상정사고를 고려한 배전용 변전소 신,증설 계획 수립 (Planning for Construction and Expanding of Distribution Substation Considering Contingency)

  • This paper presents algorithm to plan construction and expanding of substation considering contingency accidents by proposing utilization factor according to configuration of substation bank system. In this paper, firstly, proper sphere of supply area by each district which could be standardized with respect to its supply capacity is established under assumption of long term load forecasting. Secondly, goal of utilization ratio based on configuration of substation bank was set to keep reliability by remaining sound bank when it happen to one bank accidents. Finally, it is set up for optimal construction and expanding of substation considering economy and reliability simultaneously about substation to exceed these ratio. To verify proposed algorithm, at first, after adopting a part of Kangnam area in Seoul as area for testing, it is divided into several regions for this area according to power branches of power utility. Secondly, by deriving correlation factor between load demand and economic indicators in these region respectively, the regional load forecasting was performed with economic growth and city plan scenario. Finally, based on the predicted load demand by region and land use data which is identified from air-photographic, the load demand by district was predicted. Also, planning for substation considering contingency is formulated to expand taking into account computing utilization factor which is based on configuration of substation bank respectively.

  • In this paper, we have developed bus load forecasting system (BUSLOF) based on Windows 95. It has been developed for the secure operation of electric power system. It forecasts regional load and bus load using regional distribution factor(RDF) and bus distribution factor (BDF) which are calculated from bus load in the past. It is equipped with graphic user interface(GUI) which enables a user to easily access to the system. The performance of the developed system is estimated in sample data.

  • Recently, the power load is growing larger and because of the environmental limitation of generation, the expansion of generation facilities are becoming more difficult. For that reason the importance of the demand-side resources come to be higher. One method of the demand-side resource, the DLC Program, has executed, and moreover, the loads which are available to be controlled are increasing. It should be considered of some kinds of power system components such as DLCs, because the fact that using the demand resources will be an important part of the power system. This paper considers the power factor of the load-bus which is shedded in the direct load control program. and then analyze the power system using flow sensitivity and voltage sensitivity. In this paper, we assumed two scenarios through the rank of the load power factor at each bus and to compare and evaluate each case, we used Power World for the simulation.

  • Most of the pile's vertical static load tests in construction sites are the proof load tests, which is difficult to accurately estimate the ultimate bearing capacity and analyze the reliability of piles. Therefore, a reliability analysis method based on the proof load-settlement (Q-s) data is proposed in this study. In this proposed method, a simple ultimate limit state function based on the hyperbolic model is established, where the random variables of reliability analysis include the model factor of the ultimate bearing capacity and the fitting parameters of the hyperbolic model. The model factor M = RuR / RuP is calculated based on the available destructive Q-s data, where the real value of the ultimate bearing capacity (RuR) is obtained by the complete destructive Q-s data; the predicted value of the ultimate bearing capacity (RuP) is obtained by the proof Q-s data, a part of the available destructive Q-s data, that before the predetermined load determined by the pile test report. The results demonstrate that the proposed method can easy and effectively perform the reliability analysis based on the proof Q-s data.

인장시험과 유한요소해석으로 구한 파단 진변형률을 이용한 진응력-진변형률 선도 획득 (Acquirement of True Stress-strain Curve Using True Fracture Strain Obtained by Tensile Test and FE Analysis)

  • 본 연구에서는 인장시험 및 유한요소해석으로 재료의 파단 진변형률을 구하고, 궁극적으로 재료의 진응력-진변형률을 얻는 방법을 제안했다. 먼저 인장시험으로 얻은 응력-변형률 선도를 네킹점에서 선형 외삽해, 초기 진응력-진변형률 곡선을 설정하고, 이를 유한요소해석에 채택했다. 유한요소해석 후 Bridgman 계수 및 평판 수정계수들을 사용해, 단축 상태의 하중-진변형률 선도를 얻어 파단진변형률을 실험-해석적으로 구했다. 이 예측 파단진변형률의 실험치 대비 오차는 3% 미만이다. 이렇게 구한 파단 진변형률과 이에 상응하는 파단진응력을 구해 파단점을 결정한다. 이어 네킹점과 결정한 파단점을 연결하는 네킹 후 진응력-진변형률 선형선도를 확보하고, 이를 네킹 전의 실험선도와 결합해 최종적으로 재료의 진응력-진변형률 선도를 완성했다. 본 연구에서 제시한 실험-해석적 진응력-진변형률 곡선 획득 방법은 SS400 평판시편과 같이 파단면적 측정이 어려운 경우, 그 유용함이 배가된다.

필렛용접이음부의 응력집중계수에 관한 연구 (A Study on Stress Concentration Factor at Fillet Welded Joint)

  • 용접이음부재에서 피로강도에 큰 영향을 미치는 용접부의 응력집중계수를 추정하였다. 여기서는 하중전달형 십자필렛용접이음부를 그 대상으로 하였다. 필렛용접이음부에서 토우파괴를 일으키는 피로균열발생부인 용접토우부의 응력집중계수를 구하기 위해 인장하중하에서 토우부의 적정 요소 크기를 검토하고 여러 파라메타들의 값을 변화시켜 유한요소 응력해석을 수행하였다. 즉 용접토우부의 형상인 토우각 및 곡률반경의 영향과 용입부족부 길이의 변화를 동시에 고려한 응력집중계수를 정량적으로 구하였다. 그리고 그 결과를 이용하여 응력집중계수 추정식을 유도하였다.

Deflection ductility of RC beams under mid-span load

  • Ductility is very important parameter in seismic design of RC members such as beams where it allows RC beams to dissipate the seismic energy. In this field, the curvature ductility has taken a large part of interest compared to the deflection ductility. For this reason, the present paper aims to propose a general formula for predicting the deflection ductility factor of RC beams under mid-span load. Firstly, the moment area theorem is used to develop a model in order to calculate the yield and the ultimate deflections; then this model is validated by using some results extracted from previous researches. Secondly, a general formula of deflection ductility factor is written based on the developed deflection expressions. The new formula is depended on curvature ductility factor, beam length, and plastic hinge length. To facilitate the use of this formula, a parametric study on the curvature ductility factor is conducted in order to write it in simple manner without the need for curvature calculations. Therefore, the deflection ductility factor can be directly calculated based on beam length, plastic hinge length, concrete strength, reinforcement ratios, and yield strength of steel reinforcement. Finally, the new formula of deflection ductility factor is compared with the model previously developed based on the moment area theorem. The results show the good performance of the new formula.

인장-전단하중을 받는 IB형 일점 Spot 용접이음재의 파괴역학적 피로강도 평가 (Fracture Mechanical Fatigue Strength Evaluation of IB-Type Spot Welded Lap Joint under Tension-Shear Load)

  • According as the member of the automobile body structure have been thinned their thickness and have become high strength, each part of the body structure has been put more severe stress condition. And, because fatigue strength of the spot welded lap joint is influenced by its geometrical and mechanical factors, welding condition and etc., there needs a quantitative and systematic evaluation method for them. In this study, by considering nugget edge of the spot weld part of the IB-type spot welded lap joint under tension-shear load to the ligament crack. fatigue strength of various IB-type spot welded lap joints was estimated with the stress intensity factor(S.I.F.) KIII which is fracture mechanical parameter. We could find that fatigue strength evaluation of the IB-type spot welded lap joints by KIII is more effective than the maximum principal stress ($\sigma$1max) at edge of the spot weld obtained from FEM analysis.

A new bridge-vehicle system part II: Parametric study

  • The formulation of a new bridge-vehicle system using shell with eccentric beam elements has been introduced in a companion paper (Part I). The new system takes into account of the contribution of the twisting and pitching modes of vehicles to the bridge responses. It can also be used to study the dynamic transverse load distribution of a bridge. This paper presents a parametric study on the impact induced by one vehicle or multi-vehicle running across a bridge using the proposed model. Several parameters were considered as variables including the mass ratio, the speed parameter, the frequency ratio and the axle spacing parameter to investigate their effects on the impact factor. A total number of 189 cases were carried out in this parametric study. Within the realistic range of vehicle considered, the maximum impact factors could be 2.24, 1.78 and 1.49 for bridges with spans 10 m, 20 m and 30 m respectively.

건축물의 비상전원 적용실태 및 자가발전설비의 안전 운전 모델에 관한 연구 (Analysis on Emergency Power Supplies in Buildings and a Model for Safe Operation of the Emergency Power System)

  • The purpose of this paper is to present a model for operating an emergency power system(EPS) that can secure a sufficient power supply used in case of a fire by analyzing the status of power supplies for emergency and firefighting operations. Investigations on the one of the causes of the operational failure of firefighting systems show evidence of EPS. Generally, when power to a building is interrupted, EPS supplies the emergency load(excepted firefighting load) first. When a power outage and a fire occur simultaneously, the EPS must be able to supply both the emergency load and the firefighting load, especially the firefighting load to the end. However, in order to save construction costs, emergency power generators in apartment, commercial, and business buildings can satisfy only one of the required loads. In cases like this, when a power outage and a fire occur simultaneously, there is a danger of firefighting equipment not operating due to insufficient power supply from the emergency generator. Therefore, an EPS must have a reserved firefighting power that can supply both the firefighting and the emergency load. Such EPS, when faced with a danger of an overload, will shut down the supply to all or part of the emergency load, thus securing a continuous power supply to the firefighting equipment. The generator power system with reserved firefighting power (RFP) will also have an indicator to show that the selective control is being used. General power generation systems for emergency load and firefighting load were found to have a demand factor of 50-60% with a lump. However, when installing an EPS, the builders must choose the higher demand factor suggested according to the official approval demand factor of the building.
