DC traction power system is operated ungrounded to minimize the stray current. This causes rail potential increase and makes hazardous condition to the person in touch with running rails. To prevent the hazardous condition, maximum allowable limits on rail potential rise are set by regulations in advanced foreign countries. In this paper, the simplified calculation methods for the rail potential rise and the stray currents are discussed.

This study was investigated the effects of near Infrared St ultrasound for collagen fiber in open wounded of rats skin. Each group was treated under the following conditions; group I was applied near IR , group II was applied 0.5 MHz continue wave US and group III was control group. The results were prominent in observation of scar tissue and of fibroblast infiltration of group I & II.

Purpose. The purpose of this study is to compare in vitro dissolution characteristics and bioavailability in beagle dog of a hard gelatine capsule containing erdosteine (Yuhan Erdosteine capsule$\^$TM/) with those of commercial product (Erdos capsule$\^$TM/). Methods. Yuhan Erdosteine capsule$\^$TM/ was prepared using erdosteine 300 mg, lactose, magnesium stearate, and others by powder filling method. The dissolution characteristics of Yuhan Erdosteine capsule$\^$TM/ and Erdos capsule$\^$TM/ were determined by USP dissolution apparatus 2. (omitted)

To take the Far-infrared(FIR) ray which is a optimized wavewlength and strength, at first, it is to be induced the characteristic algorithm and the computerized programing of FlR radiating materials. In this study, we induced that the formular of optimized FIR with physical, mathematical logic and theory, especially, Plank, Kirchhoff, Wien, Stefan-Boltzmann's logic and law. In the long run the formular was induced with mathematical integration. since we had to know the molecular wavelength. Base on the induced formular as above, we programmed the optimized FlR radiating computerized program, it would be useful to design semiconductor( VLSI) as the FlR instrument center control system.

Preventive maintenance(PM) is an action taken on a repairable system while it is still operating, which needs to be carried out in order to keep the system at the desired level of successful operation. The PM improves the reliability of the system by predicting the possible failures and thereby preventing such failures from its occurrence. In this paper, we develop the optimal preventive maintenance policies based on the aperiodic PM model. We investigate an aperiodic preventive maintenance policy and propose several optimal PM policies which minimize the expected cost over an infinite time span. Park, Jung and Yum(2000) determine the optimal period and the optimal number of PMs based on Canfield's(1986) periodic model. Our techniques to derive the optimal preventive maintenance policies based on our aperiodic PM model is similar to those in Park, Jung and Yum(2000), which can be considered as the special case of our results.

Automatic change detection based on the vector-to-raster comparison is hard especially in high-resolution image. This paper proposes a method to designate roads in high-resolution image in sequential manner using the information from vector map in which Hough transform is used for reliability. By its linearity, the road of urban areas in a vector map can be easily parameterized. Following some pre-processing to remove undesirable objects, we obtain the edge map of raster image. Then the edge map is transformed to a parameter space to find the selected road from vector map. The comparison is done in the parameter space to find the best matching. The set of parameters of a road from vector map is treated as the constraints to do matching. After designating the road, we may overlay it on the raster image for precise monitoring. The results can be used for detection of changes in road object in a semi-automatic fashion.

In this paper, we estimated the Ricci curvature and the scalar curvature on SU(3)/T (k, l) under the condition (k, l) ${\in}\mathbb{R}^2$ (${\mid}k{\mid}+{\mid}l{\mid}{\neq}0$), where the four isotropy irreducible representations in SU(3)/T (k, l) are, not necessarily, mutually equivalent or inequivalent.

In this paper, we obtain a necessary and sufficient condition for a left invariant connection in the tangent bundle over a closed Lie group with a left invariant metric to be a Yang-Mills connection. Moreover, we have a necessary and sufficient condition for a left invariant connection with a torsion-free Weyl structure in the tangent bundle over SU(2) with a left invariant Riemannian metric g to be a Yang-Mills connection.

As the internet dramatically grows, internet electronic commerce is being increased. But, as products distributed with ESD(Electronic Software Distribution) are in the form of electronic file, it is difficult to prohibit illegal copy of products. Therefore, new technology is needed to distinguish legal products from illegal ones. In this paper, we present the ESD's requirements, characteristics and a new dynamic license management technology to prevent illegal copy.

We study a mathematical modeling for development of film negative and concentrate the bulk reaction problem. We prove nonnegativeness of developer, coupler and dye function in two dimensional case. Also we prove stability of our numerical scheme. Finally, we discuss numerical example which have specified constants.
