Research design, data, and methodology: To accomplish the purpose, 360 participants were sampled by means stratified cluster random sampling method. Only 317 questionnaires were statistically processed, while 43 questionnaires were excluded because their respondents failed to complete instrument and judged insincere in filling out questionnaire. To analyze the data collected, statistical techniques, such as descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, independent-sample t-test, and one-way ANOVA, multiple regression analysis were used, and as for difference verification between individual groups in relation to significant results, Duncan's multiple range was conducted. Results: The following results have been drawn out via hypothesis test. First. the background variable of the college sport club participants of was proved to affect the degree of their ego-resilience on the college adjustment. Specifically, their period of participation, frequency of participation and expenses made a statistically meaningful. Second, the college sport club participants of ego-resilience were proved to affect the college adjustment. Academic adjustment, social adjustment, personal-emotional adjustment and institutional attachment made a statistically meaning-full difference. • Moving sport tourism refers to travel that combines sport activity and tours to a particular destination. Although moving sport tourism is one of the fastest growing segments of the sport tourism industry, it is still lack of related-knowledge and academic studies. Hence, this study is conducted to explore the characteristics of moving sport tourism and to provide implications for sport tourism industry and future research. For this, ten participants who regularly participated in bicycle tours for the last 10 years were recruited for this study. The sample consisted of 9 males and 1 female. The average age of the participants was 44.6 years of which all but 2 had a full-time job. The average period of participating in bicycle tour was 7.9 years. For analysing data, content analysis approach was used. Interviews were tape recoded and data were multiple reviewed to identify the similar themes and to categorize them into conceptual constructs. Results suggest two requirements of moving sport tourism(moving and concurrent), three characteristics of moving sport tourism(self-directed, exploring, non-linear, purposive-riding, partial competitive, cultural touring) and two categories of moving sport tourism(full moving sport tourism and partial moving sport tourism). Implications for sport tourism industry and future studies were discussed.

  • Objective: This study aimed to investigate the effect of white noise on dynamic balance in patients with stroke during walking. Method: Nineteen patients with chronic stroke (age: 61.2±9.8 years, height: 164.4±7.4 cm, weight: 61.1±9.4 kg, paretic side (R/L): 11/8, duration: 11.6±4.9 years) were included as study participants. Auditory stimulus used white noise, and all participants listened for 40 minutes mixing six types of natural sounds with random sounds. The dynamic balancing ability was evaluated while all participants walked before and after listening to white noise. The variables were the center of pressure (CoP), the center of mass (CoM), CoP-CoM inclined angle. Results: There is a significant increase in the antero-posterior (A-P) CoP range, A-P inclination angle, and gait speed on the paretic and non-paretic sides following white noise intervention (p<.05). Conclusion: Our findings confirmed the positive effect of using white noise as auditory stimulus through a more objective and quantitative assessment using CoP-CoM inclination angle as an evaluation indicator for assessing dynamic balance in patients with chronic stroke. The A-P and M-L inclination angle can be employed as a useful indicator for evaluating other exercise programs and intervention methods for functional enhancement of patients with chronic stroke in terms of their effects on dynamic balance and effectiveness.

  • Physical education bodybuilders compete by means of external appearance, and more and more people are starting bodybuilding with an interest in improving their individual constitution and diet. However, some of the bodybuilders in sports for life started using banned substances to show off their appearance or to expect good results in bodybuilding competitions. Prohibited drugs only have a short-term positive effect on the subject, and the seriousness of side effects was greater when taking the drug for a long time. An education program that can provide professional education and information on drugs to bodybuilding athletes for life sports should be preceded, and a system that can check regular health should be introduced if necessary. A periodic doping education program for bodybuilders for sport for life is needed to focus on the positive changes in bodybuilding through banned substances and to educate and understand the side effects and damage to life that occur later. Therefore, in order to prevent doping, it is essential to educate various aspects of doping, and it is required to expand the scope not only to elite athletes but also to participants as sports for all

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the training and detraining effects of a 8-week water exercise on lower extremities coordination during obstacle gait in the female elderly. Eight elderly participants (age: $76.58{\pm}4.97$ yrs, height: $148.88{\pm}7.19$ cm, body mass: $56.62{\pm}6.82$ kg, and leg length: $82.36{\pm}2.98$ cm), who stayed at the Seoul K welfare center, were recruited for this study. All participants had no history of orthopedic abnormality within the past 1 year and completed the aquatic exercise program which lasted for 8 weeks. To identify the training and detraining effect of 8 weeks of water exercise, a 3-D motion analysis with 7 infrared cameras and one force plate sampling frequency set at 100 Hz and 1,000 Hz, respectively, was performed. A two-way ANOVA was performed to find training and detraining effects among diferent obstacle heights. In this study significant level was set at .05. Significant training effects of LTS (lead foot thigh and shank) coordination in all obstacle height were found (p<.05). It is also found that the training effect of LTS remained 37%, 58%, and 25% in obstacle height of 30%, 40%, and 50%, respectively. Lead foot showed the greater detraining effect of coordination compared with trail foot, and SF (shank and foot) coordination revealed better detraining effects of coordination compare with TS (thigh and shank) in both feet. Based on the findings, a 8 week water exercise give an positive effects to the elderly in terms of segment cooperation which potentially helps reducing their accident falls. The magnitude of detraining may also help the elderly to find the retraining moment.
