병렬권선 운전시 SRM의 부하분담 특성에 관한 연구 (The Study on the Characteristics of the Load Sharing in SRM with the Parallel Operation of Phase Winding)

  • SRM의 구동에 있어 전류정격은 스위칭 소자의 정격과 직결되고 경제적인 측면에서 적은 정격전류 스위칭 소자를 이용하여 구동하기 위해서는 스위칭 소자의 병력운전이 필수적이다. 스위칭 소자의 병렬 운전시 스위칭 소자의 전류분담을 균일하기 위해서 제조업체의 기술자료를 중심으로 많은 연구가 이루어졌으나, 아직도 실용화하기 위해서는 많은 문제를 앉고 있다. 스위칭 소자의 병력운전은 스위치의 특성 즉, 전류에 대한 상이한 포화전압이 그 근본적인 원인이 되고 있다. 이를 보상하기 위해서 스위칭 소자에 직렬로 적당한 저항값을 삽입하는 방법이 있지만 이 방법은 근본적인 대책이 될 수 없다. 본 논문에서는 스위칭 소자의 포화전압과 같은 파라메터가 전류분담에 영향을 미치지 않는 새로운 병렬운전기법인 상권선 병력운전기법 제안하였다.

  • In a motor drive, the current rating is directly related to the rating of a switching device, and the parallel switching operation for a cost reduction is the alternatives because it has the smaller current rating through current division. There are many investigations for the parallel switching operations to equaling the current division. However it remains many problems for practical usage. This paper proposes a new parallel operation which uses a parallel phase winding to remove the traditional effect of switching device such as saturation voltage according to the division of current. The proposed strategy is verified by theoretical and experimental results.

  • To apply the Power MOSFET to the high powerd circuits, the parallel operation of the Power MOSFET must be considered because of their low power rating. This means, in practical applications, design methods for the parallel operations are required. However, it is very difficult to investigate the problem of parallel operations by directly changing the internal parameters of the MOSFET. Thus, in this paper, the effects of internal parameters for the parallel operation are investigated using SPICE program which is often used and known that the program is very reliable. The investigation results show that while the gate resistance and gate capacitances are the parameters which affect to the dynamic switching operations, the drain and source resistances are the parameters which affect to the steady-state current unbalances. Through this investigation, the design methods for the parallel operation of the MOSFET are suggested, which, in turn, contributes to the practical use of Power MOSFETs.

In order to compensate this problem, a proper resistance is experimently inserted to the switching device. But this method can not be the optimal solution. Therefore this paper proposes a new parallel operation which uses a parallel phase winding to remove the traditional effect of switching device such as saturation voltage according to the division of current. Also the reliable and stable driving is improved through experiments and the detailed principles.

  • 삼상 소프트 스위칭 응용을 위한 새로운 유사병렬 공진형 DC-link 인버터를 제안한다. 제안된 인버터의 기존의 공진형 인버터의 단점인 전압 Stress와 PWM 제한 문제를 단지 하나의 추가 스위칭 소자를 사용하여 해결할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 제안된 인버터의 동작모드 분석을 통하여 회로의 동작을 자세히 설명하고 공진소자의 설계방법을 제안한다. 마지막으로 실험을 통하여 제안된 인버터의 타당성을 검증한다.

  • Due to high power ratings and low conduction loss, the IGBT has become more attractive in high power applications. However, its slower characteristics than those of MOSFET cause severe switching losses and switching frequency limitation. This paper proposes the IGBT's soft switching concept with the help of MOSFET, where each of the IGBT and MOSFET plays its role during on-periods and switching instants. Also, the switching losses are analyzed by using the linearized modeling and the modeling and the operations of a converter are investigated to confirm the soft switching of IGBT's.

A Harmonic Circulation Current Reduction Method for Parallel Operation of UPS with a Three-Phase PWM Inverter

  • In a parallel operation of UPS, there are two types of circulating currents between UPS. One is the low order circulating current with a fundamental frequency caused by the amplitude and phase differences of UPS output voltages, and the other is the harmonic circulating current with PWM switching frequency caused by non-synchronized PWM waveforms among UPS. The elimination of the low order circulating current is essential for optimal load sharing in parallel operations of UPS, which can be accomplished by the phase and magnitude control at each UPS. The harmonic circulating current may cause troubles and deteriorate in performance of the controller for optimal load sharing in parallel operation of UPS. This paper presents a PWM synchronizing method to eliminate the harmonic circulation current in parallel operation of UPS. The effectiveness of the proposed scheme has been investigated and verified through experiments by a 50kVA UPS.
