Cold Drawn Bar 포장 자동화 기계설비에 관한 구조해석 (Structural Analysis of Cold Draw Bar Packaging Automation System)

  • In this study, we analyzed a cold draw (CD) bar packaging automation facility to examine its structural safety. The structural analysis focused on the frame part of the automatic packing machine for the CD round rod widely used in the industrial field, as well as the package supply device, banding suit, and crane part. As a result, we concluded that the structural safety for the banding suit, crane, and package supply device have been secured (safety factors of 9.8, 7.5, and 14.5, respectively). In addition, the safety factor of the transfer was 4.0.

Warpage Simulation by the CTE mismatch in Blanket Structured Wafer Level 3D packaging

  • In 3D wafer-stacking technology, one of the major issues is wafer warpage. Especially, The important reason of warpage has been known due to CTE(Coefficient of Thermal Expansion) mismatch between materials. It was too hard to choose how to make the FE model for blanket structured wafer level 3D packaging, because the thickness of each layer in wafer level 3D packaging was too small (micro meter or nano meter scale) comparing with diameter of wafer (6 or 8 inches). In this study, the FE model using the shell element was selected and simulated by the ANSYS WorkBench to investigate effects of the CTE on the warpage. To verify the FE model, it was compared by experimental results.

화학제조공정의 무인화를 위한 자동 캡 개폐장치 개발 (Development of an Automatic Cap Opening And Closing Device for Unmanned Chemical Manufacturing Processes)

  • Automatic production systems are constantly advancing technologies to improve productivity and safety. Specifically, liquid filling machines are primarily utilized to package products into drums after manufacturing process in the hazardous chemical industry. Most existing filling machines allow the operator to open the drum cap and inject the product directly or semi-automation. In this study, we have developed a cap opening and closing mechanism onto the existing drum filling machine, enabling automatic and safe cap manipulation while filling the product in the IBC tank. By applying the appropriate torque value through numerical analysis, we confirmed that the system worked without any problems during the process of opening and closing the cap. Therefore, it is expected that the developed machine will give more production and reduce human efforts without risk in the chemical packaging industry.

  • This paper presents a control of active suspension for quarter car model with two degree of freedom by using H$\infty$ method. Absolute velocity of car body is measured for feedback. The system parameter variations are treated with multiplicative uncertainty model. Simulation results show that the H$\infty$ control provides good trade-off between ride quality, suspension packaging and road holding constraints. The experiment with a front wheel suspension system was done to verify the simulation results.

편집설계 기법을 이용한 압축기 설계 시스템 개발 (Development of a Compressor Design System Using Configuration Design Method)

  • In this research, we developed a design system for a compressor of an air conditioner using solid CAD system. The developed design system has some characteristics. First, the design system used a configuration design method, so a designer can design a compressor very quickly by using the constructed master libraries. Next, the system was developed to be used not only by engineers but also by salesmen. It is very easy for a user to use it, so a salesman can get a result very easily with the design system. And it has some design modules which give a considerable convenience to designers. Actually, designers are accustomed to the module based design. Then, it has calculation and analysis functions. Volume and mass of a part, and interference between parts are calculated by using the geometric calculation function of a solid CAD system. Also a packaging calculation was implemented to get the smallest space to package compressors for transportation and storing. An interface with a program to analyze the vibration of a compressor was developed in this design system. The design system is similar to CBD (Case-Based Design) system in the view of the whole design process.

아레나 시뮬레이션을 활용한 화장품 포장공정의 개선사례 연구 (A Study on the Improvement Case of Cosmetic Packaging Process Using ARENA Simulation)

  • Demand for cosmetics with functionality and eco-friendliness has increased dramatically due to recent aging, well-being trends, and increased interest in beauty. Cosmetics production in 2014 was 8,970.4 billion won, an increase of about 50% compared to 6,014.6 billion won in 2010. In the midst of this, similar companies in intense competition are pursuing differentiated strategies and innovation activities to solve quality, price and delivery problems. In particular, cosmetics packaging work is getting more difficult due to the increasing bill of materials (BOM) and difficult assembly methods. Therefore, in this study, the following problems were identified and suggestions for the improvement of the packaging Many research laboratories such as biotechnology, chemistry, and pharmaceuticals, which are undergoing various studies, are equipped with ready-made laboratory safety equipments such as bio-safety workbenches, aseptic bases, and exhaust workbenches. However, most researchers are disadvantaged in using existing safety equipment. This is because existing safety equipment can not take into account all of the unique characteristics of the research. For this reason, researchers are demanding the development of customized safety equipment that is well suited to their research needs. process of Company C, which is facing difficult situation to respond to the customer 's delivery due to the 52 - hour work week. First, we used the stopwatch to find the difficulty process in the packaging process and show ways to improve it. Second, to improve the efficiency of line balancing in the packaging process, we integrate processes, improve work methods, and perform simple automation. As a result, the prepare loss for replacement was reduced by 1 minute from 5 minutes, resulting in a 23% increase in productivity from 112 ea./hour to 137ea./ hour per person. At this time, the LOB of the packaging process was improved from 70% to 82% by operating one more production line through one person per line, total 9 people saving.

  • 마이크로렌즈 어레이는 광학 시스템의 기본 부품으로, 사용 목적에 따라 초점거리가 다르게 제작되며, 대체로 긴 초점거리의 렌즈들이 많이 제작되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 졸겔(sol-gel) 내부에 들어있는 형광으로 염색된 물질을 관찰하기 위하여 마이크로렌즈 어레이를 제작하였다. 일반적으로 형광 현미경에서 관찰되는 형광 빛은 그 강도가 약하지만 마이크로렌즈를 이용할 경우 빛을 집중시켜 선명한 관찰이 가능하게 한다. 이를 실현시키기 위해 photoresist thermal reflow법을 사용하여 초점 거리가 짧은 마이크로렌즈를 제작하였으며, 렌즈의 형상 관련 오차를 측정하였다. 측정 오차에 기반을 둔 포토마스크 보정 및 스핀 코팅 조건을 조정하여 적합한 마이크로렌즈의 직경과 형상을 구현하였다.

휴대폰 셀 생산 공정 적용을 위한 양팔 로봇 개발 (Dual-arm Robot for Cell Production of Cellular Phone)

  • Recently, the requirement of automation in the cell production system is increasing due to a decrease of skilled workers who are the key point of a cell production system. This paper proposes a dual-arm robot designed and implemented with consideration of being applied to a cell production line of cellular phone. A specification was derived from the analysis of production process and the consideration of configuration for human-robot cooperation. Design and implementation results of the proposed dual-arm robot were suggested and the feasibility was verified through the demonstration of the proposed robot in some of packaging job of cellular phone.

Cu-Cu 패턴 직접접합을 위한 습식 용액에 따른 Cu 표면 식각 특성 평가 (Wet Etching Characteristics of Cu Surface for Cu-Cu Pattern Direct Bonds)

  • Cu-Cu 패턴의 직접접합 공정을 위하여 Buffered Oxide Etch(BOE) 및 Hydrofluoric acid(HF)의 습식 조건에 따른 Cu와 $SiO_2$의 식각 특성에 대한 평가를 수행하였다. 접촉식 3차원측정기(3D-Profiler)를 이용하여 Cu와 $SiO_2$의 단차 및 Chemical Mechanical Polishing(CMP)에 의한 Cu의 dishing된 정도를 분석 하였다. 실험 결과 BOE 및 HF 습식 식각 시간이 증가함에 따라 단차가 증가 하였고, BOE가 HF보다 더 식각 속도가 빠른 것을 확인하였다. BOE 및 HF 습식 식각 후 Cu의 dishing도 식각시간 증가에 따라 감소하였다. 식각 후 산화막 유무를 알아보기 위해 Cu표면을 X-선 광전자 분광법(X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy, XPS)를 이용하여 분석 한 결과 HF습식 식각 후 BOE습식 식각보다 Cu표면산화막이 상대적으로 더 얇아 진 것을 확인하였다.

  • 자기센서가 전압이나 전류의 형태 그대로 출력되는 경우에 발생되는 잡음 유입 및 전압 손실 문제를 개선하기 위하여 소자부는 CMOS공정을 이용하여, 포화영역에서 동작하는 2 drain의 MAGFET을 설계 제작하고, 연산증폭기를 이용한 I-V변환회로, VCO(Voltage Controlled Oscillator)를 만들고 Schmitt trigger에 의한 주파수(Pulse) 변환회로의 시스템부를 하이브릿드 IC로 구성하여 packaging했다. 이 때 자기센서 절대감도는 1.9 V/T, 적감도는 $3.2{\times}10^{4}\;V/A{\cdot}T$ 이었으며 190 kHz/T의 안정된 출력 주파수 특성을 얻을 수 있었다.
