of GT's economy as a peak load plant. The current power market of South Korea is run on the cost-based pool, which allows for no price spikes. Since the capacity payment criteria for compensations for missing money are set based on GT generators, the power market uses GT generators as marginal plants. The purposes of this study were to analyze the competitive edge of GT generators as peak load plants in the domestic power market of South Korea and identify the causes of GT's failure in market entry, thus assessing the adequacy of market signals in the domestic power market.

시간 역전을 기반으로 한 지능적 원거리 무선전력전송 (Smart Far-Field Wireless Power Transfer via Time Reversal)

  • 본 논문에서는 지능적인 원거리 무선전력전송의 방식으로 시간 역전(time reversal) 기반 전파 집속 방법을 제시하였다. 시간 역전 기반의 무선전력전송은 복잡한 전파환경에서도 기기의 위치에 상관없이 전파를 선택적으로 집속하여 높은 peak 전력을 전달할 수 있다. 현실과 가까운 전파환경 시뮬레이션을 통하여 시간 역전 기반의 시 공간 전파 집속 현상을 검증하였고, 집속된 RF를 정류하여 전달된 DC 전압을 확인하였다. 또한 일반적인 협대역 신호(CW) 대비 시간 역전 신호의 peak 향상률과 정류 전력비를 확인한 결과, 최대 12 dB 향상된 peak 전력이 전송되었으며, 따라서 보다 높은 효율로 전력전송이 이루어짐을 확인하였다.

Gold층을 가진 저항형 초전도 한류기에 대한 특성연구 (A study on characteristics for a resistive SFCL with gold layer)

  • Cold 층을 입힌 저항형 초전도 한류기의 전류 제한 특성을 통하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 고장발생후 3.2 msec 후에 quench가 발생하였으며, 부분적인 quench가 발생한 다음 시간이 지나면서 완전한 quench로 진행되었다. 즉, 선로고장에 따른 quench 발생 후 YBCO 초전도체의 gold층으로 대부분의 전류가 흐르게 되고, quench 되면서 발생하는 열도 대부분 gold층에서 흡수하여저항이 증가하였으며 이에 따른 전류감소, 전압증가 및 소비전력증가가 발생하였다. 인가전압 V$_0$=65 V$_{peak}$이고 R$_0$는 1 ${\omega}$, 그리고 R$_L$을 7.7 ${\omega}$으로 하였을 때 사고모의 위상각 0$^{\circ}$에서 고장발생후 0.9 msec 후인 9.6 A$_{peak}$ 되는 지점에서 quench가 발생하여 13.0 A$_{peak}$의 최대한류전류값을 보인후 11.4 A$_{peak}$의 전류값에서 fast quench가 완료되었다. 이때 quench 시간은0.63 msec 이었다. 저항값은 gold층에서 발생한 열때문에 점진적인 상승을 보이다가 약 3주기후에 일정한 값에 도달하였다. 한류소자의 온도는 약 11 msec 후에 상온에 도달하였으며, 3 주기후인 54 msec에는 150 $^{\circ}C$까지 상승하였다. gold 박막을 입힌 meander line은 임계전류 이상의 전류를 통전하였을 때에 용단되지 않았으며 ??치된 상태에서 3 사이클 이상 유지하였다. 약65 A$_{rms}$가 흘렀을 때에야 ??치후 3 사이클 지나용단되었다. 이러한 YBCO/gold에 의한 초전도한류기의 용량은 gold에 발생하는 열을 gold가감당할 수 있는 전류의 크기와 관련이 있으며, gold층이 YBCO 한류소자가 quench되었을 때 발생하는 열을 효과적으로 분산시킬 뿐만 아니라 전기적으로 shunt 회로 역할을 하고 있음을 확인할 수 있다. 이에 더하여 앞으로 quench 후 한류소자에서 발생할 수 있는 인덕턴스의 저감방안에 대한 설계 및 모델 탐구를 통하여 좀더 효율적인 한류소자 구성에 대한 연구를 병행하고자 한다.

1.5V 2㎓ 저전력 피크 디텍터의 설계 (A 1.5V 2㎓ Low-Power Peak Detector)

  • In this paper, a 1.5V 2㎓ low-power peak detector is presented. Analyzing the designed peak detector circuit which is composed with two NMOSs, two diodes, and two capacitors, the detection characteristic relationships are derived. The simulation results with SPICE for 2㎓ pulse signals and sinusoidal signals on the 1.5V supply voltages show the good detection characteristics for input signal levels of 50㎷~500㎷, and show very small power dissipation of 0.332㎽.

  • In this paper, an effective peak power reduction scheme for a downlink OFDM-CDMA system is proposed. Using the partial parallel transform(PPT) structure, peak-to-average power ratio(PAPR) can be reduced. The patterns of inputs of Inverse Fast Fourier Transform(IFFT) are more randomized in this structure by allotting the subcarriers to each users. At the cost of complexity we can obtain reduced PAPR and multiple access interference(MA) Computer simulations are carried out from the viewpoint of PAPR and demonstrated the improved PAPR performance.

Picosecond Mid-Infrared 3.8 ㎛ MgO:PPLN Optical Parametric Oscillator Laser with High Peak Power

  • In this study, a compact, picosecond, mid-infrared 3.8 ㎛ MgO:PPLN optical parametric oscillator (OPO) laser output with high peak power is realized using a master oscillator power amplifier (MOPA) 1 ㎛ solid-state laser seeded by a picosecond fiber laser as the pump source. The pump source was a 50 MHz and 10 ps fiber seed source. After AOM pulse selection and two-stage solid-state amplification, a 1,064 nm laser output with a repetition frequency of 1-2 MHz, pulse width of 9.5 ps, and a maximum average power of 20 W was achieved. Furthermore, a compact short cavity with a unsynchronized pump is adopted through the design of an OPO cavity structure. When the injection pump power was 15 W and the repetition frequency was 1 MHz, the average output power of idler light was 1.19 W, and the corresponding peak power was 119 kW. The optical conversion efficiency was 7.93%. When the repetition frequency was increased to 2 MHz, the average output power of idler light was 1.63 W, the corresponding peak power was 81.5 kW, and the optical conversion efficiency was 10.87%. At the same time, the output wavelength was measured at 3,806 nm, and the beam quality was MX2 = 3.21 and MY2 = 3.34.

Economic Evaluation of ESS in Urban Railway Substation for Peak Load Shaving Based on Net Present Value

  • In this paper, we estimate the economic benefits of Energy Storage Systems (ESSs) for peak load shaving in an urban railway substation using the annual cost. The annual investment cost of ESSs is estimated using Net Present Value (NPV) and compared with the cost reduction of electricity by the ESS. The optimal capacities of the battery and Power Converting System (PCS) are determined for peak load shaving. The optimal capacity of the ESS and the peak load shaving is determined to maximize the profit by the ESS. The proposed method was applied to real load data in an urban railway substation, and the results show that electric power costs can be reduced. Other aspects of the ESS, such as the lifetime and unit price of the battery, are also investigated economically.

  • The High Peak to Average Power Ratio (PAPR) could be a severe Problem in OFDM performance since it causes the significant distortion to the transmitting signal through a nonlinear device such as High Power Amplifier (HPA). In this paper, the performance of Peak cancellation method according to the HPA characteristic is comparatively analyzed with the clipping and windowing methods. The BER performances and the out-band power spectrums are demonstrated in detail.
