This study conducted five day school week as seeking direction for programs and policies that meet the needs of weekend activities want the satisfaction of youth to find out what to investigate. For purpose, actually a lot since five day school week and weekend programs whether or not to participate, hope to weekend programs, weekend activities operating in the way were examined. Findings, for the first five day schol week of youth satisfaction than girls, boys lower was, since five day school week and weekend program participation rates were lower. Young people can study their aptitude to live autonomously in a student-centered curriculum of education is required, arising from a rapidly changing society and human relationships, social problems, to respond to a variety of leisure time, and to participate in the program will be provided an opportunity. The purpose of this study was to examine a mother's and her two son's 'practice of mutual respect rights' experiences, and to find a solution to inspire the practice of realizing rights of mutual respect within a family. From September 2012 to March 2013, qualitative research methods such as transcripts, observations, in-depth interviews, and analysis of records were applied to a mother and her two sons. As a result, the mother's experiences showed that she and her two sons had enough mutual respect, and the regression of the first child was a natural and positive part in that process. Also, conflicts between protection rights and participation rights were integrated into a practice of mutual respect, and the mother had an opportunity to think about positive discipline. With this practice, the mother and her two sons were able to reconcile their relationships and have deep respect for one another, and family members felt psychologically safe through this practice of rights. In addition, the practice of rights was transferred to other family members, and the mother came to have courage about being an adequate parent. The results of this study revealed that the following research could be used to propose concrete contents and to plan how to recognize and access the practice of rights among family members.

Journalism and Mass Communication as an academic field is believed more politicized one than pure literature and natural science. With the growth of the media, there follows additional opportunities for media scholars to take a part in politics as well. Few attention was given to understand the status and mechanism of political intervention either as advisers or decision makers though. This study attempts thus to fill this vacuum. For this, first of all, it examines a various types of laws related to media politics. Total number of 164 scholars who participated in 12 councils and commissions were analyzed on the following step. Research shows that there are patterns which favor Seoul National University, U.S. trained Ph. D and geographic preference to the capital. Neither academic excellence nor commitment to public interest appear to have impact on taking those positions. Taking into account media's expansion into politics, it is inevitable for media scholars to take responsibility not only in policy making but in taking leadership. Accordingly, the question of necessity is not who but how as much as manner. The authors hope this study will be a valuable opportunity to establish a kind of ethical standards in media politics.
This article examines K-8 pre-service teachers' (PSTs) engagement in lesson plan modification using the eight Mathematics Teaching Practices (MTPs) in Principles to Actions, the most recent landmark publication of framework by National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) in the U.S. The activity consisted of four phases that involved the analysis and modification of an existing lesson plan. Fifty-seven PSTs participated in the activity throughout the semester, and data from each phase was analyzed using the inductive content analysis approach. PSTs' initial conceptions of lesson planning reflected little on teaching practices (i.e., the MTPs) with more emphasis placed on the form - rather than function - of lesson elements. With the opportunity to interpret MTPs and analyze lesson plans using MTPs as an analytical lens, PSTs demonstrated various interpretations of MTPs, made efforts to incorporate MTPs into lessons, and attended to the interwoven nature of MTPs. This article also shares the challenges, conflicts, and tensions reported by PSTs during their participation of lesson plan modification; as such, the results from this study will inform the research examining the pedagogical (im)possibilities for utilizing MTPs in mathematics teacher training programs.
This study investigated the change of pre-service science teachers' epistemological views of education according to the stages of the field education programs application. For this study, surveys and interviews were carried out threes times before and after participation through participant observation of classes and teaching practices. All data recorded and collected of 28 pre-service science teachers who had answered entire surveys were transcribed and analyzed. The conclusion is as follows; before the participant observation of classes, the pre-service science teachers had views of traditional education affected by epistemology of objectivism. After the participant observation of classes, the views of traditional education increased due to in-service teachers that showed teaching methods through the course of the participant observation. However, it was changed significantly into the views of modern education affected by epistemology of constructivism through the course of the teaching practices. Based on the conclusions of this study, it was identified that the field education programs might have both positive and negative influence on the change of the views of education for the pre-service science teachers. Therefore, Pre-service science teachers should have a opportunity to intensify of constructivism epistemological views of education through the field education programs. The teacher training institutions have to provide systematic and organic cooperation with schools.

For the wide spread of cyber education, it is important to understand the instructional characteristics of cyber education and its applications in the educational sites which help to cope with the practical needs and problems. This study was conducted to analyze the experience of cyber classes(working hours, tasks and evaluation, satisfaction level and instructional effectiveness, suggestions for cyber education) and use of instructional methodology (instructional activities, interaction frequencies, cooperative learning activities, instructional activities toward knowledge building). The data was collected from pre-service teachers(403) and in-service teachers(318) in June 2004. The results were that pre-service and in-service teachers all consider the satisfaction level and academic achievement level of cyber classes lower than that of FTF classes. Particularly the boring presentation of instructional materials and the inadequate instructional strategies for cyber classes were the biggest complains, and lack of interaction among peer groups and with instructors, lack of learning opportunity for cyber instructional strategies, limited group activities, lack of interaction with experts were followed. Limited types of evaluation also showed that cyber classes focus on results more than the process of students' academic achievement.
To survey the recognition of Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR) by Public Health Center(PHC) Physical Therapists in Kyoungki Province. This study analysed general characteristic of Physical Therapists and congnition, participation, education, problems and requireanents for CBR. The objects of this study were 37 therapists who work at 27 of 39 PHC in Kyoungki province and data was collected for 20days from Jan. 12 to 31. 1998 and the results computed from 32 responses. First, Female therapists outnumber males. The age category 30 to 35 old represneted $56.2\%$ of the total number studied. $59.4\%$ of therapists had worked more than 7 years and therapists usually$(46.9\%)$ worked from 6 month to 2 years at the PHC. Junior college graduates were $84.4\%$, and respondents with family responsibilirt were $65.6\%$. Second, Recently pain control has become the major requirment of patiants at PH$(53.1\%)$. If they offered expaneded services - a rehabilitation program $(53.1\%)$, home vistation $(31.3\%)$. when asked about a working guide book, nobody had one. Third, $68.7\%$ of therapists were aware of the present level of CBR, $40.9\%$ of them had gotten an information from educated colleagues, and $68.7\%$ of therapists were aware of the present level of CBR, $86.4\%$ of therapists felt responsible to provide rehabilitation Fourth, For CBR, $93.7\%$ had positive ideas in which they could participate. $73.3\%$ wished to composed a team of various rehabilitational specialists. $73.3\%$ wished for the meeting day to be flexible and $86.6\%$ desired to meet once or twice a week. Fifth, Almost all$(96.9\%)$ desired more educational opportunity about CBR. Example, once or twice a year$(56.2\%)$ and training period of 4-7 days $(43.7\%)$. They wanted to learn theory and practice together$(74.2\%)$ and $74.2\%$ wanted the mational multi-rehabilitation center as a educational managing organization. Sixth, The most important requirment for accomplishing CBR by physical therapists was job security and an adequate number of therapists$(84.4\%)$ Required number of physical therapists in the PHC was 3 $(43.7\%)$. The cooperative agency should be the district goverment organization $(56.2\%)$. Factors inhibiting the execution of CBR were lack of administrative support, physical therapists, and equipments for pain control and for therapeutic exercise.
Background: The International Classification of Functioning, Disability, and Health-core set (ICF-core set) for children and youth (CY) with cerebral palsy (CP) provides a useful conceptual framework and a guide for health care planning and measuring the changes brought by interventions across a multitude of dimensions from body functions to personal activities, social participation, and environmental factors for them. Objects: This single case study was reported to illustrate the use of a goal directed approach in applying the ICF-core set for CY with CP from a physical therapist perspective. Methods: An eleven year old boy with spastic CP, Gross Motor Function Classification System (GMFCS) level V, and his mother participated in an evaluation of his functioning state. The intervention goal was set through an interview using the ICF-core set, Canadian Occupational Performance Measure (COPM) and Goal Attainment Scale (GAS). Physical therapy was carried out on an outpatient basis using a goal directed approach for 30 min, 1 time/week during 12 weeks and the boy's gross motor function was assessed using the Gross Motor Function Measure (GMFM)-66 version (item set 2) before and after the intervention. Results: As measured by the boy's mother, the COPM score showed a meaningful clinical change (performance=mean 3.5, satisfaction=mean 2.5) and the T-score of GAS changed 34.4 after the goal directed approach. The GMFM-66 (item set 2) score changed from 31.8 to 38.7 and evaluation using the ICF-core set displayed improvement in 6 items of activity level between before and after the intervention. Conclusion: The ICF-core set for CY with CP is useful for understanding the overall functioning of CY with this condition and provides an opportunity to share and integrate information and opinions from different disciplines. We consider it as a useful tool in the universal language for the therapy and education of CY with CP.

Objective : This study was to learn the Korean Occupational Therapists' awareness and current state of implement of Occupation-Based Practice and to use it as a baseline data. Methods : After 300 Korean clinical occupational therapists were conveniently sampled, the structured 293 questionnaires were released, the answered 293 questionnaires were analyzed. Results : Awareness of OBP was 5.7 points on average and the awareness, increased with age and clinical experience. The opportunity that Occupational Therapists know OBP was through major subjects, articles & seminars, through peers and so on. The differences depended on age, level of education, location of work, clinical experience. 152 Occupational therapists(52.8%) answered that they apply OBP in their clinical work. There was no significant difference in the use of OBP based on gender, age, clinical experience, education background with exception of work location. It was shown that during practice,The most frequently used OBP was as follow in order: interview, practice, goal setting, assessment and documentation. The goal of using OBP was to find out a meaningful occupation for client's living, to promote client's participation in family or community, to treat for function recovery of clients. The biggest difficulty faced during OBP was lack of understanding of OBP for the clients and their guardian. Other difficulties were limitations of treatment environment, lack of occupational instruments, related knowledge, utilization method, preparation time and difficulty in handling insurance and medical expenses in order. Conclusion : Level of awareness of OBP was at intermediate level and it was related to education level and treatment environment. Based on this result, it is need to support institutional and academical discusstion in order to promote OBP.
The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the CoRe-based density unit class on conceptual formation and on learner satisfaction with the class. For this study, two hundred and forty 8th grade students were chosen from six classes. The students were divided into two groups: an experimental group, which received a CoRe-based density unit lesson, and a control group, which was taught based on traditional teaching method. The CoRe-based density unit classes consisted of 4 periods based on the analysis of the previous studies on CoRe about density. The results showed the meaningful significant difference between the CoRe-based classes and the classes based on traditional teaching method both in the posttest on the extent of the conceptual formation on the density and in the retention test. The difference suggests that the lesson with CoRe is based on the consideration of the difficulties and limitations students face in various fields such as the students themselves, teachers, learning environment, evaluation, etc. during their learning process and even in the types of preconception they have, and the CoRe-based lesson is centered around the best teaching strategies to solve such difficulties. As a result of the analysis on the experimental group's class satisfaction, it is revealed that the students with a high level of attitudes related science or with a high level of science achievement showed especially high satisfaction in their learning. Analysis of questionnaire survey showed that the students in the experimental group got the opportunity through CoRe-based lesson to stretch their thoughts and ideas in a free way and preferred a teaching method which didn't just show the concept, but allowed them to find it for themselves or which let them predict the solution and then confirm the result on their own and a lesson which encouraged their active participation.
