폐유지류를 중심으로 한 도포제 종류 및 도포시기 변화가 혼화재 다량치환 콘크리트의 탄산화 및 염해저항성에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Painting Materials based on Wasted Oil and Applying Timing on Carbonation and Chloride Resistances of High Volume SCM Concrete)

  • 본 연구는 폐유지류를 중심으로 한 도포제 종류 및 도포시기에 따른 혼화재 다량치환 콘크리트의 탄산화 및 염해저항성에 미치는 영향에 관하여 실험 연구한 것이다. 즉 내구성 향상방안으로서, 도포시기를 탈형 즉시와 28일 수중양생후의 변화를 주고 도포제는 Plain인 Control을 포함한 ERCO(유화처리정제유지류), RCO(정제유지류), WR(발수제), ERCO+WR의 5가지 수준에 대하여 비교 실험을 실시하였다. 실험결과 도포시기에 따른 탄산화 및 내염해 저항성의 경우 28일 수중양생 후 도포의 경우 탄산화 및 염화물 침투 깊이가 감소하는 것을 알 수 있었고, 또한, 도포제는 ERCO, RCO, ERCO+WR, WR의 순으로 탄산화 및 염화물 침투깊이가 늦게 진행되어, 특히 ERCO의 도포가 탄산화 및 염화물 억제효과에 가장 우수한 것을 알 수 있었다.

  • In this study, numerical simulations and performance evaluation has been carried out to investigate performance characteristics of air-type high pressure piston pump. ANSYS and CFX were applied for analyzing the structure and flow behavior of air-type high pressure piston pump, respectively. The performance evaluation of high pressure piston pump was performed experimentally, the results were compared with simulation. It was found that the freezing phenomenon was improved by 20% and the pressure fluctuation decreased by 50%, compared with the previous pump.

Hygroscopicity and Ultraviolet (UV) Deterioration Characteristics of Finished Woods

  • This study investigated the hygroscopicity and UV deterioration characteristics of 3 domestic and 4 imported woods using natural oil, stain, and varnish paints. In terms of hygroscopicity, it was found that the hygroscopicity of the painted wood was lower than that of the unpainted wood, and that as the number of coatings increased, the hygroscopicity decreased. In terms of anti-absorption, oil-based chemical paints showed higher resistance than water-based paints, and natural oils showed results comparable to oil-based paints. As for the UV deterioration, the amount of color change of the painted wood was lower than that of the unpainted wood, and there was no significant difference according to the number of times of painting. The amount of color change was found to be low in oil-based paints and hardwoods. Through this study, we confirmed effective moisture blocking and small color changes during painting using paints, and it is believed that wood can be protected from internal and external defects through selective and efficient painting based on data for excellent painting performance.

고구려 고분벽화에 나타난 놀이복식 (Play Costume from the Mural Paintings of Goguryeo)

  • The culture of the play of Korean ancient times is well described in the mural painting of Goguryeo. The example is people appearing in the play painting of performance, dance, hunting, and acrobatics out of 20 mural painting of genre. Their costume is broadly classified into performance, dance, hunting, and acrobatic costume and can be subdivided according to the types of costume. First, the head gear of play costume reflected the formality and social conditions of play. In the performance and hunting costume, all performers wore gwanmo(official hats), which seemed to make it a rule to wear gwanmo. Gwanmo was borrowed intactly from Goguryeo without any changes or decorations, which showed that the status symbolism of head gear was applied intactly to play costume. Second, the play costume of Goguryeo enhanced efficiency by blending daily costume with elements and decorations needed for play performance. Specifically the change of length was prominent: the short sleeves of jeogori(traditional blouse), the long sleeves of dance costume, and fastening below the knee or putting into the long shoes to shorten the length of baji(traditional pants). Finally, as it is well known that there was some differences in the expression modes of daily clothes in Goguryeo between Tonggu and Pyeongyang. Similarly, play costume tried to change costume according to the subject of play but maintained the locality and peculiarity of Goguryeo costume. Although performance costume showed many local differences, it also had similarity and peculiarity. In dance costume, long sleeves and patterns which frequently appeared in the Tonggu area reappeared in the Pyeongyang.

  • Recently, a re-painting robot was developed to semi-automatically conduct blasting work in bridge spaces to improve work productivity and worker safety. In this study, a vision sensor-based monitoring module was developed to automatically move the re-painting robot along the path. The monitoring module provides direction information to the robot by analyzing the boundary between the painting surface and the metal surface. To stably measure images in unstable environments, various techniques for improving image visibility were applied in this study. Then, the driving performance was verified in a similar environment.

  • In this Paper, the estimation method of painting process in the automobile plant using computer simulation techniques is studied to improve the bottle neck process, the weak point and the productivity. For model and analysis, Promodel is used which is a manufacturing oriented simulation software developed by Promodel corporation in the U.S.A. Firstly the result of the simulation shows that we can obtain capability improvement in the system performance using computer simulation. Secondly, the optimum system specification is decided by comparing reports generated by scenario in simulation program find out the suitable conditions. Finally, the speed of conveyor and a pitch of painting body as the most critical parameters are chosen on the basis of exhaustive field evaluation to study their effects o the capacity of the process. The best alternative condition for the maximum capacity of the process is selected by computer simulation.

표면처리방법에 따른 강교용 일반중방식도장계의 열화진행수명 평가 (Evaluation of Deterioration Propagation Life of Steel Bridge Paints According to Surface Treatment Methods and Heavy-Duty Painting Types)

  • 본 연구에서는 강교량용 일반중방식 도장계열의 신설 도장계 및 재도장계의 내구수명 예측과 도막 열화곡선을 검토하기 위하여 표면처리방법과 도장 종류를 변수로 총 12종류의 도장 시험편에 대하여 실내 부식촉진시험을 실시하였다. 표면처리는 신설(공장도장)과 재도장(현장도장)에 따라 수공구 (SSPC SP-2), 동력공구 (SP-3), 블라스트 처리(SP-10)를 적용하였다. 도장 시험편은 ISO 20340 부식환경 조건에서 실시하였으며, 각 도장계별 열화곡선은 초기결함으로부터 발생된 부풂 및 녹 면적을 기준으로 평가되었다. 또한 대기 부식성 범주와 강재 내구 성능평가 기준을 이용하여 신설 및 보수 도장계의 내구수명을 실험적으로 평가하였다. 그 결과 표면처리 방법에 따른 신설 도장계와 재도장계의 내구수명을 정량적으로 평가하였으며, 대기부식성 등급 C4에서 일반중방식 신설 도장계의 내구수명은 18 ~ 21년, 재도장계는 5.3 ~ 8.0년으로 추정된다.

한국 사찰벽화 채색층 고착처리제 적용 연구 (A Study on Painting Layer Fixative Processing of Mural Paintings of Buddhist Temples in Korea)

  • 과거 국내 사찰벽화 보존처리는 유공성과 친수성의 특성을 고려한 재료선정이나 적합성에 대한 연구가 미흡한 상황에서 유럽의 재료 및 공법이 적용되었다. 그리고 합성수지를 사용하여 채색층 고착처리가 이루어진 벽화들은 현재까지 만족스럽지 못한 결과들이 나타나고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 보존처리 효과를 규명하고자 사찰벽화 채색층 보강에 사용되는 고착제를 선별하여 고착처리 적용연구를 실시하였다. 고착제의 점도와 접착력 그리고 침투상태의 관계성을 파악한 결과 대부분 점도가 높은 시료에서 접착력이 증가하였고, 저점도의 시료에서는 접착력이 낮게 측정되었다. 시료별 고착제의 침투상태는 유사하지만 채색층과 토양 마감면의 상응 및 결합반응은 큰 차이점이 있는 것을 발견할 수 있었다. 동물성 아교와 MC의 경우, 채색층을 포함하여 토양과의 고착반응이 우수한 것으로 보이며, 토양과 견고하게 결속되어 안정적인 고착효과를 나타내는 것으로 판단된다. 합성수지계인 PVAc와 아크릴수지는 침투는 원활하지만, 토양과의 고착반응은 효과가 떨어지는 것으로 보인다.

  • In this paper, the authors consider a robot motion control to cope with painting, welding jobs and etc. Especially, a method for easy recognition and regeneration of the robot motions made by the operator is proposed. The method is based on the process of accurate modelling, controller design and experimental evaluation. In this study, the model and controller for all motions are obtained individually, where the control system is designed on the robust control framework. And the experiment result with good control performance is presented.

Development of the Limit Switch Box for a Ship and Its Performance Evaluation against Salt Water

  • A limit switch box is used for an indicator of a valve actuator. This device indicates an opening and closing of a valve or a throttle in the valve actuator. In a ship, equipments require safety and robustness because of a rough environment and a specific condition during a voyage. However, the limit switch box has been used in an indoor environment generally. This study developed a new limit switch box which can be used at an outdoor environment. This study designed the new limit switch box. The housing of the limit switch box was made by an aluminum die cast method with surface painting after anodizing or chromate coating. In order to evaluate the endurance of the housing, the endurance tests against salt water have been conducted. Experiment results showed that the proposed device provides a reliable performance against salt water.
