공진형 인버터의 개성에 관한 연구 (A Study on teh Improvement of Resonant Inverter)

  • In this paper the conventional resonant inverters are compared and a novel parallel resonant dc pulse inverter for high performance motor drive system is proposed. The design method and related equations for the novel resonant inverter are derived. Also, a current controller for the resonant inverter is proposed and compared with PI current controller of the conventional PWM inverter by analog simulation. The novel resonant inverter and the current controller are implemented to verify the suggested design principles. The analog simulation and the experimental results shown the satisfactory operation of the proposed inverter and the controller.

Design of Group Delay Time Controller Based on a Reflective Parallel Resonator

  • In this paper, a group delay time controller (GDTC) is proposed based on a reflection topology employing a parallel resonator as the reflection termination. The design equations of the proposed GDTC have been derived and validated by simulation and experimental results. The group delay time can be varied by varying the capacitance and inductance at an operating frequency. To show the validity of the proposed circuit, an experiment was performed for a wideband code division multiple access downlink band operating at 2.11 GHz to 2.17 GHz. According to the experiment, a group delay time variation of $3{\pm}0.17$ ns over bandwidth of 60 MHz with excellent flatness is obtained.

  • In the paralleled converter module with peak current mode control, current imbalance appears when the voltage controllers with integral control of converter module are not exactly identical. In this paper, the voltage controller is designed to equal the current command of each converter module using the current command bus. The current balance controller is also proposed to balance the average currents of converter modules with imbalaced inductance. It is designed to have good transient response. Proposed method is implemented with the paralleled 2-module and 4-module boost converters with imbalanced inductance. Experimental results verify the performance of current share during both steady and transient states of converter.

  • It is not yet possible to solve the optimal number of neurons in hidden layer at neural networks. However, it has been proposed and proved by experiments that there is a limit in increasing the number of neuron in hidden layer, because too much incrememt will cause instability,local minima and large error. This paper proposes a module neural controller with pattern recognition ability to solve the above trade-off problems and to obtain fast learning convergence speed. The proposed neural controller is composed of several module having Multi-layer Perrceptron(MLP). Each module have the less neurons in hidden layer, because it learns only input patterns having a similar learning directions. Experiments with six joint robot manipulator have shown the effectiveness and the feasibility of the proposed the parallel module neural controller with pattern recognition perceptron.

  • This research is conducted to develop an automatic steering system for parallel parking, and the performance of the system was evaluated by parallel parking a conventional vehicle. The automatic steering system consisted of MDPS (motor driven power steering) to control steering, ESC (electronic stability control) to acquire wheel speed, ultrasonic sensors to recognize the parking space, and a controller to communicate and handle data. The parallel parking process using the automatic steering control consisted of parking space recognition, parking path generation, and parking path tracking. The path for parallel parking was generated based on a kinematic model of a conventional vehicle, and a PI controller was used to control the steering angle for path tracking. Parallel parking using the automatic steering control was conducted according to vehicle speed conditions. The results show that the errors on the x-axis and y-axis were below 0.54 m and 0.14 m, respectively, and the error on the steering angle was less than $1^{\circ}$. Therefore, it is possible to implement parallel parking using an automatic steering control system for conventional vehicles.

  • This paper proposes a Mamdani fuzzy PID controller for controlling a process with small dead time. The controller composes of a parallel structure of fuzzy PI controller and fuzzy PD controller. Each controller has two inputs, error and change of error. Hence, the control signal of the proposed controller is the average value of the output of the fuzzy PI and PD controllers. The Mamdani fuzzy PID controller is easily to be adjusted to meet the desired control system performances both in transient state and steady state. The simulation results of the proposed Mamdani fuzzy PID controller by using the same parameters (proportional gain, integral time and derivative time) as the conventional PID controller are shown.   • A piezoelectric actuator is widely used in precision positioning applications due to its excellent positioning resolution. However, the piezoelectric actuator lacks in repeatability because of its inherently high hysteresis characteristic between voltage and displacement. In this paper, a controller is proposed to compensate the hysteresis nonlinearity. The controller is composed of a PID and a neural network part in parallel manner. The output of the PID controller is used to teach the neural network controller by the unsupervised learning method. In addition, the PID controller stabilizes the piezoelectric actuator in the beginning of the learning process, when the neural network controller is not learned. However, after the learning process the piezoelectric actuator is mainly controlled by the neural netwok controller. In this paper, the excellent tracking performance of the proposed controller was verified by experiments and was compared with the classical PID controller.

  • This paper presents a nonlinear controller design for optical disk drive systems to improve anti-shock performance. The nonlinear anti-shock controller is added parallel to the original linear servo control loop. In the previous work, dead-zone nonlinear element is used for nonlinear controller and PID control method is used for linear controller. Although this strategy improves anti-shock performance, it has a narrow stability bound. In this paper, we propose dead-zone with saturation nonlinear element for the nonlinear controller. Since this nonlinear element improves stability margin, we can use higher gain of dead-zone than the controller with dead-zone only. In the linear controller design, we show that lead-lag control has improved stability margin over PID control. Numerical simulation results show that the proposed method can get better performance to the external shock than previously proposed method.

  • The PID controller is widely used due to its fast response and robustness. But its performance is not so good compared with modem controllers such as adaptive, robust, fuzzy, neural controller. Therefore, it is natural to replace PID controller by modem controllers. But, the problem is that modem controller can not be easily applied to the real time process. Hence, this paper proposes such a structure that PID controller and Self-Learning Fuzzy Controller(SLFC) are in parallel with each other. The parameter of SLFC will be updated by gradient descent method using neuro - identifier. The usefulness of this hybrid controller will be proved by simulation results.

Investigation of PID Fuzzy Controller for Output Voltage Regulation of Current-Doubler-Rectified Asymmetric Half-Bridge DC/DC Converter

  • This paper investigates a PID fuzzy controller for output voltage regulation of a current-doubler-rectified asymmetric half-bridge (CDRAHB) DC/DC converter. The controller is a PD-type fuzzy controller in parallel with a linear integral controller. The PD type fuzzy controller is for providing the varying gain at the different operating conditions to regulate the output voltage. The linear integral controller is for removing the steady-state error of the output voltage. In order to show the outstanding dynamic characteristics of the proposed controller, PSIM simulation studies are carried out and compared to the results for which the conventional loop gain design method is used.
