Analysis of Receiving Strength according to the Attachment Location of RFID tag in Palletized Unit-load of Agricultural Products

  • This study was conducted as a basic study for the selection of tags suitable for logistics management in the palletized unit-load unit and the development of various technologies to activate the palletized unit-load shipment of agricultural products through local APCs. Three types of passive RFID tags of UHF 900 MHz and one type of active RFID tag of 2.4 GHz band designed and manufactured through this study were used to analyze the receiving strength according to the tag's attachment location and distance of the palletized unit-load of agricultural products. In the passive RFID tag, there was a large difference in receiving strength by the tag's attachment location and a large amount of data loss depending on the distance within 30 m, whereas, in the active RFID tag, it was superior to the passive tags in terms of both receiving strength and data loss. Therefore, active tags are desirable from the perspective of multiple identification of warehouses with large spaces in relation to the application of RFID tags for palletized unit-loads of agricultural products, but the development of low-power technologies such as software wakeup power management as well as hardware to minimize battery power consumption is necessary.

성역할정체성, 자아존중감, 외모에 대한 사회문화적 태도에 따른 메트로섹슈얼 소비 (Metro-sexual Consumption in Accordance with Identity of Gender Roles, Self-esteem and Cultural-Social Attitude Toward Appearance)

  • This study conducted a survey with 300 male respondents in their 20s to 50s, in order to examine the influence of personal variables, identity of gender roles, self-esteem and social-cultural attitude towards appearance on metro-sexual consumption. The findings are as follows: First, the majority of respondents experienced metro-sexual consumption in passive ways, such as purchasing cosmetics or perfume. Second, self-esteem differed by classification of identity of gender roles and the self-esteem was the most highly rated in non-classified, followed by in femininity, masculinity and androgyny. On the other hand, the non-classified group appeared to have the most highly social and cultural attitude toward appearance. Lastly, when examining the effect of personal variables, identity of gender roles, self- esteem and social-cultural attitude toward appearance on metro-sexual consumption, the results showed that the younger respondents who spend the highest monthly expenses on appearance, belong to the androgynous group and have the social-cultural attitude, are more likely to have a greater tendency towards metro-sexual consumption.

친환경 패션 제품 소비 가치 만족도가 브랜드 이미지와 재구매 의도에 미치는 영향 연구 (A study on the effect of consumption value satisfaction on brand image and repurchase intention of eco-friendly fashion products)

  • In a situation where the importance of eco-friendly fashion is growing, this study adds to the needed research by analyzing consumption value satisfaction factors, brand image, and repurchase intentions of eco-friendly fashion products. During the investigation, the impact of gender was also accounted for to establish an effective marketing strategy. In June 2024, 250 surveys were evaluated from domestic consumers with experience purchasing eco-friendly fashion products. Descriptive statistical analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, and regression analysis were performed. Five factors were measured to determine satisfaction with the consumption value of eco-friendly fashion products: emotional value, functional value, social and situational value, passive value, and rare and eco-friendly value. Empirically subdividing satisfaction with eco-friendly fashion as recognized by consumers reveals meaningful findings about consumption value. Among the factors of consumption value satisfaction with eco-friendly fashion products, functional value, social and situational value, and rare and eco-friendly value all positively affected repurchase intention. The consumer's gender also made a difference in satisfaction. Considering these results, the marketing effect of eco-friendly fashion can be increased. This study will be able to increase the ESG management effect of fashion companies. By performing ESG management, the fashion industry can achieve social and environmental responsibility along with sustainable growth.

Effects of Chrysanthemum indicum Linne Flowers on Acetylcholinesterase Activity and Learning Performance in Mice

  • Alzheimer's disease (AD) is the most common neurodegenerative disorder and is responsible for more than 50% of all dementia cases. There is significant interest in finding new sources of compounds that inhibit acetylcholinesterase (AChE) to be used in the treatment of AD, since only a few AChE inhibitors, such as galanthamine, physostigmine, and tacrine, are available for clinical use. In the present study, ICR mice were treated with a 1 mg/kg scopolamine, which caused impaired cognitive ability. The steady consumption of a water extract of Chrysanthemum indicum Linne flowers for 3 months significantly prevented the scopolamine induced deficit of the spatial cognitive capability of mice. It also improved long-term memory in mice with amnesia induced by scopolamine, as assessed by the Morris water maze and passive avoidance tests. In addition, water extract consumption significantly decreased AChE activity in mouse brain, leading to inhibition of acetylcholine hydrolysis.

수직다관절 로봇의 중력보상장치 개발 및 성능 분석 (A Passive Gravity-Compensation System for Articulated Robots)

  • This paper presents a new passive gravity -compensating system for articulated robot manipulators. The system, which consists of linear zero- free -length springs, achieves exact counterbalancing o f the gravitational loads throughout the entire range of the manipulator workspace, A basic concept is to design springs such that the total potential energy of the system including the manipulator and the springs should be maintained constant. A prototype has been developed for a direct-drive five-bar manipulator and its performances have been investigated. Results show that the gravity-induced motor torques have been reduced to less than 5% of those of uncompensated robots. Also, the gravity-compensating system simplifies the position control algorithm while maintaining the trajectory-tracking errors in a satisfactory level. In conclusion, the proposed system efficiently improves the manipulator performances by reducing the driving motor size and the energy consumption as well as by simplifying the control systems.

체위 변화에 수반되는 순환 및 호흡반응 (Circulatory and Respiratory Responses to Postural Changes)

  • An attempt was made to study circulatory and respiratory responses to the passive tilt. Anesthetized dogs were tilted from horizontal to upright $(+90^{\circ})$ and head down $(-90^{\circ})$ position. The arterial blood pressure was decreased in the upright position and was decreased slightly in the head down position comparing to that in the horizontal position. Cardiac index also decreased in the both upright and head down positions. The total systemic vascular resistance was slightly increased in the upright position and was markedly increased in the head down position. The mean pulmonary arterial pressure was significantly decreased in the both upright and head down positions. The total pulmonary vascular resistance was decreased in the both upright and head down positions. Oxygen consumption was slightly decreased in the upright position, whereas it was slightly increased in the head down position. The A-V $O_2$ difference (vol. %) was slightly increased in the upright position and increased in the head down position. From the above results, process of the circulatory compensation to the gravity in the Passive tilting test was discussed. Neuronal cardiovascular regulation to the gravity and tile adaptation of capacitance vessles to hydrostatic stress and oxygen consumption concerning anoxic endurance of the brain were also discussed.

UWB 응용을 위한 저전력 고속 스위칭 주파수 합성기의 설계 (A Low Power Fast-Hopping Frequency Synthesizer Design for UWB Applications)

  • 본 연구에서는 MB-OFDM UWB 응용을 위하여 복잡도를 낮추고 전력소모를 줄인 고속 스위칭 주파수 합성기를 다룬다. 제안된 구조는 밴드 그룹 1 주파수를 생성하기 위하여 3960 MHZ LC VCO, 528 MHz 링 오실레이터, 수동 믹서 및 LC-조정 Q-향상 BPF를 사용한다. 인접 채널 제거비는 3432 MHz 신호에서 -40 dBc 이하, 그리고 4488 MHz 신호에서 -44 dBc 이하의 특성을 확인하였다. 요구되는 출력 신호를 얻기 위하여 SCL 구조의 고속 스위칭 MUX를 사용하여 2.2 ns 이하의 밴드 스위칭 시간을 얻었다. 전체 전력 소모는 1.8 V 전원을 사용하여 47.9 mW이다.

수동형 적분기(Passive Integrator)를 이용한 저전력 이산시간 Incremental Delta Sigma ADC (Low Power Discrete-Time Incremental Delta Sigma ADC with Passive Integrator)

  • 본 논문에서는 설계 요구가 높고, 전력 소모가 높은 opamp를 이용하는 기존의 능동형 적분기를, 수동형 적분기로 대체하여 고속의 저전력, 고해상도 특성을 갖는 incremental delta-sigma ADC를 소개한다. 능동형 적분기에서 수동형 적분기로의 변환을 위해, 기존의 능동형 적분기의 특성을 분석하였다. 이를 바탕으로 opamp의 설계 요구를 낮추고, 더 나아가 opamp를 사용하지 않는 저전력의 수동형 적분기를 제안하였다. 65nm 공정을 이용하여 수동형 적분기로 구성된 1차 single-bit incremental delta-sigma ADC를 설계하였다. Transistor-level 시뮬레이션 결과, 이는 supply 전압이 1.2V인 상황에서 modulator만 0.6uW, digital filter를 포함한 ADC 전체에서 6.25uW를 소모하며 BW 22KHz, SNDR 71dB, dynamic range 74.6dB을 달성하였다.

사회계층 변인과 여가활동에 따른 과시적 여가의복소비 (Conspicuous Consumption of Leisure Apparel according to Social Stratum Variables and Leisure Activities)

  • This study classified social stratum variables of adults in their 20s to 50s by subjective and objective measurements and classified leisure activities into groups to examine the conspicuous consumption of leisure apparel. A total of 365 adults in their 20s to 50s living in Daegu and the Kyungbuk area were selected considering their jobs and residences. SPSS PC+ 20.0 was used to analyze the data with frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability examination, cluster analysis, ANOVA, Duncan-test, Scheffe-test, and ${\chi}^2-test$. The results of this study are shown as follows. First, 'Jogging/Walking' was found to be the most favorable activity in the examination of leisure sports activities among the participants and showed a difference in gender. Second, leisure activities were pastime-culture activity, sports activities, static activity, volunteering, and relaxing, and these activities were grouped into non-participant, active and passive leisure activities. Conspicuous consumption of leisure apparel was classified into personality oriented, luxury goods-oriented, and other people-oriented. Third, there was a significant difference in the sub-factors of the conspicuous consumption of leisure apparel (personality oriented, luxury goods-oriented, other people-oriented) according to the sub-factors of subjective stratum(economic power, social position, level of consumption, cultural level and overall stratum consciousness). Fourth, there was significance in the objective social stratum variable by the types of leisure activities. Significant differences were found in personality orientation, luxury goods-oriented, and other people-oriented in conspicuous consumption of leisure apparel by the types of leisure activities. Finally, there were significant differences in economic power, level of consumption, cultural level of subjective social stratum by gender, sports activities and volunteering in leisure activities, as well as other people-oriented conspicuous consumption of leisure apparel. This study also found significant differences in economic power, level of consumption and cultural level of social stratum by age, as well as other people-oriented conspicuous consumption of leisure apparel.

청소년의 의복소비행동의 지역별 비교연구 (Regional Differences of Clothing Consumption Behavior in Korean Adolescents)

  • The purpose of this study was to understand regional differences of clothing consumption behavior of Korean adolescents. Subjects were 624 male and female high school students in north and south to the Hangang river, Seoul, and those in Kunsan City, Jeonlabuk-Do. The clothing consumption orientation were classified 4 dimensions by factor analysis: brand orientation, others-sensitivity, impulse buying, and advertizement influence. Female students were significantly higher in brand orientation, others-sensitivity, and impulse buying than males. Students in the south Seoul are influenced more than the other two regions by brand orientation, others-sensitivity, and impulse buying. There were significant interaction effects in brand orientation and others sensitivity by sender and region. In the north Seoul students, males demonstrated less brand orientation than females. while south Seoul male students did high others-sensitivity tendency than male of the other regions. Males of north Seoul and Kunsan spent less expense for clothing, but south Seoul students equally in males and females spent the highest for clothing. About one-third of all adolescents had imitated appearance of an entertainer. mostly for hair-styles of them. Major commodities that teenagers purchased on impulse were shirts, pants, shoes, and bags. Since shoes prevailed among purchased famous brands, teenagers seem to be most interested in shoes as far as the brand was concerned in particular. In general, clear differences of gender and region were observed in clothing consumption behavior: male adolescents in the north Seoul and Kunsan City exhibited Passive clothing behavior, whereas south Seoul males and females showed active behavior and gender-equality.
