Education has been emphasized as one of tools of realizing social equality, which has its base on the ideology of equal education opportunity. The Opportunity level of adult education is important in the meaning of social equality. but these days It is being inequality. so The objectives of this study were 1) measuring the opportunity level of adult education in Korea, 2) analysing the difference adult education level by gender, regions, 3) making out the gap of the its level by social educational agencies, 4) to suggest the way to improve the opportunity level of adults educations between adults by gender, regions. The followings are the results from the study: Adult education participation level were lower. Adult education participation level per adult education type showed higher participation at private institutes, lower at cultural center of community and school's human and material resources are not properly utilized in adult educational activities. By adult education participation level per gender and location, women have a higher participation level then men, and urban areas have a higher participation level then rural areas. In case of location, environment variables is most explanatory in adult education participation level. To strive for methods to activate school-oriented adult education activities and to develop political solution to ease the resources gaps for adult education investment among regions in order not to deepen environment gaps of adult education between urban and rural areas. For adult education activation, institution and bodies in charge of adult education should expand and discover hardware and develop and distribute software. Also, adult education specialists who operate and manage these hardware and sofeware efficiently should be recruited.

This study identifies key determinants and types of participation in UCC Services. The research examines the how the major factors in perception of social presence, fun and entertainment, self-expression, arousal, human relations, positive feedback, information sharing, monetary business opportunity, and user friendliness of web structure contribute to participation in UCC Services. The data used in this study were collected by a web-based survey so that 629 internet users were available for analysis. Some of the practical implications of the results are follows. We have categorized that the type of people participating in UCC Services were readers, modifiers, remixers, and creators. Digital consumers directly connected with other consumers by producing their own digital contents. Multiple regression analysis among the creators group was not included due to small sample size. Self expression, fun and joy and the convenience of the web interface showed strong positive significant impacts on the UCC Service participation of all participation types. Information sharing, other's positive reputation and arousal showed a positive significant impact on the modifiers or remixers type groups. Monetary business opportunity and human relations were not significant in any UCC type group.

This work was designed for the Green Fund Aid 2004 of Korea Forest Service. It won the prize and has been constructed. We can have an opportunity to play a leading role in improving partnership with participation of local communities, promoting environmental education, and enhancing the environmental quality by constructing biotops in urban areas where energy flow in the ecosystem is not balanced. This design includes 'citizen participation process' and 'local community partnership' that is expected to promote local community participation in the process of design. This work suggests that biotope construction with citizen involvement and community partnership plays an important role not only in design items but also in the revitalization of local community. This sort of design process could not be fully achieved without cooperation with stakeholders - environmental specialists, local authorities, relevant societies, schools, teachers, parents of students.

Franchising is one of the most interesting areas of management research, attracting researchers and practitioners from all over the world. Many factors that drive franchising intention have been identified by previous researchers. They also demonstrated that there are numerous research gaps in this subject that must be filled. The primary goal of this study is to identify and test new factors of franchising intent. Finally, to clarify the role of these components, this study used the Motivation - Opportunity - Ability paradigm. To test the hypothesis, SmartPLS software was used to evaluate a total of 252 valid questionnaires collected from small and medium businesses in Hanoi, Vietnam. The findings revealed that franchisee motivation, franchisor support, and asset specificity have a positive impact on franchising intention. In whatever case, the opportunity has the greatest impact on participation intentions. In terms of the impact level on SMEs' intentions in the franchise system, ability comes in second. Furthermore, the moderating influence of franchisee asset specialization in the relationship between opportunity and franchising intention is confirmed by this study. This study examines the theoretical and practical contributions, as well as their limitations, and suggests some future research on the subject.

This thesis is based on an in-depth interview on participation experience of ten immigrants who reside in S Multi-cultural Family Support Center that is located in Gyeonggi-do in Korea Immigration & Integration Program(KIIP). The purpose of this research is to present through it's basic data for improvement in the operation of KIIP in the future by grasping participation process in KIIP that the immigrants have experienced, problems involved in their operation, and related requirements. Major results of the research are as follows: First, the motive for the immigrants' participation in KIIP was to acquire Korean nationality, learn Korean, and prepare for their future in Korea. Second, as a difficulty in participation in KIIP, access to educational institutions loomed large. Third, regarding improvements in the operation of KIIP, marriage immigrants needed to continue Korean language education, whereas other immigrants revealed a demand for opening evening classes or weekend classes. In the final analysis, it seems that for KIIP to provide an opportunity for the immigrants to have a vision for their life in the future, as well as for its realization in Korean society, policy-oriented institutional support that pays attention to their life situation and demands is badly needed.

이 연구는 성인학습자의 평생교육의식, 참여동기, 학습성과에 관한 구조적 관계를 알아보기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 연구대상은 대전광역시 5개구에서 운영 중인 평생교육기관에서 평생학습 프로그램에 참여중인 성인학습자 319명을 대상으로 자료를 수집하였다 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성인학습자의 평생교육의식은 학습성과에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 성인학습자의 평생교육의식은 참여동기에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 참여동기는 학습성과에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 성인학습자의 평생교육의식과 학습성과는 참여동기를 매개로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 학습성과에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 관련변인으로 평생교육의식, 참여동기가 영향력을 갖는 것으로 검증되었다. 이러한 결과는 평생교육의식 전환이 이루어져, 평생학습에 대한 참여동기가 부여되고, 학습성과 향상으로 이어져, 궁극적으로 평생학습 참여기회가 확대될 수 있음을 시사해준다.

한국은 '22년 하반기 한국형발사체(KSLV-2)는 2차 발사를 통해 최종 성공을 앞두고 있으며, 인공위성개발 능력은 이미 선진국 수준에 도달하였다. 이러한 발사체와 위성 기술 성숙 이후 향후 대한민국의 우주개발은 우주탐사와 우주활용으로, Hardware 기술개발에서 과학기술 임무개발로, 무인우주개발에서 유인우주개발로 패러다임이 전환되어야 한다. 최우선 전략은 국내 우주산업과 관련 국내 산업을 확대하고 고용을 창출하고, 핵심우주기술이 개발되어야 하며, 국민 편익과 안전에 도움이 되는 우주개발이어야 한다. 이를 위해 유인우주개발을 시작해야 하는데, 20년대 글로벌하게 추진될 국제공동 유인 달탐사(Gateway, Artemis)와 '30년대 유인 화성탐사는 한국의 우주산업 외연을 확장시키고 우주기술 수준을 획기적으로 향상시킬 수 있는 절호의 기회이다. 한국의 고유하고 독자적인 과학기술로서 도전적이며 지속적인 임무수행과 Hardware 기여로 참여하는 것이 필요하다. 또한 한국 우주인의 참여는 국민적 관심을 끌고 청소년에 도전정신과 꿈을 심어 줄 수 있으며, 또한 우주선진국으로 진입하는 계기가 되며 국가위상이 높아지는 효과도 기대할 수 있을 것이다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 국제공동 Artemis 계획의 현황과 향후 계획을 상세히 조사·분석하였고, 한국의 참여방안을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study is to seek a planning approach for children's museum within Korean context that promotes community participation. A literature review method and a field survey method were used. Literature reviews on community participation paradigm, residents' participation and donation networks in community regeneration processes, and finally on case studies on children's museum in Korea were carried out. Through the field survey on Chicago Children's Museum(CCM) located in downtown Chicago, its role was identified as networking systems of community participation and donation and was verified as a socio-physical base for vitalizing donation culture that is an active and a leading community participation method. As a result, CCM has engaged many partnerships with city organizations and local schools to provide diverse and unique programs that are not only targeted to children but also parents, teachers and visitors. Also, an evolution of CCM through various types of donations and community participation was delineated. CCM was found successfully in restoring community spirit and vitalizing economical growth where it once was a decayed city area. Rather than focusing on descriptive technique of typical children's museum, this study explored how community fabric is made and acted out, through rethinking community participation's value, and how it can influence a physical space. CCM, as a good example of community participatory museum, the results can be used as a reference in planning and directing community participation based children's museums in Korea. It is significant to shed light on children's museum as an opportunity of social space which can empower community.

본 연구는 고용가능성과 이에 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인된 리더-구성원 교환관계(Leader-Member Exchange: LMX), 역량개발기회참여, 그리고 주관적 경력성공 사이의 영향관계를 파악하는데 목적이 있다. 이러한 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해 최종적으로 수집된 257명의 응답자들로부터 수집된 자료를 통해 연구결과가 도출되었다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS(WIN20.0) 통계프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구변인들 사이의 상관관계를 파악하기 위해 Pearson의 적률상관계수가 산출되었으며, 고용가능성에 미치는 영향관계를 파악하기 위해 중다회귀분석(Multiple Regression Analysis)이 실시되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 고용가능성과 리더-구성원 교환관계, 역량개발기회참여, 그리고 주관적 경력성공 사이에는 유의미한 상관관계가 존재하는 것으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 역량개발기회는 전체 고용가능성 변인의 분산을 약 10%정도 설명하고 있는 것으로 파악되었으며, 이에 비해 리더-구성원 교환관계는 유의미한 영향력이 없는 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 논의와 후속연구를 위한 제언이 제공되었다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate American traditional values and American culture in English education. The understanding of American culture in English education requires the analysis of world changes in the global age. The history of American English, the formation of American society, and the background of natural environment are described in relation to the traditional American values of the earliest settlers, such as multi-culture, individual freedom, frontier heritage in the West, equality of opportunity and wealth and material abundance. Hence the case studies of students' project presentations on the American culture in English education exemplify the reflection of American traditional values in the current American life and society. It is concluded that project-based method with regard to cultural studies in English education reveals very positive learning effects by driving students' interests and active participation through the student-centered, creative, and cooperative project presentations.
