Research on AI Painting Generation Technology Based on the [Stable Diffusion]

  • With the rapid development of deep learning and artificial intelligence, generative models have achieved remarkable success in the field of image generation. By combining the stable diffusion method with Web UI technology, a novel solution is provided for the application of AI painting generation. The application prospects of this technology are very broad and can be applied to multiple fields, such as digital art, concept design, game development, and more. Furthermore, the platform based on Web UI facilitates user operations, making the technology more easily applicable to practical scenarios. This paper introduces the basic principles of Stable Diffusion Web UI technology. This technique utilizes the stability of diffusion processes to improve the output quality of generative models. By gradually introducing noise during the generation process, the model can generate smoother and more coherent images. Additionally, the analysis of different model types and applications within Stable Diffusion Web UI provides creators with a more comprehensive understanding, offering valuable insights for fields such as artistic creation and design.

독일 신표현주의와 중국 현대 수묵의 상통성 (The commonality between German Neo-expressionism and Chinese Modern ink painting)

  • 독일 신표현주의와 중국 현대 수묵은 지리적으로 멀리 떨어진 두 나라에서 시작됐으나, 등장한 시기가 유사하며 서로 공통되는 부분이 많다.창작 태도 측면에서 두 풍격의 예술가들은 모두 외래 풍격을 받아들이고 저항하며 과거로 회귀하고 전통을 초월하여 포스트모던의 불확실성을 함께 드러내고 있다. 표현 형식 측면에서 보면, 두 화풍이 그리는 대상은 모두 형상을 갖추고 있으나 사실적이지는 않으며, 매개의 재료 특성을 활용하는 것을 중요하게 여긴다. 정신적 함의 측면에서 보면, 신표현주의와 현대 수묵은 모두 사회적 관심사를 중시하고, 상통하며 유동적인 현대성을 지닌다. 독일 신표현주의와 중국 현대 수묵의 상통성은 차이점을 지우자는 것이 아니라 차이점과 공통점이 공존할 수 있도록 해야 한다는 것이다.

소치(小癡) 허련(許鍊)의 회화(繪畵) 연원(淵源)과 심미경지(審美境地) 고찰 (A Study on the Sochi Heo Ryeon's Painting's foundation and the stage of Aesthetic)

  • 조선 말기 진도(珍島) 출신의 소치(小癡) 허련(許鍊)(1808~1893)은 시(詩) 서(書) 화(畵) 삼절작가(三絶作家)로서, 호남 화단의 실질적 종조(宗祖)라 불리운 대표적 화가이다. 초의선사(艸衣禪師)로부터 유(儒) 불(佛) 도(道)와 함께 회화의 기초를 배웠고, 초의(艸衣)의 소개로 추사(秋史) 김정희(金正喜)의 문하생이 되었다. 이후 추사(秋史)의 문인지향적(文人指向的) 서화정신과 화이재도적(畵以載道的) 회화심미를 정확히 이해하고 이를 계승하였다. 그의 생애와 예술활동의 특징은 70이 넘은 만년(晩年)까지 지속된 주유(周遊)와 다작(多作) 활동, 그리고 주유(周遊) 기간의 세부사항까지 서술한 "소치실록(小癡實錄)"의 기록이다. 소치(小癡)는 사의적(寫意的) 남종화(南宗畵)를 지향하여 예황풍(倪黃風)의 산수화에서 자유분방한 갈필(渴筆)과 소산간일(蕭散簡逸)한 충담미(沖澹美)를 발현하였다. 또한, '허목란(許牧丹)'이라 불리울 만큼 운필변용(運筆變容)의 생동미(生動美)를 자아내는 모란은 괴석(怪石)을 함께 그려 부귀공명(富貴功名)에 대한 욕망과 문사적(文士的) 취향을 동시에 만족시켰고, 이후 가전(家傳)되어 '운임산방(雲林山房)'의 대표적 화목(畵目)이 되었다. 그의 토착화된 화풍(畵風)과 회화(繪畵) 심미(審美)는 200여년의 5대(代) 직계(直系) 화맥(畵脈)을 형성하여 지금까지 현대 한국화단에 큰 영향을 끼치고 있다.

Paint booth volatile organic compounds emissions in an urban auto-repair center

  • A major concern regarding most auto-repair shops in residential areas is the emission of odorous volatile organic compounds (VOCs) into the local atmosphere, especially during painting operations. VOCs contribute to poor local air quality and are responsible for the perceived odor and discomfort experienced by local residents. Sixteen major VOCs (6 aromatic hydrocarbons and 10 aliphatic carbonyl compounds) were selected as potential target compounds. The site was an auto-repair shop located in a central region of Seoul, South Korea, where the air quality of the site has been a subject of residents' complaints. The sampling points were as follows: 1) in the painting booth with new (NB) or old (OB) removal system, (2) in the exhaust duct after new (ND) or old (OD) odor removal filter, and (3) 2 m below the discharge vent (4 m above the ground) (outdoor air, OA). Each sample was coded: (1) before painting (BP), (2) during painting (DP), and (3) after painting (AP). The toluene level in the duct with the new removal filter during painting (ND-DP) was 1.5 ppm (v/v), while it was 3.8 ppm (v/v) in the right duct with an old removal filter during painting (OD-DP). Accordingly, the effect of filter replacement was reflected by differences in VOC levels. Therefore, accurate monitoring of odorous VOCs is an important step to reduce odor nuisance from local sources.

고려시대 칠기에 나타난 묘금기법 연구 (A Study on Investigation of Gold Painting Technique in the Lacquerwares of Goryeo)

  • 고려시대의 칠기는 10세기 초에서 14세기에 이르는 동안 다양하게 변화하였으며 화려한 전성기를 이루고 독창성이 돋보이는 나전칠기로 발전하게 되었다. 고려나전칠기는 나전과 대모, 금속선등을 이용한 세밀한 문양과 여기에 화려함을 더하는 묘금기법이 특징이다. 금분을 이용해 선묘를 하여 칠기를 장식하는 묘금기법은 회화적 장식적 측면에서 대단히 화려하지만 묘금에 의한 문양표현을 찾아볼 수 있는 유물은 극히 드물고 묘금기법에 대해 참고할 수 있는 문헌자료도 많지 않다. 본 연구에서는 고려시대 칠기의 묘금을 대상으로 미시경적 관찰을 하여 금분의 특징과 교착제, 교착상태 등에 관해 밝히고 고대기술의 복원연구 자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 연구결과 금분의 입자는 불규칙한 방형과 다각형, 삼각형 모양으로 크기가 2 ㎛에서 20 ㎛까지 다양하게 보이며 금분의 입자는 끝이 말려들어가 중첩되어진 부분이 보이고 전체적으로 금분입자는 종이가 구겨진 듯한 형상과 비슷하게 관찰되었다. 이번 연구를 통해서 고려시대 묘금에서 사용된 금분은 금박을 분말상태로 분쇄하여 만든 금분을 묘금에 사용하였다는 것을 보여준다.

조선소 밀집지역의 휘발성유기화합물 농도분포 특성에 관한 사례 연구 (Concentration Distribution of Volatile Organic Compounds in the Ambient Air of an Industrial Shipbuilding Complex : A Case Study)

  • 조선소 밀집지역의 휘발성유기화합물 농도의 공간 및 시간적 분포특성을 측정하였으며 이를 기반으로 지역적 특성을 평가하였다. 모든 시료채취지점에서 측정된 주요 휘발성유기화합물은 조선소 내부의 실내도장시설에서 측정된 물질들과 밀접한 연관성을 가지는 것으로 나타나 조선소 내부에서 이루어지는 도장작업이 주변지역의 휘발성유기화합물의 중요한 배출원임을 보여준다. 휘발성유기화합물의 분포를 결정하는 주된 요인들은 시료채취지점과 선박제조 작업장 사이의 거리와 선박제조 작업의 강도인 것으로 나타났다. 모든 시료채취지점에서 일반적인 도시 대기에서 관찰되는 VOCs 농도의 일반적인 시계열적 변화경향을 압도하는 도장작업의 강도에 따라 매우 넓은 범위의 휘발성유기화합물 농도가 관찰되었다.

Opaque 도재의 도포 방법에 따른 금속-도재의 결합강도에 미치는 영향에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on Effect on Debonding Strength of Metal-porcelain by Painting Method of Opaque Porcelain)

  • This study is the know the difference bond strength according to painting method of Opaque porcelain. Among Porcelain powder for Porcelain, Noritake powder, Bonding agent 1 class and metal are selected as Base metal alloy. And painting method of Opaque porcelain is divided by 4 groups : PG, WG, NG and DG. Also it is to manufacture 24 sheets of Specimen by 6 each every method and to measure Crack-initiation Strength of Metal-porcelain and it is to observe it by Scanning electron microscope. I come to get a conclusion as follows. 1. As for Debonding strength of every experiment groups, it showed that WS group which executed Wash bake had highest value, 44.25MPa and NG group which used Normal powder had value, 42.11MPa and DG group which used Bonding agent had value, 35.88MPa and PG group which used Paste opaque had value, 35.39MPa. 2. In four painting methods of Opaque porcelain, PG group, WG group, NG group and DG group, there is no significant difference statistically in Crack-initiation Strength. 3. As a result of observing fracture surface with Scanning electron microscope, it was showde that PG group remained a lot of particle of porcelain on the surface of metal than WG group, NG group and DG group.

Hygroscopicity and Ultraviolet (UV) Deterioration Characteristics of Finished Woods

  • This study investigated the hygroscopicity and UV deterioration characteristics of 3 domestic and 4 imported woods using natural oil, stain, and varnish paints. In terms of hygroscopicity, it was found that the hygroscopicity of the painted wood was lower than that of the unpainted wood, and that as the number of coatings increased, the hygroscopicity decreased. In terms of anti-absorption, oil-based chemical paints showed higher resistance than water-based paints, and natural oils showed results comparable to oil-based paints. As for the UV deterioration, the amount of color change of the painted wood was lower than that of the unpainted wood, and there was no significant difference according to the number of times of painting. The amount of color change was found to be low in oil-based paints and hardwoods. Through this study, we confirmed effective moisture blocking and small color changes during painting using paints, and it is believed that wood can be protected from internal and external defects through selective and efficient painting based on data for excellent painting performance.

An Analytical Study on the Visual Innovation of the Animation <Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse>

  • This study focuses on the art style research of the 3D Animation <Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse>, exploring the film's innovation in art design. The article first analyzes how the movie skillfully blends American comics, watercolor painting style, Pollock drip painting, and ink painting, among other artistic techniques, to present a unique visual experience for the audience. By specifically dissecting the character design and scene composition in the movie, it explores the specific application of these art styles and their methods in digital image production. Ultimately, the paper emphasizes the contribution of <Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse> to 3D Animated cinema, particularly its innovation in the field of art design, as well as its inspiration and possibilities for the diversity of art styles in animated films. Overall, this study aims to provide in-depth academic insight into the field of animated film art design and to promote its development and innovation.

  • The goal of this research is to describe relations between impressions and elements in an image (i.e. color, texture and contours). Adequate image segmentation technique to extract these elements is required. We think that a sketch and a realistic painting are examples of optimal segmented images for our purpose because brush strokes are seem to be segmented areas and realistic paintings should remain the same impression as the model. For the reason, in this paper the segmentation technique which can create realistic painting-like segmentation is exploited. It is shown that the realistic painting-like segmentation is suitable for analyzing images.
