In order to verify the relationships and mediating effect, data were collected from 368 individuals in employees working in small and medium-sized firms at Gyeongnam region to test theoretical model and its hypotheses. All data collected from the survey were analyzed using with SPSS 18.0. This study reports findings as follows: first, the relationship between the learning orientation and the employee's self-efficacy is positively related. Second, there was also a positive correlation between the employee's self-efficacy and the innovation behaviors. Third, the relationship between the learning orientation and the innovation behaviors is positively related. Finally, the employee's self-efficacy played as a partial mediator on the relationship between learning orientation and innovation behaviors. Based on these findings, the implications and the limitations of the study were presented including some directions for future studies.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating effect of perceived appraisal support between neuroticism and occupational stress in firefighters. Methods: The subjects of this study were 156 firefighters who worked at three fire stations in G province in Korea. The collected data were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis using Baron and Kenny's method for mediation. Results: There were significant relationships between neuroticism and perceived appraisal support (r=.30, p<.001), neuroticism and occupational stress (r=.42, p<.001), and perceived appraisal support and occupational stress (r=.36, p<.001). Perceived appraisal support showed partial mediating effects in the relationship between neuroticism and occupational stress. Conclusion: The impact of neuroticism in firefighters was mediated by perceived appraisal support for occupational stress. This suggests that strategies for enhancing perceived appraisal support in fire fighters should be considered when developing neuroticism management interventions for decreasing their occupational stress.

This study aimed to investigate structural relationships between school support, technology use, and TPACK (Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge) among Mongolian secondary school teachers. This study was conducted with 208 secondary school teachers in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Data were collected through an instrument that measures three factors: teachers' use of technology, TPACK, and school support. The results indicate that TPACK has a partial mediation effect on the relationship between school support and the use of technology. The contribution of this study lies that it examines the complex relationships between internal and external factors affecting teachers' technology integration, especially among Mongolian teachers who are less researched in the existing literature.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of technology acceptance model (TAM) on behavioral intention in order to grasp the degree of technology acceptance on autonomous driving among the various factors that consumers perceive as unmanned vehicle system becomes commercialized. In addition to the mediating effect of perceived usefulness proposed by the existing TAM, this study proposed the perceived trust (PT) and hypothesized its mediating effect on behavioral intention to use the self-driving. Path anlaysis is adopted to investigate our hypothesis using the structural equation model. The sample used for the analysis was 149 valid data among 160 responses. The effects of total effect, direct effect, and indirect effect were confirmed by hypothesis test on mediating effect. Non-parametric bootstrapping analysis was also performed to confirm the robustness. All the hypotheses were significant and we found a partial indirect effect, which implies that mediation effect of PT on behavioral intention.

This study intends to investigate the main and mediating effects of abstinence efficacy on recovery of alcoholics considering the relationship with resilience. The survey was conducted upon 205 alcoholics. Collected data were analyzed by SEM (structural equation modeling) method using AMOS 7.0. The summary of the result is as follows. First, the model fit of partial mediation model which is including direct path of abstinence efficacy to recovery is better than full mediation model. Second, direct effects of abstinence efficacy and resilience on recovery are statistically significant. In conclusion, we could confirm the necessity of the program about resilience with program for enhancing abstinence efficacy to alcoholics.

  • Corporate social responsibility is a consistently discussed theme in many industries. Most corporations engage in CSR activities and now inform consumers in detail on what they have been doing for society. It has become a critical tool of consumer communication; however, little is known regarding the role of information transparency in the context of the fashion industry. This study discusses information transparency of fashion corporations which means revealing information regarding cost and garment making processes. The research proved that the higher consumers perceive a fashion brand's CSR performance (CSP), the more they think the provided CSR information is substantial; consequently, there is a favorable evaluation of the brand. The result provides insight regarding the relationship between CSP perception, perceived information substantiality, and brand evaluation. There was a significant partial mediation effect of perceived information substantiality. Moreover, the moderated mediation effect of information transparency appeared significant on the impact of CSP perception for brand evaluation via CSR information substantiality. The process model 7 was used as an analytical tool. The results of this study implies the importance of information transparency in the fashion industry context in the digital era.
